I showed up here tonight (8/18/24) around 10:30 pm because I had heard that it was a chill place to have a beer or two on a Sunday night. There were maybe ten or so people at tables around the bar and maybe 8 or 9 people at the bar. When I showed up there was a bartender outside smoking and one server in the bar itself. I sat at a table. Five or six minutes went by wherein the server walked right by me several times. Ive worked in bars before, so I assumed she just wasnt taking new tables. So when the bartender came back in, I went and stood by the bar. In the five minutes I stood there, she spent two of them talking to the server about nothing. During the other three she checked on all the people at the bar except me. Me, she looked at in the eyes three times and kept moving. I get being busy, which she didnt seem to be, but to just ignore a customer? Unacceptable. I will never come back to this place, because apparently if youre not a regular you get no service.

There is a really loud regular who is loud like he runs the place and has really bad hygiene. Brandi is a great server but I think she left. Almost every other server I’ve had has been hateful but the two younger girls i can’t remember their names but they are the only reason I’ve gone back. The woman behind the bar wearing the Jojo siwa bow everyday of her life is mean to people for the fun of it I think?

I wanted to try this place out. I had a great sandwich and the drink was great. Fair prices. My husband and I started here on our anniversary date and was treated with the coldest server. She answered in one word responses, did not smile and seemed annoyed we were there. It was so uncomfortable we almost left. She gave a half smile once she arrived with a ticket, but even then I felt unwelcome.I don’t know if it’s bc my husband has purple hair and sparkly nails, or bc I didn’t wear my wedding ring tonight. But I felt hated and uncomfortable. Do not eat here.

Food was ok,service could use a tweeking. I liked the Philly steak. Ate there twice in the last 3 days. Margaritas were nor the good both days

Very difficult to get any service even if it’s not busy! You sit on the patio and try to get a drink inside they send you away. You sit inside to try to get serviced - still no better. New bartenders/servers are needed and need to be trained in customer service. It shouldn’t be difficult to get a drink in a bar. Especially a small one!

The service is great on certain nights. There is a bartender that shows favoritism to certain customers.The food is delicious and the drinks are great. Love the place and have gone there for years.

The lady at the bar with glasses is terrible at her job. I am from out of town and decided to give it a try. One and done for me. After reading other reviews, I am not the only one who has witnessed the abhorrent customer service at this place. It’s not hard to have good customer service…

Disrespectful bar tender said her name was either “Brandy or Brittany” she yelled and cursed at us because we decided to cancel after I ordered them like 5 seconds after I put the last round order in.…….in canceled drinks before she even made them! Everyone in the bar could hear her disrespecting unprofessional attitude. Bartender said she was Mexican and that’s why she spoke that way. We said we are Mexican too and we have respect! From the moment we walked in she kept staring us down and felt unwanted and unwelcome! We have been going to this place for years and never experienced this! Owner needs to talk to her about being professional. Unbelievable experience!!! We were trying to take a selfie group of 6 and she kept waving hi, she thought we wanted a pic of her… but I went ahead and took one. She ruined our celebration!

Cool place, many locals, listening to conversations across the room...all good. Very reasonable prices on beer, wine and mixed drinks.I ordered the KC strip, tender and juicy and flavorful.Barstools could use an upgrade.

I am a frequent visitor at Harrys, but after my last experience, I am not sure I will return. The waitress, Brittany, was very rude from the time I entered. True, I understand you are supposed to have your ID in a bar, but this is the first time ever I got carded in two years (and I just so happened to leave my ID in my car). The bartender, Danielle, was very rude as well, knowing she has served me without carding me many times before. They refused to serve me, which is understandable, so I went and got my ID. Apparently, there was a problem table (they all spoke about what happened), and it happened to be a table of African American women that gave Brittany problems, so she was stressed. It seemed to me she was being rude to me from the start due to her feeling like I would be a problem. Harrys was giving very racial profiling vibes, smh. Do better, Harrys.

Food was great... as usual. We must have come at a bad time. Staff was friendly to obvious regulars, but we were very ignored.

My friends and I usually sit on the patio, which is such a little paradise in the Wichita concrete jungle.Service here is awesome. All the waitresses are so friendly, polite and super, super nice. A rarity these days. Many a bar/restaurant has lost our business due to their staff being far from professional, let alone nice, so kudos to Harrys for their consistant staff picks. The food is by far some of the best & cleanest, ( not greasy & badly processed) than at most local bars. Love this little haven. Highly recommend.

Don’t know her name but the bartender girl was very rude and acted irritated when we ordered or asked for service but was very friendly with the male customers I normally enjoy that place but she made it very unwelcoming! Don’t take bad experiences with other females out on every female that enters!

Be careful. Great place and good food, but recently discovered the bar staff had added more tip money to the bill after we had left. Be warned...use your credit card at your own peril. They seem to like shaving extra money from your account.

My group of 5 walked in at 5:45. Took 30 minutes to get the waitress to take our order. Food didnt show up until 7:20. Strongly dont recommend this coming here if you have any other plans in the evening. All the food was coming out of the microwave. Could see that from where I was sitting.

So many of my fun memories were made here. The tenderloin sandwich and their waffle fries were my favorite. I heard from Benny that they now have tater tots as well. ☺️❤️

Isk what was worse the steak or the service. Couldnt even get a second drink. Lady just brought our recipt like we were ready to go. We had just ordered more drinks but we took the hint and left. Thanks but no thanks the food was cold by the time it got to us and was one of the worst steaks Ive ate in my life.

Very clean quiet place. Smaller eating area wait staff was nice and prompt. The fried pickles were lightly seasoned. There was no heat to the spice of the fried pickles and the batter did not fall off like others that I have had. The hot roast beef missed the mark this time, it was warm not piping hot like usual. The Ruben has the thousand island dressing on the side and I actually preferred it without. Two sandwiches, beer, soda, and fried pickles for just a little over 30 not bad.

Great place to people watch and socialize. They have great burgers. Also a local theater hang out if youre into that sort of thing.

Good atmosphere. Food was something to be desired for. One bathroom each for Male and Female. When the place is full good luck bro

Food was still fabulous after not eating here for years... when I come to Wichita this is where I choose to eat because the food is fabulous and the staff makes you feel like youre at home...wings definitely got that heat to them if you really like hot stuff...

For 20 years I have consistently gotten great service and the stiffest drinks in town! That combo keeps me coming back time after time!

Its a typical sports bar experience. Clean atmosphere and very attentive wait staff. College football game was going on so it was packed. Loud but appropriate.

Best wings in town havent really experienced much more in their other than their Margaritas which are always strong and good great service in general

Waitress was great, friendly and upbeat personality. Food was good. We ate at Harrys on opening night of the NFL regular season...Chiefs v Lions. Atmosphere was electric and fans made our experience more enjoyable. Ive been to Harrys a few times and will always return when Im in Wichita.

The vibe when you walk in this joint is very unique. Definitely a place with a lot of regulars, but frequented enough by outsiders to remain lively. A mix of sports fans, alcohol fans, groups of friends and, oddly, people finishing projects from work.The service is friendly and professional, and exactly what you would expect for a sports bar. This bar is clearly not intended for families with children, nor is it very accommodating for children.The food is hit-or-miss bar food. If you want fried food, its your place. The burger patties are weirdly textured, but overall a mostly enjoyable burger.Drinks are satisfactory!

Based on my experience here, this place was decent. Drinks were alright. Customer service was average. Food is decent. No issues occurred. This place does get busy. Prices reasonable. Would recommend.

I am in town for the state fair. A combat veteran with a service dog. I was told that the owner does NOT allow service dogs into those establishment! Obviously the owner is putting the staff in an awkward position and doesnt know the laws of the ada. I am here for more than a week and wouldve frequented this bar/restaurant however if my service dog isnt welcome than neither am I. Enjoy your freedom that us veterans thanklessly fought for and I will never give you my $$ and let every veteran know how you operate.

The food is the only good thing at this point and only a few servers! Most of the staff just get drunk all night and act like brats. I don’t know what’s happened to Harry’s even the owner is a drunk! Peyton is the worst server and the manager is always drunk and a witch! They over pour so please Uber or you are risking a DUI. The best people there are Brandy, Mo and Tori everyone else needs a attitude check or maybe they need to find new jobs!

Stopped in on a really hot afternoon to have a hamburger and an iced tea for lunch. Met with a friend to have a conversation as well. The hamburger was amazing! Starting with the beef quality. The best Burger, Ive had in a long time period, half pound patties cooked perfectly, not dried out. Ordered french fries extra crispy, and they were perfectly crispy. The iced tea is not soft brew. Its actually ice tea thats enjoyable and flavorful, definitely fresh.Thank you Tracy for keeping this place open for years.

First time going in. I feel like the waiting staff could of been a little more friendly. Food was good and service wasnt bad just could of used some personality. Not a bad local spot.

My family and friends have been coming here for years. A great cozy place for day drinking or anytime! And they take their drinks serious!

An Uptown staple. Ridiculously good value if you want to get tipsy on a budget. The drinks are heavily-poured but still palatable, as long as you dont order anything too fancy. The food menu consists of burgers, wings, various fried appetizers, and a few dinner platters — nothing adventurous, but consistently good for a sports bar. All the servers Ive had have been no-nonsense but very attentive. The crowd tends to be on the older, gruffer, blue-collar side, it can get a little rowdy sometimes but its never been a problem for me personally.

Nice bar. Always a crowd. The food was good, but I think they may need more wait staff, maybe one. We only saw two ladies working and ours was so busy. People were actually tracker her down to pay there bill to leave. We wait 22 minutes after getting the receipt to pay. But I am not taking away that she was an awesome waitress!!

Had the special pork monterrey but the pork was inedible. Pork Jerky. Told the waitress to tell the cook the pork was terrible and the bartender went off saying she knew I was going to complain. Well ya the pork is dry the chips are stale and the drinks are just liquor. All bad. Never had a bad meal there before. This one makes all the good meals null and void. I wont be back..

The old lady with the bow behind the bar barely acknowledged me when i sat down. She continued to walk to other people while i sat there patiently waiting. I didn’t want to stay because the attitude made the environment unsettling.

Great atmosphere, good music, great food. If I drank, I would probably 5* the place, but I cant critique the drinks. The food is simple bar food, but what they have has been great! Fried pickles were my faves, and the hubs liked the hamburger steak. We both enjoyed the steak fries and my onion rings were perfect.

For a small bar and grill..probably not the best place for group lunch or dinner. But I do like the food there. The lady who served us was very nice. If you want to hangout for a drink and good food, then I would recommend this place.

Amazing place with incredible staff! Our server Brandi was super friendly and personable, she ensured we never experienced a empty cup or stomach with her great service. I wish I could rate this place 6 stars as the price and service deserves more then 5 stars.

Harrys is your local watering hole with good food and drink, dont expect Fancy dining or over the top drinks they keep it simple but good.

This place sucks I’d rather just sit at home then to deal with their staff. The food is subpar and they don’t do any specials. Also they all do drugs right in front of the customers, how professional! I will never go back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else there either. The good reviews have to old this place is a joke!

Love this place! Wife and I felt right at home like it was our local pub, and the great food for great prices were coupled beautifully with long pours. Welcoming casual environment, lots of TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game with some friends, nice screened patio space for smoking while you eat and drink, and the space is extremely well-designed to maximize customer seating both at the bar and at tables. We have been about half a dozen times and I often eat the same thing when I go somewhere but everything Ive tried here has been great quality pub style food, especially for the prices. Great apps, sandwiches, Harrys potato soup, big shrimp basket, the list goes on and never disappointed.

Wonderful food, comfy atmosphere, and a wait staff that takes your patronage seriously. Meet up with my friend once a month for lunch and our waitress remembers our food and drinks every time. Wish I could rennet her name and that’s a fault on me not her. We are pretty set in what we eat. LOVE the BLT salad 🥗.

For the price the food was great nothing fancy but nothing trashy... just cozy on the money decent food... the drinks for the price were awesome and cheap and good. Wife and I went here for lunch today! Kept it simple had a shot and some lunch with an appetizer! 40 bucks and some change best lunch date with the cool warn relax atmosphere!

Good service. Nice atmosphere. Affordable. Last time I had a burger and wasnt too impressed. It was obviously a premade Patty type but this time I had the chicken strips and they were delicious. Very crunchy and with good flavor. Steak fried were fried just right and the beer is super cheap. $2.50 domestic bottles. We enjoy it here.

My favorite place to go in Wichita. The food is always good and the drinks are hands down some of the strongest in town, all at below reasonable prices. The staff is lively and accommodating and always ready for your next drink. If youre looking for a great dive bar with a great atmosphere, this is your place. And dont forget to come every Monday night close to midnight for a game of Rock Paper Scissors, tournament style(bring a dollar). Its always a blast and might take care of your tab.

First time and the last time Ill be there. Walking in theres first thing i noticed was the a tall mountain of conjumbled napkins everywhere in the building. The lime for my beer was soooo old almost moldy an fermented. Ordered a Vegas bomb she put Malibu rum in it an Alot of it, no cranberry in it either. It was over poured an made wrong also way way to strong. I told her on the drink menu it has no Malibu rum she said well thats how we make it and the recipe on the menu is wrong....... Im sorry but theres only one way to make a Vegas bomb an the recipe on the menu is accurate. Over all not impressed everything I ordered had an issue.

The wings seemed different this last time. But those girls are awesome! If Danielle its in the building its gonna be good!

Bad service (apparently because we werent regulars). I asked if they had a certain beer and got a harsh no then she walked away to help regulars. Finally came back to take our order. Same server even let a regular cut in line in front of me for the rest room. Bad experience. She made us feel unwelcome. Wont go back.

My friends & I go in once every couple weeks, it is less than 1 block from my apt. Good & Drinks always good, service could be better(this is coming from a former server, who understands what they go through, but I also have expectations.) The servers have never seemed too friendly, its disappointing.

This is the best hole-in-the-wall, local bar! Ive been coming to Harrys for 2 decades and it just keeps getting better. Its my Cheers. The pours are strong, the food is comfort-great, and the service is the best in town. Great outdoor patio, smoking allowed there if you smoke. Dont miss the waffle fries, seriously...best fries in Wichita!

We went here specifically for dinner and the food was delicious! The Classic Club was so tasty and my husband enjoyed his Bacon Cheeseburger. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. The interior is small and cozy with color changing light bulbs. It was a cool affect, but also a bit distracting as the light level in the bar greatly varies depending on what color is on at the moment.I only rated 3 stars due to the fact that you HAVE to walk past the smoking patio to enter/exit the establishment and, since the walkway is mostly enclosed, it creates a heavy cloud of smoke to get through. I get headaches from secondhand smoke, so I had to hold my breathe and hope the smoke wouldnt stick to my clothes and hair. Due to this fact, any return visits will be rare.

The Hispanic waitress/bartender there is incredibly rude. Treated me like I was trash for asking for a tall drink. Its the same and then proceeded to make me a short using soda instead of tonic.Shouldnt be treated like trash for asking for a simple drink.

Food and service are great.. inside is outdated and feels really grungy. Seats are old and hard to sit in. The bar seats tip forward and you have to hold yourself into the seat. Awkward

Good drinks, cool vibe, but the food feel a little short. I was with some new friends and didnt wanna make a big deal.. They were kinda busy and seemed a little short staff. I ordered a turkey ruben, no 1,000 island and no kraut!! Just some turkey and cheese!?? Other then that, I would go back....

If you’re thinking about going to Harry’s, you should stop thinking and go!The food is pretty good for bar food and the drinks… the drinks are 100% worth it!! Love this local watering hole! Harrys is a little historic, very casual, and a whole lot of fun! Basic classic pub fare with healthy options too! Service is good and the drinks are great! Indoor and outdoor seating. Late food menu. Ample parking and handicap parking too. Located on Douglas at Hillside in Wichita, Ks. next to Margaritas. Meeting people us easy and hanging out with your own crowd is always a blast! Daily drink and food specials make it affordable!

Absolutely favorite bar in Wichita. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and the pours are stiff. Several TVs make it a great place to watch the game. The fried okra is my go-to snack, while the hot wings are my favorite meal. You cant go wrong!

The food and drink is always very good. However, the bar staff acts like they would rather not be bothered by another customer. Disappointing service. This place could be awesome with different bar staff.

If you’re a regular don’t go after 12am. No matter how much you tip you will get turned away for a shot at 1:27am. Head to another bar for sure. Spent hundreds here and they don’t have the respect.

The outside dining area has a beautiful beachy mural. Inside is decorated with stained glass lights and panes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. One visit and we had a new Wichita fave!

Good prices and great food , one of the better places Ive had a steak in town and with a ll the fixins . The steak was so tender you could cut it with the butter knife. Cooked exactly the way I ordered and staff was really good as well.

Ive never left here disappointed. The drink specials are always great. The foods nothing special but certainly not bad and priced very reasonably. I always try new things and always leave full and happy. Also - all the staff is great. Very friendly.

We went there the other day and was totally ignored. There were at least 2 staff, both at the bar and 12 people there which all of them had been waited on. I guess if you are not a regular they are interested in your business. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Needless to say we left there and was very disappointed as we have never been treated this way at any establishment.

I stopped by with family a month or so ago and had a burger and fries. Very good overall. There was a baby praying mantis on our patio table which was, I must say, a pretty cool experience. We set him in the bushes to go do whatever it is that baby praying mantises do. I didnt actually go inside, we ate on the patio.I didnt have drinks or dessert, just the burger and fries and I was stuffed. I tasted the chili from another plate and it was also pretty delicious. Its definitely a food-bar type atmosphere. Ill be going back again.

Harrys has always been considered one of those well established places, that is on the map of bar and grills, you cant really go wrong with by choosing here to go eat, have some drinks, relax and really be comfortable while your there.Ive been in Wichita for 48 years and remember back as far as I can that Harrys Bar and Grill has always been there. I have been here many many times throughout the years. I honestly cant remember a single visit that had a negative experience.Harrys has always had a good menu with good food, fully stock bar along with a pretty good list of beers on hand. Always have had excellent service by the wait staff or bar.So if your visiting in Wichita and looking for a very comfortable atmosphere with postive attributes. Harrys is the place.

The food was delicious! The chicken strips were crispy and tender! The waffle fries are a must!! Whatever seasoning the use is outstanding! Its a nice small, quiet space and all the waitress were so sweet!!

Love the staff the girls are always on point and know what me and my friend want without askingLove this bar will always be one of my favorite Wichita spots since I was a kid and my dad and I would eat there. One of the reasons I love living in College Hill is this Wichita staple!! Thank u Harrys and oh duh the food is Delish!

Harry’s consistently delivers as a go to spot for a drink and a bite. They don’t serve barf food, they serve yummy food... for instance...If you like chicken wings that don’t drip sauce down your arm, you’ll love the crunchy, slightly battered, just spicy enough to get your attention wings at Harry’s.If you’re tired of seeing every bartender on land with a jigger in their hand, you’ll be happy as a clam and want to strike up the band! So why don’t you sit on the porch where you won’t scorch...(*you won’t scorch because they have misters).

We walked in and one waitress who was right in front of us just continued what she was doing. We got no greeting or instructions on seating. After about a minute a girl came in from the patio and told us to seat ourselves. She did an ok job of taking care of us. The food was overpriced and just ok. I dont think we will be back. Not impressed!

Generally an all around great place to dine, tonight was terrible. Was very happy for the restaurant to be so packed for the business side of it, however we waited over an hour to receive our food and the order was wrong then had 2 to go orders that we had to wait another 30 minutes on because they didnt start cooking it until were leaving. Just got home and neither of the to-go orders were correct, not even close. Very disappointed this go around!!

This place is going downhill fast! Sat at bar and it was very slow. Maybe 10 people total and it took 10 minutes before the bartender even approached to take my order. She wasnt busy and walked right by me several times. Definately going to find a new bar and pass on to my friends to skip going to this joint.

The margaritas were seriously the worst Ive ever had, but thats not a big deal, you can always order a different drink. Im giving it 2 stars because I can not believe how rude our waitress was. I honestly should be giving it 1 star, but Im giving her the benefit of the doubt that she might be having a bad day. But I definitely wont be going back there.

Harry’s is a classic that I never get sick of. Family owned with die-hard regulars. They pour a stiff drink, but the food is also worth going in for. My personal favorites are the spicy chicken club & potato skins, but everything I’ve had is great.

Enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage for Saint Patricks weekend. The service was good and drinks were as well. Its been awhile since the the rafters were dusted. Loved all the stained glass and nostalgic bar signs from the Wichita area.

Fun friendly bar and grill. Would have given 5 stars if it was a little more updated inside. I like dives so the lack of updates didnt concern me. Had an outside deck for smoking plus theres big screens out there so you can watch the games.

The waitress was great the drinks were okay . The burgers tasted like they were frozen. The atmosphere was a lot if fun! Ill go back for drinks but not the food .

I have been going to Harrys on a regular basis for about 2-3 yrs now. I have always had very friendly, helpful waitresses and wonderful food. I took my family there and now they want to go every time they are in town. The owner is very friendly and I cannot say enough good about it. Definitely a must try if you have not been there.

We came inside to a moderately filled restaurant and were told to sit wherever we want. We asked if the patio was okay and they said yes. Sat out there for 15 minutes without anybody coming to serve us. Ended up walking across the street and getting bbq. It was delicious!

Stopped in for lunch and I guess we were not part the in crowd since after we were seated we watched several others that came in after us get waited on.Even after we went to the bar and asked for service we felt disrespected.Ended up next door at margaritas..much happier.

Forgot I had to wear my mask every place I went! Inside the bar. I am only human. I come there to buy drinks which are strong! Tonight I got a warning to keep my mask on which I totally understand but was also asked to tab out and leave after the third time. Honestly it could of been handled differently bc it came with attitude. I didnt do it on purpose but when you have to keep getting up to remind your waitress to bring your drinks....i get a little frustrated. Thats ok tho....not the only bar in town.

Great crew, food and service!! The food is all fresh, the B52 burger is a must try as well as the meatloaf!! They have daily lunch specials too! Dont forget to check them out! It has a old school feel to it.. that is what makes it harrys! Go try it, you will be glad you did!!

To start, our waitress was fairly rude. I ordered the famous B-52 burger and was very unpleased. For one, I ordered it without cheese but got cheese anyway. I did not send it back due to the attitude the waitress already had. And second, the burger was a pre-formed patty that was very bland. I drowned it in Ketchup and Mustard just to get some flavor. We will not be visiting this establishment again.

Its definitely a neighborhood bar! Its a College Hill bar. If you live near by, you might see your neighbors there. They have a nice patio area. Food is pretty decent. Its bar food. I get carry out a lot. I dont hang out here because for one I dont drink and 2 cousins :-(

I took a friend to a nearby eye appointment. I had a different friend who recommend Harrys. He said they had a great chicken fried steak. My friend and I completely agree!!! Ill definitely be back!!!

Have gone to Harrys for 30 yrs. Great place, good food, strong drinks. However, last time I stopped in the flies ate more of my food than I did. Ended up leaving...just grossed me out. Maybe take a Fly Zapper if youre going. Sort of expensive fly food.

Mellow down to earth place. Good place to converse and have some Spiked drinks. Dont even bother asking for double shot drinks thats thats the norm here. Quiete friendly staff and decent appetizers. Would be 5 stars however they do not have Draft Beer here.

I Was looking for a good sandwich and the place I wanted to go to was closed I happened upon Harrys that was the first mistake. The reviews were good, which gave me hope. I ordered the super nachos and a Rueben sandwich second mistake. The nachos were 9$ what I got was a handful of chips with cheese. Somehow Harrys has managed to bypass science and melt cheese while keeping the entire dish still cold. Rueban was tasteless the only saving grace was the fries. The club we also ordered was trash as the whole thing was ruined by the cheese that still tasted like the plastic it was packed in. The servers were friendly. However i hope they serve very strong drinks as that is the ony way the food could possibly be worth it. Overall a waste of 30$ and a lunch....0/10 would not reccomend

This time not so much. Upon arrival there was a group on the patio that was obnoxiously loud, drunk. Ok, my friend and I wanted a late night bite so whatever. We sit down outside anyway. The patio is not large but this group is all standing like they were leaving. Boy was I wrong.Bonnie was our server and she took orders quick enough, and she was friendly. The cigarette she was smoking when she walked up was off putting, but its a bar so I dont trip. When she brought the drinks she got close enough for us to tell she was drinking. I know, thats strike 3, but if you read the 1st review we had a good enough time on our last visit, so..... When Bonnie sets the drinks down, she claps her hands and sprays my friend in the face with water, we hope. My boy didnt say a word at the time.We take a bit of time with the food menu and the loud table gets Bonnie to sit down for a sec. When Bonnie gets up to take our order, the biggest loudestmouth gets up and stops her. Bonnie told this guy she was going to take an order, he grabs her by the arm. She tries to pull away, but he dosent let her go.The big jerk says to her, its ok, like my boy and I can wait until hes done talking. By the time he started whispering in her ear, we got up to leave. Bonnie apologized but it was time to take the hint.Management needs to regain hold of the reigns before its just another Wichita dive.

I used to frequent this bar as a waitress from the dinner theater nearby. I would spend lots of money, sometimes hundreds in a weekend and I would tip very well, sometimes 25% and never complained about the indeed horrible service. The bartender, who Ill call completely insane, got me ARRESTED for trespassing for asking another patron to buy me a drink. I used to bring in business and spend a lot of money there, now I dont come at all anymore. This was my neighborhood bar. And if this E.L. is still a bartender there, she should be fired for disgracing the friendly mood of the bar and costing one of its loyal patrons stress, court costs, and dignity. This was completely unprovoked, if not solidly unproffessional behavior for a bartender. Who gets arrested from their own pub? I love this bar, its got SUPER food and drinks, but their manager could probably hire a few more waitresses, and shed terrible bartenders to make it even better. And yes, Im available if you need a quality server;)

You very own hometown and bad ass bar. Good place to watch the game too. If you are going to booze cruise on a Saturday night, start your night at Harrys and bar hop on the Q all the way down Douglas.

Love this place. The atmosphere is pretty nice and their patio is very comfortable. Mostly for people 30+. Food and Drinks are good and big. Waitresses are cute and helpful.

I had a very enjoyable lunch with my friend at Harrys uptown bar on Friday.we had lunch outside and the fan along with the misting water made it comfortable to eat and have a drink with lunch. Im sure well be going back soon. Harrys garden burger is fantastic

I was unaware that they placed an expiration date of 12 months on it from the date it was purchased, which was a month or so before Christmas. When I went to use it they told me sorry it has expired and we wont honor it. So the $25 dollars that my family put out is now in there pockets with nothing to show for it. Not only will I not eat there I will tell all my friends not to go there. I hope the owners think all this is worth their $25 in ill will.

I accidently left a nice mask that my 7 year old daughter picked out for me. I went back 30 minutes later to retrieve the mask. The waitress informed me that she had thrown it away and was completely unapologetic. So if I had left my coat or my purse, would they have just thrown that away as well? At the very least they could have stuck it behind the bar for the remainder of the afternoon. Very disappointed.

Great bar food, good patio, stiff drinks (cheap), our service was kind of slow but it was during a chiefs game. Overall good experience I would go again. The onion rings and waffle fries were very good and food came out hot!

Harrys is a great establishment to get a mixed drink and some food. The spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries is awesome! The Crown and Cokes are poured right. Go visit them!

The food menu is your typical bar food and then some. Not the best in town but def worth trying. But lets be real, you go to Harrys for the drinks. Font bother ordering a double, youll be set with a single pour.

Sever wasnt very friendly. Asked to have the tables cleaned she said give me a min and Ill clean it after the drinks was served. We left after one drink. Went next door and had a blast!

Service was good. However the burger I had at lunch sucked. It was a pre-made patty and very bland. The menu said it was an original burger since the 80s. Maybe the name was that old. But no way they could have sold those nasty things like the one I had for that long .....Yuck

Popular bar... cosy (stained glass, dim lighting, wierd shtuff in the rafters) attended by lots and lots of regulars. Most Wichita natives know that Harrys is where you want to go for a sincere & serious pour. So give it an A++ for those who are fond of alcohol. They have a great patio, if youre into that kind of thing thats wonderful in decent weather and tolerable on all but the coldest of days. PS ... and for those who might be vegetarians, Harrys has GREAT salads!! So you can eat healthy while you pickle your brains

Came here late night after attending a gig. Lively crowd, service was fast enough considering they were busy.

Nice venue. Enjoyed my burger and fries. They have a lot of regulars which tells me that they are good to their customers.

The steak was tougher than a boot and the waitresses was meaner than a badger! My dog could not chew the leftovers but he ended up swallowing the entire steak whole!

An old haunt. Still as I remember. Wasnt busy at the Noon hour when I was there. I ordered food and drink special. Both were fine.

The staff is incredibly rude and the crowd of people seem the type that its their bar, and theyre not open to welcoming new comers. I was highly dissatisfied, plus the bartender couldnt even bring me a simple Bud Light. I got brought a Coors twice before it was right.
