Mimi did a great job with my acrylic! She made it look exactly like the reference photo. This is a good salon if you want a more detailed design. Its much better than the other salons Ive reviewed so far. There was a bit of a wait when I arrived but staff were very polite

My new favorite local nail salon. Today was my first time visiting this salon. They were quite busy and I was a walk in but didnt have to wait. Zin was the absolute sweetest nail tech and she was attentive and paid close attention to details. I loved that she had a gentle touch. The salon was clean, relaxing and nicely designed. My nails are beautiful I will definitely be back.

Such a good experience! Mimi is amazing at designs. She can really do anything you bring in. Her pedicures and manicures are great! She is also great at eyebrow waxing. Definitely go in and ask for MIMI!

I had a great experience everyone was very friendly. The color I got was extremely beautiful. I am very pleased with what I got. The only issue I has was me understanding what I was getting. I don’t ever do this so I was not clear I don’t think with what I wanted or she did not understand what I said. She did ask me if I like what she did and I do although it was not what I asked for.i wish I would have spoken up and told her no when she asked. She accidentally stepped on my toe but quickly fixed my toenail.I wanted round nails like hers with small heart design but I got rounded square with large heart ❤️ it is very beautiful.

My nails look amazing! She removed my previous nails and took her time to ensure that my natural nails were protected in the process. I also got my eyebrows done and they did an amazing job. They were busy yet. I still had no wait every time that I have come here for my nails have always been pleased, I definitely definitely recommend.

Great service at Friendly Nails in Robinhood Village. I found them by googling nails near me and I took a chance with them. As a first time customer I was very pleased. Kam was the nail tech that did my nails. I received a nail take off, full set with design and a pedicure. She was very personable, quick and talented. I was in and out in less than two hours. Frequent customer of the friendly nails Winston Salem shops but 2nd at this shop and I like it the most by far! 3rd time with Cam doing my nails and she is amazing. First time in a long time that I can do what I want with my nails without being forced into tips. The shop is nice and relaxed. They greet you immediately and are very accommodating.

Edit: went in today to get my nails done for my birthday as a walk in along with 2 other ladies. We all get seated they get their nails started before me even though I walked in first. I was told to get up out of one chair because the man had an appointment coming in after waiting for 15 minutes. Very unprofessional makes me not want to go back but I do like Kam that part still stands. Service today just sucked!It was a great experience. I went in with a picture of what I wanted and came out with an even better nail set. I will definitely be returning. Kam did a wonderful job

Yesterday was the second time I went there, this time for a fill, with my bellissima ragazza in tow. My schedule is very hectic, and unfortunately, I always forget to make an appt, so being able to walk in is absolutely amazing. Wait time is very minimal, and the work they provide is phenomenal. My daughter and I walked out with a set of nails that are beyond gorgeous. Thank yall so very much, and the compliments we receive on our nails have not stopped! I have been very excited to tell people about Friendly Nails and all the amazing staff there. Cant wait to see what kind of art work is done for the next fill. 🙌 🥰

There is a reason why Friendly Nails is voted the best nail salon in winston-salem. The salon itself is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and they do try to accommodate requests. For example, today, I had a pedicure and asked for acrylic overlay on my toes because I wanted my nails a little bit longer. They did it, and I think it looks fantastic. I have been going there for several years now, and I have never been disappointed or left unsatisfied.

This nail salon is beautiful and so clean. The staff are inviting and prompt. I have no complaints about my experience and as someone not from around this area, I will be a normal customer!

I got my first mani-pedi in about 6 years and it was a simple gel for both. Tina was the woman who did my pedicure and it was 100/10 she was extremely detailed yet very gentle and made sure to be very precise with her tools! I’m going to her next time!

Average nails but I had to pay above average prices. My first time there was really great. I wish I had been able to get the same lady, Cam, again my second time. They don’t have a way for you to make appointments and request a specific person like I am used to from other salons.

Pros: no wait, treated nicely by staff, nice pedi stone massage, water is hot, clean and well decorated, lovely massage chairs.Cons: my nails only lasted two days and I paid $113 for them. 😞 I had higher expectations for gel. I suggest only getting sns if your nails are weak- so it doesn’t crack.

Their Burlington location has become my go-to nail salon. They are well staffed, which means there hardly ever is a wait. The majority of the technicians speak fluent English, and all are very friendly. I’ve been a regular (every 2-3 weeks) for over 6 months.

Terrible experience don’t know how they are voted best nail salon In Winston. They cut off half my nail, ignored requests for nail shape, over charged and made us wait after telling us there was no wait time. The quality was very poor and the staff is not trained well.

The wait was to long my wife and I set in the chairs 25 minutes until we were able to get our pedicures. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.My pedicure was very relaxing and the stylist did a great job.

Used to enjoy coming here but both myself and other family members have had poor interactions with an employee that sits in the first chair.Plenty of nail salons in the area that are welcoming and not combative. I would recommend going elsewhere.

I had a great experience. It was my first visit. The pedicure was awesome. I got sns on my natural nails but the only thing is the top coat has been peeling off so Ive had to go back the next morning get three nails fixed. And now after Labor Day and I just got back into town. I have the other hand that have two pealing. I didnt even go back cuz Im just busy right now. I recommend changing the top coat to another brand. I will return to try again.

Great service always. I love that they have a timer to make sure I get my full 10 minute foot massage included with the basic pedicure. It is a stone massage, which most places charge extra for.

Drove over an hour thinking my friend and I would get great service and leave with beautiful nails. At first they would not let my friend and I get the same color as we wanted to match. My nail tech while doing my toes, didn’t even bother to use nail polish remover when she got the paint on my skin. She rushed through the manicure, none of my nails are even, I literally have globs of polish on my nails and she got more polish on my skin. Refused to use nail polish remover again and tried to use the cuticle cutters to get it off. You can see where she didn’t even coat the nails correctly. Not to mention the tech that did my friend’s nails was the same way about her manicure. She had more polish on her skin than her actual nails. I never take time to write any reviews but when after spending $100 I had to. As for there customer service they barely even spoke to us and the whole thing felt rushed even though the salon was empty. I would share more photos but on the way home I already picked half of the polish off.

First time here and this a very professional and friendly salon. The manager Kam is very friendly and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable about my concerns and was super sweet and approachable. The salon has a relaxing atmosphere that I throughly enjoy.

Friendly Nails is awesome. The salon owner, Kevin has done my SNS French tips since 2013. Several have done my pedicure over the years and they are all wonderful. The salon is relaxing, clean, and friendly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I went in for a pedicure. The women was older with shoulder length hair and had a grey streak in the front. She was very aggressive and seemed to get angry when my foot wasnt exactly where she wanted it. She scraped my heels so hard that they are still sore after a week. It also appears I may have athletes foot between my toes as well. Never again!

The best and most comfortable pedicure i’ve ever gotten! i got the classic pedicure with gel polish and paid 58 + tip. i felt it was reasonable for the level of detail and care i got!

I called on Saturday to make an appointment for my mother and I for Sunday at 11 when they first open since we had afternoon plans. The employee stated they get real busy at 11 and could I come at 1pm. I told him we had plans then he asked if we could come at 1030!! 😲 wow - talk about customer service. This place is quite a ways from my house but the people who live nearby are lucky to have such a customer oriented shop! It was very clean. Pedicurist did a great job. Im not used to paying $30 for basic pedicure but I appreciated him opening early. Pleasant music, clean & attractive decor inside.

The pedicure was good however the lady that did my gel polish was completely sloppy! The polish had bubbles in it… paint want not even! I told her multiple times that I was not satisfied and she tried to act like she didn’t understand what I was say! All because she didn’t want to do it over! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Pedicures are &73 and should not end in a sloppy paint job! I will not be returning

They did a great job. We came in on a holiday and they worked us right in. I got a pedi and my daughter got a mani.i thinkbthey are over priced though so I will not be going back. It coast me $108 do a French manicure and a pedicure. Ridiculous

They are getting a one star because the lady was nice. When she was finished with my pedicure I decided to not do a manicure. Its very frustrating to spend $38 on a mediocre pedicure.

I heard so many good things about this place and was super excited to get my first set of acrylic nails. I ended up getting this and was pretty disappointed. Uneven shape across all nails, uneven paint, nails bleeding days after, he didn’t even clean up the underside where left over acrylic remains. He just was going as fast as he could to get the job done. I paid $85 (I tipped $20) for this.. I understand this may be a one time thing but I was super disappointed. 😕

Made me pay $45 for a pedicure but they failed to complete the FULL service. They DID NOT give me a massage nor did they use the scraper on my feet when it was INCLUDED. They did NOT discount me! Now, the NAILS!😐 The OWNER did my nails and STILL messed it up. I wanted a nice design and Kevin (the owner) said he couldn’t do that SIMPLE design.. then proceeded to almost charge me $85 for simple yellow nails with gel.. so i did regular polish and they charged $35 and still is lumpy and ugly for a simple color.. if 0 was an option, i’d choose it 🤷‍♀️. they were very disrespectful when i kindly asked why i was being charged $45 for a service i didnt fully receive.. they basically called me a liar and tried saying they did the service but i was watching the whole thing . this is ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN.

Run. JUST RUN. First off very aggressive not gentle at all. Ive been getting my nails and toes done for 10+ years and probably the worst place honestly. Got pedicure with gel on my toes and she caused my toe to bleed because she went too far down on the cuticle. She cut my toe nails way way wayyyy too short. The underneath of my skin was longer than the actual nail and the acrylic is very bulky. And I paid $77 dollars for a pedicure that was originally $35 they said it was $15 extra for acrylic and $12 for french. NEVER EVER EVER have I been charged for french tips?? Its half of my nail being polished that should come with it. The tips were pricey but I didnt mind. Also polish started chipping not even 12 hours later? Overall WORST PLACE.

This place is worth every penny!!!!!! When we got there the place was pretty busy but they were still able to get us in pretty quick. They also did a quick but amazingly beautiful job on my nails!!!! I’ve gotten my nails done all over America and this place has to be my favorite so far!!! 10/10

If I could give zero stars I would. This has been by far the worst experience of my life. First, I spent 3 hours trying to get my nails done. No one apparently could do the design I asked (pretty simple btw) and 4 people including the manager got their hands in my nails. The work they did was poor and not good. My nails look ugly and messy. By the next day, the gel nail polish started to fall apart. When I realized, I called and let them know my situation & explained I soon needed to be at the airport. They told me to come in & they’ll fix it. I came and showed them my nails, and manager “Kevin” told me to sit by one of the rude guys that also did my nails a day before and told me “someone will help me”. I sat and waited 30 minutes, NO ONE even acknowledged me or even looked at me. At this point, I left because I had enough and I was running late. I am so disappointed, I spent money and two days trying to get my nails good for my holiday trip, and instead, I got these horrible nails and experience, and not once, I received an apology. Instead, the manager was arrogant, rude, & the same as the rest of his staff. One of the guys that also did my nails was the worst of all. He was horrible, mean, rude, messy & by far the most incompetent person I ever met. Please don’t come here to waste your time and money…. It’s not worth it!

Though this came up as Winston Salem, I actually went to the Burlington NC location for a pedicure and fill in. The atmosphere is always welcoming as well as the staff. My pedicure was so very relaxing and the tech was very good. My fill in was done after which was quick and neatly done. I will continue to go to this place.

The salon is immaculate. Ive never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be served. But most importantly is the talent and professionalism of the staff. I’m giving this 2 stars because I did like my nails and everyone was nice however I did get an infection in my finger that was severe after leaving the salon. The gentleman doing my nails was very sweet but did accidentally nick the side on my pinky. After leaving the salon I loved how my nails looked but my finger was tinder. I just assumed that it was from the accident as it’s happened before so I didn’t think much about it. The next day I noticed my finger had swelling and was very warm to the touch. Again just thinking it was sore. A few days later I could barely touch my finger it was bright red half way down and had swelled up almost double in size. I then Had to go to the doctor and explained that I got nicked at the salon during my visit and that this occurred right after. I had puss pockets under the skin and oozing out from under my nail. I was placed on antibiotics for a week and helped the infection but unfortunately by the time I went to the doctor the skin around my nail had died and started to peel away. This was my first visit to the salon itself. I don’t want anything in return from the salon but to make aware that you never know what is on the tools you use for all clients. Please just be more cautious and clean all Dremel pieces before each client.

I called and made a same day 3pm appointment. Walk inside are welcome, but I was doing acrylic and wanted to make sure I was seen. I showed up early, was sat at the table on time, and left there for 35 minutes with no interaction from others. They only had one tech who could do acrylic nails and she was doing a PEDICURE behind me while I waited. I walked out after 50 minutes of waiting, 35 minutes past my appointment. They tried to stop me and say 5 more minutes but I wasnt about to have my nails rushed so I could make it in to work on time. Absolutely ridiculous that they cant prioritize the only tech for an appointment. Will not be returning and will spread the word because that was ridiculous. Anyone in there could have done a pedicure but instead I was sat and left for 35 minutes after my appointment.

Went in on a saturday afternoon and was helped pretty quickly, after being seated for pedicure no one ever talked to me again. Love the pedicure and the time that was given but after getting gel polish done the lady filed each nail after the final seal. I have had my nails dont enough to know that wasnt the right thing to do but non the less paid and left tip. Will give them another opportunity might have been an off day for the technician.

They tried to charge me $70 for a full set with black gel polish I said why is it so much?? the guy said the owner told me to charge you that, and for the color length and shape each $5. I gave him $60 and left I won’t be going back here. Also took 2 hours.

I am nauseous. My daughter and her friend went there tonight. They have homecoming tomorrow. They both got their nails and toes done. They charged my daughter $130.00 & her friend $120.00. They were robbed and that is sad. I don’t care how good the nails look-that is TERRIBLE. No amount of product costs that much or the labor. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and have been for 20 years. I realize prices have increased, but that is NOT ACCEPTABLE for one nail visit that will last them two weeks at best. I’m disgusted.

When I got here early Saturday morning the place was packed but they got to me very quickly The staff members take the time to understand your preferences and tailor the service accordingly. Got a gel pedicure. The polish design isn’t what I wanted and what I was after was basic. No one would listen to what I wanted. Very rude and inattentive. Foot massage wasn’t a massage. The whole reason I went because I’m 9 months pregnant and my feet hurt… Just hot stones nothing else. It says on their menus they offer free drinks so I asked for a beverage and I got looked at like I had 2 heads. When I was checking out the woman was hovering over the machine to see if I would tip.. I did of course but I left half of what I would normally would have left because I wasn’t impressed. Will not be going back.

I love Lee. Ive been following her for few years now. When she works/moves to another shop, I still make sure i find her and keep doing my nails bc shes that awesome. Shes so sweet and friendly. She takes her time and dont rush paying attention to details.

I came in never knowing what to expect. I was attended to immediately and provided the one of the best ever services. The woman Lan that did my pedicure today was amazing. I just like going into places and feeling important when Im spending my money. Oh and they offer you a variety of beverages.

I really wanted to like this place because of the reviews, but I called as soon as they opened to make an appointment for 2 pedicures in the afternoon. When we arrived, they got us to the chairs after 15 mins to soak our feet; but 45 mins after the appointment time, they still haven’t started and have not said anything to us, not even offer us a drink while we waited. We understand it was busy, but we called ahead to come in at a specific time and they said yes. We ended up leaving because we had other appointments, and none of the staff even acknowledged us when we left. I guess their business is successful enough that they would not care if we do not come back.

Visiting from out of town. When I saw the reviews, I figured I would have a good experience….. Negative!!!!! This lady rushed my entire $60 pedi service. She didn’t efficiently cut my toenails, didn’t bother to cut my cuticles, did a half butt massage, and burnt my legs with the hot towel. Not to mention she was extremely rough with moving my feet around.I will never return and will tell my family and friends about this place. Maybe it depends on who you get but trust, I don’t care to give them another try.

Friendly Nails has been my absolute favorite place to go Associates do excellent work on both medi and pedi. I really loved how my nails came out ! The staff is amazing and they did an amazing job and they are very friendly. They may take a while and it gets busy but I think they are worth it! I just make sure I book right when they open or during the weekdays :)

Took my mom and aunt to get pedi’s i wasnt even shown a service menu before the man started took maybe 15 minutes not if that. My mom had to fix her own toes, 20 dollars for gel and did a gel without showing any prices. Definitely will not be coming back and staff acted like the didn’t care about any of the feedback and did any even worse job after getting the feedback. Not to mention left nail polishes out and messes and not even clean.

Worst experience! I went to get a relaxing pedicure but little did I know the make that was doing my pedicure would even up doing the fast pedicure to man. It was less than 20 minutes and he didn’t even put lotion to massage my legs. Also very rough on my skin. Cut my toe nails uneven and I have clear polish on my skin from him painting my toes. Wouldn’t not recommend if you are wanting a relaxing experience. Not worth $70 dollars.

Not the most pleasant experience. Walked in, wasn’t greeted immediately, stood around as I have never been to that salon before, so didn’t know anyone and didn’t know my way around. Told to pick out my color as I wanted a full set of acrylic nails. I then waited about 40 min to get in a chair. The girl didn’t speak to me only asked how I wanted them shaped. I told her square with a slight curve, so square oval. It took her a while just to put on the nails. I know some people can be new, I’m not sure if she was, but would be nice to be told. I knew once she started I would be there a while. No conversation at all. She chatted among her co-workers which is fine, they all do that. The place was hot, I was sweating. Then as she shaped my nails, they were not nearly the shape I wanted them. But too late, what was done was done. She clipped the sides of them which I had never seen done before and when she was done it look like I had “coffin” nails which I hate. So to make a long story short, I was unhappy with a service that took too long and too expensive. Oh and her 6:00 appt showed up at 5:45 then I noticed she proceeded to speed up so I then felt she rushed me out of the chair. I will not be going back as I feel like I was not appreciated. I will take my business elsewhere. So much for “friendly” nails.

Lisa was my mani/pedi technician. She was gentle, kind, and friendly. My mani/pedi looks magnificent. The massage that came with the pedicure almost made me fall asleep. It was very nice.

Sorry, I can’t remember my nail tech name. Her station was to the left at the end near the sink. This was my 4th time coming to this nail salon and I have had great service every time but this time it was AWESOME because I tried something new and it was beautiful.

I usually don’t leave reviews unless I find it necessary. If you love your eyebrows, please don’t go to this place. Not only they are super expensive but they do not know the meaning of taking time for their customers and perform service correctly. I went yesterday to do my eyebrows, the lady that did them was so rough, my eyelids hurt from how hard she pulled the strip, she didn’t even take 5 min to do them. Not only that, but honestly I don’t have the fullest eyebrows, so that’s why I ALWAYS tell whoever does my eyebrows to just clean it up, but that lady left just a thin line of hair as eyebrows, I was so mad. Like I said, if you love your eyebrows avoid this place. Poor service, it’s unbelievable.

I had a gift card here and honestly, this was probably one of my worst experiences ever in a nail salon. I understand they were crowded but my nail tech was so rude. I came in at 2:30 today and got in My chair at 3:05. I had an older man who had a beanie on. It was such an awkward experience with him being rude saying RELAX or pushing one finger out of the way. I know he was in a rush but the way this experience made me feel had me in tears almost. I didn’t feel like even talking because I was so uncomfortable. And he didn’t even ask me if I wanted my nails shorter etc. honestly I didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask him for shorter nails. As a first time customer I will never go back to this place and I don’t suggest this place unless being yelled at and being rushed is your thing.

‼DO NOT TRUST THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS! THEY ARE ALL HACKED! ‼️I move to Winston Salem recently and try to find a good place for my nails. I went to this salon last month because they have the highest rate on google. Everything was ok, and their price was high actually. However, it turned out so bad, the acrylic was so thin and lifted after 5 days. I am not a picky person so I just skip this salon to find another one. After a while researching, I see their reviews go up strangely. There are 15-20 good reviews come up EVERYDAY & AT THE SAME TIME. No doubt, these reviews are definitely FAKE. I know they do this to make their business better, but this shows they are NOT HONEST and LIE on us! A thousand of good reviews in one month is crazy. This salon needs to upgrade their skill instead of cover a nice but fake coat on them.

I drove out of my way to get here based on the good reviews the day before my wedding. I asked for the picture on the right, a basic almond shape. My natural nails were longer and a better shape before the manicure.Forget the color, the shape is what bothered me. He was nice about trying to fix the shape but he was just shortening the length I had requested. After an hour I decided to shape it myself at home. They could tell I wasn’t happy with it and offered a very small discount. I cannot believe I paid 60 dollars to leave with worse nails. I could have gotten a better manicure with press ons from the store.The dip was incredibly thick and lumpy. I can’t even take a proper picture of how misshapen they are. The shape and length are different between my left and right hands. It just seems amateurish. The only fix they offered was to remove all of it. I didn’t have the 30-45 mins to have them soak them off and then leave with weak, drilled down, cut off nails. Super disappointing. I agree with a different reviewer that the sheer amount of vague, good reviews is suspicious. I usually never make a scene and ask for discounts but this was just a ridiculous experience. I almost left in tears and am hiding my nails in all my wedding photos.

I’m usually not the one to leave reviews, however my experience was so bad I felt obligated to let others know.It was literally the worst nail salon I have ever been to. When I arrived, they talked amongst themselves and seemed confused as to why I was there, even though I called prior and even asked for a pedicure when I walked in. After I was seated, the lady filled my water up and it was cold. Then, she began to cut every single toenail all the way down to the quick - except my pinky toenail, which she said was too little to cut - so she didn’t cut either of them at all. She didn’t even make them even, they are all different shapes, some rounded and the other left jagged and pointed. After that, she didn’t even trim around any of the nails at all, nor did she cut back my cuticles.Then, when it came to the massage there was none - she poured oil on my legs and that was it. The “hot stones” were also cold. The only thing that was hot was the hot towel that actually felt nice.I was so frustrated and upset with my experience that didn’t even let her finish to paint my toenails. I paid and left - to which they charged me $35 for literally just cutting my toenails - I will definitely never go back here, as it’s just a huge waste of my money. I could have done a better job myself and it would have been free!

I would have liked to be seen at my appointment time and be serviced to what I requested. Design is ok. Not what I requested but it will do. Sure to upcoming appointments I wasn’t able to get what I wanted done. In my opinion that is not good customer service especially in the first visit.

The salon is beautifully designed and very clean. I feel very comfortable and relaxed when I have a foot bath and manicure here. The staff member showed me how to take care of my toenails in detail, and talked very happily. I am completely satisfied with the nail care here

Friendly nails is not friendly! I went with my sister and niece to get Mani/Pedi’s. They were understaffed but still try and fit as many people in. I would have rather them say sorry we can’t fit you in right now. Instead we sat for 40 minutes then when we were going to leave they told us to sit in the chairs, they were ready. We sat for another 30+ minutes. Ready means we sit and have a tech there at the same time.The staff wasn’t friendly, nice, or helpful at all. My tech was texting on her phone and had the attitude as if I was bothering her on her day off. She did a poor job on my pedi and thank gosh The Woman, who I assume was the owner took over to polish and actually cut my cuticles. Just the way they treat the customers is enough to never go there again. I’m sure when it’s not Sunday and more places are open they are slow! It just sucks when you want to have an enjoyable time it gets ruined by something so simple as customers service! Especially when your in the customer service business!

I tried this place because it was closer than my normal spot. Absolutely not, I shouldn’t have wandered off. I literally had to reshape my nails when I got home. The colors look like the picture I showed the nail tech but that’s because I picked them out. But the shape wasn’t what I asked for, it’s quite messed up in lots of places, it looks half done. I asked for sns and they used gel polish. The man who did my nails was very rough just jerking my hands around like a rag doll. I just wanted to leave and I should have. Honestly nothing was what I asked for except the colors, which again, I PICKED THEM OUT! I’m assuming they “won” that “best nail salon” a long long time ago because this is definitely not. I have never in my life received a worse manicure. Overall it just wasn’t a good experience or atmosphere. I could’ve done a better job myself and I wish I had done them myself and not wasted $75. I’m absolutely staying at my normal place from now on. Please let this be your sign to run far away

I was hoping to love this place since its so close to my house but honestly I was disappointed. The woman who did my nails was really aggressive and pushy. Felt super rushed the whole time. No hand massage or anything. Then my pedicure which is typically my favorite part being a mom who enjoys her mom time was super rushed as well. I got a special pedicure that cost extra and she massages my legs maybe two minutes total. Super hurried and aggressive. Definitely unhappy. Spend $100 and will be returning to my regular nail salon.

All was well for the most part until the end. The staff were welcoming and friendly when I walked into the establishment, the salon is very cute and clean. A lady in the front directs me to table 5, where an older gentleman sat. I have to say I was apprehensive because, in my experience, the older nail techs tend not to do good work, and not be as trendy or understanding. The servicemans name was Thomas, he was very unpleasant, with not one smile, and not an ounce of customer service; however, he did a great job with my manicure and fill-in, for which I thanked him several times.I decided to go with a clear sparkle polish, something I gravitate towards often because I like to see my natural nail, especially when the craftsmanship is up to par. This man dabbed the polish on my nails, it was thick and lumpy. If you know anything about sparkle polish, you know the techs normally file it down before the top coat so that its not rough and sharp, this man did not. He then proceeds to walk me to register for payment, NO cuticle oil, an offer of water to drink, and no lotion whatsoever, with thick, sharp, lumpy nails. When I said something about it of course its lots of non-english communication that begins and a far worst attitude than before.I feel like when people dont do something to your liking the 1st time, its normally pointless, and again, my perspective hasnt changed.I HATE WASTING MY MONEY
