We booked the 110 minute couples massage and had a great experience. We frequent this location and are always happy with the service and experience. My therapist Johnny is great, balancing trouble areas with relaxation. Alyssa was pleasant when we arrived and checked out.

Victoria at the front desk was very nice and professional. She was very accommodating and allowed me to walk in and be seen within less than 15 minutes. The establishment smells amazing and they have great add-on services for your massages or facials. My massage therapist was Willie. She was professional and gave an excellent massage! I always love coming to J Sterling for a massage for facial. They take great care of me and always ask me about my concerns. Shelby performs amazing facials and Alyssa at the front desk is great as well. This location is always clean and the atmosphere is calming and relaxing.

We have been here many many times. One hour before our couples massage a week ago we were informed something had happened to one of the masseurs and they couldnt fulfill our time slot. I understand this was out of their hands and we were offered another appointment but nothing to make up for the fact that they cancelled on us. No extra services, no nothing just a cancellation and rescheduled at a later date.On the rescheduled date i was promised my masseur would be John whom ive had before and was very excited, i even called the day before to make sure i had John. Upon entering for our rescheduled appt i was placed with a completely different masseur. She didnt flip me over at all during the massage, i was on my stomach the whole time. it felt more like she was just lightly rubbing circles into my back for an hour. It was probably one of my worst massages at J Sterling. I was also frustrated as no extra services were offered for cancelling on us last minute, or changing my masseur without my knowledge.With their price increases and lack of ability to follow through, i dont think we will be back.

Ive been going to J Sterlings in Altamonte for a couple years now. Always welcoming and great service! I went here last night because I had an issue with my neck and shoulder that needed to be addressed immediately. My therapist who took care of me was Marissa. Excellent, knowledgeable, and did a great job relieving me of my pain. The reason I am giving this review 4 out 5 stars...I was not made aware that Marissa was trans. Which I have no issue with in most situations. But, for me personally, in private settings, such as getting a massage I prefer an ACTUAL female. Going forward, as a suggestion, I would STRONGLY request that on the j sterling website that it be known, under the therapist bar, who is trans and who is not. By doing this it will allow others who are still uncomfortable with the trans idea to be given the choice if they wish to be serviced by them. It will also allow any confrontation, of any kind, to be avoided in the long run.Overall, again, Marissa did a fabulous job with the massage. I hope to be back again soon. Thank you always for the health and care that you provide!

I came in J Sterling’s and was welcomed with smiles by Alyssa at the front desk, and she was very sweet. When my aesthetician Jayda came, and walked me to the back, she made me feel VERY comfortable my whole facial. She made me feel really relaxed and made sure she told me what exactly she was doing before doing it. I loved it and I would be back.

Initially, I had some confusion when booking a couples massage for my wife and me. The instructions regarding the use of a gift card were unclear, and it made me feel uneasy about booking online. Unfortunately, we couldn’t schedule our preferred day as they were fully booked when we called.However, the company reached out to me the next day to address the issue and assisted in scheduling a new visit. I’m pleased to report that our experience on the new date was much better. Our massage therapists, Bela and Riley, were excellent and provided a wonderful couples massage.We opted for the 50-minute session and discovered that experimenting with add-ons can take time away from the main massage. If you’re considering add-ons, be aware that they might reduce the overall massage time. The hot stone massage was decent, though I wasn’t fully aware of it until my wife confirmed it. I had different expectations for this addition. The foot scrubbing was nice, but if youre looking for a more thorough foot pampering, I’d suggest a dedicated foot massage with scrubbing. On the other hand, the scalp massage was heavenly and a highlight of our visit.Overall, despite the initial hiccup, the company made efforts to rectify the situation, and we ended up enjoying a good massage experience. I appreciate their customer service and would recommend giving it a try.

I came as my sister recommended the spa based on her great experience and massage. I was skeptical at first, since I had been disappointed by other spas in the past couple of years, but so glad I gave it a try!The spa is clean, nicely decorated, in a quiet area and not too cold. You are welcomed as you walk in and everyone there is nice and attentive.I found a great therapist (Sadiel) but he is based on the Winter Park location. He sure does how to give a good deep tissue massage and takes care of your problem areas and helps you feel better in no time!I will definitely be back!

I have not yet visited the Lake Mary location so this review pertains only to the Altamonte Springs location.Location and appearance: This spa is located very close to the Altamonte Mall. If coming from Central, be careful when making a left as the turn merges quite abruptly with the secondary lane. The property itself resembles that of a converted ranch style home. You may miss it if expecting a storefront appearance.Inside: If you are looking for a boujee spa with a high-end waiting area, this is not that type of spa. It is clean, quiet, but is somewhat dated appearance.Treatment rooms: Each room, I believe there is one room for the esthetician and four to five therapy/treatment rooms, each with his own theme (aka beach). To my best of my recollection this was my fourth visit, with all services, prior to the most recent, being strictly massages. I have never requested a particular therapist. I had never felt one massage therapist stood out more than other… all being good. However, my most recent massage was with Donnee, and he was unique. He just had a touch or technique that was slightly different than those prior. Sometimes I get massages and it feels very routine, almost memorized. Donnee’s massage was fluid and seemed organic, in that my body dictated maneuvers more than it a strict routine. He was quiet and respected my preference for no to minimal talking, made a point to target key areas of concerns, and even found a few that I didn’t realize needed attention (base of my head). Some massage therapists can try to “educate” or diagnose, which can be frustrating and takes away from the goal of relaxation. Donnee understood the job, and he executed very well. I will most likley be requesting Donnee for my next massage.Also, for the first time, I decided to try a facial as they had a last minute opening. On a whim, I accepted the slot. The facial was with Jayda and it was fine. I probably won’t every do another as it was just meh.Ease of setting appointment: All of my appointments have been done online via their online scheduler which honestly is one of the top reasons I return. I can create select my own services, choose a particular therapist, or even just by female or male… date and time, etc. They offer a point system and also I believe a membership if you are someone who requires or desires regular or routine massages. I find that their prices are beyond fair and respectable. Sometimes you pay an overinflated price to cover a salons massive overhead expense. I rather see my money go to quality therapist and great service.

Charri was wonderful! I visited the altamonte springs location after a recommendation from a friend and it was amazing. The desk staff was great going over options, and Charri was incredibly knowledgeable about specific techniques to help release my pain and tension. I had a combo deep pain/relaxation session and it was awesome, I will be back.

Ran across this little gem by Google. Had an amazing experience with my first real massage at 36. I had the 90 minute infused reflexology deep tissue massage with Ayden. He was awesome and knew how to read me. Literally melted into my bed when I got home. Will make it a regular weekly go to. Prices are the best.

Lets talk about the therapist, Charri is amazing. Her intuitive nature is a phenomenon. She asked about my work and looked at my posture, as well as taking time to address my top complaint. When I got to the spa, I was physically done. Everything was tight, and I couldnt relax. This was by and far a blessed time for me. I walked out in a massage daze, feeling more like myself again. If you are looking to gain healing and to have a great therapist, Charri is the one!

So I went to J sterling spa, with a pulled muscle I couldn’t even bend half way down. The receptionist Kat went over what I needed and the right provider. Which in turn gave me the perfect therapist that not only knowledgeable but got to the core of the problem and let’s just say instead of not being able to touch my toes my therapist Rae did an intense job and know I can touch my toes and I feel brand new. Thankyou J sterling!!! I’ll be back in 2 weeks!!!

Ive been coming to this establishment for 4 years now. Every time my sister visits I make an appointment for us. This visit how ever has changed my opinion and outlook on this business. I was manhandled with excessive force,roughly. I continued to explain to the man that he was being to rough. I explained that I wanted to relex,soft strokes. After about 20 min I couldnt take it any longer.I told him no more. He dropped my leg which he was pulling on. I got dressed and went to the lobby to find my sister in the waiting area. The front desk could not find her appointment and suggested she come back another day. Ive been making the same appointment for us for 4years.I wouldnt recommend this place. They have no concern for the well being of the customers. I wanted to relex not be in a wrestling match. After the massage I had a hard time due to the pain inflicted on me.

I got a massage by Ayden and it was the WORST experience. Yes I got deep tissue but he was extremely rough, I asked him to do less pressure and yet still it was very painful. The massage was not relaxing or fluid at all, it felt like he was rushing and manhandling my limbs around. I was very uncomfortable the whole time. I almost told him to stop altogether but then I remembered they asked me to pay/tip at the beginning BEFORE I started my service, which I will not be doing again. I wanted a relaxing massage after work but instead I wanted to cry in frustration.

I have had massages done here at J Sterlings for many years but my experience today was the best massage Ive ever had, and Ive been to resort spas here and abroad. Maxwell was my therapist and I booked a 2 hour massage. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and skilled massage therapy that I needed. I have never fallen asleep in a massage before and the thought was actually crazy to me, but Maxwell put me to sleep for about 20 minutes before it was time to flip over. Maxwell read my body like a book and knew exactly what I did for work and other habits of mine just from touching my muscles and he used techniques to relax and and release all the tension. I will be back, specifically to see Maxwell, very soon!

Great couples massage experience. We live in Tavares and it was worth it to make the trip. Very professional massage therapist that met both of our needs.

My sister gifted me a massage after she had a great experience with a massage therapist named Willie.We always recommend such places to each other and our expectations are rather high. So when she said Willie was great - I believed it!Willies massage was great; I prefer a bit more silence during my massages but not a big deal- the front desk receptionist and the reception area wasn’t anything amazing. I don’t know if I will be back as the entire service was just mediocre.

I have had massages from J Sterling for years now. I enjoy the customer service of the therapists, reservationists, and the receptionists. One of their most notable employees is Sam. She was exceptional booking my reservation. Additionally, the rates have been affordable even with the price increases. My only complaint is that I cannot afford to come every day!

I always go to the Altamonte Springs location. They have a lot of rooms and space, and it always looks clean. I always ask for Johnny. Ive been getting massages throughout my adult life and he is honestly the best massage therapist Ive ever had. He has a lot of knowledge and experience and really takes care of his clients. Make sure to book a 90 minute so you really get all of the benefits of a proper massage therapy session. Alyssa the front desk receptionist is also really helpful and friendly.

The best massage I have truly ever had. Francesca has 34 years experience and it really does show. It wasnt a one size fits all type of body massage like I am used to, she knew exactly the type of pressure to apply and where. She is very familiar with anatomy and massages each pain point differently, nothing hurt during the entire session, but I still felt immediate relief and that balance is very hard to strike, I have found at least. I have never had a go-to masseuse, I do now!

Alyssa was super helpful and understanding with the booking.I’ve been dealing with some back and hip pain from a car accident and Vanessa did above and beyond and gave a phenomenal body massage and stretching. Amazing massage therapist and front desk workers! Everyone is super friendly and helpful! There prices are reasonable as well and the space is super clean! I just wish they would have more information available or bios about their therapist (I.e years of experience, schooling, areas of expertise, reviews, etc.) in case clients want to explore options. John and Maxwell are AWESOME and super skilled! My parents LOVE going to Willie but they also have a high tolerance for deep tissue and pressure.

The Spa Associate Sarah was very friendly coming in. I switched job which I’m sitting at a desk most of the time I booked a deep tissue massage and Rae was AMAZING!!! My body feels so relaxed n muscles not tight anymore.

Had an appointment at the Altamonte location on 12/26/23 for 10 am. Received a phone call at 9 am stating the therapist was in the ER. So they offered to move me to Lake Mary so I could keep the same time slot. Arrived at Lake Mary at 9:40 am and checked in with receptionist. She stated therapist would be there by 10 am. At 10:05 am the receptionist stated that the therapist had vehicle issues and would not be in til 2pm but that there was another therapist that she would book me with within the next 30 minutes. 10:45 am the receptionist tells me that the third therapist is unable to fit me into her appointment schedule. Stated someone from management would be contacting me within the hour to make things right. 25 hours later, still no word, call, text, or email from J Sterling Spa. Would definitely not recommend any of their facilities. Very Disappointed. Dan H-LUPDATE: Owner has contacted me on friday and promised to make things right with a 50% discount.

I called these people at least 4-5 days in advance to setup a prenatal appointment for my girls birthday as a surprise since she’s been in so much pain. They had no problem mentioning that if I canceled there’d be a full $100+ cancellation fee within 24 hrs or less of the scheduled appointment. They call me less than 6 hours of my scheduled appointment and canceled the whole appointment due to no practitioners. They did ask to reschedule and tried to send me to another location but I was very clear when I booked this that I needed the specific time I requested because everything was planned around it and they assured me the slot would be available. I wouldn’t book with them I run a business myself and that’s highly unprofessional to any client/customer.

Visited the Altamonte Springs location for a couples massage with my wife where we paid additional for deep tissue since the purpose of the visit was regarding shoulder to back pain, which was explained before getting started.Maxwell was my massage therapist and was decent however very light hand wise and it definitely was not a deep tissue massage that I received. I would not revisit this location. Great for relaxing but fair from the purpose of my visit. My 8 yr son does a fair better deep tissue massage, extremely disappointed

Its a decent place.. the massage was wonderful and the facial was ok. Im used to more comfortable places but this will do. You get what you pay for. You can hear traffic and noise with all the windows. You also have to pay extra for extractions. Im an esthetician and majority of places already include that into their services. If you dont want extractions thats fine but there shouldnt be an extra fee for basic extractions. However the massages are great and Ill go back for that.
