Massage Envy

This is my first time at Massage Envy. The front desk provided great customer service, very friendly and answered my questions. My therapist, Samantha was awesome! She listened about the areas that needed more attention. I definitely will return for another awesome massage by Samantha. 😊

Id normally give this location a 5. But tonight, at 9pm, I responded to text about updating payment. I am 7wks post shoulder surgery and I asked about a possible freeze on my account due to built up credits and mentioned while I can have massage, I may not be comfortable enough to lay flat on my back.My rate had gone up and I never received a notice. I paid to catch up. Then, she proceeds to tell me I need a doctors note. Why? Only I will know if Im going to be comfortable on the table, which I stated. She informs me its a location policy and I request this in writing. She asked if she could help me any further, I asked for her name and she hung up on me. I called back, she never bothered to answer. Im sorry, whos the client? And why did she feel the need to tell me no when I stated I would speak to the manager?Customer service? It doesnt exist much these days. Im a licensed RN, if I ever treated anyone like how she treated me, Id be out of work. Shameful.

Beware -Therapist are of high-quality. Customer service/front office is trash. Make sure youre being charged the correct amount. At the time I check out as well as after the fact.

The staff were nice on arrival offered water smooth transition to getting massage not a long wait. The change of clothes transition took a little long but the massage was on point after putting back on clothes the water was needed and wasn’t offered that’s my only suggestion but the experience did make me want to go back to getting monthly massages again smooth experience.

I came in 15 minutes late for my appointment and the facial therapist cancelled my appointment and charged me for the service. I told the manager I have waited for your rooms to be ready and your therapist to regroup 15 minutes and 20 minutes. This accommodation and generous understanding have to work both ways not just one way. If I wait patiently and kindly for your therapist to be ready, be flexible to accommodate your customers as well.

I’ve really been debating on writing this review for a few days. My boyfriend and I came in about 4 days ago, they had scheduled us in last minute which was amazing! They were also super accommodating when I asked if my bf and I could switch therapists (he had never had a massage before and I didn’t want him to have a deep tissue therapist for his first experience), even though they normally don’t do that! Now onto the massages…my bf LOVED his massage therapist. She was gentle and relaxing and accomplished which is exactly what he needed. My therapist, Bradley, was also great. He was knowledgeable in what he was doing and what I had needed. I had asked him to work on my back , glutes, and hips because that’s where my areas of pain were. But when we got started, he really only focused on my shoulders, armpits and neck. At first, I was confused as I had asked him to focus on these other areas, but thankfully he explained to me during and after the session why he chose to focus on those areas. And let me tell you, I feel immensely better. My back isn’t as sore, and the carpal tunnel I had in my right wrist, seems like it’s basically gone.All in all, whether you’re on vacation or living in the area, I highly recommend this location for your massage therapy needs.

First massage ever & I don’t think I can go on without one monthly anymore. My therapist was Danny & he was amazing!! He made me feel super comfortable & was also phenomenal at his job!! 12/10 :) So much love & respect for what him & the others do!!

My schedule had changed, so I decided to cancel my membership. I walked into the facility, I was provided two pieces of paper by the three girls at the front desk, I filled out the tedious questionnaire, signed off on it and left. One month later, I’m charged $65 again. now they’re telling me they want me to fill out this paperwork again. Just be very careful, if you think you’re gonna cancel on the first shot, you better also take your credit or debit card off your account. They’ve got no problem charging you even after you cancel.

I came 15 minutes late for my appointment and the facial therapist cancelled my appointment and charged me for the service. She wanted to sell me the idea to buy the next slot and charge me for services twice. she did not have anyone after me, she had planned her break after my session and that is why she did not want to take me for my appointment because she was going to be late for her next client; however, she was willing to sell me her break time and see me. PUZZLING!! yeah exactly. Poor performance.

Unfortunately, I could not make it to my appointment. I was told to rebook I had to pay an additional $20. I had no issue with this but when I called back to pay and reschedule, I was told that I was charged for half of the massage. This was not what I initially agreed too. Not even willing to try it here now.

I had a great experience when I visited this location. The receptionists helped me very quickly and politely. After I filled out a form I waited until my appointment time.Samantha was my therapist and she did a great job! She addressed any spots I wanted her to focus on and she made me feel comfortable which was a big part since it was my first massage. I definitely recommended her.I see that a majority of the bad reviews where with the front desk associates. Personally, I they were very helpful, I even forget to use the gift card I received and when I called them they let me know they could void the charge that went to my credit card and do the transaction under the gift card which was very nice of them.

Had my first massage with Matthew who did an AMAZING job working on my neck and back. I highly recommend him!!!!

Ive been a patron at this location for a few years and I keep coming back because the services are superb. The front desk staff are always kind and eager to help. My masseur, Kenny, has been awesome in every aspect since my very first massage. He is highly skilled, professional, and has great massage techniques. Im impressed that he is customer focused and consistently strives to exceed their expectations. Although theres another Massage Envy 5 minutes from my home, I prefer to drive 30 minutes to the Altamonte location to receive a unique experience and the best service. I highly recommend!

Business charges exponentially more than pre agreed upon amount before service. Business asks for gratuity before revealing massive 500% up charge in total. Preys upon unsuspecting customers who will not stand up for themselves.

I booked a massage one month in advance for my birthday. Today I received a text message that I needed to reschedule my appointment to a later time I called to reschedule the appointment now the appointment is no longer available and now I have to reschedule for another day when I originally booked a massage a month in advance, because I wanted the appointment done on my birthday. I’m really unorganized and unprofessional would not recommend. When I called the receptionist did not care, and there was no sympathy for the inconvenience of me having to reschedule for another day. I purposely book the massage a month advance so I could have it done on my birthday and now I have to go another day and request more days off of work to convenience them. Really disappointing and I would not be going here again.

I have loved this location for almost a year now! Everyone at the front is always so friendly and helpful. I’ve seen a few therapists here, but I’ve been scheduling with Pitcho because he’s amazing! My first session with him I had lower back pain/inflammation that he fixed like magic. He is very personable, always remembering what we worked on in our prior sessions (even if it was months before). I almost don’t want to leave him a good review because then his waiting list will just get bigger lol. But he’s the best!!!

I am in town and I visit FL often but had never been to the massage envy HOWEVER , I will tell you the Petrea was AMAZING, absolute amazing ! I will come back when I am back in town as a priority. Thanks you so very much for a great wonderful massage and Erika at the front desk was just a sweet and helpful as anyone could be. This will be the place I come to see Petrea and Erika for sure ! I was gifted a massage here and I had a 60 min massage from Irie and she was incredible! She was really thorough with my problem areas and he really good technique. I would highly recommend coming to see her!

I enjoyed every service I ever received. The staff is so welcoming and Ms.Erica has been a gift from God, she truly knows each client and makes sure to give the best advice on which service to try. She is an amazing leader, the front desk has been very informative and always makes sure to tell me about any specials and new add on’s or services. They all are outstanding but Nancy always takes the cake when it comes to customer service. Between Ms.Erica and the front desk staff I’ve never felt more welcomed and loved. I love this establishment so so much, they truly go out of their way to make sure your experience is nothing short of amazing. The top masseuses from my own personal experience would be Petrea, she was my first ever massage therapist and Esthetician. Not only did she deliver a relaxing massage but a high quality facial as well. She noticed my skin issues and advised on the best products in house to use. She really listens to your needs and expands on them to make sure you are comforted and taken care of. Michael, he was amazing in delivering a great massage, very educational. Very knowledgeable about the body and how to work knots out in just a few mins. Angela, Straight to business, she takes what you to tell her your biggest concerns are and then she gets right in to addressing your concerns. She was truly a sweetheart, she even checked on me to make sure I was okay multiple times to make sure I was okay through the entire duration. All of the massage therapists are more than experienced and capable of delivering you an excellent experience. I love them all. If you’re looking for somewhere to just get massages you’re looking at the wrong place, but if you’re looking for somewhere that will provide you an excellent massage, outstanding service, and wonderfully crafted add-ons. Then trust me friend, this location is the best.

Front desk personnel are always pleasant and helpful. Therapists are skilled; listen to your issues/concerns and provide tailored services for great outcomes. Be coming here for quite a while and would recommend.

Best experience ever! It was my first time getting a massage and I was extremely nervous, but my therapist made sure to keep things professional and make sure I was comfortable. She ensured that she took care of all the areas I specified, we were even able to connect a little bit through light conversation! Definitely will recommend family and friends to come by and visit.

Pitcho is the best massage therapist. I always leave feeling very relaxed & stressed free. He knows exactly what I need without me telling him my ailments. Im his #1 fan, after his mama.

I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early for the front desk receptionist to tell me that I was not scheduled for that day at 4:30 on Wednesday. I called on Monday asked for my regular Massage Therapist and set the appointment. The receptionist that I spoke with set my appointment and like old school I wrote it down on my weekly calendar. The receptionist at the desks told me that I was going to be charged 70.00 dollars for missing my schedule appointment the day before. I would have never scheduled for that day because I had several Doctors appointment that day. The supervisor told me that I was rude and asked me not to come back again. I know that I was upset and very vocal but they the staff told me that I was wrong. I will be calling the Corporate office.

They need to re-train their front desk people on phone etiquette... Ive been going there for years and cant take the way they handle cancellations because THERE people call off, ridiculous. I mentioned cancellation of my monthly massage since 2014 and the phone girl couldnt wait for me to give her my email so she can get off the phone. If I were the owners of this place and heard her, I wouldve fired her on the spot....loyal customer gone, this is how places go out of business.

I had the worst first experience. An appointment was made for me same day and I needed to change the time due to having to put my dog down from a morning appointment to an afternoon appointment. The manager said absolutely not and it will be 100% canceled with no refund because the girls work off up straight commission. We continued to go back and forth while showing no sympathy for my situation. I was more in shock by how I was being treated especially in my circumstance.I then rescheduled my appointment for my dog appointment and showed up on time for my massage. The manager advised she canceled my appointment because she assumed I didn’t want it anymore.I expressed how upset I was having to reschedule my appointment for my dog and still got there on time to be REFUSED service. I will never go to a Massage Envy ever again. They have no compassion nor professionalism.NS 8123 - The managers information

Lauren gave a fantastic massage. However the pricing is misleading. I was told that because they are a franchise, their pricing does not have to match whats advertised on the Massage Envy website when you book. Somewhere there is an asterisk saying you should confirm the price by calling the location directly. This location charged $40 more than advertised for a basic massage. No pricing given at check in or anything posted to reflect pricing might be different than shown online.

I had a customized facial with Pricilla, it was wonderful!Honestly did not know what to expect since Ive never had a facial at Massage Envy but it was a treat. The Zen room is a nice touch to get you relaxed before your treatment and the front desk staff was very helpful.Now to the actual Facial. I really appreciate Pricilla taking her time to get to know what my current routine was and suggesting changes based on what she observed (she was really polite about it all and encouraging). She helped me decode some issues I was having on my nose and even took time after our session was done to walk me through some products I could benefit from and gave me honest recommendation about ones I wasnt ready for. She was gentle yet addressed and treated my skin for what it needed. I left looking great and look forward to continuing getting my facials from her.Overall the way the facial was conducted from beginning to end was nice and relaxing. The eye masks to shield you from the steam and light was great, it helped you relax more and overall very professional. Talked when needed to but also let you have some quite time to enjoy and relax everything.I ended up signing up for a membership after I was educated on all the services and costs, its definitely worth it so Im glad I signed up and will continue to come back to this Altamonte Springs location.

Priscilla gives the best facials! She always has great advice for my rosacea issues and will always evaluate my skin to see what will be the best regimen before each session. My skin looks better than it ever has because of her. Thank you Priscilla!Angelic is a great masseuse. She is one of the few that will let me schedule 2 hours. I always ask for a relaxing massage, not to hard since Im a wimp and she always delivers, even if it takes more time with the crazy knots she finds. I always leave relaxed. Thank you Angelic!

I love it !! It was my first time having my massage done by a male. Dominik was very respectful and extremely professional masseuse. I was very impressed with his work. He used the right pressure for my back and never NEVER made me feel uncomfortable. The office is clean and The staffs is very friendly. I will definitely be back soon.

This office only cares about collecting your monthly fee but not honoring your visits. In the past I’ve had 8+ paid sessions accrued as I was too busy to use them. They then call and tell me that I need to update my card info. I explain my debit card was compromised and I was waiting on a new one but wanted to use one of my paid for visits. They wouldn’t allow me to make any appts until I had provided new card info. So I canceled with them! They weren’t going to honor the visits I already paid for while I’m waiting on a new card. Outrageous!Fast forward, my husband kept his membership. My back was hurting so he schedules a visit for me since you can pay $10 and transfer an unused visit to someone else. After my massage is complete they ask to me pay and I explain the account should just be changed the $10. I’m then told you can only transfer to the same person once every 6 months. So once again they’ll take your money but not honor your paid visits or let you transfer them. FYI my husband is now canceling as well.Save your money and go with another company.

I never leave poor reviews but this location has gone downhill horribly. Have been coming here for many years and while my massage with Shirley is always great, the receptionists are always rude (so was the manager) and unorganized, and you will be quoted a difference price from everyone who works there, not to mention they constantly mix up your account with other customers. Last time the receptionist was on the phone, never even looked up or acknowledged me, but then needed updated paperwork which wasnt even noticed until the actual therapist and I were walking back to the massage room, cutting into the beginning of my massage time. Used to be clear member and non member rates, now all of a sudden they charge you double if you are not a member. Will never be returning to this location. J Sterlings around the corner is much better, way more professional and consistent with their pricing and actually treat you like a valued customer. After all, massage is about relaxation and eliminating stress, not causing it.

Everyone here is amazing!! I have only had amazing experiences with every therapist I have seen. The front desk staff are all sooooo sweet and I love that they all remember me when I come in. Michael is the best & he truly has a healing touch! He truly cares and I love going to see him. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

First time massage at Massage Envy and I was blown away! All staff members are kind and friendly. Vanessa was AMAZING. She focused on the areas I asked for and did such a great job! I left feeling so much better!

Thank you Steven at the Altamonte Springs Massage Envy for the BEST massage I have had in my entire life. He found all my problem areas and gently released the pain through his wonderful techniques. I am so very grateful for Stevens therapy and to Massage Envy for employing such an experienced and thorough therapist. Erika and Alisha greeted me with warmth and welcomed me to the spa with professionalism and kindness. Such a great group of people to assist with stress and pain relief.

Shannon is the absolute best! She always listens to what my problem areas are and does a great job at relieving them! She is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and such a great person. I was in a car accident and she has been a tremendous help in my recovery.

Horrendous customer service! Front desk refused service upon arrival. Appointment was for 11:30 and the “woman” at the front desk canceled my appointment because she assumed I canceled. Arriving at 11:28 only to be told that it is canceled after driving up there and wasting my time only caused more stress. Thankfully cooler heads prevailed and a full refund was granted. Seek other options as this place is more stressful than relaxing.

KENNY IS A DREAM! (Ive met with a few others here and they meant well but Not a DEEP tissue), Kenny knows how to do a serious deep tissue massage!!! I have intense throbbing to pulsating (in a bad way) pain from a breast cancer history that was unbearable (and it lingers) on top of that I run around for hours up to 16-18 a day on concrete and asphalt in heavy boots with gear on it definitely weights on ones body! and without massage envy in altamonte (clean and convenient) and without kind, patient, concerned, thoughtful, Professional, and Prompt staff like Mr KENNY I wouldnt be able to keep my peace... its an expense that is life necessary for me... A relief I NEED!! to function. Truly, I appreciate him and this place, thanks so much!!! xoxo (the staff up front is kind as well :))

I received a gift card for my bday in February last year right before Covid happened. Along with my gift card I had a $40 off coupon. Fast forward to September of last year I decided to book a massage with them. Supposedly I was already in the system although I have NEVER been there before so they would not honor the new customer price. I was told I couldn’t use my gift card towards my membership. Then I was told I couldn’t use the coupon because it expired a week before I made my appointment. Then when I came in to have my massage the massage therapist shorted me 20 minutes of time. She was very eager to leave apparently she had somewhere else to be so she rushed my appointment. When I called and spoke to a manager they offered to Credit me an upgrade to my massage with some scented lotion that I could’ve brought in myself. Fine. I continued with my membership because one thing I can say is Angelique is amazing. December somebody booked me an appointment that I never booked. I didn’t get a reminder phone call. I know I didn’t book this appointment because it was on a Wednesday and my children have early day on Wednesdays and I am a single parent who’s the only one that can go and pick them up on that day. I called to speak to the manager a week ago because I want to be reimbursed my massage credit for that month. It’s been a week and the manager still hasn’t called me back. Worst experience ever at this location, not worth my time, not worth my money. I would much rather support a local small business owner than this franchise who obviously only cares about collecting money and not the satisfaction of the customer. I will be blocking my card from being charged by them and will leave this review anywhere it can be seen.

I went in on Tuesday 2/15/22 to make an appointment for my girlfriend.I even asked the girl to write a nice happy birthday gift on a card.When my girl went on 2/16/22 for her 90 minute appointment. She was charged even after I specifically gave them my card the day before and told them to charge me because its a gift.I had to leave work early and demand them to void her charge and charge my card on file.This couldve been taken care of at the moment my girlfriend told them its a gift from my boyfriend.Ill never recommend this place or any other massage envy locations in the USA. The staff in the front are lazy and dont communicate with each other.

I had a massage this morning and enjoyed the experience very much. Wouldn’t change a thing. Shirley used the right pressure as requested. My first time visiting Massage Envy and I was very much pleased with my visit. Can’t wait for my next appointment.

Ive been a member here over a decade. My favorite therapist is Sheena! I highly recommend her, as shes versatile in doing what i need (deep tissue) but can also do more relaxing, which shes done for my mother. The only problems Ive ever had in this location is with the people up front with little things. Ive noticed high turn around, so its to be expected as new people have to learn. Therapist who have good client pools tho stay and they are what keep me coming back.

I had a 60 minute session with Saming, and it was absolutely fantastic! She was so sweet and endearing, and has such a calming energy. She said shes been doing massage for 7 years, and it definitely shows in how confident her bodywork is. Ill definitely be coming back to see her!

I was so disappointed after 5 attempts of appts at this place , i felt the need to leave a review. I use to go to winter park location but after covid my go to therapists had left. So i decided to try Altamonte location as closer to my house, Big mistake. I have scheduled 5 appts for massages and facials and only received 3 appts . 1 was cancelled then after me trying to reschedule it , appt got delayed then still had my appt after a bunch of back and forth..Then, 2 other separate appts i scheduled in advance were both separately cancelled on me last minute , lan hour or so before appt with diff excuses. Neither excuse was something that was an emergency that just came up, yet they waited until last minute to call me to cancel. NO offer to reschedule me w same person or someone similar or attempt to get me into someone else same day. 3 issues with scheduling services there out of 5 appts in barely 6 weeks. Not very professional. I use to get amazing facials once a month at massage envy … now i just sat through my second generic facial at this place. Barley washed my face, barley scrub to exfoliate, didnt help with circulation of the sinuses and fine lines as requested , and they don’t remove the large eye covers to inspect for any blemish on eyebrows, sides of brows or nose bridge etc. They Don’t wash or clean below the chin , don’t treat the jaw line.This was my experince with 2 diff facialist at this location.I did have a great massage there , but 2 horrible facials.I even upgraded to the neck add on of the facial and they still didn’t cleanse below my chin and barley touched my jaw line . I have a huge painful, pimple on my jawline that went ignored. But half way through the facial they then applied creams to my dirty neck and chest. When i asked a second time why she didn’t cleanse my neck and chest before applying the creams she responded “we never touch the neck or chest area during a facial “ um but I added on neck and chest area. “Ma’am that is just to apply the cream on it then” Does anyone else put an anti-aging treatment moisturizer on dirty unwashed non exfoliated prepped skin ? I had to run home and wash myself off and basically redo my facial myself . I have never felt so dirty after a facial. I also told facialist my areas of concern “ fine lines, acne, puffy eyes, pigmentation issues” The persons response “so is working on hyper pigmentation that important to you ?” Um YES ! Yes it is that’s why i mentioned it , plus you can see it on my face . Also i was SHOCKED that the person did NOT wear a face mask during my facial nor the front desk alert me of an option for mask or not with facilaist. I have no idea if she was vax, but i am fully . However to be sitting breathing in same space with same person in my face for an hour is uncomfortable. But i guess if she didn’t care if i was vax without a mask then it is what it is… just one more thing that made me shake my head at any kind of cleanliness or professional protocol.Yet they have Lysol spray at front counter and hand gel , but no masks . Tried to give this place a chance, might try the last facialist they have there and see… as the first 2 we’re disappointing. I will say one facialist was super sweet even though not the best facial. The other one was just rude and no personality.I have a feeling I will be cancelling my membership after I use up my credits, sad as it’s been 7 years of loyalty to massage envy.

Shannon is an amazing massage therapist. She has great technique and is very attentive to her client needs. I highly recommend her! The staff at this location are friendly and helpful.

Love this place, staff is awesome and the therapists are too. I have been a massage envy member for 8 years and refuse to go anywhere else.This specific location has gone above and beyond to accommodate me and I greatly appreciate it. Louis at the front desk is awesome, he always remembers me when I come in and the therapists are amazing too. This location is hands down my favorite.Oh and regarding someones negative review... Why would you need to bring a service dog to massage envy? I can honestly say I wouldnt want a dog running around this place and I am an animal lover!

Rip off. They tell you your massages never expire but when you cancel your year membership and have credit left over they dont tell you they expire 2 months after you expire. I always had to wait and was jipped twice for my full amount of time. Got a half hour one time when it was suppose to be 50 minutes. Until they got their new system of timing I never had the full 50 minutes. They screwed up and appt time before and never even had it in the schedule when I made it on the phone. Would not recommend. Go some where else. Waste of money and time.

I can’t say enough positive things about Amy. She’s the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. In just two sessions she has given me more shoulder mobility than I’ve had in years. I cried of happiness because of the increased range of motion. I highly recommend her!

I was told we where gonna have the best of the vest I asked for a regular massage focus on my back. Was not relaxes at all it was actually painful didnt know when it was suppose to start feeling good since it was my first massage ever. 😩 found out later she was doing trigger points, but I never asked for that. The problem was in my lower back not my upper. Honestly was shook at the end I was in more pain when I left then when I came.

Milton did such a great job! Highly recommend, I went with someone else and her therapist finished 8 minutes before the hour, Milton however, finished 2 minutes before and maximized my full massage, thank you so much!

This was my first time having a male therapist OMG Jaime was over amazing! From start to finish he gave me a first class massage. My best ever, if you are looking for a great massage I highly, highly recommend Jaime... He is the best I ever had!

Do not go to this location. I am a member at Massage Envy and they are not accommodating. Priscilla was very rude to me on the phone. This location particularly is very nonchalant when it comes to solving your concerns. I have had two subpar massages there. The therapists are not as good as other locations like Winter park or Orlando. I would suggest going to another location. They also will not accommodate reschedules or cancellations even in 24hrs.

I ALWAYS look forward to my monthly massage with Larry. It seriously has worked wonders for my back and neck pain. The entire staff there is exceptionally friendly and I always feel very welcomed. Larry is my go-to guy when it comes to massages - warning though he only likes to do deep tissue massages so if you want a relaxing Swedish massage, hes not your guy. But if you dont mind a little pain for some next day HUGE pain relief - hes DEFINITELY your guy. I highly recommend him to anyone. Hes great at getting the knots worked out and hes great to chat with during the massage. I have zero complaints. But if you want Larry - just be ready for someone who is really going to get those kinks worked out and who also likes to joke with you during the massage.

Best Massage Envy I’ve been to hands down! Massage Envy Altamonte Springs always provides a warm and relaxing experience. The staff are wonderful. I get a massage here approximately every six weeks and I love it!

Front desk office are really bad I already hav session and she make me wait on my time of service and it was 20 mint already pass and then my facial was totally rushed she could done every thing later after service i m a member bt really bad not happy

Staff is always professional and welcoming.Only complaint is around the Massage Envy model. Its impossible to get in contact with Corporate to provide feedback about the website. Thats not the fault of the individual location though.

Always a great experience when I visit! The staff are always polite, extremely helpful and informative. Their facility is clean and relaxing. I love my therapist and I highly recommend the membership, you wont be disappointed.

I just Luuuuuv Massage Envy in Sodo!! The atmosphere is so very tranquil and relaxing, complete with dimmed lighting and mood music. And my massage therapist Lee is a Midas...he has the golden touch. After a session with Lee you feel like softened butter. Every ache, every tension completely disappears. I love it there so much that I bought a gift card for my son-in-law for a 1-1/2 hour session for his work-related muscle tension, and I know that he is going to love it there as well!

I had been a client for almost 9 years. I have a small service dog that is certified. They denied my civil rights underThe Americans with Disability Act¨. They refused to let my 5 pound service dog sit in the tranquility room. For the record, she was in my lap and not on ANY furniture. I was asked to remove myself and the dog by the manager. Here is the kicker, there wasnt ANYONE else in the room! Part of the Disabilities act is that Business May Not: Refuse admittance, isolate, segregate, or treat this person less favorable than other patrons. Clearly they did not care when I showed them the appropriate documentation and made a copy for them. I had been there many times and had informed them that she was a service dog. The owner Rene was not there but I was told by the manager that the instruction was given to her by Rene. I called the corporate office and they said they would look into it. No call back from corporate but I did receive 3 phone calls from Rene the owner at 8 pm, 9:30 pm and another early the next day. Inappropriate time to calls. Messages left were garbled and hard to understand. No communication via e mail or regular mail. They lost a long time client over a petty power play. If my dog were a lab and I had a cane w/ a red tip indicating my blindness, nothing would have been said. Service dogs come in all shapes and sizes and provide many functions, just not opening doors or leading the blind. Not all handicap/challenges are visible to others and a small service dog has its place in this world, just not at massage envy. Registered with the Florida disability department as well. Please do not give this establishment your money. They caused me great emotional trauma and excluded and embarassed me in public. I pray they never know what it is like to have special challenges. Shame on them and shame on Rene who is the owner. Please support local licensed massage therapists. They will give you a full 60 min hour massage unlike the 50 minutes you receive there. Michael is the bomb! I came in last minute tense from a stressful work week and he took such good care of me! I will be back monthly to this location now just for his amazing massages!

Stay away!!!! They sell you a year contract then tell you that they are booked and you still have to pay because you signed their terms, and that you need to go to another location. They are rude and its complete BS. Queen even had the nerve to hang up on me. She then called me back and told me that im not allowed to cancel??? Rudest service I have ever experienced. There is nothing relaxing about this!

This is my favorite location by far. The staff is so professional and welcoming, I could tell they truly are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend Massage envy Altamonte springs. I had kinks in my back that they got out, so I’m never going anywhere else.

Called and made an appointment the day before, they took my credit card information to hold my appointment. I show up for my appointment and was told I was not on the list. All he said was Im sorry and they had no appointment available. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!! I called Hand and Stone in longwood and they got me in the same night, excellent customer service and therapist. I will never recommend Massage Envy or will I ever return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Altamonte location is the best! The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Michael is also an amazing therapist. Highly recommend!

Made an appt online, received confirmation for 3:30. Drove all the way to the place and rude lady at front desk said she didnt have it. Didnt even try to help me out. This place is worthless , just another money grabber.

Lovely Ladies willing to fulfill every desire in making Life Wonderful. I went in looking like the hobbit. I emerged looking And feeling like Cinderella. Hey, the facials ROCK. MASSAGE=TOTAL BLISS.

Wow just got a call saying I canceled a session but saying u did but gave notice but because they were not able to fill the persons slot they I get that but then they said we can give you another therapist. And then the manager I think it was hung up on me like wow great customer service what a shame

I called a week in advance and made a appointment. I left my phone number and all appropriate information that was required. I arrived to the facility and was informed that my appointment was cancelled and there was no way they could fit me in.

Massage envy offers massages and facials at a reasonable price with a spa like environment. I’ve been a member for years and always get my monthly massage for health and relaxation!

My credit card was charged for a service I did not receive. Do not leave your credit card on file with them because apparently they can still charge your card at any time without your consent. I will never attend another Massage Envy for this reason.

Visited from out of town and the staff were all super nice from booking experience to my massage therapist. Everything was great professional and relaxing.

Monthly massage appointments are cherished! 90 minutes of relaxation and kneading areas of concern.

Happy front desk staff and enough different therapist to find just the right massage. The facial are really great for the price.

Ive been treated well here at this location Each time there was an issue the person in charge contacted me either through the phone or through email and was able to resolve the issue. And for that reason I am still a memeber

Had my first facial there today and was very disappointed . It was more of a facial massage. I called to clarify and was treated very short. I work in education and would never recommend there. Very sad.
