We were gifted a Groupon to this spa for a couples massage. Trouble started with scheduling, the Groupon directed us to schedule online, but there was no way to schedule that way. We ended up calling in and asking for an appointment and placed one for a Saturday. However, we got a text confirmation for a completely different day and time and had to call them back to get it adjusted.Day of, as soon as we walked through the door. We checked in and only got ‘you’re the Groupon, right’ and asked to sit.A couple came in right after us and paid upfront and were immediately taken back for their couples massage despite it being past the booking time for ours.We were not able to start until 15 after. First, they led us to a set of bathrooms and said nothing about what they expected us to do. We just awkwardly shuffled out after we said we didn’t need to use the restroom.We were then led to a massage room and told to get naked, no bras. She then left us and we made our way into the beds. My bed had a couple of stains of unknown origin, but didn’t look like blood so I did not say anything.The massage started off OK, but one of the technicians was clearly very sick and had to leave the room every 5 to 10 minutes so she could cough and hack deeply and loudly in the hallway. She was clearly too sick to work. Luckily both technicians were wearing masks.There was no consultation before the massage and at no point where we ever asked if we have any pains, aches , or any other areas that needed attention. There was also never any check-in while the massage was in progress to ask if things were OK and we were both surprised when our hair was undone and then redone to include part of the scalp. I would not minded a scalp massage, but I would expect somebody to at least ask if it’s OK.Overall, I would not recommend the spa. It is not just that the technician was sick that day or that there was trouble scheduling, but overall the cleanliness, the customer service, and the overall lack of professionalism was jarring compared to the several other places we’ve been to in the past.
Best Salon I have ever been to. They really put all their energy and time into the mani-pedis and even gave my girlfriend and I Champagne for her birthday. They were super friendly and I loved the massage chairs. Would highly recommend.
Mina was wonderful. She took care of my massage, pedi & mani. The spa was very clean, and the staff was professional.
I had received a Spa Manicure and Premium Pedicure, it was over the top experience @ the Arlington Heights location. I had two staff members doing the sugar scrub and the mask wrap on my hands and feet with massages. The nail tech paid attention to detail and was shaping and working the cuticles multiple of times before painting my nails both hand and feet.She was very thorough and meticulous.Too many occasions, I have nails techs rush through the job and leaving me dissatisfied with the amount of money spent on a rush job.This was not the case.At the end she had made sure my nails were dried and covered my toe nails with small plastic baggies, put on my socks, helped me put on my sneakers and tying my shoe laces.I am grateful with the care I’ve received. I would highly recommend this place and support your local business.There are two things to keep in mind when booking. They can only accommodate two clients at a time because there is only two chairs. Some of the staff members is limited in dialogue. They can understand English and respond effectively just in limited words.Please do not be discouraged they are really great at doing their job.
Owner harassed me on her personal phone number because I did not get a massage after she denied my groupon. Even if i didnt book it through groupon (which i did) she said I could not use my Valentine’s day special on Valentine’s day. Apart from all of that, her conduct through text was extremely unprofessional. Stay away from here!
Got a Valentine’s Day Groupon, went to the place to use it, and got denied for it. Lady said that I had to book it through Groupon. Every time that I would go book it through Groupon it would lead me to their website. So that was wack. Lady also said we couldn’t use it today, totally weird especially when it was a Valentine’s Day Groupon that I was planning to use on Valentine’s Day. Lady was trying to argue with us for no reason to top it off. Overall bad customer service and lady was trippin.
I went with my wife on my birthday here and was just blow away. we couldnt have been more pleased. Massa Spa is an absolute oasis. From the gorgeous rooms to the high end finishes throughout, this place has a retreat-like ambiance unmatched by any other spa in the area! We cant wait to go back..
Wife and I did the hot stone couples massage. We greatly enjoyed. We were in the same room with two people working on us. They did an amazing job. We will be back for sure.
Massages were fantastic. Very quiet, clean and relaxing atmosphere. Massage therapists were strong and great pressure to my problem areas. Loved the hot stones at the end. Will definitely return!

I got a 60 min Swedish massage at Massa, which was so relaxing and wonderful! It’s super clean and peaceful. Mina did a great job! This was my first time here but I will definitely be going back.
Mina is the best, I have been here about 10 times and she is my favorite, but they all do a good job!! New location is beautiful.
