The massages were fantastic. The location was clean. The biggest let down was when I called to book 2 massages I told them it was for my husbands birthday and it was a surprise. The lady on the phone said she had noted in his file not to call or email him for verification. Well guess what they called him and emailed him at least 6-10 times. WHAT A HUGE let down. His Birthday surprise was ruined. I told the people at the spa location and noone could even apologize for ruining his surprise.
I scheduled an appointment on June 19th at 1:30pm. I called at 12:24pm to reschedule to due to being sick. Which the policy online says I would only be charged 50% and I was ok with that. I tried to helpful by not getting your staff or therapist sick. However, I checked my account and my card was charged 100%. I call back and spoke with April and basically she stated that they were independently own and they had to pay their therapist. So it seems to me y’all make up rules despite what the policy say online. Very unprofessional
I didnt want to post anything. Because I felt why? Whats the point? I wasnt satisfied...so why comment? But this location was serene walking in but was NOT the best experience for my first time around. My masseuse Sunday was okay...but he talked for the whole hour of my visit. Again it was my first time, but little did I know I can request for silence; which is what I needed.I am a counselor, and I talk all the time, and use my hands ALL THE TIME from typing. I communicated the main two areas which were my hands and FEET. But unfortunately, those were not fully treated. My hands were forgotten and I had to remind him that I put my hands on their cause it is really what hurts. The therapist spent and extra 15 minutes past my appointment time just to do my hands as a throw in. The pressure applied currently has me in pain, and my spine is pinched. I cant express how I walked away in tears, lost as to what I am suppose to feel. But I was reassured by family and friends. That was not suppose to be the results. 😔I tipped him well, because I truly have a huge heart...I feel like, just as a waitress, they live off these tips. But $95 was a waste. And I wont be returning to this location. Im upset because Im in pain 😢 and I shouldnt be. I called management today and will await a follow up for reimbursement. But till then I will keep taking Tylenol for the pain.
My massage therapist and everyone else were super nice but this massage was not good. For one, I booked with her because the website said she specialized in deep/firm massages. This was the lightest massage I have ever had. I should have asked her to apply more pressure but after 20 minutes of waiting for her to I was just over it. I told her my shoulders and upper back were really tight. I have a lot of knots and light pressure just doesn’t do it. She probably spent 5 minutes actually trying to massage the knots out.I left so upset that I wasted $95 and all of my tightness is still there. She gave me advice at the end saying that it feels like my neck wants to lock up, so I honestly think she just didn’t know how to get my knots out. I’ve been to the location in Buckhead and my massage therapist there did a great job of actually trying to massage my knots out. This was 60 minutes of just rubbing on my body.
IMPORTANT REVIEW TO HELP CUSTOMERS NOT BE TRAPPED INTO SERVICES DUE TO BAD MANAGEMENT AND EVEN WORSE COMMUNICATION! I RECOMMEND BETTER MIDTOWN MASSAGE BUSINESSES AT END! First, I want to communicate that my therapist was wonderful. However, even though it was a top five massage for me in the last five years I will never return because the management of this massage envy location is so horrific. I wanted it to be clear that my therapist was wonderful and my review has nothing to do with her. The management here failed to inform a friend of mine that her credits that she transferred to me and four other people would expire. That was a grave mistake in communication that cost my friend money and time, as well as myself money and time. When I arrived to have my massage and informed them of my credit, and was told this policy of expiration, they offered me absolutely nothing but a decreased cancellation fee, even though my friend was never informed of this policy and I of course was certainly never informed as a first time massage envy customer. Of course I had the massage because it was not my therapist’s fault. I have now received two calls from massage envy, asking me how my experience was, which is also a sign of their terrible communication and management. They did not have a record that they spoke with me on Wednesday of this week and then proceeded to call me again on Thursday. Considering how much availability there was when I booked my massage there is no way they are too busy to properly log that they have already contacted me about my issues. Apparently, the woman I spoke to on both days lied about her position, claiming to be a manager and using other employees identities. Hugely unprofessional. And the corporate manager I was told would contact me Wednesday never did until today claiming I requested a call back, which I did not. I was going to only leave them a direct review until these additional horrific miscommunications occurred wasting more of my time. On all of these calls, they never once offered to make things right with me by offering me money back, not even a coupon to return and use their services. Although I think it is clear that I would have never accepted a coupon as I intend to never return here. There are other great massage opportunities in the Atlanta area that I would 1000% recommend over this location. Check out: Georgia Sports Massage, Art Of Touch, Rebalance Spa, and Ode To Wonder (for facials) in Midtown.
I was booked for a 60 min massage at Massage Envy, Ponce de Leon while visiting Atlanta. It was with Sincere and I’d recommend anyone, and everyone to go with him. He’s punctual, and professional but also an amazing conversationalist who makes you feel comfortable because of how respectful he is. I can’t wait to go back on my next visit to Atlanta! Thank you, Sincere! :)
Thanks to the One Star reviews here I was able to cancel my massage and book with Georgia Sports Massage. I was saved from a cancellation fee before I was trapped as I also received a friend’s transfer credit that expired by the mysterious policy no one learns of until they are booked and trying to redeem. I also recommend Art of Touch in Midtown as well for another alternative business to visit instead of Massage Envy.
I had a great experience! Everything went smooth and was very comfortable. I could see the glow in my skin right after! Staff is very nice ! 100% recommend!
BE CAUTIOUS of the Membership! VERY DIFFICULT TO CANCEL!! There are lots of catches for trying to cancel. Even when you submit the cancellation form within 14-days of your next charge, and they give you a phone call back stating they received your cancellation and are sorry to see you go, they will continue to charge your credit card! Get a confirmation of the cancellation in writing. Good tactic on their part to leave voicemail (never thought of saving the voicemail). Be ready to contact your credit card company and dispute charges.
So this long-time massage franchise is dotted across the country, offering cheap massages in reasonably nice facilities. You get what you pay for. I am a massage veteran and have a membership to a local day spa, so I know what a good massage is. I decided to try this place because my regular spa was booked up. There are a bevy of tall, good-looking men massage therapists here, and I am sure at least one of them are fantastic--my therapist was not one of them. The facilities are clean and modern, however. I arrived 10 minutes early - per normal massage/spa etiquette - but my massage started late and ended early. The overall massage was very mediocre. I paid for the foot scrub, and that was a joke. Dont buy any massage add-ons. If you want a good therapist, I suggest reading the reviews that name specific people. I noticed my guys name nowhere to be found. Lesson learned! This place is worth at least one try, just do your research and pick a masseuse with good reviews.
It is scam, they never cancel your member ship no matter how much you call or fill a paper work. They don’t let anyone take your sessions. Don’t sign up
I scheduled an appointment for 9am Saturday morning. I arrived at 8:50am. I proceed to walk toward the location and noticed an individual standing in front of the door. I asked if they were open and she said no. I looked at the door for their hours of operation and it stated that they open at 8AM. I received a call from Ms. April apologizing for the situation. I informed her that I drove far for this appointment and that I was a single mother who also paid for childcare to make this early appointment. The front desk representative Ms. Tahara did not arrive to the location until 930. I was very frustrated because this would leave me with about 15-20 minutes for a massage. This was very unfair to me as a customer and also very unprofessional. It shouldn’t be okay that the hours of operation shows opening at 8AM and the representative arrived to work at 930.OAN: When Ms. Tahara did arrive, she parked her car on the front row. As a small business owner like myself, I strongly believe that employees should leave convient parking for customers especially since this location is in midtown. The parking was not an issue (only a side note) that I would like to be resolved. However, not taking customers valuable time in consideration is an urgent concern.
This place is a scam! They have twice allocated me to a massage randomly and charged me for them. I even have notifications for massages enabled and massage envy usually has a policy where they call AND send a message prior, they did neither. They will charge you for random massages and their managers never reach back after you ask for a call back. Huge scam!
Youre in amazing hands with Cedric! The entire experience was great. Super clean, professional, relaxing environment.
I hate to leave a one star review, the massage therapists here are great. But the owner of this place is running a scam with the way memberships work. You pay monthly and you accrue one massage per month. The problem is it takes weeks to get in to see anybody and I have had maybe 3/4 of my scheduled appointments cancelled this year. If you cancel on them the day of, you forfeit your accrued massage, but if they cancel on you the day of there is no repercussion. Also during early 2020 / covid they were closed for several months but kept charging monthly. So I have all of these accrued massages that I will never be able to use. If you cancel the membership, you lose them all. Terribly managed. Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP.
JULIE IS A SCAMMER. Treats her employees horribly, management is money hungry and don’t care about their employees. Go to massage heights they are way more professional and pay their massage therapists! They’re therapist at the ponce location of massage envy don’t even get medical insurance, they don’t get payed time off, they come to work even when they are sick because they can’t afford to take time off. HORRIBLE PLACE. Do not support them, and no matter how many times they delete the bad reviews I’ll keep this one saved in my notes and will continue to come back as many times to report this because that’s how bad this company is! I can’t believe they’re still in business!
I cancelled my membership after having been a monthly customer of Massage Envy for more than a decade 😔
ZERO STARSI had the pleasure of speaking to the manager at Massage Envy on Ponce who was disrespectful, annoyed of my presence, and clearly hated her job. I called three times yesterday and they said she would call me back but I never heard anything. I called again this morning and she answered the phone, Massage Envy charged me for my monthly subscription after I had signed and emailed them my cancelation form last month. DO NOT SIGN UP TO BE ON A MEMBERSHIP it is a scam and they will keep charging you and shake their head when you ask to pause it/ cancel it. I walked in today hoping to transfer a credit to a gift card but the manager told me I wasn’t able to do that and she would need to charge me $10 to transfer a credit that I have already paid $65 for..even though the massage is mine.So far to date I have waisted $195 on massage “credits” and not one clear explanation or “sorry” that someone sent you a cancelation form and we actually never cancelled it. You also cannot use those credits if you pause your membership so you will most likely waste your money like me.Massage Envy likes to get as much money out of their customers as they possibly can. I have a had a membership for more than a year now. They do not explain the membership clearly and the customer service here is terrible. If you’re thinking of going here save your money and don’t. I never write reviews but in this case I had to. Do not waste your money here!!! You’ll regret it.
I booked a massage one week out. 4 hours before the massage I received a call that it was canceled. I was not given any circumstances behind the cancellation. When I inquired about receiving a credit for my wasted time and late cancellation, the manager raised her voice and told me that the therapist had a death in the family and for that reason my inconvenience could not be compensated.First, it is inappropriate to share personal details of your employee’s lives. Second, it does not matter why the cancellation occurred—the fact remains that I received less than 4 and half hours notice. That is a great inconvenience. Finally, the manager raised her voice at me when I tried to discuss the issue. That is inappropriate.I would not recommend this location if you would like to be treated properly. My understanding is that Massage Envy’s are franchised. I hope corporate speak to this franchisee about the way his employees and managers handle customer’s concerns.
WARNING READ MASSAGE ENVY CORPORATE REVIEWS. This company should be prosecuted. I went to Massage Envy to get a massage. The sales person, Calvin Wickman, tried to sell me a contract. When I noticed that it looked like a one year commitment I said that I was not interested until I had a couple of massages to try it out. He assured me that signing a contract was the best and most economical way, and that is what most people do. He also stated that the contract contained a 3 month trial period, so a longer commitment was not an issue. The contract seemed vague on the issue, so I asked for, and he sent an email from a Massage Envy address confirming that there was a 3 month trial period.I was not very happy with the quality of the massage, so two weeks ago I called up to cancel my Agreement before the fourth month started . I spoke with a sales person there who stated that I would have to wait till after the 3 month period was over to cancel. I disagreed and asked to speak with the manger who was out. After requesting a call back from her, which I never received, I called back the next day. I spoke with a manage who identified herself as Porcha. When I notified Porcha that I wanted to exercise my cancellation option during the trial period as promised I was told be that there was no trial period and that I was responsible for the year. I informed Ms. Porcha that I was told by the person that signed me up that I was promised a cancellation period, yo which she replayed Can you prove it. I stated that I had an email and forwarded on to her at the Massage Envy email address that she provided. The next day I was told that she was ignoring both the promise and the email which I received from her employee and she was not going to let me out of the contract.I tried to contact Massage Envy corporate offices and saw their reviews. The business is just trying to scam you; they try to nickel and dime you; you only end up with 40 min out of 60 min actually getting a massage, and the massages are not good anyway. Save your time and money. Go to a professional that actually cares about their profession.
Poor customer service and lack of professionalism. Please note that Mark P. The owner And Julie Meadows the manager are the culprits for the poor customer service at this location. Please read all the other reviews to see that im not the only one. Here is my review: Customer service and professionalism is really POOR at the Midtown Atlanta Massage Envy location. I had 9 un-used packages and I asked Julie Meadows the manager to transfer a package to my daughter on the same day I made the cancelation due to personal reasons but She never made the transfer. Julie then proceeded to ignor my phone calls. Whenever I called she was either getting a facial or out to lunch. I left messages for her but she never returned my calls until I complained to guest relations at massage Envy. Let me tell you that Customer service is very important in any business and when you have a client that has been with you over 5 years you will bend the rules to make a difference in that persons experience at your location. With that said,, I wasnt asking for more than I was promised. Julie told me I could share my packages at least once before my deadline and she never kept that promise. Mark the owner did nothing to help me. I guess its more important for his staff to be right than to make a potential returning customer happy. I am very very disappointed . I give this location a zero for customer service. 😒 and their lack of professionalism is even worse.
I have been trying to place my membership on hold for a week now. The manager Julie told me just to email her, I did. I waited 4 days before sending a follow up email and a phone call (left a message, no return call). I tried reaching her the past 2 days, she’s never there. No one ever gives her my messages. Now I got charged and have to dispute the charge. This place is the worst!
Upon arrival the ladies at the front desk was welcoming and professional. They checked me in and offered me some water. Very shortly after Natalie came to begin my massage. She was able to identify the areas that needed the most attention and I must say I Truly enjoyed my deep massage by Natalie!!!!! If deep is what you want you need to book with Natalie!!! Shes professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, and her spirit has a natural calmness.
I thoroughly enjoyed my massage with Grace. She’s an expert in massage therapy and totally knew exactly what my body needed. I never felt the type of energy that her hands gave off as she gave my massage. Shes definitely gifted. I made sure to rebook before leaving as her books fill quickly.
I was very hesitant to book at this location because several of the reviews were negative. However, I had a great experience here! The staff was very professional and welcoming. My appointment started on time and the atmosphere was relaxing and clean. I had Whitney as my masseuse and would definitely book her again. She listened to me and provided me with exactly what I asked for. I do not like super aggressive massages and she applied pressure that was therapeutic without being overly painful.
I hate that I have to put The OWNER of the franchise Calvin Wickham on blast, but he’s a proven liar and has been avoiding returning any of my calls. I had an incident regarding rescheduling with the active manager. I was given Calvin’s information. I called him and guess how helpful he was - NOT At all! He pretty much said what do you want and when I told him he said okay ma’am. But he never followed through. I waited 3 weeks on purpose, you know giving him a chance because we’re all busy. But my message was rejected again. At this point I’m still waiting for him to cancel both the memberships I pay for. It’s so sad because there are great employees there. But If the leadership has an attitude all the time and the franchise owner doesn’t care, why be in business? I just want to eliminate the membership and receive a refund. Because I still didn’t get the credit for the massage I went for nor did I receive an email confirming my cancellation. Good thing I texted him the moment after our call because he would probably deny he ever spoke to me. I’ll just post the card for now so that no one else wastes their time and/or money.
I had the 60-minute medium massage with Cedric. He was very professional and very good at his job. I would definitely recommend it.
If I had the ability to give them ZERO stars I would. During this pandemic EVERY other subscription service has halted taking payments because of the ability to use them. I was back charged 3 months of service all at one time!!! I called and was told by the front desk that my agreement says that I have to keep paying even though I havent been able to use any of the credits for 3 months. Unhappy to say the least. I immediately asked for my agreement to be canceled. I will give away the credits I have before I step foot back into this place again, and I will most certainly make sure that the thousands of people that follow me know to not step foot in this establishment also. I am so very disappointed.
This location is the worst. I have been a member for 12 plus years and this is my third different unexcusable incident with Midtown ME. First time I was refused a massage because I have Ovarian Cancer and need a Dr release, would not have been the worst if I hadnt gotten un-dressed and waited 25 min before she back to say she would not be able to provide me service without that release. Got the message release, then the same exact thing happened with the facial. Needed a separate release. Im sure they are protecting themselves but if so they should ask when you book your appointment not after the fact.Today I was told to hold my appointment they needed me to give them my credit card over the phone. When I indicated I was uncomfortable that and they already have access to my ME account. She agreed that if I didnt show that they would charge my account for a no show with or without me giving my card over the phone but that they would not book it without corporate policy. I have never had to provide any location with a card to hold an appointment. I asked if she was willing to lose my 90min appointment today and all my furniture business and she said yes.I instead called Toco Hills scheduled a 90 min there tonight no card necessary. Happy to give them my money and business instead. Hope you will do the same.
Interesting to see a lot of similar feelings about this location. So Ive been a member for two months and signed up at this location. My most recent appointment I showed up, checked in and sat for 15mins before asking what was going and my therapist was scheduled off for that. Whats disturbing about this is that I made my appointments at the location after my last service. I was given a lackluster apology and told that the manager would contact me, which hasnt happened.I still gave the location 4 stars because of the therapists, they are QUALITY people. Kathy and Marakah are my favorites. Kathy especially if you need a deep tissue.Although it is time out of your day Id say cal l and double check your appointment and therapist a few days before. Some of the front desk staff is vigilant and will call and tell you and rebook you, others apparently not so much.
The establishment was kept very clean. The front desk staff were oh so very helpful and friendly! While waiting for the restroom the manager heard it was my birthday and made sure I received a free foot scrub! My massage therapist, Justice, was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgeable & professional. All around I received the best experience I have had getting a massage in Atlanta. I made sure I signed myself up for their package deal & booked my appointment before I left. I have recommended many of my friends to this location.
This is the absolute worst company to deal with. DO NOT do business with them. They made an unauthorized charge on my card without my knowledge and when I tried to cancel with them they wouldt let me and lied and said they would just freeze my account even though I was told initially that the membership only was for three months. My bank ended up refunding me after I submitted a dispute. The next month since they couldt use my card on file they used a different card that I had used there before without my authorization and then they just did it again this month.
Stay away unless you want to get ripped off and receive the worse customer service ever. This location mistakenly created a duplicate membership for me and double charged me for two months. I have been trying to set this issue straight and get my money back for almost 6 months to no avail. I have come in in person at least 5 times, I have called countless times, and I have even been told twice that I had been refunded yet not money was returned to my account. The owner will not pick up his phone or return calls, but the one time I did get him on the phone he was only interested in arguing about the fact that he was going to call back the next day (I had insisted I expected him to) and guess what... he never called back. This place should not be in business.
I frequent 2 Massage Envy locations, with the Ponce/Midtown location being my 1st choice. There are 2 women there with FANTASTIC HANDS! Quanishia is my favorite. Just the right amount of conversation and solitude.Go see her!
As others have expressed recently, the front desk has missed the mark on customer service. I had an issue and asked to speak with a manager, the girl said she was the manager and was hired to talk care of issues like mine. After requesting to speak with someone higher up the chain she said there wasnt anyone, it was her. Before posting my review, I tried following the link which has been provided several times below to attempt to be contacted by someone besides this girl at the front desk. My service was 10 days ago and to date have not received a follow up. I am really disappointed since I had been a member for 6 years.
I’m not one to write a bad review, but I had to speak on this. The beginning of my 1st initial encounter at this location was just awful. They explained Otp when I made an appointment about the social distancing guidelines. I arrived 15 min before my appt. I called and the young lady OTP was so rude she even ask me did I want to pay now. I’m like I didn’t even receive a service yet. Plus I had a gift card so why would you try to charge my card. That kinda set the tone for what was ahead...Michael was my therapist. I waited in the lobby as he walked out his last appointment to there car and had like a 5 min convo with her. He came back in didn’t wash his hands and took me to the back forService. I give the service a 5. It was all pressure no flow. I mean the worst massage I’ve had in my life. So once the service was done (which I feel like he gave me a 40 min service not a 60 min.) He didn’t even walk me to the front he was gone, never Offered me water and never seen him again. I tipped him $10 b/c it’s just manners to tip someone that’s providing a service.Overall I feel like everything is rushed at this location and they really need to work on their customer Service skills. Will not be back...Furthermore I visited the Camp Creek location a week later and had a WOW experience and I ended up signing up for a Membership! Go see Marvin Guys he’s amazing!
I only put two stars because the atmosphere was nice. But me and my husband arrived early for our service. To wait and find out that my therapist was all of a sudden sick. This was a drag because I dont stay close to the location. A call should have been placed to advise that I need to reschedule. They went on to say my husbands therapist was there and would still perform his service. What sense does that make. No thank you its our anniversary weekend and we were looking forward to our massages! So irritating.
This was my first visit to ME and I must say, JUNIOR did an amazing job! It was just the right amount of pressure and he was very attentive to areas that needed a bit more relaxing. Who knew a deep massage could be so pleasantly painful.
Had an appointment, drove 45 minutes, when I arrived I was told my appt was canceled due to the technician was in an accident and was told no one else was available. Called manager, she apologized and that was it. No offer of a discount for my inconvenience. I will never visit this Spa again.
There are some great therapists at this location, but often I will have appointments cancelled with no notice at all. This is frustrating as my day is scheduled around the appointment. It is even more frustrating when it turns out the cause was the therapist was out sick all day or they were out for their scheduled vacation and the front office staff could have called days or hours ahead of the appointment.
Before checking out this location it has a lot of mixed reviews. I have been to maybe 7 different massage envy locations looking for the best therapist and Euriel is the best of the best. When she first touched my back i had to resist the urge to make noises. I have encounter two other therapist that were good but Euriel is top notch. Two others are really good but they make me fall asleep. I dont like to fall asleep during my massages.
I’ve had this membership for about 7 months and omg it’s the best investment ever. Ontario is the best hands down!!! He finds every nook and massages what you didn’t even know ached. Literally puts his all, elbows and all into the massage. I really look forward to my monthly massages
This has got to be the most poorly run location ever. I’ve been to at least 6 locations in 3 states and these guys are the worst. Cancelled appointments with no notice. I sat for 30 minutes after checking in... finally asked what was going on and my therapist no longer works there? What, they just weren’t going to tell me?! Not the first time this has happened, by the way. They have INSANE therapist turnover probably because it’s run so poorly. They’ve tried to weasel their way out of honoring specials. AVOID THIS LOCATION LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Normally food is fine but not so today, ask for chopped Greek Salad with no Chicken, get home just the opposite plus lettuce was wet and soggy.I guess next time I will have to untie the bag and check!!!!Chuck
I arrived 15 minutes early as suggested for new clients. The therapist was 25 minutes late.Total wait: 40 minutes. I was so irritated, I refused the massage. Front-desk folks never informed me; I had to approach them. They weakly offered a free 30 minutes for next time. There will be no next time.
Now that Ive calmed down, I can do this review. Last week, I noticed I had a couple of unauthorized transactions in my account.. (one for $90 and the other for $60) So after calling this location 4 times with not receiving the call back from the manager that I was promised by whoever answered the phone, I decided to ride all the way from Vinings to see someone in person.. I was told that the manager was not in.. so I explained to the person at the desk that I had been calling and not getting a response. She checked some book and told me that it probably wasnt written down and that she would leave her a message.. about 2 minutes later the manager walked in.. I explained to her what had happened and she proceeded to look up my account and inform me that she didnt see those amounts. THEN she said that my husband had been there on days that he had NOT. I AM the one with the account. My husband is not. I know exactly when he was there because Im the one who made the appt. and payed the transfer fee. Neither one of us has been there before or after that day. So as I was explaining that the information in the computer was false and mustve been entered incorrectly.. She then said Well , I have to talk to the person who had the visit (my husband) and said she was late getting to an appointment and she wouldnt be able to do anything about my $150 until next week.. if she could do anything at all. I agree with every bad thing about the management that has been mentioned in the previous reviews.. its horrible! And Ive been a member since 2011. It hasnt always been this way.. but Ive had a few account problems in the last few months that need to be rectified ASAP!
My experience had to do with the front office. I called today about my account. A fairly new front office clerk missed the mark on service recovery. She didn’t give me options or up sale or anything. Followed by “I feel like you are trying me” wow is that exemplifying customer service. Terrible customer service and this is where I supposed to release stress. After my 90 days I will not be continuing my service there.
My husband had an appointment for a massage but on the day of the appt he had an accident at his job, so he was not able to attend the appt. He contacted the office to reschedule and was told he would be charged half of the appt fee due to canceling on short notice. I called a spoke with a manager who was very empathetic and offered to resched him without any extra charges. Thank you Massage Envy for great customer service.
Xofia did my first ever acne facial from my mask breakouts and she was wonderful! She answered all my questions. Musah and the front desk ladies were super helpful and friendly. I signed up for the membership which is an awesome deal and it comes with so many coupons. Super happy!
I had an appointment scheduled, I arrived early and waited 20 minutes after my session started to be informed my therapist had not shown up. The manager Calvin apologized and told me the clinic would cover my next session and he rebooked my appointment and offered an add on service which I also thought would be covered. At the end of my session I had to pay for the add on service and had to use one of my membership credits to cover the hour long session. Very deceptive and very disappointing.
Gift card purchase gone bad!!I purchased a virtual gift card for a coworker last week and she has not gotten it yet!I have reached out to their service department twice and waiting to hear back yet.I will definitely not purchase online again.
Small but nice and conveniently located for a healthy lunch at Whole Foods afterwards. Front desk staff can sometimes seem aloof but have always had good service and attention from assigned therapists. What services you receive (head or foot massage) vary so just ask for what you want. Only complaint is that they should ban cellphone use in the so-called tranquility room, kinda defeats the purpose. Have asked about this and they claim they cant ask people to stop but why not, banks and the post office post signs. Good as any other place for now.
Awesome, professional service every time! Kathy is the best massage therapist ever!!!..get her if its your first time trying this location or first massage experience! Membership is great price and offers upgrades and extended session at small additional cost.
Went in as a walk in and they where able to book me quickly (also accommodating of my request to gender of massage therapist (male in my case)). Dannie was my massage therapist and I can without a doubt say he was able to deliver the best massage I have ever had! I will be making sure that I book Dannie every time I go here now. I did the one hour massage and Dannie was able to apply the right amount of pressure to all my sore areas, as well as really loosen up a bunch of tightness I had in my neck area.TL;DR If you go here, make sure to ask for Dannie.
I scheduled a couples massage for my husbands birthday at 6:30 p.m. 10/18/14. The appointment was confirmed the day before. We were notified 30 mins before our appointment(already in traffic on our way there)through voicemail that our appointment was cancelled because one of the therapists called off from work. When we arrived we were told that we would be taken care of even though there was no plan in action since our massages were cancelled and our couples room was given away. Chavon walked in from outside and said that they could offer my husband a massage with a complimentary aromatherapy selection. I have visited massage envy in the past and that service is usually included. I am very disappointed that I was not able to get a massage with him ( i was offered at the last minute a male therapist) and that I had to pay full price for his massage that did not even last a full hour with no courtesy.
I had my first professional massage here. The masseuse Tracy explained everything and made me feel extremely comfortable. This place is all about open communication so you can have the best experience and I think I love that the most. Im looking forward to going back this month and trying out the facials!
This location was very nice. The front desk group were all wry welcoming and the receptionist who walked me to the back waiting area was so friendly and made my nerves go right out the door. The massage therapist was wonderful. All my aches in my upper back went away. I cant wait to have another!
Asked to cancel my appointment because I found out I had the flu (and didnt want to spread it) and they still charged me. Have a little empathy for your customers, especially the ones that have paid and not had a chance to use your service.
Massage therapist didnt listen to anything I told her on my massage needs, barely massaged me. Aliyah at the front desk is incredibly rude and totally uninterested in providing her customers a good experience. Far from relaxing. The massage envy in Kennesaw is far superior of an experience. Their staff and massage staff are fantastic!
Had a doctors appointment take longer than expected and was greeted with a rude attitude and a manager unwilling to help/ understand my reasoning for canceling my session. Still had to pay half the fee of my session even though my reason for missing was outside of my control.Save yourself the trip and go elsewhere since it seems that you as the customer come last at massage envy.
Ive been a ME member for 10 years.I enjoy my massages here, Ive seen 2 separate massage therapists, both were great. The front desk is disorganized and I have run into multiple rude/not customer friendly calls.
I have never experienced a massage like this EVER‼️ When I tell you that GRACE is AMAZING at what she does... You better believe me Baby! This lady has Anointing Hands of Wonder! Lol, and shes very informative! Idk how much shes being paid, But she needs a Raise ASAP! #AmazingGrace ❤️🙌🏽❤️ Oh! And Porsha has Exquisite customer service skills 💯 Very welcoming 🥰
Called today to speak to someone about a couples massage for me and my wife. We are having a date day and will be in the downtown area. The lady that answered the phone was very dry to say the least. She acted as if it pained her to answer every question I asked. She answered every question with one or two words and did not assist me much at all. I refuse to spend my money anywhere where I dont feel wanted. I booked somewhere else.
Alejandro is the best massage therapist I have been to. He is experienced and professional and goes above and beyond. He really cares about his patients health and healing.
I should have believed the other reviews. Worst massage Ive ever had; no joke and no exaggeration. I asked for a refund, they refused. It was so bad Im going to dispute the charge with my cc.DO NOT GO HERE
Purple is their branding ... and will be the color of your face by the time youre finished dealing Massage Envy Ponce Management. Front desk and therapists are on point. Management is foolish, manic and impossible to have a conversation with. My situation was a scheduling issue, when they were at fault. If you are going to pay for a massage, it should be truly a stress-free experience! Ive had really positive experiences at: Jiao, Art of Touch and Atlanta Muscle Melter.
Jamal is the greatest therapist ever. I am certain that he is the reason many come to this location. Super service at reception but the last time I went, I was being charged points for a service I didnt receive from the aesthetician. Makes me curious about all of my previous visits.
Best Massage that my fiancee and I have had in Atlanta. David and Adam were both incredible. They each paid great attention to the areas we mentioned on the arrival form. Value was astounding, weve paid much more for much less. And definitely go for the 90 minutes.
I had a great experience here last week and cannot wait to go back. Des was great. My only complaint is I wish I would have booked and hour and a half with him and not just one hour. Good, quality, clean, professional and great service. Ill be going forever.
Danny was great! However, the room where the massage was held was less than subpar. The room is a converted office and lacks music, proper lighting, and an adequated size massage table, all of which can be remedied cheaply. In short, its not a very relaxing experience. The others rooms are relaxing and the therapist are good.
I paid $90 to have my massage therapist rub oil on my body. She also stopped in the middle of the massage and did nothing.... just sat there to run the clock. I would not recommend this place. Go with a smaller massage business that genuinely cares about the customer’s experience. Terrible.
Wonderful experience. Marcus was very gentle and knowledgeable. He recognized my problem areas and really work thing out. I will recommend him to friends and family.
I love this location! Great customer support from Stephanie and Taylor every time! I haven’t had any issues.
2nd cancellation in 4 weeks! Think I’ll have to ban going to this location as they’re unreliable. The front desk staff are also unprofessional and rarely know what to do. When canceling my appointment I was hung up on.
Front desk was very friendly and welcoming! Had an hour massage with Cathy and let me just say BEST MASSAGE EVER she was very good and paid attention to my problem areas she definitely will be seeing me again! Thank you guys I feel amazing!! 💕👌
Avoid this location . I canceled my membership months ago and they still have my account active and taking money from my account . They say they refunded me two payments it only shows 1 . I had prepaid for a massage only to arrive at another location telling me that midtown deleted it ! Management drops the ball . Close my account !
Visiting without membership is too expensive. Monthly membership is $60 which covers a 1 hour massage or facial. Visits in the same month after that are $40. Totally worth it, with the right therapist!
This place is great. Excellent front desk staff who are both friendly and knowledgeable. The massage I received was exactly what I needed. Not too hard and in exactly the right spots. Definitely worth the ongoing membership and both mental and physical benefits.
After returning from my honeymoon my love suprised me with a massage. This spot was professional and clean. However, the rooms a super small. We did a couples massage and we barely fit in the room let alone with two workers.
Terrible customer services. Managers are a joke. I’ve had two massages canceled 30 minutes before because they scheduled incorrectly. I’d never spend a dollar here.
These people need to go to Asia and learn what massage business really is!!! not impressed with their service and their full body massage didnt include a foot rub, i could of paid someone much less on craigslist and get a full body real massage..i really want my money back!! go thef youll be paying for location and wanna be stuck ups..how and the world do you demand gratuities, thats up to the client
VERY GOOD MASSAGE HOWEVER, THE YOUNG AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN AND THE FRONT DESK HAS ZERO PERSONALITY. SHE DID NOT SPEAK WHEN I CAME IN AND SHE WAS VERY UNINTERESTED IN HER JOB. THE GENTLEMAN AT THE FRONT DESK AND I CANNOT REMEMBER HIS NAME WAS A GEM. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. HE SHOULD TEACH A FEW CUSTOMER SERVICE CLASSES FOR MASSAGE ENVY AND THE YOUNG LADY SHOULD BE HIS FIRST STUDENT. SHE CLEARLY DOES NOT LIKE HER JOB.
I had the best massage ever.
Kathy @ Massage Envy midtown is the truth!!! Im almost reluctant to speak so highly of her.. for selfish reasons. But talent mustnt be ignored. Shes the bomb dot com... Google her:)
They take money without your consent even after you already cancel. I kept calling for my refund they keep asking me me i must use their facility for the money they took.
Euriel gives a great deep tissue massage. She is very professional. You won’t do better any place else that charges more.
There were way too many customers and not enough front desk staff at this location. It was a little overwhelming, but maybe its because I came at lunch time.
They cancelled our appointments without asking us. Very unprofessional and service was poor. Front desk screwed up the entire thing
Good experience. Place was clean and friendly
The manager of this location is completely rude and unprofessional. You can’t even have a conversation with them. Not only that, this place is completely unorganized. Your paperwork will be lost.
Burt did an outstanding job. I normally go to another location but couldn’t get an appointment there as quickly. Excellent!
Great place, Cedric was an excellent massage therapist.
I go faithfully every month. I love my therapist. I rarely see anyone else.
My me time, here is wher I come to get a massage that helps my daily activities. I enjoy the workers here and there customer service
Omg.. Rude, appt@7:00 everyone just standing around.. I feel very unwanted, they make you feel like you bothering them, and this is just the front, havent made it to the back
Had a really great experience with Jamal. I felt 90% better when I left. Highly recommend.
If you guys are going to be closed on a holiday your website says most locations are opened on, you could at least change the message that says your open normal business hours and to try calling again later.
Nothing bad to say about masseuses but the management is horrible. Multiple unauthorized charges on my credit card.
Kayla was wonderful Baz was a delight
Absolutely terrible experience with their monthly program. I feel cheated. Take your money elsewhere.
I feel swindled by this particular Massage Envy. Time and again they failed to communicate with me. I do not recommend this store
Had my back stretched, wasnt nice. I walked out feeling like I could do backflips. Good Job!
Best facial I ever had. Friendly staff. Clean location.
Customer service there is amazing but my massage experience was very basic.
Quanie is amazing! She means business and makes me feel my best!
A friend and I have had poor experiences with this location. The customer service is unsatisfactory and the managers are extremely hard to get a hold of.
They had just installed a new computer system so it was a little disorganized but the massage was good. clean location
Its great there the staff is awesome and informative. Lovely environment and the ambience is soothing! LOVE IT! 😍😍
Never can get a walk in, you dont get a full hour so they kinda sucks.
Terrible experience. Managers and the company take no accountability for issues with there app or customer service!!!Don’t sign up or spend your money here!!!
The rooms are not cozy, and it doesn’t give the spa vibe!
Great staff good location but parking sucks
Made me feel welcome, very professional and the message was the bomb...
It was simply just OK. Nice location, clean facilty, nice staff.
A therapist are great! Front desk is very unprofessional very unknowledgeable
The front desk staff is always changing but the masseuses are the bomb!
Took my gf to get a massage when I really need one.
Two- to three-month waiting list for Natalya is worth it!
Great service and great message!
I’ve been a member since 2009.
I enjoy my monthly massage
Rating based on non-services visit only for info...
Manly is the best and the front desk is great
