Anthem Lounge

We had a wonderful bartender who looked out for our best interest, and an amazing dancer to bring in a festive vibe. The DJ was nice but not willing to adjust to the crowd. We expected more out of the music, but it was okay… just okay. We left after a few songs.

I’d like to start with how SMALL this place is. And how most of it is roped off for “VIP” customers, leaving a rectangular, narrow, hallway feel vibe, for the other occupants who have paid their $20 cover fee. I felt like I was in someone’s living room space. And do not get me started with the HORRIBLE DJ that was there on a Sunday night (DJ Hefner) Everything about this establishment was awkward. Every time the door opened & a new customer entered, you can see how shocked they looked. Their first impression matched every other person who also entered after paying their cover fee. Do not believe the photos you see online as they are ALL in panoramic view which make the same appear much larger then it actually is. I wore a lovely dress, purse… my entire outfit was an absolute waste. My group of both males & females, had one alcoholic beverage & we decided to leave because the entire vibe just didn’t allow us to think that we would settle into this awful vibe after another beverage. I will do just fine with never returning to this establishment when I’m back in the area. What a strange “club” experience.

Super small space and most of area was roped off. We paid per $15 person, DJ was not as good as expected so definitely was not worth paying … My party left and went elsewhere 👎🏽

My best friend and I come to Anthem every time we’re in AC and the service is always phenomenal. The manager is so kind and friendly, always social with us. Alaina and Gabbie always go out of their way to make your time there unforgettable and they’re so much fun! Not to mention the security is always looking out for us, which is a huge plus when going out. Definitely worth going to!!

Had such an amazing night celebrating my sisters 21st birthday , got bottle service for the night , service and DJ were amazing !! Would definitely go back in the future

From security to the management, the service at Anthem is top tier. The bottle service and host were so attentive that we went back the next night. The bartenders were great and the drinks were hitting. My husband had the best birthday experience because of the Anthem crew. Love you all and see you in September.

Second time Ive been to this club. Manager was very attentive and it was open till early morning. He got a cupcake for the 21st birthday girl. Had VIP service and bottle galore. Had an an awesome time.

The security and manager welcomed me inside and the vibe was great! The best bartenders you’ll ever meet, prices were very reasonable and I got bottle service which the presentation was great. The bottle servers had fun with us but still made sure we were taken care of! The only club I go to when I’m in AC!Definitely a “go to” if you want great vibes and even better service!

Phenomenal!!! I was with a group of 24 people for a holiday party. We asked if they could accommodate us at the last minute and they pulled it off for us! We danced and drank all night! Bottle girls are gorgeous and make sure you are always stocked with cups, ice, alcohol, mixers and water. They check in often. Manager and door guy was great, we couldnt have had a better night!

We went out for our friends 21st birthday! The staff was just great! Elena was our bartender and she was AMAZING!! She was so sweet and had patience. Defiantly make sure to stop in to Anthem night club next time you are in Atlantic City looking to create memories. With Elena and Anthem night club you can’t go wrong.

Every time in AC this is the spot my friends and I hit up! The staff is so friendly and engaging! Makes the night such a vibe! The go go dancers actually know how to dance are enjoyable to watch! Good music, good vibes, great drinks and goregous girls.... what more can you ask for! Will be back again!!

Had so much fun for my birthday at anthem the manager Brian took such good care of me and made me feel right at home with a cake a beautiful ballons . The music was amazing place was packed and I danced the night away !!!

Just went to anthem for the first time! Me and my friends had such an AMAZING TIME . loved that we had our own little area to hangout all night. Music was great . Friendly staff! This is a hidden gem in the Tropicana, will be returning .

Oof, this DJ was rough. Never let a song play for more than a verse, no consistent vibes, no transitions. Its a super small lounge (you can see all four walls right when you walk in). Drinks are pretty pricey and the whole space is taken up by empty VIP booths.Vibes were more like pre-gaming for a bach party, but other than that, Id spend your cover charge budget elsewhere like Boogie Nights or another hotel.

Me and my girlfriends come here at least once a month, and also for any special event. The staff is amazing, goes above and beyond for us in any way they can. Gabbie and Alaina who are two of are the bartenders, make the best drinks and are sweethearts! Every girl who works there is a baddie!!!!! The GM Brian is so helpful and will make sure you have a great night whether it’s a weekend with the girls or a birthday!!! We just had a bachelorette here and they decorated the booth for us which is more than any other club has done for me. Over exceeding expectations here always! If you want to have a good night, this is the spot!

Lemme start off first by saying waste of my time…. we get there in line and one worker said “i’ll let you guys come in for $15 just go get cash and we’ll let you in”. So we go get cash and get back into line and I handed another worker my ID and he looked at it for literally A SECOND and didnt let me in. I am over 21 first of all and he walked away from us without explaining as to why. We had fo pay an $8 ATM fee just to get cash out gor this place…Worse experience ever and rude workers.

Small club. Basic. Boogie nights is better. Only reason we went is because it’s the latest club open in Tropicana . Cover charge is 20$ went with a large group because 1 of us had a hat and sweatpants on they had to pay an additional 20$. Kind of a rip off. Music was so so . Dj was not consistent so the vibe kept changing.

Really didn’t have the best experience here. The crowd was nothing but a bunch of fake boujee people who just sat there and stared at other people the whole time… then the bartenders are a joke. One charged 7$ for a drink, the next (a rather rude man) charged over 12 for the same exact one. So basically I payed 20$ to stand in a room smaller than my living room, over pay for basic drinks (rum and coke… really), and get stared at by the few other guests there - place was pretty much dead. Staff wasn’t the nicest either… I get a better than you vibe from them all. so booo not the vibe. Not a fan!!

2/13/2021 visit. Please do not go to this lounge, it was a total rip off. We were told it was $600 for the VIP booth by the owner Carrie. When we got there a guy lead us into the lounge to a high top table. I told him we were told we were getting a booth by Carrie he said thats not what she told him and that she is not here. He the brought us the receipt of my CC and i was charged $972.00 which he claimed was for taxes and tip. Definitely NOT WORTH IT, WE WERE SCAMMED!P.S. The DJ was not even that great, my friend had to tell him what to play.

$20 cover to get into a pretty basic, small, club. My group spent $120 to get in the door and left 5 minutes after walking in. We went back after midnight, a little more happening. But if you arent planning to drop hundreds of dollars, dont bother. Minimum bottle is $300 and you cant sit anywhere, all tables are reserved for bottle service

Came here for my bachelorette last year and what a time we had!!! I made friends with Alaina instantly and she took care of me and my girls like we were lifelong friends!! I cannot wait to come back here and see whats new!!!

I flew in from Arizona last week to attend my cousins bachelorette party at Anthem Nightclub and I am so glad I didn’t miss out because we had SUCH A GREAT TIME!!!! We had reserved a VIP table for 8 girls the size of table and area were perfect for us.DJ played the perfect music great variety and we danced the entire time we were at the club. Tge smaller atmosphere made it so we didn’t lose each other and we’re able to talk to each other throughout the night. The guy who was bartending treated us great and always made sure we had a drink in hand (sorry can’t remember his name but had short black hair, glasses and goatee) We had both bottle service and went to the bar as well the service was impeccable!!!! I wish we had this place in Arizona.I did leave my cell phone at the club and contacted them the next day not only did they find my phone but they brought it to the hotel I was staying at since I didn’t have a car. Definitely deserve a 5 star rating wish I could give more!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For the past year Ive been going down to Anthem probably about once a month and it never fails to give this mom a great night out.The staff, the atmosphere, the music just everything about this place is fire 🔥Thank you guys for always making me feel welcome and making my experiences one of a kind!!!

We paid for bottle service for 6 people. Needed to get two 1L bottles ($300-450/bottle). When I booked the VIP I was told the music was Top 40, the music was horrible and dabbled between 70s, 80s, and rap. The music was not dancing music, and when a song finally came on that was danceable the DJ changed it 30 seconds later to another random song. They shoved us in a “VIP” section that could fit 4, not 6. Also, when I booked and asked questions about the atmosphere I was told it was going to be busy and there’s a large dance floor. The dance floor was so small, there’s not room to dance when they put a 10 person VIP group smack dab in the middle. End result was $1200, no dancing, and and early night.

The atmosphere its nice except if you come on a Sunday. The dj is kind of rude and will only play the music that he likes not what other people want to hear

When my friends and I come to AC we always make sure to hit up Anthem at Tropicana. Place is more lounge then nightclub so it’s small and intimate, which we like. Everyone is so nice and makes us feel like we are part of the family. Management is awesome and we love it here. Can’t wait to go back

A nice after hours spot that gets pretty lit Saturdays & Sundays but most people don’t really come in til after 2 or 3:00 a.m. earlier than that it will be probably dead but the later it gets the more packed & lit it gets..

On a Friday night at Midnight, we thought the club would be crowded and worth the $15 cover per person (girls included). With no warning, the club was empty, and continued to be empty for several hours, with no offer of refund from the bouncers immediately after we entered the club and left. Highly disappointed and DO NOT recommend to anybody!

This is a great place to party! Every time I am in the area I go to anthem. Brian always gives you great deals on bottle service, anything you need he finds a way to accommodate! The bartender Bret is awesome always very fast with making your drinks. You will never find your self waiting at the bar for 15 minutes waiting for a drink. The bottle service girls are great and always fun to be around. All in all it is a very clean club very accommodating staff (including bouncers) I will continue to refer this club to any of my friends in the area as well as give my business to them when ever I am in town.

LOVE this place! Ive been an anthem member for years! I basically grew up in my 20s there. Reading some of the reviews gave me a good chuckle because they sound like pretentious people who are not used to being told NO. I have NEVER ONCE had a bad experience there. Except that one time when I lost a dance battle to professional dancers from the step up movie. The entire anthem family is incredible and caring. Youre greeted with a smile from EVERYONE. Even when you go to the bathroom. The entire staff are locals who care for their community and everyone who comes in. They all stepped up for my family and I by fundraising after I was shot in the line of duty. Do yourself a favor and disregard the bad reviews. The music is great and the prices are even better! Anthem is a hidden gem that offers more than the usual get drunk and wild scene. It truly is an experience to be had! YES theres a dress code because why go out and not be dressed to impress?

How do you go from being my favorite spot in Atlantic City to my least in just 3 short weeks? Its absolutely mindblowing. I literally come here every single Friday and Saturday since 2014. You would think the customer loyalty would grant you a smile or a hello! but you would be dead wrong. The staff is stuck-up to the point where you just want to vomit. Its very sad as I really did feel comfortable spending my late-night weekends at the Anthem Lounge. Dont get me wrong, its an excellent concept, however, the management has gone severely downhill.. and fast. I felt like I belonged here. The crowd has changed drastically, drunken fights are a dime-a-dozen here and the staff does not make you feel welcome. I really hope Anthem makes a comeback and they will get the summer business.. but for now, Im checking out. Thanks for the memories Anthem.

We wasn’t going to go at 1st because of reviews (I’m crazy like that lol) but I must say that club was AMAZING ! we went last night 10/27 the DJ didn’t miss a beat, he played songs I haven’t heard in years !!!! The security let’s just say #beardgang they were on their job but super sweet. The shot girl super sweet (she made sure I didn’t take pineapple I’m badly allergic ) the whole atmosphere was great. We will surely be returning again.

Went to the drag show hosted by the club which was excellent (shout out to Vinchelle!). The club offers a free admission after the drag show, which we utilized for our friend’s birthday. Bartenders were rude, untimely, and charged for cups of tap water.. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they upcharged for the drinks we paid for all night.. don’t waste your time unless you want to lose money here as opposed to gambling it away.

I usually dont write reviews unless i really like the services etc..Me and my girlfriend went down for a night for my birthday. It was late night so we decided to check this place out. We ordered our drinks and hung out for about 30-45 min, then i used the bathroom.. All of a sudden 2 security men came running in while i was still going to the bathroom my girlfriend walked out and explained that i was in the stall going to the bathroom and then i heard it get loud and all of a sudden were both being dragged out of the club by two men that were alot bigger then us. I had no idea what was happening until the manager talked to me. He explained that we went into the mens bathroom ( i had no idea Ive been to bathrooms that were for men and women) but instead the security guard decided to drag us both out of the club not explaining that we were in the mens room, if he was calm and told us that we would have probably laughed it off and said sorry. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. I will never be back here again. I felt very disrespected, i have a bruise on my arm from the guy grabbing me it was honestly a miscommunication and should have been handled WAY better then what it was. It kinda felt like they thought we were doing something bad or illegal and the sad part is if i didnt have to go to the bathroom this would have never happened. Definitely get your security under control before something bad happens.

I love Anthem Lounge! The atmosphere is very safe and welcoming and it’s a great place to enjoy some good music and GREAT drinks. The staff is very professional and I’ve never had a problem. Every time I’ve been to Anthem it’s been nothing but fun and I hope Atlantic City keeps this place around for a long time.

Purchased two NYE tickets for a burlesque show, which was nothing more than female bartenders wearing corsets and boas. There was no seating, and we were presented with a bottle service menu for seating starting at $330. The burlesque tickets were $75 each and just guaranteed open bar. Waste of time and money, the DJ was mediocre at best. The promoter/owner is a con man; beware of false advertisement.

Five stars for music, it was an amazing mix between older 90s music and newer stuff. But all great songs. Went on a Monday and was annoyed to pay a cover, considering only a tiny part of the club was open and it was not crowded.

Had a great time here. I went on a Saturday night. Was my first choice but when we walked into the plaza the club downstairs Cuba Libre looked good so we decided to check that out ($20 entry open from 10am-4am) but we couldnt get in because our guys didnt have a button up shirt. So if you go there follow the dress code.. Back to Anthem..Atmosphere was chill. Drinks bit expensive but its Ac so you cant expect it to be cheap. No particular dress code like other clubs and Dj was good too. Its a bit small but people are in and out throughout the whole night (you get stamped at the door for re entry). It got a bit packed around 2ish. Cost was $10 and its open from 10pm-7am. Would definitely come back here again.

My cousin and I were at the Kiss kiss night club most of the night but once they closed at 4am, we decided we would stop back at our room to fix our makeup etc. and head to the Anthem lounge. We heard from a guy at kiss kiss that this place was open until 7am so, we were all for it! I was already shocked about that (because I live in Pennsylvania and bars and clubs close at 2am). Anyway, as soon as we get there the bouncer, or whoever he was, stopped us and said we werent allowed in because they have a dress code and we were wearing flip flops. My cousin kindly said it was her birthday and to please let us get in, as well as showing him that these were dressy flip flops but, he VERY RUDELY said no and said we are privately owned and operated and some other nonsense...what does that have to do with anything??Now, if we were wearing NIKE flip flops or beach flip flops I can understand but, we were dressed for the occasion. Our flip flops were dressy and sparkly. Not cheap either! So, basically we were denied entry and the staff, whoever that guy was, was ignorant.

I went to Anthem Lounge this past weekend and I LOVED IT! Very awesome experience. Great music friendly staff, and very reasonable bottle service prices. This was the only after hours spot me and my friends came across in AC and this place was packed from 10pm to 7am!! Definitely try Anthem Lounge next time you visit AC

DO NOT BOOK BOTTLE SERVICE FROM THIS PLACE!!! We called a month a head in regards to bottle service because we were coming in from out of state for a friends birthday and our friends husband was paying for the bottle service as a present from him. He gave all his credit card information prior to for the booking and we asked in advance if this was going to be an issue due to him not being present that weekend, and we were told it wouldn’t be an issue at all. The night we arrive to anthem, an extremely rude employee states he cannot take our card and we explained we spoke with the manager Kerry, a month prior to about the credit card situation and he said that was never said and proceeded to state we needed to give him $650.00 cash for the bottle service and refused to give us a receipt for proof of what we would be paying for. We asked if we could split the charge for the service on all 4 of our cards and we were told no they will only take cash. Therefore, we requested to cancel the bottle service due to the situation becoming sketchy and we were told the credit card in which they COULD NOT ACCEPT to pay for the bottle service originally, will be charged a $250.00 cancellation fee. HOW CAN YOU CHARGE A CREDIT CARD $250.00 FOR A CANCELLATION FEE WITHOUT THE PERSON BEING THERE BUT NOT BE ABLE TO CHARGE THE CREDIT CARD THE FEE OF THE BOTTLE SERVICE WITHOUT THE PERSON THERE? Doesn’t make sense. We then requested to speak with higher management who had a completely different story....Overall, I would not recommend this club. It’s extremely tiny, very poorly managed services, and extremely sketchy with their payment methods.

We saw a drag show here called Diva Royale and it was a lot of fun! The host and main performer was such a joy to watch and really knew how to work a crowd. She was also a great lip-syncher, just like the other two performers. The only thing I found really weird was them giving lap dances to some brides-to-be. Which brings me to the audience during our visit. It was mainly women - girl friends on a night out or doing their bachelorette parties, dolled up wives with their bored-looking, high-rolling husbands. There was one woman who came to celebrate her divorce. The gays couldnt be bothered that night for some reason.

Went for one of my friends bachelorette parties, got a table and a bottle. Amazing staff and service! So accommodating, went above and beyond! Loved the atmosphere and music! Will definitely be back !!!

The worst place I have ever been to. Rude bar tenders and rude employees. Didn’t face such discriminatory behavior even in down South. This place is a bad vibe .The bouncer pushed the girls and just was bullying us the entire time.

Great time on a Sunday night. The DJ was one of the best I have heard in a long time. The bartenders were friendly and very customer service oriented. We will be back next time we are in Atlantic City.

Worst club experience ever. Me and my boys had to pay 20$ to get in when you in its way too small for a nightclub plus the crowd was so low for a Saturday night it looked worst than a Tuesday night. I would definitely not recommend this place I went once before midnight on a Friday night they tried to charge the girls and guys 20$ each to get inside. We finally decided to pay and were extremely disappointed when we entered the club is extremely small. You might as well party in your hotel room.

Best after hours place in Atlantic City. Everyone is so friendly from the moment you walk in the management welcomes you. I remember getting there around 4’shhh... I didn’t leave until 9’shh am 🙈 a lot of great high energy. Btw make sure to try their green tea shots 🙈

Just went and over paid for a drink. Then was told to leave my drink on the counter while I used restroom. I think not. Had my friend had to hold my drink I and jokingly said well aint tbis a buddy system. The lady working there said well thats the rules and youre gonna do it. No friendly vibe. We left. Got back to room and noticed the stamp to get in read epic fail irony?

Not impressed honestly, the music was horrendously loud, I couldnt hear myself think yet alone talk with my friends. There was no where to sit as well. Every seat said reserved, the workers didnt give off a very friendly vibe either.

Its always fun to party... The cover charge for ladies during LADIES NIGHT was annoying but it was probably because it was only a handful of attendees, on a Tues, in AC.
