Masters Inn Augusta Washington Rd, I-20

Im staying until found housing to get started on cancer treatment. Flipped out of a chair that was broken in my room. Was told I had to leave right away. Was prevented from getting immediate attention. Had to get elsewhere and seek medical care and lost money as well as causing me to have to make emergency living arrangements....avoid this place seriously. Nothing good to say about the place or the staff. Im amazed they even have business at all.

The term You get what you pay for, goes a long way with this place. I will never ever stay here again. My room didnt have a phone, table, chair, remote, towels NOTHING! I requested two days in a row and never got the items. Plus they were doing co struction upstairs u til 12am that night, and I had already the personnel know I had to be up at 6am. They did not care. Plus drug Infested and felt unsafe. I also had to clorox the room due to it being nasty. #NeverAgain!

We checked into this hotel late at night around shift change. They took cash with no card even on file for damages. We checked into room 329; My husband, myself, and a newborn, I went to the bathroom and killed 5 roaches in about 5 seconds. We went do to tell them we wanted a refund to go find another decent hotel; he would not give us a refund but offered to move us rooms on the first floor. Then told us we could have a handicap room for $10 more. The room he moved us to didn’t have roaches that we could see but it was awful. I will NEVER stay there again nor recommend anyone to go there.

The rooms are good size. But the hospitality is awful. When we checked in they knew it was my husband and I. We payed for an entire week. Not only did they call our room wanting more money. They tried to swindle us by saying that we had to pay more because it was both of us... And when my husbands coworker came over to spend time with him who also had a room they tried to get more money and tried to complain because we had another person in the room with us.... Who had there own room! And also paid for a week. Then again called us just yesterday asking if we were ok because again we had his coworker in here watching a movie with us. They are nosy, greedy, and just focused on what it feels like to be trying to scam good customers!! Oh and the maid is rude and like to be in peoples business too

Nasty rooms, unfriendly staff, Everyone pays different room prices.Owners judge you based on your appearance if you can have room or Not. I don’t recommend anyone to stay here. Sheets are dirty and they barely clean rooms. I found used towels in the sink. Those owners are hell. DONT STAY HERE!! Bedbugs are definitely in the 200 building so be careful...

Not happy. The desk clerk was nice. But they housekeeper never cleaned our room. We had to ask for towels and no refunds either. The could do better. But money is all they see

DO NOT STAY HERE ! First off if I pay $62.99 for a two beds , I expect something worth my money. First off.. room need to be remodel. Paint is literally peeling off wall. Bed boards are dusty! Like it’s never been clean. Tiny fridge by the way. Call the front desk for WiFi password and clerk (Indian man) told me to come and get it.. it was raining and freezing. When I came he had the password on a lil piece of paper and just toss it to me and didn’t say nothing but low key gave me a mean mug.— I was very confused. Oh yeah!! And there is MOLD In the vents. When I turn it on it had a horrible order then I look closer and it was everywhere! Anyways.. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

On October 25th of 2018 I stayed a night at the Master Inn and it was the worst!! Although Mrs.Wanda was very kind and sweet as usual. After she left I went to my room and was on the phone and coloring, I went to grab another pencil and I saw a baby roach. I immediately said something to the Indian dude said it was because my stuff was scattered. I was going through clothes and he raised his voice and brings me a comfomforter with holes. I asked for my money back and refused, I even asked for another room and refused. I went to use the bathroom and yet again another roach!! I took my phone and showed him the picture and said it was me. I was enraged!!! He wanted me to spray the room (Im the guest!!!) Worst experience there ever!!!

If i could give 0 i would. I swear paid for 2nights to be woke up the next morning by police saying we had to leave even though i showed proof of payment and all. Richmond county police said this place is a joke and dont understand how they get away with it. And told cops he refused to give me the refund. And this all starts before 11am. Try econo behind it. Its newer and the owner is a delight

Ok for an overnight stay. I think they have WiFi but I didnt use it. Flat screen TV in the room. Smoking and non-smoking rooms available. Customer service was friendly enough but I did kill a big roach in the room. Easily accessible from I-20 and convenient to many restaurants and other stores.

Worst stay ever. Customer service is the worst. I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to pay upfront for my room. 4 nights stay all they did was changed the towels out. Room smelled phone didnt work water backed up in tub when you shower. Will never stay at this location again nor will I recommend it..

Staff more concerned with getting your money then kicking you out before checkout. Indian lady up front is hateful and if you bother her, she will complain the whole time about helping you. Overall, do not recommend. If I could post negative stars, I would.

The masters inn is perfect if you are looking for a low cost option while going to Augusta National. The location is within walking distance to several food places. You need to know this is not the ritz but if you want a place to rest it does the job.

The rooms electrical outlets only 1 works, no remote, no trash can, carpet was wet, no smoke detector. Stinks. No towels, dusky af, couldnt stop sneezing. No toiletries. Floor was dirty. Guess the upside is no roaches

Worst Hotel Ever!!! i have checked for three days turns out i was allergic to something in the room, the room was unclean and disgusting. The bathroom light did not work at all and the sheets looked like they havent been changed since the place was built. To top it all off the manager wasnt in town and couldnt be reached. They refused to give me a refund and told me to bear it. The desk clerk barely spoke english. Its not worth the hassel at all. I would rather sleep in my car.

Dirty, every thing is broken or stained. Everything is borrowed from other hotels like the room key and ice buckets all from different hotels. This place look and feels like the Bates Motel. We are armed. And will never come back here. In town for the Masters and this filthy room was not cheap.

Friendliness gets more stars over technical and environmental mishaps. front desk lady is such a great positive spirited woman! rooms clean and very affordable

It would get negative stars if possible. This place isnt fit for a dog let alone humans. GOLF PATRONS STAY AWAY!!! The owner will lie to your face about your room and refuse a refund. F- this place, though the working staff were friendly. Not to mention the housekeeping staff started banging on the door at 9

Convenience of location to Augusta National is great. Lawanda and Nick and his wife are very nice. They helped me out after i doubled booked for monday and were able to give us a room for the next night. If they did not do that i was out screwed out of money. I will say hotel is outdated but beds were comfortable. If you want something nicer you will pay for it. Im sure the whole area doesnt get much business outside of Masters week.

Augusta is horrible but after staying at the other hotels this place rocks..mr.nick has a good staff and it is managed well. The rooms are dated but usually clean. Anywhere else on in the coast it wouldnt be in business but for Augusta it fares well. I would stay again.

Place sucks i payed all that money for 4 weeks an wasnt allowed to have vistors had a chick to come over while i was there i had to get her a cab as soon as the cab arrived the owner asked her where was she goin she said im visiting him pointed at me on the balcony he ran her off i had to pay double the cab fee just for the cab driver to take her back home. Never again

Can I give this a negative star? OMG take a 50s or 60s motel that hasnt been updated or painted since then. Add price gouging for the Masters last week at $300+ per nite and you have it. The manager was pleasant and the do gave a breakfast if assorted muffins and cinnamon rolls.

Masters Inn was ok for getting away from Florence, but really crappy. The only good things I can say is Eve, our house keeping lady was very sweet and good at her job. The thing was they let us extend our stay at the same price I paid through Travelocity.

Would not ever stay here again. I was put in a room that was being remodeled and was very dirty. No microwave or fridge in room and was charged $100 for one night. When I called the front fest I was told I could always leave but would not get my money back

There were burn holes in the comforter roaches on the wall but the air conditioner work the water was hot some light bulbs and lamps needed to be replaced overall its overpriced

Very old establishment. Rooms were attempted to be clean but deffinatly needs to be updated. I have it a 2 star because the front desk clerk was nice.

Have been here a while have told the front desk.more than once about the light above the sink going in and out the people before us took the battery out of the fire alarm and messed with it to the point it fell off the wall the second night we were in this room and the microwave didnt work the house keeper came around seeing if peoples phones worked I said mine does but what about other things showed her the alarm microwave and light they have yet to replace the light or fire alarm and the managers husband is rude 95 percent of the time... oh and the pool isnt open

Its your typical low budget motel. Smells slightly of mold, the beds are a little ruff but for the price not bad I guess.

No breakfast but coffee, charges same price as motels w breakfast. Rooms clean but approched about buying drugs time i walked to stairs. Sometimes loud.

I would give this motel a no star rating for their very poor customer service. My husband was quoted a price on March 19th for a stay he planned make April 5 and 6. His card was immediately charge TWICE the amount he had been originally quoted. Further he never authorized them to charge his card at that time....for a stay that was 3 weeks in the future. The person taking the reservation said hed email a sheet to sign but never did and charged us anyway. Now when we called to rectify this, he said hes cancelling our reservation and not giving us our money back. These are very, very shady people!!! Do NOT stay there!

NICE STAFF. QUIET HOTEL. CLEAN ROOMS. OCCASIONAL ROACH COMING IN FROM UNDER THE DOOR, BUT THATS JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE.

We stayed here Masters week, last minute. Not the nicest hotel, but the price was reasonable. No bugs, good location.

I would give it zero if I could they where very rude I had to go to the desk 3 times because every room they gave me was dirty then the tvs didnt work there where stains all over the bed hair in the sink just disgusting I paid for 4 nights when I told them I only wanted to stay one they said oh well no refund

Staying 4 days, this is the second night. So far its quiet, on a major road w access to numerous shops and restuarants.. clean.

This morning we were greeted by a Madagascar roach in the bathroom went to front desk and was told we couldnt have a refund, corporate and state will be notified

They misled my disabled girlfriend without a room for hours and no ride and overcharged her for a room that was full of broken crack pipe

This is a bad place to get a room if it more than 2 people in the room the 3rd person willnt get a set a bath towel and the phone dont work

Love the masters inn despite my tendencies towards being full of immaturity I try and stay humble and thankful.
