Charles was very good, I have no complaints about him at all! BUT…. I had a massage then a facial scheduled, and when I checked in, I told the front desk about it and requested to be able to stay in the same room. The young girl said yes, that would be fine, however, when Charles came up, I was not in a facial room. I lost time from Massage. Charles went to get things fixed, Then I also lost time from my facial because Shay had to move all items from one room to another. There should be a system in place so that clients don’t have to change rooms and therapists should not be using facial rooms for just massages.
Shaquandra was absolutely 💯 the best!! ❤️ she hit every single one of my stress points in my body. I felt like a new man. She gets a 10. I would definitely recommend her. Shes my to go massage therapist from now on. Ill be back! Oan YK who Ill ask for.
I had a really great experience with Toni. I have been looking for that one person that worked well with me and that I was comfortable with. Just like your hair stylist you want a dedicated masseuse for all your recurring visits and Toni is now my dedicated masseuse. I am now looking forward to my upcoming visits.
I’ve been coming to this location for a few years now. Great place, great therapists. Always ask for someone with lots of muscle power to really break up those pesky knots.One thing I don’t understand is why would they need a credit card stored in their system if the session WAS ALREADY PAID FOR.First, this means that those people with bad debt who are not allowed by law to get a card can’t use their ALREADY PAID FOR SESSION, in other words, this “credit card rule” is biased against certain people under financial strain. Second, it has been widely reported about the scam that Massage Envy pulled a few years ago in which they secretly charged you for a membership without telling you. I’m hoping someone at ME would reply to this message. Overall, I would certainly keep coming back to ME. They provide a great service.
Highly unsatisfied! After looking for an appointment on a Saturday since March, I booked for June 29th and was notified today, 2 days prior, that my appointment was cancelled and they don’t have anything else available for at least 2 months. They told me that there was nothing they could do as the massage therapist was going to be out of town. Not only did they cancel my appointment, they couldn’t even find the time or massage therapist that I booked. They kept telling me it was one time with one massage therapist, but I have a voicemail and email confirmation for another time and another massage therapist. I have a business that depends on me working the weekends and I booked this appointment a month out to work my schedule around it and now I can’t even get the massage. If I didn’t have a gift card that I was gifted for my birthday, I wouldn’t even be going there. So unprofessional and very dissatisfied.
If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. This location has canceled my appointments several times, one session was canceled without my knowledge, one canceled just as I was pulling in the parking lot, and 2 others canceled bc the provider is not available. I have sessions building up and cant use them. Horrible customer service as well. Definitely dont suggest speaking to Jade. She does not have any professionalism about her.
I had an excellent experience!! The best massage that Ive ever had! Racheal K. provide the guidance that I needed to help with managing and preventing the back pain and stiffness Ive been experiencing. She gave me a solid treatment plan along with tips on things I can do at home. I appreciate her honesty and expertise!
This place has completely fallen apart. I literally was notified less than 30 minutes before my appointment was to happen today that it was cancelled by Massage Envy. If this was a one off, I could be more understanding but this has been a pattern for them going back the last few years. It seems like they are understaffed and over sell memberships, making it impossible to get appointments made. And whenever Ive made appointments in advance (sometimes months in advance because there was nothing available), 4 out of 5 times it gets cancelled by Massage Envy. Dont waste your money here. I tried freezing my account last year so I could get caught up, but my appointments kept getting canceled by Massage Envy. Im glad I cancelled my membership because its been more frustrating than relaxing just to get an appointment. I had more than 20 hours saved up on my membership and I rather lose it all than have to deal with this company any longer.
Chananyah is awesome she did an amazing job with me. Matter of fact because she was so good I did a membership and requested her as my masseuse. I called her angel hands..... With the overall experience that I had I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a massage, very welcoming, fast and professional.
1st experience with ME and I had Tynecia. She was very professional and worked directly on the areas that I needed. I have a lot of issues with my shoulders and I feel an improvement so far. The front desk was very kind and welcoming and the studio itself was very clean.
I actually can’t share an experience with this location because I had my appointment canceled twice in a row so I’ve given up. And to be honest, the person who contacted me didn’t seem at all apologetic that they were canceling me for a second time. Disappointing service (or lack there of).
This was the best massage treatment I ever experienced the 30 min stretch and the 1 hrs massage was awesome and Mrs Demeka was so professional and so kind with her message. I was in so much pain walking in the door she and Nika really help me. Love this so much and highly recommend them. Marilyn

Shanayah did an excellent job working the areas requested. However, my session was started late due to the front desk being occupied on the phone. Consequently, my message time was cut short. I understand all customers deserve service, phone or otherwise and the sessions need to end on the hour or half hour. But I held up my end of the deal arriving early and waiting well past the hour mark to get started.
Extremely pleasurable, so relaxing I slept most of the session except 4 when I was cutting down trees LOL....I wanted to edit this due to so many reviews about cancellations. I have had my sure of last minute cancellations, however, who can control others? If an employee calls out or dont show, thats life. However, how a company handle such events matter.
I had a stretch with Penn. Penn is so good and I leave there feeling so good. She goes the extra mile to give you the best service. Penn is a 5 star in my book.
I have been a ME customer for close to 20 years and have used many different locations. Up until about 18 months ago, I was very happy; however, that has all changed. The Augusta ME went through a period when they were extremely short-staffed and were booking 6-8 weeks out, which is not their fault. However, because of this, I was getting further and further behind on using my monthly membership services, despite active trying to catch up. I spoke with ME and we agreed that I would go on the Freeze Plus plan for up to 6 months and they would waive the fee for the first 3. I signed the paperwork in early Feb and booked out all my remaining services, which would have been used up by the end of March. Almost immediately, the phone calls and txts to cancel or change my appointments started. I can canceled 1 appointment, which was a double service, all the rest were canceled by ME. Because we booked all my services out, I was never informed that there was a booking requirement and when all the cancelations happened, it put me outside those requirements and I was reverted from the Freeze Plus plan back to my membership. They deny they initiated most of the cancelations and I am now back to being 6 services ($420) behind again. I will no longer be doing business with this company because I cant trust what they tell me and they cant seem to keep their scheduling straight.

Massage was great.It would be a better experience if the aroma was present. Most spas when you enter the building the fragrance begin the treatment. It smells like you are in for a treat.

I cant even comment on the quality of the massages here seeing as how I have yet to have one. What a complete disappointment.

I have been to alot of massage envys from California to Texas. Went in for a facial and it was one of the best experiences at a massage envy ever. I also did a stretch session right after my facial and it was also just as fantastic. I also have to give thanks to the young lady at the counter that recommended the stretch. I am purposely not mentioning the names of the massage therapists I had because I definitely want to go back to them again very soon.
Is it right to cancel with maybe an hours notice on a young mom who has been waiting to redeem the gift card she purchased pre-pandemic, mind you this is the third time she’s been cancelled by this location? Is it correct she’d have to pay ME +50% if she treated your time the same way? No, its not right or fair. What is your customer’s time worth? What is their future business worth? What are ME’s values, surely not this? How can ME make this right? How about this suggestion: refund our gift card.

I was looking forward to receiving a much needed relaxing massage when I was called roughly 45 mins prior to my appointment and told it had to be cancelled! I understand people do call out due to unforeseen circumstances. However, it is their policy for customers to cancel at least 24 hrs in advance if we have to cancel! I was offered an appointment for the next day with someone else which I couldn’t make do to a prior scheduled engagement! The kicker is they still charged my card and then acted as though they were doing me a favor when I called and asked for them to refund my money back to me because services were never rendered. Horrible customer service! The young lady at that answered the phone also stated that she didn’t see the appointment that was canceled so to the therapist calling out! She just saw the appointment that was scheduled for the day after which I never even made. I would Never book with them again even it it were free!

I visited Massage Envy today for a lymphatic massage, that had been scheduled since 12/26/2023. I was scheduled to visit with Tope and was informed today that she was no longer employed there. I specifically inquired about the change in provider because I had requested a lymphatic massage as part of a regimen that I have recently began for medical purposes. I asked the receptionist at the beginning of my appointment, if the current masseur, Angela, was able to do a lymphatic massage. The receptionist was uncertain, so she went to inquire with the manager on duty, Skyla. Once she confirmed and came back to the front desk, to my relief, she informed me that Skyla said that Angela was able to do the lymphatic massage. This, however, was not true. When Angela called me back for my appointment, she informed me that she was not licensed for the lymphatic massage, but she would be happy to help me with another service. I was taken aback that the manager on duty was not informed of what services each masseur offered at the establishment and willfully chose not to inquire with Angela or further research what the masseur was licensed to perform before I went back for service. I did not want to inconvenience Angela, because she was not at fault, so I did take advantage of the deep tissue massage. After the session was complete, I informed the receptionist that I had been misguided and Angela, in fact, was not licensed for lymphatic massage. I asked if the service could be discounted, and she stated that she could consult with her manager and see if I could be discounted or compensated for the discrepancy. After a few minutes wait, I was able to speak with the Front Desk Manager, Skyla, and she informed me that she was the one that had re-scheduled the appointment and there was no way for her to know in the system that I had scheduled a lymphatic appointment. She proceeds to tell me that Tope did not do lymphatic massages anyway, but I was informed that she did when I inquired at the initial scheduling plus Tope told me that she was able to do it because she witnessed the fluid I was physically retaining during our first session. It seems as though it was easier for Skyla to divert responsibility and it seem she was on path to insinuating that the discrepancy was my fault. I was very understanding and informed her that I understand that things happen, but it is definitely not the customers fault. In the end I had to strongly advocate for her to correct the situation and she finally agreed to give me a comp enhancement which is a free $10 or $15 service for my next visit. She also informed me that Rachel is the only masseuse currently at the establishment that gives lymphatic massages and shes booked out until the first week in March. I found it odd that she all of sudden knew, now, who was licensed for lymphatic massage, but didnt bother to inform me prior to meeting with Angela. I find this all to be very unfortunate because it was mine and my spouses intention to sign up for memberships this month because we both have medical care plans and want to utilize lymphatic massages as part of our therapy. I will be canceling the appointment that I have scheduledwith the measly comp enhancement because obviously my time and money werent appreciated at this establishment. Sklya could also use some training in listening to communicate instead of reactive responding. I was very pleasant, and she was not as professional as she could have been. I hope she gets better.

The customer service today was phenomenal. There is new management and staff here and I’m honestly blown out of the water. Their communication and problem solving considerations moved me immensely. I received a massage by Rachel and her hands were so warm even with the gloves she used, I fell asleep a couple times. Heard myself snore and everything. Embarrassing. Anyways. I’m very glad to walk in and not feel like I have to prepare to be neglected as I felt with previous service/staff. Customer service on a level I myself provided when I worked in customer service. It’s nice to be on the other end of compassionate and considerate service. Thank you for adding a great experience and memory to my life.

I have asked the manager to call me 3 times and they have not called me back. DO NOT JOIN MASSAGE ENVY!!! They are understaffed so you can never get an appointment and the staff that they have is awful. In the last few visits I have had my massage therapist “nod” out while giving a massage, another makes you feel uncomfortable/creepy, and the other was scared to touch your body and give you a decent massage! I have tried to call corporate but they said they can’t do anything. Don’t waste your money! This place used to be good but not anymore.

On the day of my appointment. I received a text saying my appt. was canceled. When l called they were very short and acted as though it was my fault. The person refused to give their name nor allow me to speak to a manager. This was a prepaid service for my anniversary. I felt belittled as though they didnt value me as a customer. When l advised her the services were already paid for. She then attempts toupsell me.

I had my first appointment with Jason May 18th and he was great. Receptionist asked if I wanted to join the membership because it would be cheaper at $75 a month and I would get additional services at a discount. She never explained the terms or conditions and like a trusting naïve person I authorized verbally for her to sign me up; I NEVER signed a contract nor did she give me a copy of my contract. Jason said for me to come back in two weeks but the next available time for him was a month out so I scheduled. It got canceled. They took $75 out of my account. I try online on their app and call to reschedule Jason is still unavailable for a month. I go into the store and tell Taylor I want to cancel my membership. She gives me the forms and I fill them out she says allow 10 days to take effect. She scheduled me with a new person on the 21st without my permission but called days later that they needed to reschedule. July 19 2023 they take out another $75. I go up there and Taylor; an unidentified male who said he was the manager and a woman named Ms. Brice who said she was the general manager was at the counter. Taylor greets me and I explain that I canceled my membership and they took my money again. Ms. Brice asks me to take a seat while Taylor pulls up my information. The manager had stepped away she goes to get him and he comes back with my cancellation form and says I can’t cancel and that I should have never been given the form. He never explained why and when I said the membership was not explained and they are taking money for service not rendered and I am canceling. Ms. Brice spoke up and said they would refund the $75 and gave me an appointment the next for a 60 minute massage with Jason and a 60 minute facial. They didn’t refund my money. I have reported them as a scam and fraud business. Don’t fall for the membership!!!

Avoid at all costs and save your money, time, and frustration. I am shocked this place is even in business. My wife and I have been members for many years - home base is FL. Any attempt to book at this Augusta facility is an absolute nightmare. I let my membership lapse with around 15 unused appointments because there is no availability within a given month. Its been this way for the past 2-3 years. My wife is persistent enough to book appointments far enough in advance...however, they call 30 mins - 2 hours before the appointment to cancel. Todays cancelled appointment takes the cake. We had booked her a Microderm infusion treatment and she took off work (again). She was contacted 2 hours before the appointment and it was cancelled. After speaking to a manager, we were informed that the manager had her own appointment for a microderm and would be using the necessary supplies. Thus, there would be no more supplies to accommodate my wifes appointment. Let that sink in...a manager explained to a paying customer...that she cancelled their appointment so they (the manager) could get treated. Whoever owns this facility should be aware that they are losing two long-term members due to numerous experiences like this. At no point in time have we ever been offered a refund, credit, etc. Only, Im sorry, we will have to reschedule.... Next stop BBB.

My husband and I booked a couples massage here and when we got there they said that they called us and we canceled which did not happen. Then went and made a new appointment for them to call and cancel on us. VERY DISAPPOINTED
Front desk was amazing per usual, however, my massage therapist was not. She seemed down and didnt even greet me. She called my name, told me which room to go in, said she never seen me before and told me her name was Rachel. Asked for areas to focus on and said imma step out and let you get dressed. Now normally, they are interacting with me, ask how im doing, if I want the table warmer on WHICH I DID! Afterwards they ask how Im feeling! The only thing I enjoyed was the pressure, and the fact that she didnt talk during my massage! I also dont like the fact that im there 10 mins early, get called to the back 2-5 Mins After my appointment time and massage be Over 5-10 Mins before my time is up. If Im paying for 60 mins I want my 60 mins! If you say be there early, I expect to be called early or ON TIME!

Just prefacing this with I was an employee at this location for a couple of months and after being there I see why clients are always wanting to cancel their accounts. This store is very short staffed, can’t keep employees and the store is very unorganized. The manager, Kameron, lies and tells clients he will cancel their account if they are unsatisfied but does not file away their documents nor does he remember to cancel the account most times which creates customer service issues for the front desk staff to deal with when they are charged for sessions they can’t even use due to scheduling conflicts. I was fired for a personal dispute with Kameron (after the store closed) over how store closing procedures and extra work that he promised to help me with that he did not help me with. 2 days later I was fired and one of the listed reasons was due to me wearing blue Jean overalls on Sunday July 30 which was a lie. I was dressed in business casual slacks and shirt.The manager Tisha (who fired me) and one of the owners Michelle did not review the cameras or lied in agreement with Kameron but refused to show me the footage of me wearing overalls. This lie was made up after the argument. The manager who was once my friend, went on my Facebook page, saw a pic I posted on July 30 which was taken the previous day and lied and said I wore that outfit to work. I have time and date stamped pictures and videos from the day in question but no one listened. It was just an added lie to get me fired because he was upset. I was dressed in business casual and yet was told that regardless of if I wore the jeans or business casual I was still in the wrong. My big issue is I was lied on about an outfit in which all the front desk has worn business casual but only I was fired for it even though the entire front desk staff wears business casual with no issues. Tisha told me that regardless i was in the wrong. The notice also stated that I was verbally and on paper written up several times when I had one written write up which was marked verbal warning and was supposed to have 3 more write ups to be fired. Again looking at time sheets, all employees including managers have been late several times yet I was singled out due to the argument. Following this I asked my termination paperwork and was sent falsified termination papers which listed tardiness as my only reason for being fired when that was not what was read to me nor discussed with Tisha. Also, the managers wife (who was hired by him but does the least work) wrote me on Facebook asking me to stop writing her husband but no accountability for their scams and lies. Current employees has done worse with no action against them. There was also flooding, mold and leaking rooms that have yet to be fixed but hidden so customers don’t complain. I’m upset about the lies and unfair termination. I do not want this job back I just want the truth to be exposed. To the owner and Tisha I hope you will review the camera from July 30, 2023.

My massage was exactly what I needed. I’m not sure of how to give the highest quality compliments lol, but Brittany is absolutely great at what she does. I came in with neck and should tension. During our session I felt like she released years worth of tightness and tension. I am excited to go back to her to cut a few more years of tightness down.The four star rating has nothing to do with Brittany. It is because, I called to book after checking the website for two months and never seeing a single opening. Excited because I finally have an appointment, I’m getting dressed early on the day of and I get a phone call saying that my appointment is canceled. The receptionist said that they would call me back to reschedule. That never happened and I waited another two weeks to get an appointment. The time between getting on and off of the table was not exactly 60 minutes either and I’m only disappointed because after getting canceled on I should have gotten all 60 of my minutes, AT LEAST. Instead of have an attitude on that day, I’m just notating it in the reviews. 🖤

Well unfortunately my very very long run at massage envy is coming to an end. Ive been a member since January of 2014 which is shocking and pure insanity. I currently still have 26 massages left that have been paid for and I have 60 days to use them 🤣 but they are pretty much booked out for 6 weeks so I woukd have to get 1.5 services a day for two weeks to use what I paid for already. if you have a flexible schedule and can book a month or two in advance go for it. The business model is great for ME not so great for customers like me.its funny though when I travel I usually can get in a location in other towns or cities the next day, so obviously this location is grossly understaffed and has been for years.With that being said Jason gave a fantastic massage……. I cant in good faith recommend this business model or this location.Goodbye ME from a 2014 Customer
Very disappointing. Became a member two years ago. Since then things have deteriorated.A month ago I booked an appointment for 8/6 at 3pm for a 90 minute massage. On 8/4 they called and confirmed that everything was perfect and Id get my massage as scheduled.On 8/5 they called and left a message to call them back. Between my own clients, I called. They couldnt accommodate my appointment; they had booked me over a therapists break. So my scheduled massage became a 60-minute instead. Ill admit, I heard them say 3:30.Today, 8/6 at 0900 I realized that I may have misheard the time. So I called in to verify. ... They had moved it to 2:30pm. No way I could make that with my existing schedule, and lining nearly an hour away. So I requested they cancel.I tried to schedule an appointment for September, but the therapist hadnt provided her availability yet. I wasnt even offered the option of using someone else. -- It cost me 30 minutes of time against my membership to reschedule something they had changed. The person who answered the phone was curt and couldnt get off the phone fast enough... She didnt even say goodbye.It has been nearly impossible to schedule an appointment without them changing it, which theyve done the last three times. Sadly I have three hours prepaid that Ill lose if I cancel my membership.Two years ago, my first experience with this company was: Im still floating...
The skin care specialist was knowledgeable, but she lacked spa etiquette. Speaking loudly, excessive talking, didnt seem warm & inviting. She didnt examine my skin after cleansing & no steam treatment or did she provide feedback and suggestions. Also, I had residual exfoliator in my ears, chest & shoulder area. I asked the receptionist was there someone more senior to her & was told that she is actually the trainer. Needless to say, I will not be returning and Im a member.

Its impossible to get an appointment here!!! I have 3 gift cards cause I use to use Massage Envy in Charlotte but the Augusta location NEVER has appointments available. The two I did schedule were canceled day of. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!

The reason that I gave 2 stars is because the aura at Massage Envy has surely changed from past years. I dont get the warm and fuzzy feeling that I used to get, upon entering the spa. Also, the past few times that I went to receive services, the rooms were extremely hot.Furthermore, the services felt rushed through. I never get the full amount of time because I always have to do paper work before my services, and there was an enhancement added on to my most recent facial that I did not ask for. They didnt charge me for it, but still......Lastly, Im 6 mos pregnant, and I walked out of the spa hurting worse than when I went in. In my past experiences with prenatal facials and massages, the therapists were knowledgable about how to position pregnant women for comfort, but I was very uncomfortable. The facial wasnt relaxing. The young lady that did my facial was sweet, but she wasnt as experienced as I would prefer.The young lady that did my massage was very sweet and tried to make me as comfortable as possible, but just couldnt manage.Ill be canceling my membership.

Daniel is an amazing massage therapist! My first visit a young lady did it and she was sweet just not what I needed or what I was looking for. When I found Daniel all my sessions are 90 minutes unless he’s booked up and I have to settle on 60 minutes. I also have enhancements along with my sessions, rapid tension machine and the feet detox. He’s professional at his work, makes you feel comfortable and at ease, and is amazing with his hands (professionally)!!

I had a 30 minute rapid tension session followed by a 60 minute stretch. I arrived early but wasnt called back till 2:08 and I turned my phine off and I had about a 15 minutes rapid tension then she went on with the stretch and then I went to the rest room and the through the check out and learned the rapid tension was $39.00 so I waited for my charge card and went to my car. I turned my phone back on and realized it was 3:18
It’s February 8, 2023, I still stand by this review that I posted in November 2022. Daniel is still the Best, in my opinion. Just had my massage with rapid tension done yesterday. He has not changed his disposition; he still provides total patient care to his clients! CUDOS Daniel!!I am reposting this because my experience this time was just as great as the first one. I looked forward to my massage. And just as before, Daniel was kind, respectful, polite and professional. I admire his work ethics. CUDOS Daniel!! (11-01-2022)It was my first massage this year. It’s been soo hard to get an appointment because they stay so booked. But I finally got in. My specialist was a guy (Daniel); first instinct, I was just shy of being nervous, then before I signed in, I relaxed. Once my session began, I immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. Daniel was just as kind, respectful and polite as they come. He applied just the right amount of pressure needed, in those areas of my back that give me the most pain. And he also made sure I was ok, throughout the session. I would recommend him to you guys, but then, that makes my chances of getting back in with him, very slim 😁! But honestly, he’s great and I do recommend him.
The membership is a good deal, but the wait time to get a massage is too long and when they cancel appointments, there is no make up session-you are forced to wait until the next opening which can be months.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE MEMBERSHIP!The massage therapists are great (hence the 2 stars) but everything else is complete disorganization. If you sign the membership contract expect to not cancel for a whole year, if you try to they will only extend the contract even for financial hardship reasons. You can barely get in for your monthly massage. They have cancelled on us so many times that its ridiculous. They wont reimburse you just give you credits but again good luck trying to get in. I have never experienced a business where you pay for something monthly and you do not receive services of any kind. When I finally called to talk to someone after the 5th cancellation on their part, the admin kept talking over me and not hearing my concerns or frustrations with this process. I can keep going on and on but this process is a joke. I had over 5 credits which means at least 5 months of no services because of lack of availability of therapists or them cancelling. There are no perks to actually being members. Again the massage therapists are great and i have enjoyed the massages I have received but the management does not seem to actually know that they are doing.
This review is not in anyway directed at the service providers but instead toward the front desk and management. I have been a member for sometime and been to several other locations. The communication of both the front desk and the management team is poor. Multiple times my appointments have been rescheduled or canceled with little to no reasons. My request for a preferred provider is always ignored. The staff is ever changing, with the way the management speaks toward their staff publicly I am not surprised. My therapists work is all undone when I have deal with the negative attitudes at the front desk during check out. The manager on duty, Tiffany, has the worst attitude of them all. I have had to talk to her on several occasions and she has never been professional. My advice is do not support this franchise. I received several gift cards for Message envy totalling over $300I initially made an appointment & asked what was needed going forward. I was told just arrive at my appointment since I had gift cards. After waiting nearly a month for my appointment I received a phone call telling me that I was canceled because a tech wasnt available for my appointment. I rescheduled a 2nd appointment & after waiting another month I was told I was canceled once again because I didnt have a credit card on file. Although initially I was told nothing else was needed. If this was procedure I could appreciate it if you would have told me this initially as opposed canceling me & making me wait once again for an appointment. A credit provision was no problem but waiting another month for an appointment definitely wasnt going to work for me whatsoever...!I requested a refund for all of the gift cards & they refused to refund me for the gift cards.Wow, really... it appears that I received the run around.Maybe someone else will have better luck if you are willing to take the chance.This just appeared to be unprofessional, poor communication along with bad business practices.I guess they trick you to buy gift cards & cancel your appointments until you give up...!Very tacky in my opinion...
My husband and i are having Partner massages for 2 years now and love our sessions.After my therapist left we had problems to get the right combination on the same time in place.Nobodys fault just life.Daniel is the man of the hour after my hubby had a massage with him yesterday.... and I will not give him up..... so now we do not share a room together anymore but have back to back massages ☺☺☺
I had a great experience from the front desk staff, LeeAnn is such a sweetheart! To my therapist Edward. Im usually very sensitive and dont go for the high pressure massages but felt I might need it since I have been working out daily for over a month now. He did such a great job finding my problem areas and working out the knots. I will be back!

I always recieve excellent service at the Augusta, GA location. The only issue ia the availability of appointments. I have a monthly subscription however I havent been able to schedule a service every month due to lack of therapist. This is becoming a major concern for me. I may end my subscription it this doesnt change.
I only come to Massage Envy for Daniel H. He is amazing. His hands are warm and soft and has just the right amount of firmness. I am looking forward to the day he gets his own spa. I must admit I loath massage envy! The are never consistent with the amount I need to pay. They have my husband wrong information so that he would purchase gift certificates and then pulled a bait and switch. I would not spend one red cent here ever again or even come back if it was free. But Daniel H when you get that spa hit your girl up, my husband, my sister and brother in law and myself will all be following you.
Convenient scheduling options online. My massage therapist Jason was great, and listened to my problem areas I was having and was able to work out the knots and discomfort I had in my back and neck.
This establishment uses outdated and grotesquely irresponsible practices in obtaining credit card info over the phone. They allow customers to call in with whomever credit card the caller has in his/her possession to use as their payment draft, gratuity, product purchases,etc.They do not check to see if the name on the card matches to the caller, “as it can be done over the phone”.When and if someone adds your card info to their account, Massage Envy will not change it until the “unauthorized person” calls in to change it! They will also refuse or “not be able to “ issue a refund.In addition to the poor fraud prevention practices, It is a revolving door for employees! You will see one therapist/technician for a month then receive a call that the therapist is no longer with the company! You will have to wait one to two months in order to have make up services rendered.I referred my husband, sister, aunt and mom to this establishment and I regret that I did. I should have waited to see how well they run first. My family members who I referred also regret that they joined for at least one of the issues I mentioned above!If you must use services from them, it may be “safer” to pay as you go instead of entering into a contract with them.I am not disgruntled, I am disappointed that in this day and age, there are establishments like this who serves as a breeding pool for credit card theft/ misuse or worse!Again if you decide to give them a try, Nathalia is great for facials and Daniel for massages. Also the massage chair in the waiting room is A+! Just protect your card info as anyone will be allowed to use it over the phone.
Started almost 15 minutes late and ended over 10 minutes early.
I have been paying for a membership with them for months. MONTHS! And have not been able to receive anything. I have scheduled appointments and they have all been canceled by them. I will never do a membership with them again. 60$ every month I expect to have a massage or something that month and it gets canceled. I am not happy about it at all. I have a frozen shoulder and was really needing this and now nothing.

RACHEL and BRITTANY was very familiar with their pressure point areas of your body. Everyone was very pleasant from the desk clerks to our massagers. They made sure that safety was a plus. We had on our masks before entering as posted on the door. Yall ladies will be seeing us again..... Book yall massages today.
I get massages and facials at Massage Envy. Staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. I never feel uncomfortable. Skylar gives a great facial and has given me great advice on taking care of my skin. Daniel gives a great and relaxing massage. All the tension and stress just melts away. Its a great place, but dont take my spot!
My experiences with Massage Envy have always been top notch; in particular, Jason and Venia have always taken excellent care to insure that my needs were met.IMO, therapeutic massage (deep tissue) addresses more of my needs and Jason knows how to communicate with me to find the perfect balance.Venia handles stretching to help keep my range of motion at optimum levels.I always feel better when I’m able to book with them, and getting them both in my schedule within days of each other is absolutely an added bonus!
Great ServiceNot sure whats up with all the negative reviews... Ive been to many Massage Envy locations and this one is on par. I have no issues with anything and have had great massages. The girls at the front desk have been nice and have always given prompt service. Id keep going here and would recommend to others. At the time of this review Ive have (2) 60 min massages and the wife (1) 60 min massage.
Rachel and Jason provided superb services. My husband and I were very relaxed and appreciate removing the stress in our bodies.
My massage was perfect. This was my first experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely be coming in again to have services performed by Daniel. He was awesome!
They Canceled my appt 3 hours before I was to go for a facial. I had made arrangements as a caregiver to have some me time for the 1st time in a long time. They should have a back up plan. They could squeeze me in the following week but that just isnt good service to me. I will find another place.

My review is not towards any of the massage therapist but towards the administrative staff. The policy of this franchise and of Massage Envy is horrible. I for one am not someone whod like to waste a dime or someone whos habitual in being late or do no call no shows. I scheduled an appointment through the app and not realizing it the app saved the appt in Central time. I arrived at center at my time of 1pm that shows on my calendar and the appt got canceled and they took some of my sessions away from me.When I explained the situation to all of mgmt their lack of empathy, care, or customer service is terrible.
Absolutely horrible. I called to make an appointment and although they had appointments available they told me I couldnt use my points for a friend and I because they are a non member. when I asked to speak to a manager they told me there was no one available until next week. I asked about how to cancel my membership because this has been the last issue in a long line with this particular place, they told me there was no one available to help me until again next week. I asked if there was anyone in charge and she said no everyone was gone. I understand that if you have to leave your company for other business but it should me basic practice to leave someone in charge that has the trust to take care of things while you are gone. ... apparently Aubrey is the manager and Dwayne Harper owner. This review isnt directed at my thearpist, Daniel, who was awesome. This is directed at mangement and the team that schedules appointments. My appointment was orginally scheduled for 3pm, and got rescheduled to 5:45pm without my knowledge, which I found out via the call you get the day before your appointment.There was absolutely no consideration for my time. They simply moved it without telling me. I took the only other earlier opening they offered which conflicted with another appointment I had, which meant I had to cut my service with Massage Envy short, because of their incompetence. A shame too, because the service itself was nice.My girlfriend who was the one to give me the credit for this visit is cancelling her service with them because of the similar issues that have happened on countless other occasions.This location made absolutely no attempt at keeping her as a customer when she called to cancel, by the way.

I wish I read them before signing up for this membership! 12 months at 60 a month is $720 in which I was just told the prices of membership went up so I paid $725 and have 12 sessions lined up and being told I have 60 days to use it or I lose it! This is a SCAM! I relocated and I would have canceled my membership before allowing this much to come out and I not receive anything and I was told I can’t transfer the sessions to other people because you can only do one a month. I would not recommend this location or company to anyone!
I love getting my facials done here. I have very sensitive skin and all the girls do great work and give great advice for after care... Skylar and Moana work later in the day abd fits my work schedule best.
The therapist is awesome, however the company policies are against the member! Changing the hours prevents us to be seen in later hours and when we have a lot of hours built up and question the pausing the membership to use up some of the hours its not allowed so our hours just keep building. Unable to use because of your hours changed and taking money for service we cant get to. And if we cancel our membership we have to use up 5 to 6 or however many hours racked up in a very short period of time, completely unfair to the member and especially since the service is already paid for. If not used by the given time to use your hours we loose them as well as the money already spent by US. This needs to be addressed and adjusted so the member gets to use Time paid for in advance. I’ve been two times now, both massages were very soothing. Staff was very friendly. I only wish it was easier to schedule a deep tissue massage as that is what I prefer, but there is very limited availability.You are required to wear a mask the entire session, which is a con for me, but I respect a private business’ right to enforce or not enforce this.
Had a massage earlier today. I am am member but I just moved to the area so it was my 1st time at this location. Front desk staff were extremely nice, above and beyond what Id expect, even going back to my initial contact with them last week when I called to book an appointment. I had a massage with Amaby, who was very sweet, and did a nice job. Then I had a facial with Regina, who was also fantastic. At the desk and in the waiting area, I also observed other clients getting good service around me. As this is the closest location to my new home, I was pleased with the service here, and am surprised by the other negative comments.That said, I have a suggestion. The location I used in Massachusetts before I moved here offered heated neck wraps to clients after they check in to wear as they wait in the waiting area pre-massage. It was something I really looked forward to at every visit, and hope to someday see that amenity here in the Augusta branch.

I bought my mom a gift card here because she always complains about her leg hurting. It was her birthday and I wanted to do something nice. Well she ended up going in and getting a massage a few months after her birthday since the pandemic put everything off. She loved it!! Convenient location to target and nail salon which you women enjoy.
I have had the WORSE experience with Massage Envy. I am a member, paying $60 monthly and can not get appointments. The whole point of me becoming a member was to flexibility to have appointments anytime and not worry about being booked. I have tried to get appointments weeks ahead and they are only available during the times I am at work. I work 8-4 , M-F and cant leave work to get a massage at 12. This has been a horrible experience. I just want to get out of this contract because I am unable to book appointments that are convenient for my work schedule. Other companies have a more open schedule and I can call the day before and get an appointment but with Massage Envy, I cant get appointments for weeks at a time!!
I joined the Augusta location based on the excellent services from the other locations in Atlanta. This location has been nothing unprofessional with unethical business practices I knew I had an appointment this evening, I did not get an email reminder with the appointment time which is what I have had in the past, so I asked my assistant to call and verify and only to found out that it is at 7 pm which conflicts with another appointment. I called at 3:30 pm to reschedule and was told they will have to charge my credit card for same day cancellation. If you are going to send reminders, its only appropriate to do all the time. I will not be coming back and will use my platform to share my displeasure with my friends.
I love this location. I was hesitant to go because other massage envys have harassed me to sign up for a plan, even calling my phone when I left. This place doesnt and is very respectful of their clients. I loved the girl at the front desk and feel terrible that i cant remember her name!! Cal did my massage and was AWESOME. I am typically uncomfortable with a male masseuse, but he made the experience so comfortable and relaxing. I have already scheduled an appointment to come back!

In the middle of a pandemic they would not work with me to preserve my sessions despite the fact that I cannot get a massage right now per my physician. Rude, had a positive case and did not inform us when I went in. Horrible service including the regional manager. Denied Covid is a thing. Ridiculous. I will never use them again. I understand why I have been contacted about multiple lawsuits against them. Now I will join one. Not sanitary and rude. No way to run a business

I got a Microderm Infusion from the Esthetician , Skylar, and it was was amazing! She was very informative. She knows exactly what she’s doing. Her skills as an esthetician is top notch! I have to go back again. Everyone should book with her!

Ive been to Massage Envys in 3 different states and this one is the WORST! This one finally made me decide to cancel my membership. The front desk personal are discourteous and rude. They make it quite clear they have no intention of assisting you, beyond taking your name for an appointment. Dont look for explanations of services, membership or customer service here!The last experience was bad enough that I decided to eat the half cost and just cancel my next appointment. I actually was dreading going enough to cancel. That should say a lot about something that is supposed to relax you.
Beings that they only pay their therapist at minimum 17-20 per service ONLY. And the never ending demands they put on their employees while they go above and beyond for their clients—- people should stop complaining so much. You expect the world for $60 !? Come on people get a grip!! This place is a decent business to get a massage. This is for people on a BUDGET. Be grateful that you are touched during pandemic. The people working here are truly nice people who have families at home and are just doing the best they can.
Every time I have come to this location for an appointment I had to wait for over 30 minutes, sometimes more. I had to go ask what the problem was each time, they did not come check on me which you would thing would be the case since they are the ones providing a service. I had to be given different technicians due to their errors - that’s why I had been waiting. I also canceled my membership due to military orders yet they still charged my credit card for service two months in a row until I canceled the credit card. Do not use this location if you Bailey good customer service and your money.
Daniel takes time to listen to his customer and address the issues. He is very professional and takes pride in his work. He is amazing and the best MT that I have ever had.He cares!
Brittany is a good massage therapist! Im a one of her regulars and she is consistent and professional.The sound system at this ME location needs help. Music genre does not always match with relaxation. Sound system jumps tracks abruptly in the middle of a piece--annoying when trying to relax.
Kwanchakorn is amazing! Brittany is amazing! There are two many issues getting appointments and the company keeping them. They have also increases their prices by about 35%!
Skylar was great! Very informative and we had a nice chit chat also. Definitely helped me decide on whether or not to go to a dermatologist and also recommended products to help even skin tone.
Rachel was very pleasant and good conversation. I rated 4 due to no aromatherapy smell in the room. Didn’t know it was an additional fee for that.

I scheduled a massage online for 9am. I went in only to be told my confirmation didn’t go through. Angel the front desk employee stated it happens often and they have no control over the app. I even showed proof of my confirmation to her and she said they still can’t honor it but I could just reschedule. Customer service isn’t their number 1 goal. I plan to reach out to corporate.Below you guys posted a link. I reached out to that link and still did not receive any help to resolve the issue. They passed the buck to the business owner because they don’t have a corporate. Still have not heard from the business owner.
Jason was great, very patient with my concerns regarding this ME requirement to wear a mask whilst your face down. I’ve been to multiple MEs around the US since Covid began and NO ONE had this dangerous policy.In light of the CDCs latest announcement regarding mask isn’t it time to get with the science and let your clients breath????
The is most terrible place I ever experienced in my whole life!!!! This is my first time to write review. I would give negative start if I have the choice.I signed my contract for 6 months in March, 2016, and i stopped to go back this place at all after few times visits, because of the poor service. I thought my contrast would terminated September, 2016. I just found out recently, this place keeping charge me every month until now July, 2017, even my credit card was expired. They just rushed me to sign the contract , but no one ever explained to me that it will be automatic charging after 6 months contract, they just informed that was only 6 months contract. When I called them, they didt want to listen to me and didnt want to solve my problem and told me i only had two months left to use my 13 services, otherwise I would lose all of them which was about $700. How can i go back to enjoy relaxing massage services if I already distrust this place? They refused to refund my money because they can not. I dont understand why they can not refund me, since i never used their services. As a customer, I have right to request get my refund back if i am not happy with my purchasing. In this situation, i even didnt agree to pay this monthly member fee. I am not the only victims. there are many other customs complaint the same problem, you can find these complaints from google, yelp, even Better Businesse Bureau. This is dishonest bushiness, fraudulent charging from customs. This place tries their best to take money from their customs, even dont mind to use fraud.Do not go to this place if you want to be a customer who can have your deserved right.
Staff here is always friendly, efficient, and professional. Also, the establishment is clean and offers a respite or haven of sorts from the noise, dust, and heat (in the summer) of the city streets.
I must say the massage was great; however, Envys terms and conditions are horrible. I had a gift certificate and still had to give my credit card number. The massage cost was $50.00, leaving me with a difference of $25.00. When I asked to schedule another appointment, I was informed with cost would be $135.00 unless I got a membership for $60.00 a month. I definitely would not recommend anyone to use Envy unless you going for a one time massage. Now Im stuck with a $25.00 certificate I cant use unless I pay an additional $110.00. What a scam.

Been going here for several months. I had mostly very good therapists and a couple who were outstanding but be forwarned their advertising is misleading. An hour massage is really only 50 minutes if you are lucky!! The business side of it is TERRIBLE!! The bookkeeping is poor and when you have account questions, you are referred to someone in a remote location! Dont waste your time. You will end up disappointed and frustrated!
1st time customer and this place couldnt get the appointment correct. Called the ONLY massage envy in Augusta to set appointment on Dec for February to find out no appointment was set. VERY dissapointed and DO NOT recommend. Was purchased for a gift for me and have yet been able to ude.
I reserved a couples massage for Valentines Day, only to show up and see they had cancelled my (but not my girlfriends) appointment. They told me I called and canceled my appointment, but I didnt. There was obviously a mix up somewhere, the only problem was they continued and continued and continued to TELL me I had canceled. It was like I was in the twilight zone! I started to actually believe I had canceled, but alas I didnt. The whole experience was annoying and didnt make for a good Valentines Day morning. Horrible customer service and management that absolutely cannot admit when they are dead wrong combines for a poor service overall. Dont waste your time, youll be next with this crew running things.
Although it did feel wonderful, I wished the massage therapist would have focused more on my total body. It was a wonderful experience. I don’t think there was enough time to do the whole body.

The therapists are always late for apts and the business manager is very rude. Theres a 10$ fee for facials on top of the 60(if youre a member) facial fee! Their tables dont heat up(at least half the ones Ive been on). The massages themselves arent terrible but they dont make up for the rest of their issues.
I joined ME in Colorado and was thrilled to find one here in Augusta when I moved. I love everything about ME from the front desk staff to the massage therapists. I dont understand all the negative comments. Some of the best therapists are booked out for several weeks and that is why I bring my calendar in with me so I can schedule my next appt when I check out. I think you would find that anywhere. I am grateful that ME is available here in Augusta
I had to cancel my membership in February. They mistakenly charged me for March and have been waiting for 5 weeks for a refund with no action.
They consistently cancel and don’t have enough staff to reschedule typically for another month and a half out. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
I have to say this has to be the worst massage I have ever had. Me and my fiancé both felt the same when we discussed the massage. When we walked in the establishment was very clean and well put together. We had to fill out a questionnaire about what we wanted done during the massage, however none of those areas were actually addressed. I specifically asked that my feet be focused on and they were touched once. The pressure was nonexistent. Service was overall subpar. Masseuse seemed like she was a beginner
Ms Kham Phen provides an excellent stretch session. She stretches the whole body and will also focus on any area of concern.
Yesterday I received a facial from Skyler. It was an awesome experience. She is great at her work and has an awesome personality. I will be rescheduling for more facials.
The place was clean and the staff friendly. But after taking my health information and the areas I needed worked she went nowhere near my glutes. The massage stopped at my upper hip and began again midway down my thigh. It did nothing for my sciatica. I realize I could have said something. But seriously, Im not asking someone to work my glutes if they arent aware how. I suppose they are okay for a relaxing massage, but not for someone who needs any type of pain relief.Oh, and avoid the sugar foot scrub. It cuts too much time off the massage for something you can do at home
Skyler did a great job on my facial (microdermabrasion) and she even recommended products for me to try to improve my skin. It was a great first experience here.

So far it has been a bad experience with customer service. I was scheduled for a massage and when i got to my appointment on schedule i was not to be found. Huge inconvenience. I was asked to rechedule with no reimbursements or anything. And a few weeks back the massage theropist wouldnt stop talking or stop bragging on how good she was. Annoying. Place needs a better manager.

Horrible customer service. I was lied to by my local Augusta, GA Massage Envy. They told me if I signed up for their $59.99 monthly program that I would receive a free massage and that I could cancel at anytime. False. They locked me into a twelve month contract that they refused to let me out of without either a doctors note or moving at least 25 miles away from any Massage Envy location. Will never go to one of these again, and will ensure that no one I know will go either.

I try to to get my massage from Rachel every time I go to Massage Envy Augusta! She does deep pressure and understands how the body works! I always leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
My therapist is an extremely talented professional. My back, hamstrings and quadriceps are much more flexible following my routine stretch sessions!!! Amazing!!
So today I have an appt for me and my friend (my birthday) at 1100. I call they say well we didnt get a payment so we cancelled your appt. I have a new card and Ive told them that more than once. Then the VERY RUDE Taylor.. who had poor customer service (and this is like my 5 time having am encounter with her) says We called us this date, and this date) I look at my phone not one freakin call!!!So they cancel my appt and book my friends appt??? Shes not even a member, but when I was trying to get an appointment to become a member it took FOREVER!!!! I CAN SEE WHY THEY HAVE 2.6 STAR RATING!!.trust me today Im spreading the word on social media and to all my military friends, that they are better off going somewhere else.

Highly annoyed that I just spent 25mins driving to this location and waiting 15mins in the waiting room just to find out the person that was going to give me a massage had car problems (which they knew priror to my appointment because the manager told me that) and couldnt make it. I asked why they didnt call me prior to the appointment and tell me this and the manager told me they just found out, 15 mins after the hour. Dont know why they would schedule her a massage if she wasnt sure she would even make it in because of her car issues.
Took my daughter for a deep tissue massage. Edward was great. He really worked out her body aches. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Scheduled an appointment online; arrived 20 minutes early just for them to tell me I don’t have an appointment scheduled and will like me to schedule in person for another date after driving 40 minutes; then had the nerve to call as I was parking to inform me. They want to blame it on the system but common courtesy would be to inform the customer way in advanced not 20 minutes before the appointment.

I’ve looked for an appointment here for two months straight almost every day and nothing is ever open for the next two months. I’m going to start driving to Columbia SC. All three of their stores have plenty of appointments. Is the augusta store even open? I’ve never seen an ME with absolutely no appointments ever. Go now and search for an appointment and you won’t find one ever.
I arrived 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork, sat in a room waiting for another 10 minutes waiting on someone to return to get me after filling out papers. Massage therapist walked in and directed me towards a corner where the tip table was told to undress to my comfort level and he would return in a few minutes. When the massage started he had a technique with a deep/heavy pressure rub that was almost breath taking with the pressure when I asked him to lessen the pressure he told me that he was the expert and that I should just relax. He told me to keep my arms on the table next to me. When I let my arm fall off he stopped the massage came to the side of the table my arm fell off and wrapped my arm in the covers and told me to keep it there. He then returned to the othe side and wrapped the other arm and told me to keep my arms in place on the bed. He stated I see you kept on your socks, are your feet cold or something , I responded yes. When the actual massge started it was decent; however, he was supposed to massage my pectoralis muscles, we never got there he said well you got on the table at 10 till its now 10 after your massage is done.
Daniel was amazing. I never fell asleep on a massage table but today…..that happened. He is truly gifted.
There is some sort of water gurgling noise, like pipes bubbling, plus often the music cuts off before the song ends, and another song starts. It’s distracting and uncomfortable.Otherwise, great service and safety precautions.

I would not recommend going to this Massage Envy location at all. I joined Massage Envy at a location in Norfolk, VA, and I loved my experience there. After moving to Augusta, this was the only Massage Envy location, and I was so unhappy with this place that I stopped going here as soon as my year contract was up.
