I’ve been getting my hair done Leena for a while now and she’s done an awesome job every time. I originally came to her to get a balayage as well as my first major haircut in forever (chest to chin length) and she asked really good questions throughout the appointment to make sure that it came out exactly like I was wanting, which it did!She’s super chill and easy to talk to, so overall a great experience every time.

I hired the salon for my wedding and they were one of my best vendors!! Cinci and Madalyn were assigned for my wedding and went way above any expectation I had. I got a million compliments on my wedding day and I’ve honestly never felt that beautiful. I’m so grateful for these ladies and the salon for making me feel the best I’ve ever felt for such an important day 💕

I have had multiple haircuts from Mandy Vidotto. She has done a fantastic job helping me figure out what I want to do with my hair, and realizing those ideas. 10/10 would recommend.

I made an appointment this morning with a stylist. Thirty minutes before my appointment, later that evening, the stylist texts to say she is running late and “Im seeing very short cuts in your past notes- typically are not my expertise. Dont want to waste your time. Just let me know!”It would have been nice to know this alot earlier so that I could have made other plans. Very unprofessional. I am flying out tomorrow for surgery and really needed to get a haircut since I not be able to for 6 weeks.

I haven’t had a decent haircut in a decade or more. The last time (NOT at Salon Mystique) it was so bad I shaved my head after! My hair was really long when I went in for a bob today, my first ever (and I’ve always wanted one). I did my homework first and read allll the reviews. I settled on Leena and I’m so glad I did! She did an absolutely WONDERFUL job on my hair. I haven’t felt this cute in honestly ages. I really appreciate the time she took talking to me about what I wanted and right away I trusted her. I will never let anyone else cut my hair. I’m so happy!

I had a hair cut and highlights that were very well done. Leena does a wonderful job and I’m always very happy with my hair cut and color that she does for me. She is also a great stylist if you have curly hair or if you would like to blend grey hair.

I decided to come here due to my regular hair stylist being fully booked today, and I gotta say I was not disappointed. Mikey did a wonderful job cutting my hair. She asked me several questions to make sure she could give me the haircut that I was wanting and even made sure I was okay with the thickness of my bangs, which I truly appreciated because I’ve been dissatisfied with how they came out the last couple times a random stylist at some other place cut them.Mikey was gentle and a very polite lady. I 100% recommend her.

Loved Kylea’s work, I’m in amazed with the result! Friends recommended her and I’m glad I listened! She made excellent recommendations for my long hair! Leena G has been taking care of my cut and color since summer 2022. Her attention to detail and her talent leaves me walking out of the salon happy with the results. She is very gifted and delivers the perfect cut and color.

I came here to have my hair blown out and styled for my wedding ceremony for my grandparents to witness (they’re both 91 years old, so we decided to have a separate ceremony earlier and have them sign as our witnesses). Cinci was my stylist and she was phenomenal, made great conversation and made my hair look beautiful. I lucked out that she wasn’t working a wedding that day, so I ended up with a bridal stylist kind of unplanned. Highly recommend her for blow outs, styles for events and more.

My 3 daughters and I use Brittany Marlow at Salon Mystique in Belterra. Brittany is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to all of our concerns. Additionally, Salon Mystique is a wonderful place to be, creating a pleasant atmosphere for our hair appointments.

They are AMAZING!! I’ve gone for highlights, a spray tan, and a prom updo and they have yet to disappoint. The boutique and art gallery are so cute and the cafe is a great addition. I highly recommend Amber if you are getting your hair colored. I will be going back!

I see Maddy for my regular wax and she literally meets all my needs. She is friendly, timely, aware of the regular wax pain, and knows what she is doing. I had been looking for an affordable wax in this area (Dripping Springs) for awhile that is simple, quick, and good and so far, the best is Maddy. Thank you for saving me time and money, girl! Also, note that the Salon scheduling and front desk service is a very nice added bonus.

My stylist was Chrissy, I scheduled my appointment with her last night since my old hair dresser that I’ve been with for the last 10 years couldn’t get me in for two weeks. Chrissy was very professional, sweet and did an amazing job! I was extremely impressed by her work and will definitely be coming back for all my hair stylist needs! #glamorousbychrissy

ALWAYS happy!! I had the lovely privilege of meeting Ciara, the Blowout manager and have had her style my hair several times. LOVE her! I tried to get an appointment with her for Saturday morning but she was booked solid. My daughter and I had a Mom and Daughter date so we had to take a chance with staff we did not know... (always a bit nerve racking) we were SO happy with the outcome of our hair! Nicole styled my daughters hair with gorgeous smooth curls and I was styled by Mikey, who gave me a beautiful, loosely curled style that matched my dress perfectly! It is awesome to know that the employees here are highly skilled in their field; thank you ladies!!

I am sure there are great stylist at this place but stay away from Angela. My wife has been in tears for two days. She came home with three different colors when she was just trying to get her roots cleaned up. For a whopping $165.00 She now has Brown, Red and Yellow. In an effort to work with Angela to resolve the issue before the holidays she was basically told Its look better than when you came in, her other comment was This is all I can do in two hours Moments after the follow up appt. was cancelled by the stylist as she obviously does not guarantee her work and has no customer service skills. Its a shame that the salon will be impacted by this unskilled stylist. We will also take this to Facebook and all local publications.

I’ve been seeing Allie for years. I’m so glad she’s in Salon Mystique now and closer to Austin!Such an amazing value and such high quality work. I regularly get my hair dyed and love how vivid her color always looks. Every time I’ve had a request she’s hit it dead on - especially love the blondes and blues!! Won’t let anyone else touch my hair.

I live in California and will ONLY let Kylea touch my hair. Its worth the trip! I had a terrible color and cut last year in Sacramento and was so afraid to let anyone near me... Until Kylea. And Im so comfortable with her, and confident in her abilities, that Im finally doing more with my hair and am excited to try new things. I followed Allied to Salon Mystique and I love her new space! As always, the final product came out great. I always get a root touch up, and this time some highlights, and a cut. I went here for the first time and had LISA, for correction highlights and color. I can’t say enough on how she fixed my color and highlights. She’s been in the business for over 30 years and also taught me valuable info on how to care for color treated highlights! I found my girl. Go see her, she’s amazing at her craft!!!! I’m picky and it says a lot to find someone who does what you ask. She’s utterly amazing!

Nice and clean. Friendly behind the desk. Great choices in hair stylist.They have free wifi. Which helps. The food up front is surprisingly really good.The waiting area has nice big couches.The only thing I dont like is u dont get to see itemized receipt before signing to check out. So there is no way to see charges.The painting or art work on the walls are a nice touch. Love seeing local artist works of art. All for sale too.

Brittany Marlow has been coloring and cutting my hair for years now and the results are always fantastic the color is always good quality and the cut always comes out exactly how I want it she’s friendly, patient and has great customer service.

I’ve been getting my hair highlighted and cut at Salon Mystique for years. The stylist are very talented, professional and friendly. Another perk, is all the beautiful artwork the lines the hallways. 😀

I soooo wanted to love this salon. It really is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I was on a day trip and decided to refresh my color. (HUGE mistake)The salon looked very professional so I gave them a try. I was assigned to Allie. She is very friendly but maybe not as up to date on color as she should be. She applied an all over high lift color to my blonde hair. When she rinsed the color out ,my hair was orange!!! She said dont judge it until its dry. I was in disbelief. She then applied a toner. My roots are bright yellow and the rest of my hair is a weird mix of purple, grey and white. I was so disappointed. To add insult to injury my total was $200!!!!!!! What the heck??? I should have refused to pay the outrageous price but I was so mortified I just ran my card and left. Allie did offer to redo my hair in the upcoming weeks but I live over an hour away from Salon Mystique, so I cant just hop back in to have this mess fixed. I was refused a refund of any kind. I am so sad I really wanted to love this salon.I learned a very expensive $200 lesson.

This review is for Elia Rey. She was my stylist for probably 15 years when I lived in the Houston area. She will give you an excellent cut and/or color. I highly encourage you to give her a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I love it here.The space is beautiful, warm and friendly, even though it is very upscale, not stuffy at all. Everyone is so welcoming and the stylists are top notch! I’ve had many massages there as well and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Unprofessional mean girlsRESPONSE TO OWNER:I am not a competitor nor am I a troll - I was a paying customer for a few yrs...I had some good cut/colors, some just ok, and then a few horrible services, but i always strived to deal with it in a manner that was non confrontational.  I never once asked for anything for free. If i didnt like something or needed a change(price,specialist,etc), i would just go to a different stylist. I gave and expected in return some common courtesy & professionalism. You asked me to come in with constructive feedback,  yet when i did just that - in a courteous manner - by coming in to PAY a new stylist to fix my hair - i was then labeled a complainer/confrontational and no longer welcome. I was not going to give details/stylists, but since youve responded in such a condescending manner,  yet claim to be top professionals and extremely kind,ALLOW ME TO RETORT:My first incident was with Emily over a yr ago...I paid over $400 for orange, brassy, strangely cut hair. When I reached out to let her know, and ask for her help, she ignored me and didnt respond. A couple of weeks later, I came in and PAID to have another stylist fix it. She told me that I was the 2nd or 3rd client of Emilys to come to her with this same, awful upside down or inside out layered cut. When I told the lady at the front desk about my situation,  she encouraged me to go speak to Emily...when I did, she took no responsibility,  blamed me, and acted as though i was being unreasonable for wanting a response while she was with family. It had been about 2 weeks since my text! I did mumble some words Im not proud of as I walked away,  but I in no way yelled or had an outburst.Fast forward to a few months ago when once again I got an awful cut- this timefrom Maddie...I didnt even bother asking her to fix it (her reviews on haircuts speak for themselves). I just PAID another stylist to fix my God awful haircut. I did tell the stylist what I didnt like or needed fixing, but was in no way upset or confrontational- why would i be? It wasnt her fault! We had a friendly convo and i didnt have any inkling that there was any issue... she even asked to book my next appt with her before i left! But i must have unintentionally offended a member of her clique somehow because my next 2 appointments were cancelled on the day of my appt/last minute! That doesnt seem very professional or kind to me. I had no idea why, until it happened again and i called & asked...then I finally got an email telling me to go elsewhere...again, not very professional...and not very kind.

I have been to this salon recently and I chose Leena based on her experience with curly hair. I was wanting to cut my hair, 4” or so and thin it out to reduce the weight. Leena said, “Let’s give you slight layers and that will help with weight instead of eliminating a lot more hair.” She informed me of what products are best for my type of hair and how to maintain it. Leena blew it out of the park! With a little bit of guidance and patience, I was amazed to see how much my hair curled! It was gorgeous!! I would definitely recommend Leena for a head turning cut and style. Thank you!!!

If you’re going to get anything done here please ask for Leena. She is amazing. I’m a very indecisive person and need reassurance with my decisions (especially with something as big as dying my hair) but she made me feel so comfortable. She gave me her professional opinion and told me what color would look best and why it would compliment me. We talked about hair care and she gave me a ton of product recommendations. She’s easily accessible and accommodating. Plus all of her prices are super reasonable. I left with my hair looking way better than I had imagined and a new level of confidence all thanks to Leena.

Ive been trying to book my wedding day makeup at this salon for over a month and their wedding coordinator takes so long to reply to emails. Ill email back right away and itll take days to receive a response. I originally reached out March 22, my wedding is May 6, and I still dont have a trial or day-of booked. SO disappointing!

Leena was amazing! She asked questions showed me examples and gave great advice on how to make my hair healthier! The color/ cut turned out perfect and im so happy with the results. Finally was able to get a root melt for a low maintenance look! Thanks Leena!!!

Ive been seeing Charlotte for my hair color treatments for more than 10 years. She was based out of another salon, but started her own business and has a suite at Salon Mystique. Although the drive is more than hour one-way, to get there, I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair color needs. EVER. Charlotte has years of experience and will always do whats best and healthy for my hair when I come to her with different color ideas. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking a professional, experienced color technician.

Such a beautiful place! I booked a last minute haircut because I had decided to go pixie, and Jessica Fleak was such an attentive, receptive stylist! I have difficult hair that I push to the limits, but she still had fresh tips Id never heard and kept checking in with me until we got my back-length locks down to a cute pixie cut Ive gotten plenty of compliments on already! One of the best haircut experiences Ive ever had, truly.

This salon is BEAUTIFUL! Staff is very friendly and happy to serve. My stylist is Sarah from Blue Gardenia and she’s amazing. She’s knowledgeable, really listens, uses natural products, and is just a delight to be around! Really helps me feel beautiful in my own skin. Check her out - you will be glad you did.

I want to start this by saying that for every ONE of us making a complaint, there are at least 10+ behind us that say NOTHING. I’m finding it unbelievable that as paying customers, we are unable to tell the stylists at Salon Mystique when they do things wrong or EVEN how youd LIKE them to BE done. We are thrown into a group of “complainers”. There is absolutely nothing wrong if - as a paying customer -I look for a stylist within the salon that specializes in one area or another. Should we not be able to say “Please don’t do this” or “I don’t/didn’t like this” or even “Please do this” ? I pay a very high price to have my hair done and do not expect to be “cancelled” last minute.

This was my first visit to Salon Mystique. I realize that with a business model like this, you might get a professional you don’t like the first time you go. By luck of the draw, Emily cut my unruly grey hair today and did more to master my cowlick than anyone has in years. She took her time, paid attention to what I wanted, and was a delight to talk with. I will definitely go back to see her and may try other services.

It took me 3 years to find a hairdresser who was able to deal with my thick voluminous hair. I finally found my perfect stylist at this Salon and her name is Carina DeGroot. Shes humble and very talented!!!

Sarah Bandy is amazing! She knew exactly what I wanted, AND she was able to cut my hair in such a way that I barely have to style it! She has saved me so much time and stress! I cant wait to return for a color as well! I also loved the VIP treatment in her private suite, minus all the typical toxic fumes! :-)

I cannot speak more highly of Stylist Sarah Bandy of Blue Gardenia. Sarah operates her organic salon suite out of Salon Mystique, and the very first thing I noticed was how relaxing her space is. The music she played sold me quickly-- vintage jazz and 1940s swing--and made me feel right at home and at ease. Sarah is kind and warm and funny, and makes it fun and easy to talk to her. (She did say that if a client did not feel talkative, she respects their desire to be quiet, which can be a godsend if you are an introvert!) I showed Sarah inspiration pictures of balayage on hair the color of mine, and Sarah did a stellar job matching the look (I have dark brown, almost black hair.) Sarah gave me the most lovely reddish-brown balayage--it is subtle and natural, and compliments my warm skin tone. I LOVE IT. I am not someone who changes my look very often (last time I colored my hair was over nine years ago), and I am so glad I went for it. I also want to note that Sarah is committed to using lower-toxin, organic, high-quality hair products. (The color that she used on my hair is free of ammonia.) It was clear to me that Sarah is really passionate about the products that she chooses to use at Blue Gardenia and it is evident that she has done her research. I loved my experience with Sarah, thank you so much for the beautiful color!

I had my haircut today by Denise. She was awesome!!! Its so nice to have your hair done in a private room and not have to hear everyones conversation and hair dryers going. I never know what to do with my hair and Denise brought up Pinterest and went over hairstyles with me. We found one that I loved and she thought it would look great on me and it does! I was very happy with everything!

I had a wonderful experience at Salon Mystique today. Fitz did an amazing job of asking the right questions to determine the best technique to get the look I was after. His experience shows in his approach and the result. The gray is covered, subtle highlights, and a great cut. I finally have a stylist in Texas that I simply adore.

I went and saw Maddy to get my eyebrows done, shes incredible!!! Highly recommend coming and seeing her!! Also K-lee cafe is awesome, you can get your coffee then go get your brows done! Kristian is so sweet and makes some really AMAZING food,coffees, and teas!!!Go check them out!

Hoping I can give a better review once I actually get service when walking into the salon. Two girls working there just flat out ignored me while I stood and waited to see if I could purchase a gift card. I guess they don’t care about you unless you have an appointment with them

Terrible customer service. Be aware, the stylists rent their spaces and seem to be their own bosses. Therefore there is no oversight or accountability. Stylist already had me waiting 30 minutes in between appointments and then asked me to was another 15 minutes- to which I politely replied No and she responded by cancelling my appointment claiming she didn’t understand why I couldn’t push the appointment back another 15 minutes.

Really excited to get my hair cut and colored by Sarah Bandy at Blue Gardenia Organic Hair Salon @bluegardenia.atx at @salonmystique.belterra. I appreciate that Sarah has gone to great lengths (ha hair puns!) to research and find lower toxin, organic hair care products like for coloring. I’m attentive to what I put in and on my body, but hadn’t really thought of my hair products the same way until now. And I was truly surprised that she was able to achieve the same great color as traditional products. I highly recommend her for an awesome hair update and experience! Fitz absolutely crushed it! He’s obviously knowledgeable about his practice and it shows. It was my first time there, and I can’t wait to go back to see him. I highly recommend him for cuts and color— one of the better salon experiences I’ve had thanks to him!

I made the mistake of going to a hair salon for a wax. But still I don’t think they should be advertising that they do such a great job here because wow it was the worst wax I’ve ever gotten. They get two stars because the girl that waxed me was so nice and talked with me the whole time making me feel comfortable, but wow when I got home to take a closer look I didn’t like what I saw. It was all very patchy AND there was still left over wax stuck that I had to take off myself. Please don’t come here for a wax, their homemade ingrown hair serum works well but that’s it, just don’t get a wax go somewhere else

Love Salon Mystique!!! I get my eyebrows threaded by Payal Patel and I just absolutely love her work! She has 18+ years of experience and really knows what she is doing. My first time going to her she told me I wouldn’t see the shape I was wanting after the first appointment and that if I keep letting my brows grow out, try not to pluck them at all, and keep coming to her everything 3-4 weeks, she will be able to start shaping my brows the style I want. I have gone to Payal three times now and I’m already seeing the results I want! Highly recommend her!!! Thanks Payal!!! ❤️

Jessica was amazing! This was my first time at Mystique. I don’t normally get my hair done because I have had so many bad experiences, but she gave me exactly what I was looking for, and was super down to earth!

I came in to get gel off my nails and have a manicure done. When I got to the ladies suite she said “oh you have gel on, I’m going to have to use the nail drill to get it off.” Me not thinking about it at the time I hadn’t stopped her from using that even though I should have. I’ve read so many posts online after looking at my nails after having this done and everywhere states to NEVER LET A MANICURIST USE A DRILL ON YOUR REAL NAILS and how a professional manicurist, whose had the right training, knows this!!! It ruins your healthy nails!!! Now my nails have ridges in them and look so unhealthy and will now take a long time to recover from getting them back to where they were before. I’m very sad and disappointed that this happened because I really did like the lady, she was very friendly, but it still doesn’t excuse this sort of service.Pros: they have a suite for each person who works at this establishment and a nice café.

Color faded within a week. Stylist refused to give me a partial refund for it fading. Management said there was nothing they could do because all the stylist are independent contractors. Leena was the stylist I saw and she would not resolve issue on the phone. She wanted to do everything through text. Will never go hear again and would give zero stars if I could.

Leena was AMAZING. I absolutely loved what she did with my hair. I really didn’t know exactly what I wanted but somehow she did and it turned out perfect. I will definitely be coming back to see her!!

After a seriously questionable DIY job, Chad from salon Mystique saved me. He took into account how I want to feel, what compliments my face, and did an amazing job! I’m thrilled to have found such a talented stylist!!!

I have three words of advice that will change your life...Ask for Fitz!!! I have spent well over a decade looking for my perfect hairstylist, colorist and all around miracle worker and now, I finally found him! Fitz is my hair hero. I went to Salon Mystique with extremely long hair and in desperate need of highlights/color. I’m naturally a dirty blonde and typically do a heavy highlight to be very ash blonde. After consulting with Fitz and completely trusting in his vision, I walked out of there as a bombshell Red Head with the sexiest hair cut of my life (all in all I think Fitz took off about 10 inches). He is a genius and because of him, I can’t stop smiling or looking at myself in the mirror. I’ve also never had so many genuine compliments given to me by friends, family and strangers. I will never let anyone but Fitz touch my hair again.

Saw Audry for hair color and it came out amazing! She was easy to talk to and friendly - will definitely continue to go back to her for my future hair color needs.

Got a great cut and style here over the weekend! Cute cafe with killer food as well. Strikes a great balance between masculine and feminine, so I felt very comfortable while waiting for my wife to finish up with her services.

This was so nice! My mom and I made an appointment at the very last minute, lol, but they were so ready to help us. Service was great and everyone was super friendly. My hair looks great!

Blow out was done exactly as I requested it NOT be. Stylist aimed me away from mirror the entire time so I couldnt see what she was doing. There was application of heat protectant and anti humectant to only one chunk of hair. My hair would have looked better air drying even with the rain.

They have Great staff there at salon mystique, a great aesthetic, and amazing quality care.. Jessica Fleak is such an amazing hair dresser I love the work she put into my hair ❤️!!

Olivia Bergsrud and Hollie Lockhart at Salon Mystique are both AMAZING! I highly recommend Olivia for lashes and Hollie is fantastic with blondes. Olivia & Hollie are both super sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend!
