I could not wait to get home and leave this review! My wife booked us the Delicious Duo for our honeymoon and Liz was everything you could ask for in a massage therapist, adjusting where I had pain and even changing whole package criteria to fit my ability. We felt welcomed, taken care of, and genuinely valued not just as customers but as people. They even gave us little goodie bags as wedding gifts which I couldn’t appreciate more. I can’t wait to return.

I booked the Delicious Duet Couples massage for a mini getaway right after our wedding. It could not have been any more perfect! I had Mundo as my massage therapist. He did an amazing job explaining the process and making sure I was comfortable. He was very polite and respectful. My wife and I will definitely come back for our anniversary, it was well worth it.

My 75min deep tissue, swedish massage with Katelyn yesterday was amazing! Katelyn was able to release my stress and tension points with the appropriate pressure with long and slow strokes. She was very kind, knowledgeable and my massage was so rejuvenating!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Folks who did my massage and facial were very good. But managements attitude is an issue.I got anniversary special for massage and facial. And they said compared to $155 which is for one hour and the anniversary special is 45 minutes.So it’s was $119 per service for 45 minutes which they claim on website equivalent to $156 which is not true. So based on $119 service I paid $23.5 tip which is 20percent. But I could twill that person at the counter was judging and not happy.It’s my wish. I still paid 20 percent even though they lie it’s matching to $155 which it was not.Where is customer service home on this country. People are rude. It’s not just this place. Post Covid all service oriented business just focus in making more ones without the right attitude and. Service

I went to Natalie recently for the second time to get a PRP facial, and it was the best treatment I ever received. Natalie was gentle and efficient, and my skin has never looked better. The staff is also very friendly. Will be coming back for sure - great value.

This was my second time visiting this spa for a massage and both therapists exceeded my expectations for deep tissue. Prior I had Mundo and this most recent visit was with Amy. Amy was great and reading my body and what areas needed more attention than others. She made sure to ask if pressure was to my liking as well as any areas of concern or to avoid. Loved her style and technique along with her calming presence. 😊

My husband gifted me a couples massage for my bday and I’m 35 weeks pregnant and Katelyn was amazingggggg. It was hands down the BEST massage I’ve ever had. She worked out my lower back at the perfect pressure. I feel so good. My husband got his massage by Amy and he said it was amazing as well. It was his first time getting a massage and he’s been hesitant to try. He’s excited to go back as well. I 10/10 recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back!

Cool spot on 35th - we grabbed a couples massage on Memorial Day weekend, little birthday present. The spa was cool, great remodeling, relaxing zen environment with convenient parking in the back.Walk in to entry way, staff was welcoming, and they have a number of different products available (little store) for purchase, skin care, lotions, shampoos etc. We chilled in the relaxing room for about 5 minutes until we were brought back for our massages. The ambiance in the conjoined couples massage room(s) was comfortable, cool and relaxing.Overall I was a bit disappointed with the massage, especially for the price. I’ve had ~300 massages and have found that an excellent masseuse is able to sync with their clients body (through touch, communication and energy) and effectively customize the massage technique selected with the body needs, resulting in deep breaths and the release of bad energy and stress. I’d describe this massage as generic. Realignment, relaxation and stress reduction was an overall miss.

My in laws gave me a gift card to viva as a xmas gift and It was my first time getting a massage. Liz, my masseuse, made me feel so comfortable and relaxed durring my swedish massage. She recommended great music for me to listen to and made some delicious tea for me afterwords. Def recommend for healthcare workers working long hours. Treat yourself guys! This place is great!

Jill and the rest of the staff are so talented and kind! I swear my shoulders dropped by a whole foot by the time I left.

Went to see Julia for lip filler for the very first time and she made the experience so wonderful and more importantly, absolutely pain free!! For years, I was back and forth about trying out fillers and after seeing Julia for several sessions of Botox prior and seeing her incredible skills and knowledge first hand - I made the decision to try it out and will never look back. I was so afraid of being in pain but Julia was so patient, great attention to detail, clearly knowledge and ready to address all my fears with a smile. Thanks again!

I had the BEST treatment tonight with Steph. I’m in Austin for work and decided to treat myself and I could not be happier with Viva! Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. I did the Summer vibes bundle and I wish I could relive it over and over. Such a beautiful location and if I’m ever back in Austin I will definitely be back!!

The team here knows how to take care of their clients. I enjoyed the celebration treatment here and felt like a VIP. They planned out every small detail so that I felt comfortable and relaxed during and between each treatment.

While I’ve never used their services, the fact that my wife wants to stop every time we pass tells me the place is great! She hates massages, or reality anyone touching her for anything so finding a place she is comfortable in and people she is comfortable with is so hard as to be nearly impossible. In fact, of the 20 years we’ve been together, and the countless mother day/birthday/just because gift cards and appointments that she has received from people, this is the only spa that she has come back to.

I went here for a facial and I cannot recommend this place or Sarah M more!! She was amazing, and I had the most relaxing experience ever. She was very knowledgeable about skincare and was able to customize the facial to what my skin needed. What I loved is it didn’t feel like a going in for a clinical procedure, but instead it was an entire experience with a super relaxing and calming environment. Left feeling amazing and my skin is glowing! Sarah and the rest of the staff were the sweetest people ever!

Do yourself a favor and GO SEE JULIA!Just wow. As a first timer, she made me feel comfortable and she was so unbelievably knowledgeable and kind.I can’t put into words how nervous I was about finally doing this for myself and I am sooooo happy with the whole entire process!!! I booked my fiance for a MANdatory facial with Savy F. At first, the outcome looked pretty good with my fiance being satisfied for his first time doing a facial. However, a few days to a week in post facial, my fiancé developed dark spots on his nose, which was concerning. After getting a second opinion from an esthetician, she said that Savy “must have gone too hard with extractions leading to the spots appearing on his nose.” This is unacceptable for someone who is getting their facials done for the first time before wedding events. Now we are scrambling to find solutions to reduce the appearance of the spots on my fiancés nose by the time our events take place. I say this for Savy and anyone in the practice to exercise caution in the future.

Edit: Viva did eventually call me and offered for me to come back in for another facial. Did NOT get the peel this time, the therapist tested out a small area and I definitely reacted again so I just have sensitive skin. The amenities are nice and Im glad they have a good customer service follow up system in place. Definitely want to come back and try some other services!2/15/23 Had a really bad experience at Viva, I was looking for a good spa in Austin and this place has all the “looks” of a nice place but the service was absolutely horrible. After getting talked into a chemical peel (I told the therapist that I had sensitive skin and she assured me that the peel was really mellow and wouldn’t irritate my skin) I developed hives all over my neck and face. I followed all the after care instructions and even called the shop to ask if this was a normal reaction. I was told the spa was totally booked and someone would contact me. I emailed in pictures and followed up later that day but no one ever contacted me. I ended up going to the dermatologist because my skin got so bad. Shame this place is all style and no substance.

Amy is an amazing massage therapist at Viva Day Spa-Med Spa. It’s clear by her questions, feedback and skilled massage that she has put the time in to hone her talents! I scheduled my appointment hoping to get relief from some acute pain and I felt both physically better and better educated on how to continue healing. Amy is a true healer!

Was traveling for work and was having some lower back pain. This place popped up so i booked. Ian, LITERALLY, best massage Ive freekin had. I always like a lot of pressure, and he beat me up the best way possible. I feel loosey goosey and amazing. Also, beautiful atmosphere

I have been going to Viva Spa for years,I highly recommend them! Robin is so good at what she does. Book her week days......you will be glad you did!Robin gives a great massage relaxing, Zen and with my 90 minute massage she works out all the knots and stress. Robin will work as light or deep as you need. The hot rocks make it even better. Thank you Robin!

I was gifted a certificate from my daughter and her boyfriend for a 90-minute Mother Nurture Spa treatment. It was my very first spa massage ever. David was very comforting, and very good at explaining the process to me. Also, he was very good at massage. The front desk lady (sorry, I cant remember her name) was extremely friendly and also very helpful. Even though I live out of town, they helped me schedule my massage in a very limited window. I left feeling amazing, and not greasy or too slicked down. My skin actually felt very smooth and moisturized--like a babys butt. Also left with a cute little gift bag! Would definitely go back!! :)

I had the best massage I have ever had with Travis at the Viva Day Spa on 35th Street in Austin. I have had many, many massages in my life but I must say that Austin stood out by far. His techniques were different than any other and he was able to help ease the issues I had. I recommend him highly! Everyone at the spa was extremely kind!

This place is heavenly. Barbara and Angela are the absolute best at what they do. Angela always makes me feel super comfortable and at ease during my sugaring, and Barbara is by far the best facialist I have ever had. I was gifted a certificate for my birthday for a Mother Nurture Spa treatment. I was a bit reluctant since I’m 36 weeks pregnant and all of the other 5 massages that I’ve gotten in other places have just felt like a body rub. However, I was pleasantly surprise of the quality and knowledge of Tabatha! She has magical hands and was not afraid when I asked for a bit more of pressure.The set up was perfect, the scents, the quality, everything!!!Do not doubt to book a spa service at this place! I will definitely be back sooner or later depending when my baby arrives haha!

We did the couples massage and we were in separate room with doors open with plenty of space for the massage therapist. The staff was very professional and accommodating for us. This was very relaxing and much needed. I highly recommend getting this done. They also gave a military discount for any full price massage which is always appreciated!

Ive been getting facials with Bailey for several months now and my skin has never looked or felt better! Shes kind, professional and great at what she does. Ive never been comfortable going out without makeup, but lately Ive been able to show my real skin with confidence. The front desk staff is also always very nice and helpful. Overall great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed my hydrafacial at Viva yesterday! The esthetician, Barbara, did a great job prepping my skin for the extractions, which is the main reason I went in (going on a big long trip and I want my skin to look as good as possible so Im not constantly putting out dermatological fires). The atmosphere was inviting, eclectic, and I loved the clean beauty brands they both carry and use in their treatments. My skin came out glowing and dewy, and it was much improved from its initial state when I walked in. Will definitely be back, I think I found my med spa home base!

For anyone hoping to have a memorable massage experience, this review should be helpful. Yesterday, I had a massage with Travis at the 35th Street location. Its been 11 months since I was in a terrible car accident. My right shoulder was completely replaced last Oct. Travis was excellent with every detail of my massage from being cautious with my right shoulder to bringing me hot tea at the end of my massage. After just one session with Travis, I experienced more range of motion than with any other treatment including months of PT. I highly recommend Travis as a knowledgable and effective massage therapist.

A generous friend gave me a certificate for a deluxe pedicure - what a treat!!! All the staff at the Lamar location are super friendly and my technician, Tina, was wonderful! Shes kind, funny and does amazing work. They really know how to pamper you!

Ive had some really bad pain in my neck and traps for a while now and couldnt take it anymore. My experience here was amazing.They are taking health seriously. I saw a total of two people the whole time I was there, the receptionist and my masseuse. No other clients in the waiting room, didnt have to walk around anyone in the hallway, etc.Jessica is amazing. I feel like she really concentrated on working my knots and trying to get the tendons in my neck to elongate. I already have another appointment to go back.

My husband booked the delicious duet couples spa package at the Viva Day Spa for my birthday. At 550 dollars, my expectations were fairly high. Unfortunately, the experience was a far cry from the relaxing spa treatment that I was hoping for.My spouse and I try to book a massage at least once a month. We keep that regimine as a steady investment in our own physical wellness. That being said, we are no stranger to a variety of techniques and therapists. However, my therapist left me bruised for days after my visit. I had to ask her multiple times to adjust her pressure throughout the massage. There were several times that I asked her to skip areas because I was afraid of how much it would hurt. Her thumbs bruised the sides of my head, my chest, back, arms, etc. Now, Ive been worked on by aggressive therapists before. In some cases, its necessary to work a little harder to get a knot out. I completely understand that. But rest assured, there were no knots that needed tending to on the sides of my head. My arms did not carry unresolved tension that required that degree of force. I couldnt even tolerate her massage on my thighs because I was certain that those bruises would show. I didnt want to restrict my birthday girl weekend to a pants only attire.I appreciate a therapist that can adjust pressure. I love working out knots, but this experience just wasnt it. There is no reason for me to be tender to the touch days after my visit. I am going to leave her name out because she was sweet. I dont think she intended to cause harm, but if a client is asking repeatedly for adjustments throughout the massage, that should be a signal that something is amiss. If areas of the body are being asked to just be skipped over...that is a pretty big red flag in itself. My favorite massages? Are the ones that nearly put me to sleep. I want a massage that I can just relax and breathe through. I shouldnt have to be on hyper alert and ready to request accommodations. It was an awful experience.In addition, the package that we purchased mentioned a body wrap. Now, we have both had body wraps before, and this was NOT a body wrap. Typically, a body wrap is the process in which a mineral-rich formula or oils are applied to the body. Once applied, you are wrapped up with plastic film or mylar bandages. (Feel free to check this definition as it is easily found online) The wraps that we have had in the past have all met this criteria. However, this wrap was absolutely laughable. The therapist rubbed lotion on us and pulled the blanket up along with what looked like a weighted sleeping bag. There was no real body wrap included in this package. Personally, I dont think its fair to misrepresent a treatment. If you dont want to offer a body wrap, then dont offer it.Ultimately, this experience was physically painful and severely overpriced for the quality of services offered. The staff is very pleasant, but a courteous demeanor is not a sufficient substitution for a genuine spa treatment.

This place combines two of my favorite things: massages and Austin hidden gems. This was a Lovely spa experience with the decor, smells, and products...surprisingly on 35th street.I have been getting massages for over 30 years. I often leave greasy head to toe, but not here. The products used felt wonderful, and only left behind soft skin.Added to this was an Amazing massage from a young man named Travis! He has the touch Plus the ability to work a knot out.TYTYTY for such a wonderful experience!

Very professional and clean spa. Ive gotten the signature massage, and it was very relaxing. The pedicure was also good, but at $50, I would rather just go for a regular spa pedicure at a nail salon. Theyre on top of their scheduling because Ive never had to wait more than a couple minutes. I always make sure to get a cup of their cucumber water--its not a real spa experience without it. :)

I have had many massages at all three locations over the last 7 years. Every single therapist is top knotch! I don’t know how they do it, but they only hire the best. Lately I have seen Jessica at the 35th street location and man does she SPOIL you! Honorable mentions to David and Jan as well:)

Hi there. I booked a Deluxe pedi/mani. I was so excited and drove in from Buda for it. Upon entering, the back waiting area (which looked lovely: candles, dark, etc) was crowded they said, so I was asked to wait in the front in the reception area. The woman who was my nail tech was very nice—she typically worked at a different location so wasn’t familiar with this location or where everything was, and the front receptionist was new, so we got started about 15-20 min late. The pedicure tub filled very slowly, and then almost flooded until I turned it off. I was offered wine, which was nice, but that also was supposed to come with it anyhow. For my manicure the website says it includes a scrub and hot towels, but I didn’t receive that. The toe polish was streaky, so the manicurist needed to find a new one. Pros: very clean. Good chocolates. People were very nice and apologetic (I received a discount due to the mishaps), my fingers look great. Cons: visiting employees don’t seem to know where things are at location, not provided all services as website indicates, and appts stacked up too close so I couldn’t really experience the whole relaxation of a spa environment. I’d come back, but for the price we pay for this, I do hope that cons are addressed by the owner.

Amy has the magic touch! She is highly skilled at deep tissue. I didn’t want the massage to end. Highly recommend! I just re-booked with her and already looking forward to it. :-)

As an athlete, I have gone to a number of places around Austin over the years to get the various kinks in my body worked out. This place has been the best (even better than the sports clinics that I have been to!), hands down.The experience is really aided by making sure you have a basic understanding of what is going on with your body and articulating it - theyll be able to figure out it regardless, but this helps whomever youre seeing get straight to business.I have yet to be disappointed by any of the people I have seen at this location, but I have to really praise Jennifer J - she has a methodology unlike any other that Ive ever experienced and would recommend her to anyone who has something they need worked out. Talk about a professional who knows what they are doing - I am going to be getting a package of these with her.

This is a nice smaller location so you get a little more privacy compared to some of the other spa places in the area with how they have the building set up. The spa is clean, and the staff can regularly be seen following good hygienic principles. Friendly faces and smiles all around from them as well. A little pricier than some other spa places, but you can tell that youre getting a higher quality experience in return.

Julia Hoy is absolutely amazing!!! She is a perfectionist and really took the time to ensure I was completely satisfied with the results.

Had a full body massage with foot ritual and trip to the sauna. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure a pampered, relaxing experience- the cucumber water and peppermint towels delivered to the sauna were a wonderful touch. My massage therapist, Kari, was extremely knowledgable regarding musculature and was able to effectively address my specific concerns. I also love the separate relaxing room they have for adjusting into spa mode beforehand or gently returning to real life after a treatment. I cant wait to come back!

Friend and I were staying in town for quick business trip and decided to stop here on our last day. Kandice, Robin, and Bailey were absolutely amazing! So sweet and took time to explain process and make sure we were both fully relaxed. Place was very clean and calming. Highly recommend.

Lupe is a pro and number one nail tech (I should say artist) at this establishment. She has been employed there since they opened. She is more of a caregiver than a nail tech. She is the nail whisperer of Austin. She is my counselor as well as a nail tech. She wont let you down.

I went here just to get some face moisturizer and ended up with more information. I was lucky enough to talk to an aesthetician briefly who was able to recommend a good moisturizer for me, and I can see he’s been working well since then. It’s a nice place inside as well.

If you are looking for the resort-esque spa package, this is a place to find it. I got one of the fall spa packages, which was a great deal.A dip in the sauna with ice-cold cucumber water to sip. After my muscles had loosened up, deep tissue massage to help with a reoccurring pulled muscle and lower back pain from my desk job.I highly recommend checking out their seasonal packages and you can book online easily.

The staff is amazing and dedicated to helping you with your particular needs. Robin helped me with back aches and muscle pain during my pregnancy. She listened to my needs and was very supportive. The best!
