I was staying at the hotel next door and ended up here because the restaurants nearby were overbooked. Staff was really friendly, drinks were cheap, and atmosphere was low key and pleasant. Realized I was not the target demographic after I ordered the second. Id come back. Everyone there was awesome.

Its ok. Nice crowd on the weekends. Sunday is Latino night. Decent drinks for a moderate price. Layout is awkward. Huge bar dominates the middle of the space and takes up way too much room...it occupies a larger area than the dance floor! Located in a touristy hotel/restaurant area on I35.

I have been coming to this bar for many years. The staff is awesome but for the last 2 months there is a horrible stench all within the bar. I have asked and made comments but nothing has been done. If you have a sensitive nose, choose somewhere else. They need to clean up their act.

Had a great time at this bar! Pablo made us feel very welcome and was fun to talk to! If we are ever back in Dallas, we will be back. The atmosphere here is better than the downtown gay bars!

Drinks are good. I like the bar. Bartenders who have been there awhile have attitude. One makes you wait and wait and likes his booze. Barbacks are hot.Beats downtown. All and all, id still frequent here.

Its a fantastically open and welcoming place for all walks of the LGBTQ community. Its a hotspot known for great drinks at reasonable prices, friendly staff, drag nights every other Friday, gogo dancers, and public health sponsorship. They have two group unisex bathrooms which may be a little off-putting towards less secure people, though weve never had any issues with the experience and consider it to be forward looking.Smoking is available on the back patio, and volleyball courts are there for public use. Gay, straight, trans, or questioning, its a great location to meet friendly people.

Friendly staff, inexpensive beer, fun people. If you are looking for a low key, friendly, unpretentious bar during the week, this the place. It gets quite busy on Friday nights and Saturday is a decent crowd as well.

I went for a 32 bday celebration this past weekend and I enjoyed myself sooo much I plan on going back tomorrow...I loved the atmosphere and they have different events daily and no issues or drama. They bartender was way cool and friendly. I would rate 5 stars but I need at least 2 more visits. But like I said Im going back tomorrow 💯😁😍

Service is horrendous! Bartenders have too much bitchy attitudes and dont make you feel welcome unless you appear to have allot of money. Drinks are way overpriced compared to even downtown clubs. The porches are consumed with so much cigarette smoke that you can cut the air with a knife. There is nowhere to go to get away from the smoke and its not all cigarette smoke but illegal drugs right there in the open. The in your face drug dealing has become pretty bad and there is no discretion used. The owner, management and bartenders turn a blind eye to it. The crowd is the worst examples of the gay community with allot of people with substance abuse issues and mental health issues. Avoid this place unless your into these types of people and atmosphere. I wont step foot in the place ever again, I was so turned off by it all. I wouldnt want to know anyone who frequetnts the place or risk being pulled over as I pull out of the parking lot by police.

Rude staff, unbelievably rude. I came into the bar and stood at the bar for ten minutes while one of the bartenders threw a tantrum about a customer being impatient. Then, when I walked to the other side of the bar to get a drink from the other bartender, the tantrum bartender followed me over all the while ranting. The other bartender never said so much as hello or thank you while I waited. I would never recommend a bar with such negative staff.

Loved this place. They had a lady Dj who was really awesome and actually played top 40. (no one else in austin seems to) Fun staff and lots of great space to dance and hang out. Im a non-drinker so I cant vouch for the cocktails but staff was friendly and helpful.

My gf & I are regulars at bt2 been going for the past three years with a group of our friends I love it there! Great people love the bartenders Glenn & Miguel two of our favorites! Cant forget Justin, Nick, Dino & the djs love em too!

BT2 is a premier place to be yourself and to experience great drag shows. The bar is always ready to fix you up, the entertainers know how to put on a show, and the atmosphere is amazing! Big space and great people!

Its always a good time at Bout Time 2!! drag shows every second and fourth Saturday of the month! Drag bingo every Sunday fun-day and Latin night Sundays @ 10pm. Bout time is a huge part of the LGBTQ community, so if youre looking for a second home head down to BT2 and see my favorite bartenders Miguel and Justin!

I dont know who hurt her, but that female bartender just has this permanent look of disgust on her face. Not even directing it at me, but literally everyone she dealt with while I was sitting with my friends at the bar, just rude. The others are incredibly polite and professional. Its really not my scene anymore but nice and dicey all the same.

The people are always great and welcoming. If I rated on just the people Id give it 5 stars.The drinks seem weak. I rarely drink and often I can drink 4 or 5 before I fell anything whereas other places it usually takes 1. Some nights the drinks are good and some I can drink all night with no effect. 3 stars for the inconsistent drinks.I go for the great people and to dance and here is my problem. If you want to dance you need to come early before the djs. The DJs are consistently the worst Ive ever heard. No concept of music flow, transistion , or rhythm. Most of the music is not danceable. I give the DJS 0 stars. I rarely come here now because of the Djs and not having music to dance to. Its a shame because the people really are great.

I enjoyed this hangout. Very friendly atmosphere. Easy parking. Music play is decent and changes over time. Dancers are cute, bartenders are courteous.

Would have been 5 stars but this place has been messing up a lot lately. Been coming here for a year and at first it was lovely until idk what happend and these DJs have become terrible. I come here instead of DT because I dont feel like hearing techno all night but BT2 is become a all techno place now. But I still love the staff there, especially Lloyd and Miguel...

Drinks are good at a fair price .The facility is easy open and clean.Sat nights get all the T-Girls.Sexy movement and flow in thisFun atmosphere.

The lights made me feel like I was going to seize. But I had a good time. Ill definitely probably come back. I loved the vibe, even though there was a lot of people there.

Had a really god time here. the people are awesome and the bartender dino is amazing get her rainbow shots . met some really good friends here so far. cant wait to go back again

This is a neighborhood gay bar. They have really great drink specials on some weekdays, but not all. Also have plenty of parking, outdoor volleyball court and two pool tables.

We like coming to this bar, very often: most of the staff are very friendly except for really bad experience we had last Sunday we were treated extremely rude by a big lady that to away my drink from my mouth and was pushing me to get out quick, my partner and I are not problematic and we hate violence.

Great everything from friendly bartenders to cool areas: pool tables, dance floor, and nice patios! There is also a beach volleyball setup in the back!

Good place to go for a trashy low key getaway. Staff is horrible and management is worse. Please avoid at all costs and hit downtown or the domain for the places worth your time and money.

For a little bar it was pretty nice, very entertaining especially just to get out and do something during the week. Drinks were good too.

The place looks fun but the day we went , nobody was there so I felt its a boring place , they have good free popcorn and a talented bartender I forgot her name .

Not really a great scene unless youre in the clique. Dont be sassy, be professional... Like the TGIFridays of gay bars. Airport prices drinks and all.

I have been several times and I always enjoy my self. They have a super patio and great staff.

Bartenders are good. Place is rather stark and sterile. No real welcoming ambience. It is what it is.
