Super bummed about my overall experience here. To be fair I had a great facial that they did fit me at the last minute for in June (which is why this review is a 2 and not a 1).However, the following week I bought their makeup service for a photoshoot in early July. A week later the owner canceled on me with about a weeks notice. She tried to help find another person, but it didnt pan out, and I was supposed to be refunded. A month later I never was. She never replied to my emails, and now I have to file a dispute with my credit card.I think its wrong they make you pay ahead of time. And super unprofessional she canceled on me and didnt even offer a coupon or anything for a future service. I live around the corner from the location and was looking for a nice little spa where I could do a monthly facial or massage. Really bummed with how this all went down, wish they treated clients better. Also, all the plants are dying in their windows, I wonder if theyre going out of business.

27 Gems is in fact a Gem in its own right. Anyone looking for a breath of fresh air, relaxation, or self care will want to check them out whenever you are near Camden yards or the ravens stadium for a game! Karissa is attentive, responsive and has a passion for what she does; she is a queen of her craft and cares about building relationships with her clients. Emile did my massage and it awoken and re-energized by entire body.

I’ve been coming to 27 gems since they opened. At first it started with me purchasing Reilo and seed products…then it went to all my skin care products….then I noticed the beautiful crystals and candles and then I started booking my classes there and massages there which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This is how I knew I found a true home ! The limitless, beautiful space is like an adult playground with everything you’ll need. As soon as you enter you will automatically feel at home ! Enjoy !

Anthony was amazing! I had booked a last minute one hour massage while visiting and it was such a great and relaxing experience. The owner was also very communicative and it was a seamless process from booking to check out. Will definitely be back when I am in the area!

27 Gems is truly a hidden gem! I organized for a group of girlfriends to have a bachelorette event there and Karissa went above and beyond to make it the most beautiful and relaxing experience!We organized a private yoga session, mimosa package, and spa treatments. We were so blissed out! They’ve done such an amazing job with the space, you really do feel transported when you’re there.The products that they use for treatments and that they sell are all top quality and feel amazing.I would 100% recommend a spa service or treatment with 27 Gems to friends, and I will definitely go the next time I’m in Baltimore!Thank you again, Karissa!

My partner surprised me when couples massage here for my birthday and it was amazing. I hadn’t had a massage in years and Angel took very good care of me. I have been telling everyone about it. The spa is truly a gem. Everyone was so nice an accommodating, especially Karissa. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Hello everyone my husband and I went for a couples massage and let me tell you it was truly an experience. My masseuse was Anthony. He was very welcome and also a gentle soul. He added the right amount of pressure and also made me feel extremely safe and secure. I felt refreshed and relieved. I just had a baby and my trouble area was my back and legs and he really alleviated the pain in those areas. Will be back soon to try other services. A thousand stars

This space is absolutely beautiful! I had a Brazilian wax done by Bri & she took her time during the service while checking in with me throughout the service. Bris customer service from start to finish was AH-MAZING; Ill DEFINITELY return.

Every year I get a tarot card and I Ching reading from Karissa. Her highly detailed, perceptive, and personalized readings have proven to be an invaluable resource for me to reflect on my past experiences and plan for the future. I also get monthly couples massages with my husband. The massage therapists are extremely skilled and attentive, and I cannot overstate the benefits of these sessions in terms of relaxation, pain relief, and improved mobility.

Love coming here! The monthly membership is so worth it. I started coming during the end of my first trimester of pregnancy for monthly massages (and three this month as we near the end of the pregnancy 😂). Anthony and Justina are both amazing and thorough. The ambience of the Washington Blvd location is perfect. Karissa is also a gem. Always quick to respond, flexible, and a lovely human to chat with when I come in. Super convenient location for me, right in the heart of Ridgely’s Delight (by the orioles stadium). Come here- you won’t regret it!

We use Karissa to do tarot at our Solstice parties and she is great! Super friendly and knowledgeable. She is always a huge hit at the party, she is always one of the highlights. Highly recommend for a reading!

I had an amazing start to the year because of my relaxing and therapeutical experience in 27 Gems. I went there because my partner bought me a massage session as a gift but I will definitely be back again. The atmosphere is very nice, I felt calm and relax as soon as I got there. People who work here are very professional - the massage I got was the best one I’ve ever gotten. The massage therapist made sure to make me comfortable and used amazing oils during the session. After my session, I also bought a therapeutic skin care oil because they felt amazing during the session. Karissa patiently answered my questions about the products and helped me to pick a right product for myself. Thank you again!

Great experience. The spa is very clean abc gives you a warm serene feeling. I got the radio frequency cavitation and skin tightening and I already see the difference. Karissa was very informative as this was my first time getting it. I highly recommend

Visited the spa for my birthday massage and it was an amazing experience! Karissa is super sweet and while my boyfriend was waiting for my service to end, she showed him around the shop and he bought some great gifts there! Angel was my massage therapist and the pressure was just right! Very comfortable and inviting aura in the shop!! Definitely recommend checking them out.

I just had my second prenatal massage, and Justina did a phenomenal job. I had an appointment when I was 40w on Saturday, it was gentle, thorough, and full body. My visit with 27 gems spa & boutique was an amazing experience…let me tell you, loved it!!! I received a reading about the present and future journey and she was so spot on and accurate that it brought tears of happiness. She made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and understood but most of all at what wowed me was how she knew my feelings, what I’m going through and she even knew a special someone was on my mind HEAVYYY. So many positive things to say that I don’t know where to start! These ladies have thoughtfully designed a lovely, welcoming, therapeutic environment for their spa services. Karissa is a wealth of knowledge and she patiently took the time to answer all of my skin care and product questions. My facial left my skin feeling fresh for days afterwards. And the massage? My word! I honestly was a little concerned I’d be too relaxed to drive home safely! Their professionalism and attention to client comfort was exceptional. So grateful for their services!

I found Karissa and her fabulous skincare products at the farmers market, and loved them! Her virtual consultation helped me prep for my engagement party, and she did an incredible job with my makeup for the special day. Not only did I feel spectacular, her spa was a wonderful place to relax before my event, she was incredibly efficient and gave me great tips and explanations throughout the process. Cant wait to go back here!

We came here for a bachelorette weekend it had such a lovely experience! Karissa was so sweet and helped us set up a provide yoga class and then facials/massages for 4 people. We had the whole studio to ourselves and got to enjoy mimosas and just being pampered in a beautiful and calming space. I’m a little sad that I’m from out of town and can’t regularly go back.

Angel is an amazing masseuse and Karissa is extremely accommodating towards scheduling. I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a cool, local massage!

I can’t begin to explain how wonderful my experience was with 27 Gems. I booked a couples session. A facial for me and a massage for my husband. During the pandemic I have worked, studied taken care of my children in relative isolation and I was overdue for a moment of self care. I didn’t know how much I needed it but the moment I walked in I felt as if I had been transported to the Mediterranean. The serene atmosphere and calming decor set the tone for a truly transformative experience. My one hour facial was really more than just a facial it was one hour of pure bliss. I closed my eyes and the practitioner’s hand began to work washing away not only oil and dirt but fatigue and stress of the past 3 years. The facial incorporated quite a bit of massage and I felt like I was floating away. 3 years in a pandemic in relative isolation with limitations on human touch had created a void I didn’t know existed. So the facial and massage was a beautifully emotional experience. After my skin was glowing. It felt soft supple and hydrated for weeks after. I would definitely recommend them and can’t wait to book again.

Alexandra gave me such a soothing facial. She massages and worked on my neck and jaw that helped my lymphatic system release. In addition to softening and moisturizing my face, it was an awesome massage to my face, neck, and shoulders. On a stressful day, it left me relaxed and much happier.

The space is very comforting, with great products. I bought a beautiful piece of jewelry from this store and the quality in person looked so much better than it did online. I will definitely be going back for more.

Warm and cozy. Ive been twice with two different masseuse and was pleasantly pleased both times.

The staff was great. I was disappointed with what I thought was a facial. It was oils being rubbed on my face. For the price, they should focus more on giving an actual facial.

Best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had with Angel! I have chronic knots in my left shoulder and upper back and after one 90 minute session with Angel I felt so much better. Not only does she really get the tension out, she does so in a way that is not painful like some other deep tissue massages I’ve gotten in the past. She also incorporated some stretching which really helped the tension fade. Can’t recommend her enough if you want a sports recovery style massage!
