I’ve been coming to this location for over a year and in the past month I’ve had 2 bad experiences to make me not want to come back.1 - My eyebrows were threaded so harshly by a new employee that I started bleeding and the lady didn’t even bother apologizing, someone else had to come and finish me because she clearly didn’t know what she was doing. Neither addressed the fact the woman literally hurt me. I also had a scar on my eyebrow for over 3 weeks because of that.2 - I came back to give it another chance and she told me there was a $15 minimum to use my card. Mind you, the price of threading is $10 and I’ve always used my card with them and that was never a thing. I explain that and she was very rude and cold, said I need to use cash or spend $15 minimum, tried to gaslight me saying that’s always been the rule, and ended up charging me $16 to use my card.This place was a go to, but this kind of treatment for repeat customers is nasty. If your policy changes, that’s fine but treating me like I was crazy for questioning it is poor customer service. It doesn’t make it any better that she’s generally not friendly anyway. I will not be returning.I took a picture of this new “sign” that I was told was always there (a lie) and a screenshot of past payments where I always paid $12.70 ($10 thread + $2 tip + $0.70 tax) to show how full of it she is.

I recently visited this parlour for a waxing session, and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience.Its clear that the staff take pride in maintaining a hygienic environment.The lady at is top-notch. She is friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She used high-quality products that were gentle on my skin. The results were fantastic – smooth, hair-free skin with no irritation or redness.I highly recommend this parlour for anyone looking for a high-quality waxing service in or around Belleville .

Never coming back here. The worst Brazilian wax Ive ever had. Granted I dont get them done often, but other esthetician Ive seen would check your comfort level, give you a moment in between applications, and be gentler. This lady had none of these qualities. And its not till I noticed at the end that she did not use different wax sticks 😡 I got out of there so quick! Its been a few hours and Im still in pain. Stay away from this location, its empty for a reason. Reporting her to groupon as well.

I love going there with my daughter for threading my eye brows. The woman there is great and she is very professional. I would recommend Pooja for sure. Thank you for always keep my daughters and my eyebrows looking great!!!!

I used a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. The woman that serviced me used the same stick in the same wax jar for my whole service. It was only towards the end of the service did I see her physically put the same stick back in the jar which immediately freaked me out. I asked her why is she using the same stick and she said she uses a different jar for each client which is a lie. There was no disposable jar of wax she used on me. She uses a GiGi wax system that I see in multiple salons where they use a different stick every time they dip into the wax. I asked her to show me the jars and she wouldn’t. This is unsanitary and illegal. I reported her to Groupon and will also be notifying the state board. Totally disgusting practices.

I’ve been coming here for years!She’s amazing! Takes her time. I gradually got to the point where I was able to wax everything! She definitely had enough patience to help me stand the pain and she didn’t rush me. She took her time. The place is clean and the quality of wax is good ! Never had any problems. She on time when it comes to appointments which is very important for me. Always happy and willing to let you try new things ( parts of the body): I highly recommend!

Today is the last day I go to her, I have always put up with her not very pleasant attitude, she is very apathetic, she does the eyebrows very well but she lacks empathy when treating clients, today I went and a new lady served me without taking care the politeness of explaining to her how she makes them for me... the lady made them very bad for me, I didnt say anything, but Im not coming back. I dont know if she is the owner, but she lacks a lot of education.

Jyoti is great!! Ive been seeing her for threading (and occasional waxing) for the past three years and wont go anywhere else. Shes always friendly, everything is very clean, and makes you feel very comfortable!

People always say you should support local businesses and Ive been trying to do so. So I decided to give this place a chance since its only a couple of blocks from my house. Made an appointment yesterday for today and when I got there at the scheduled time, the place was closed. I called both numbers listed at the door and no answer. Its now more than 40 min after the scheduled appointment and no one has reached out with any explanation. Why make an appointment if youre not going to honor it? I feel really disrespected. I could have gone somewhere else today to get it done instead of waiting for this.

This is a good spot in Belleville, I recommend this to everyone, they have the best facials and waxings

I heard a lot about this place so decided to try it out! We all need a little self care, this place was excellent with their overall professionalism and knowledge of beauty products. My beautician Puja Sahni was amazing! I had an event and wanted something clean, elegant yet minimal to go with my outfit. I kid you not; my makeup was flawless, didnt get patchy, or anything moreover my hair stayed in place! My legs havent felt this smooth in the longest, she did a great job waxing. I loved how caring and gently her service was, Im definitely making more regular visits to Pooja Threading for my ME time with Puja Sahni

Worst experience ever ! Such a non professional person she is ! I always make appointment . last time i made the appointment at 1 . It was confirmed ! When i went there she said she is not available! Asked me to come at 2pm . Which i did , still she took someone else over me was doing body wax ! It is not the first time she did ! Even after making the appointment some time she had to leave the salon to buy lunch ! Sometimes she is in traffic ! Like how can yoi confirm appointments when you not gonna be there and ask the customer to come back !She is always on a family call loud speaker ! Leaving me half way while waxing on the call dealing with family call !She seems un grateful towards her clientage as she has no respect for other people timings and it is the worst experience every single time i went there just because it was nearby my house . But i prefer now to travel far instead of coming to this place ever again !If you want to feel waste and in a mood to experience some non professional behavior you must visit this place!Total time waste for me !I wish i can give her - reviews !

Her services are adequate for me because I have sparse brows and just get them threaded to have a template for when I wear makeup. They are rarely even when shes done with them though. There have been times when I go there during opening hours and the place is closed. When she is open, I can get in and out in 5 minutes on weekdays because theres never other customers.(dont trust the 5 star reviews)Last time I was there she told me i could make appointments and get coupons through whatsapp. She asked me to open google and took my phone. Unbeknownst to me, She was giving herself a 5-star review and had chosen a bunch of services I never get done with her. She wasnt able to proceed because it wasnt set up(never written a review.) She stood over me while I write a review before giving me the whatsapp number. (I deleted it when I got home to write this).

Puja was exceptionally amazing. I had a full face threading as well as facial done and she went above and beyond. I feel brand new and will absolutely be returning for more.

Quick service, but it was painful. I had a Brazilian wax. Then when paying she said that they don’t take Groupon, I showed her the Groupon which had the store’s name and she had no choice. Quite odd. Hopefully I don’t break out after this.

This place is a disgusting joke. I spent $166 on a Groupon just for them to tell me they discontinued it and weren’t willing to accept it one last time after I made the purchase. They do not care about their business or customers.

I donot want to give any star. They do not follow the instruction. I went twice and both time extremely disappointed. My whole thick eyebrows she converted into one single thread twice! Horrible .

DO NOT COME HERE! The lady I typically go to was not in so I decided to try this place out since it had 5 stars. My eyebrows were thick and beautiful after leaving here they were so thin and uneven. I have never cried this much about my eye brows she completely destroyed them! I cant explain how much i regret coming to this place! I do not understand how they have 5 stars! Super misleading!

I’ve been getting my eyebrows done by her for years, ever since she was at LA beauty Salon on Main Street, so she does pretty good work for the most part. However I was forced to learn how to do my own eyebrows because I got tired and frustrated with chasing her every time I want my eyebrows done. She has become very unreliable and unprofessional over the years. Her business hours on the door are up to her discretion, she may or may not actually be open. Then you’re lucky if you even find a parking space in that busy congested area that her shop moved to. If you call/text or dm to make an appointment (as she prefers) you may or may not get a response… sometimes it takes days or you just never hear back at all. I find it very hard to be pleasant when doing business with her now because of all I have to endure just to get my brows done so I’m shopping for a new professional, until then I’ll be diy waxing.

I have not done my eye brows in about two months so it was full and perfect to get a perfect shape and trim. But no instead they made my eye brows so thin that it’s irritating my skin of how much they had to take out. It was not that bad all I needed a trim to have it’s own shape. Instead they reshaped it so thin they are uneven as well 😾

I usually am so antsy when I get my brazilian wax, but pooja makes the experience so much better. She is fast & effecient. I’ve been stuck here since a year ago.

I usually only leave a review if service was proved, BUT advertising the correct information is important. Call before you go, as when I arrived as a walk-in the doors were locked up tight; according to google they should have been open . This inconveniences people because if a business is advertized as open until a certain time, it should be open upon arrival.
