Great staff. Never a long wait. They have the salt juice I like and the pods I use. Also a selection of paraphernalia including dab rigs, Huka & water pipes etc... Almost anything you need as far as that goes. Prices are a little higher than I expected but the product is solid. They also have a point system which is nice so you can get $ off towards your next purchase. Good place to do business

Sugar on Magnolia is a pretty cool shop. They are very helpful & knowledgeable in the world of electronic smoking...from vaping units, atomizers (coils) & a great wall of vape juice flavors to choose from, etc. They could come down on some of the prices, however they do have a good incentive for saving money over a period of time. I like to vape, I like nicotine & I like cigarettes as well; its a nice midway to being one lung Smokey & the other one vapor. I would recommend Sugar to the public, friends & acquaintances alike. Go in & check out their inventory & dont forget to ask them about their incentive program, theyll set you up!

2 years later: um, why is the local ice cream shop open later than a head shop like this? They close at 9:00 p.m., thats pretty hilarious considering after 9:00 p.m. is typically some of their most profitable hours. This means that they cant find somebody to work that late, which means they are not paying their employees enough. So pay your employees more and get somebody to work till midnight, like a brand new head shop. Or you know, 2:00 a.m. like the rest of the established shops?Old review: EXCELLENT pricing. The glass shop across the street could learn a thing or two from these peeps. Eh, come on yall, its peeps trying to make a living. Left my vape sitting on my desk at home during an out of town trip so I had to improvise. Found this shop on Google and swung in. They were able to get me set up with a small kit and out the door in 10 minutes, very clean shop with a great selection of liquids. Staff member who helped me was friendly and once he heard my sob story suggested some items that ended up being a perfect fit. Wish we had shops of this caliber in my hometown.

Some employees are helpful, others can be... a bit slow. I miss a manger is come in amd only purchase from her on the evening who was happy and educated Laurel. Other manager has had tons of attitude and it’s me before for simple things. Makes it hard to go in cause of uncertainty but prices are fair and the music is good

Staff are nice, but the prices are getting ridiculous. Plus they dont seem to check their stock of e-juices, they sold me a small 30ml bottle of liquid that was totally expired, for full price. $20 for old juice, of of course.... no refunds. What I really need to do is stop being impatient and just order my vape stuff online, cause Sugar use to sell the pods I need for $13-$15, but they have recently marked them up to around $20. Come on. You can find the same exact product MUCH cheaper online. Just a bummer. I use to really like this place but everything is over priced, old, and sub par. Even more their glass is cheap Chinese glass. This Kratom product they have has dropped in quality it just sucks. Things have definitely changed. An extra star for most the staff are nice.

Staff are friendly, but the selection is always terrible! There aren’t many options for vape stores in Bellingham, so I have to go here. I don’t understand how they can ALWAYS be out of vape juice options. They’ve been saying it’s “shipping” issues for a couple years- but anywhere I go outside of Bellingham has no issues with their stock.

I started going here originally because its super close to my work (3 minute drive), but I keep going because its genuinely a great shop! The staff has always been nothing but nice to me, they have excellent prices, and if they ever do not have a product I am seeking in stock, they order it and call me when its ready to purchase! Im super happy with my experiences at this location.

Great place in a convenient location with a wide selection, very helpful employees, and rewards program for regular customers. Fired the terrible manager with a temper and I feel more comfortable than ever coming here again. (Story below)A long time ago, I had a major issue with the store manager and it escalated quickly as she raged on to slander me. It started when I brought in a vape pen that I spent about $60: the carriages were breaking repeatedly when taken out. I spoke with the assistant manager over the phone about this and she said she could help. I explained to the manager what the assistant manager said she could do and she immediately cut me off before I could finish. The manager said that the assistant manager would never say that because their policy was...ect, ect. She proceeded to escalate the situation when I asked for her to speak to her assistant or offer an alternative solution. She literally could have given me a $2 cartridge and deescalated this. I was really shocked at her demeanour through this all because we talked many times and our dogs loved seeing each other whenever I came in. But instead she intentionally infuriated and gas lit me into revengeful rage. I opened a claim with my credit card company and after some time got this all resolved. It did not have to get to this point! She could have said sorry for the mistake/miscommunication but we can do this or that instead. Id have walked out feeling like we both compromised to a reasonable solution. Instead she chose to escalate this and get her boss involved with Visa cc company. I hope she has learned how to deal with conflict resolution through this and found employment elsewhere that is equitable for her and the customers.

Its a kickin spot for the homeless downtown Bellingham (well I should say the alleyway is). Actually never have been inside but the place looks pretty cool.

The employees are incredibly knowledgeable and kind and patient. Unfortunately the owner steals their tips which is super illegal D: he also refuses to wear a mask and over charges for thing that I usually pay less for. Sounds like he doesnt often work on the floor and doesnt understand how his own shop works. Pulled something out of the discount box and charged me full price. This is the owners fault not the employees who are wonderful.If you tip make sure you write out who its for or Im afraid they wont actually receive it.

These guys are awesome! I absolutely love anyplace so cheap that I get the added benefit of getting to afford tipping 30% to 50 %. Its a total win win for me every time, & I see absolutely no need to ever go anywhere else honestly.

Great shop! Tons of product variety, and super friendly, chill staff. My only complaint is that there TOO many different brands and strains of Kratom... ;) But the very friendly woman guided me to an awesome choice! They are my new go-to Kratom source!

Probably the friendliest head shop staff Ive ever seen, and Ive lived in 5 different states and over 20 different cities.The selection they have of pipes, bongs and even kratom is unreal. So many options. Definitely recommend.

I’ve moved to Bellingham from out of state a little over a year ago and have been to this shop many many times since. Let me just say, I have NEVER in my life first hand witnessed so many overly entitled grown adults throwing tantrums over not having IDs, for something not being in stock, and I for real had to wait ten minutes for this grown man to demand a new juice because he stated “they put the wrong juice in the bottle” I couldn’t believe my ears. This man was quiet literally YELLING at this poor girl for not being able to return a half used bottle. I don’t know how employees can endure so much disrespect on the daily and still come to work. Let’s not even bring up the poor RiteAid employees next door.It’s crazy to me as I’m reading these “reviews” where they’re not even reviews but perfect examples of what I’m talking about. I was physically PRESENT when some of these things were happening and LORD I can’t believe how many people are publicly on here showing how childish their mentalities are. SAD.WITH that being said, this store has great prices on glass, plus with the rewards, it’s the cheapest place around for glass, for sure!

My husband went in to get coils for my Nord Vape 2. He asked them for the correct coils for that model and left. He was there just at closing so when we opened the package and saw they gave us the wrong coils we couldnt walk right back in. We came back a few days later to have them swap the wrong ones for the right ones and they flat refused to give us the correct coils as an exchange because we opened the box. So now i have a box of coils I cant use for ANYTHING and wasted 20 dollars on because this shop apparently has a NO ACCOUNTABILITY policy. Seeing as how they were the ones who gave us the incorrect coils to begin with, its absolute bull to not swap them out. No exchange even though none have been used because they are TOO BIG.Make sure if you buy from here they give you what you asked for before walking out because after that it becomes your problem. Unbelievable and terrible customer service and terrible policy for unused items that YOU sold us INCORRECTLY. Never coming here again! Which is a shame because we buy vape oils and coils fairly often. But I refuse to shop from a place that deceptively sells you incorrect items and then refuses to give you the right product you initially asked for. Im going to call my bank and dispute the charges. Its unacceptable to do this to customers for YOUR MISTAKES. Its a bait and switch and its basically robbery in my opinion.

I stopped by this store last night to upgrade my tank and mod. The clerk working last night (Male blond 20-30 years old) was so out of it, he couldnt even answer my questions. Im not going to try and guess what his issue was but I was even waving my hand in front of his face to get his attention and it didnt work and he was standing right in front of me!! The only info I could get out of him was the price of the items. I was glad I did some research online before I went shopping.I ended up spending about $200.00 there, and after I left I found the same thing online at a much lower price. I dont mind paying extra to support a local owned business so Im ok with the purchase I made.The usual clerks were not there and this is the first time Ive seen this worker there. Normally they are very very helpful and kind.**Im editing my review to 5 stars because I went into the store a couple of days ago and the same clerk was extremely helpful and attentive. I dont know if he was just having an off day or what but hey...everyone has them. I recommend this store for anyone who has questions about vaping. They also have a large variety of tanks mods and coils.

These guys are fantastic! Very wide variety of vape gear and juice, kratom, and all sorts of glass. They are always very willing to help with whatever you might need, at times Ive watched them help out for hours at a time with a single issue. Well worth keeping your money local!

Great selection of vape accessories & rolling papers. The location is good, so I do shop here, but the prices are literally double what you would pay online for most items. I understand shipping fees are a thing, but i would feel a lot better about spending my money there if the prices were just a TINY bit lower. Compared to other vape supplies distributors in town their prices are (mostly) average. That being said, I always prefer to put money back into the community at small local businesses over shopping online, if My wallet can take the tax.

I am giving this one star because customer service is the most important part of the experience , and today an African American woman denied me service because she was “closed” an hour before the closing time, I proceeded to ask again, because it was not supposed to be closed and was treated terribly , not too mention that the management clearly sucks…. Man..... This place went downhill IN A HURRY... These new guys could care less about you or if you get what you need.. which whatever I guess, what put Me over the edge was when they sold me a nail with a stress crack in it, which isnt really theyre fault at all. Like anyone who frequents a store on a more than weekly basis I figured why not just ask if they could do anything... The response I got was him laughing in my face, which is fine considering he runs the store and has that authority. What really shows these guys character was when they actually banned me from the store because I said no worries, Ill update my review.... Which btw,I didnt actually intend to do over $30 considering in general they were ok people and we were both laughing about it when I walked out.. until I walked in two weeks later and got asked to leave lol. H I want this review to be fair, this doesnt include the entirety of the staff, and even the person who through me out was reasonable and did theyre best to not embarrass me.. at the end of the day I guess hes right, sugar holds essentially a monopoly for reasonably priced vape products. They also know what theyre doing. If something goes wrong with anything they sell you dont bother reasonably asking if there was any way for them to rectify it, youll likely end up banned from the store. Guess ill have to spend the money I save not paying 100% markup on cheap Chinese products and spend it on overnight shipping. Ill live. No hard feelings boys, wish you all the best

The staff working the night of Wednesday the 27th were friendly and so helpful! They let me try several glass peices with water, and made sure I knew about current sales. The lady who cashed me out reminded me about reward points I had, which ended up saving me 5% on my purchase. I really appreciated the empathy they showed me :)Despite my recent awesome experience, I have had a couple experiences going in during the daytime to buy vape juice with much less than stellar assistance. A male employee that I talked to once didnt seem too happy about me asking about different flavors of juices or prices, and seemed more interested in his vape rings than helping me out.So hit or miss experiences with employees, but regardless a great variety of vape juices, glass peices, and other smoking stuff!

Clean shop, professional staff. Certain stock rotates faster than others, so you might have to be on your toes for favorites. Great if you’ve never been in a head shop before.

Called ahead of time to make sure they had what I wanted considering I don’t live in Bellingham. Dani (employee) wouldn’t tell me because “over the phone she can’t tell if I’m of age” considering I’ve done this a million times with many vape shops in my area and am not purchasing anything over the phone I assumed it wouldn’t be an issue. I’m particular with what juices I get and don’t want to waste time and gas going somewhere for nothing I don’t understand why it would be a problem to confirm if they have what I’m looking for

Sadly the vape pods I get for my Sourin air get burnt after only 2 days of having them. I’ve had this device for a long time and never had this issue with my pods. They usually last me a week but somehow this stores only last me two days. I’m not sure if they’re selling old pods or what because I’m doing the exact same thing I have always done when filling up and using my pods and this only started happening when I bought from this store.

Ive just moved to town and had ran out of kratom I had been there once before and was restocking a second time before my order online showed up. I had not had a problem the previous visit but on 8/13/18 at about 12:45pm I walked in and only one younger guy was working at least thats how it appeared at the time. It wasnt do much the fact he didnt greet me when I walked in I can understand being busy with the one other customer that was in there as Im in retail too, thats excusable. The problem I had is he acted like I didnt even exist he continued to visit with the woman that was there, and not once looked at me to say Ill be right with you. He just continued to visit, and I didnt even see or hear him talking about product to the woman. Then during my 15 minutes of standing there waiting for at least some kind of acknowlegment another guy walked in carrying a bag of food and a drink, I assume he was on break as he hesitated to walk right in front of me to the back room with out even looking in my direction, being on break I understand hes not allowed to work but for Gods sake smile at someone, or nod your head as you walk by dont just stare at the ground purposely ignoring someone. You would think charging .40 cents a gram for kratom they would have more initiative to help a customer that was there to buy 6oz but no, they were more worried about food and flirting. You may think .40 cents a gram is nothing unless you know the fact like I do the average cost per gram just about any reputable online company is at most only .09 cents a gram so making 4 times the average cost is a cash cow for them especially when someone is buying in bulk with no bulk discount. The man at the counter only made eye contact or even looked in my direction after my 15 mins of being ignored I walked out the front door and he looked me over just to make sure I wasnt taking something. Your competitors got my business that day as I walked in was greeted with a smile and walked out less than 5 mins later with what I wanted, and they got your $70 you could have made in 5mins....i wont be back, if I run out your business is not the only one in town that sells kratom, oh and you might want to reconsider your price too as Ill be sure to tell the kratom community what the real average cost is now that Ive moved to the area....good luck staying in business with employees like the 2 you had working on Sunday.... peace!✌Reply: who are you calling Me Brad? Very pretty glass collection they have kratom for those who like it. One of the only stores I know and this area that also sell a whole leaf tobacco for $6 get a lot of raps out of that much more than a pack of backwoods

What a horrible person. I stopped in to shop for a product i knew little about. When i asked for assistance the arrogant man behind the counter told me to go home and read up about it on the internet and come back when Im ready to buy something. Well I was ready to buy tonight, the item cost about $300. What a stupid little man. Do yourself a favor- shop right across the street at Gathering Glass Designs. Rude rude rude rude rude. That is the owner of this store in a nutshell. He yelled at me for doing nothing, He was just a horrible person who needs a lesson in customer relations. Everything in there is twice as much as it should be. Plus it stinks in there. I dont know if they dont take the trash out or what but with how much they over price everything youd think they would have enough to pay for trash service. I was hoping to like this place. I *tried* to like this place. But I did not care for the way I was chased rudely out of the walk-in humidor and forced to peer in at the labels from a distance, or the bad attitude I have seen on display there every time Ive visited. As a cigar outlet -- well, I think I will stick with Fairhaven Smoke.In the owners defense, this is probably a really hard place to do business without a healthy sense of paranoia.

Love Sugar Magnolia. Anytime I call Sugar they are very kind and help me find the salt I need. Then, someone picks it up for me.When I called Jan 30, 2022 at 3:26pm I talked to a girl and let her know I needed her help to find a savory salt. She told me I can come down and look at the 50 different salt flavors because there are people standing in line.I let her know we do it this way because Im bedridden. Then she hung up on me.I only wish I could stand in-line. 😢

Great selection, Terrible Service. They dont stand behind thier products at all. If you buy something, get it home and it doesnt work, or breaks Instantly, youre out of luck. Wow. Absolute worst vape shop ever. Ive never seen such bad customer service. The staff were literally screaming at each other with customers in the store, swearing and making everyone uncomfortable. Customers had to wait until they were finished fighting to be helped. Also, I called in an hour before showing up, to confirm the product was in.... Get there, and they didnt have it. All around really frustrating experience.Avoid the hassle of sugar on magnolia. There is an ecig place less than a block away that offers a more relaxed atmosphere and friendly knowledgable customer service.This occurred at about 615 on Thursday December 13, 2018.

If I could give it no stars I would. At one time this place was a head shop. The bears are still on the front, so if it changed owners its hard to tell from the outside. I would stop there for cloves in the past. My mistake for not noticing the change to what it is now. Not seeing cloves I asked and was given a very snarky and condescending reply that We dont carry cigarettes. Delivered as if I should know and why must I insist the speaker dirty their tongue having to utter the words. I got annoyed and muttered that they were different and walked out without delay. That should have been the end. Its not. That man child followed me out shouting I would not be allowed back. A woman claiming to be the manager was just outside and asked, to her credit, what was happening. I told her he was snarky and rude to me. She replied, that was just his personality and I should be more flexible. He is continuing to shout, I shouted in return an walked away. Make no mistake folks, dont ask a question in error here. You risk being berated, followed, yelled at, and then being told you are unreasonable. SOM, no worries, I shall not be returning.

Everytime i walk in im greated with a hows it going brotha!. other reviews speak of the owner as a mean guy but the store is located on a very bad corner of town, so he see far too many transient customers who often cause him problems. if you actually talk to the guy he will bullshit with you for hours. hes very educated on oil setups and always keeps a huge stock. he always throws in free stuff or nice discounts. its a far better shop then the gathering, in terms of prices not quality of glass. Avalon is a joke too, its like a hipsters paradise in there. if your looking to actually buy something this is the shop for you.

I understand the fact that this man is trying to do business in a less than desirable location, but he seriously needs to rethink of how he interacts with his customers. I went in there looking for a product, and he was standoffish from the get go. I asked to see three(small) different things from a single shelf from one of his cases. He tried to redirect me into selling me something that he wanted me to buy, told him I wasnt interested in that particular one and wanted to see it in a different color. From there, he refused to show me anything else, saying that he didnt want to open up the whole case. I asked him if he was serious, he said yes, then I walked out the door. Granted, I called him an expletive first, but he didnt hesitate to curse right back at me. He is extremely rude and sad. Save yourself the trouble and go across the street to The Gathering, they have much higher quality products and way better service.

I was the only customer with 3 staff working when I went in. They were helpful and honest. I het confused easily when talking about the technical details of my vape but the staff really just helped me out and they didnt make me feel bad at all. %100 recommend.
