In Joy Foot Reflexology

I took my sister here for her birthday, it was both of our first time. Ive had many massages at world class spas that didnt even come close to this one. Theres nothing more wonderful than discovering a neighborhood gem like this. Cindy was AMAZING I will definitely be back!

I would leave 0 stars if I could….We arrived 5 minutes late into the hot, dark, smelly place and were welcomed by saying “next time you will be late, you need to call”… we got into the massage room, they knocked I said I wasn’t ready meanwhile they still entered. The massage was the roughest massage I ever had. I kept saying the pressure needed to be lighter however that fell on death ears. Mid way through, the man started sweating and it touched my cheek 🤮 absolutely disgusting. When asked to flip over, the scalp massage was a not a massage… it was the tech literally pulling my hair to the point of me saying enough. When the massage was over, I planned to provide all of this feedback to the person at the desk. I was hoping they would say “how was everything” but they did not. I wish I could say this was just my experience however my husband had the same experience when I asked how his massage was. Save your time and money and do not go here!!!

The smell of feet knocks you down when you open the front door. The guy with the glasses at the front desk is the worse. They need to make sure everyone has a license to work there. The price is decent but no one should have to deal with the smell or the rudeness of the guy at the counter. He wants you to pay first,what if you dont like your services. Moral of the story is he is a weirdo and I hate this establishment for me and anyone else as long as he is there and that smell count me and anyone I know out!!!! Everyone that left a review and was disappointed I see I agree. The board of health for the smell and the weirdo at the front desk needs to go. Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently went this past Sunday. It was easy to call a head for available appointment times I had 90 min combo massage at a reasonable price . The place was clean and quiet ... the only thing I wish they had was an option for aromatherapy oils like eucalyptus or lavender oil with the experience. I think I will make this a monthly treat to myself :)

I have had many messages in the past. However nothing relaxed me more than the message I had here. Alis I had a lot of pain in my neck area and walked out with no pain at all. Needless to say how better I felt overall. Clean and very nice employees

I have had a hand full of experiences at “In Joy” foot reflexology, and it continues to surpass my expectations, and I always enjoy my foot reflexology treatments. The front desk clerk is super funny and welcoming. The staff overall treats their clientele with grace and humility. I have read some negative reviews regarding this location, and being a true New Yorker and navigating the culture In this side of town has been quite the colorful experience. Needless to say , come with a positive attitude and you will be meet with just that, positive vibes and a true relaxing experience… and don’t forget to tip your service provider… after they are massaging your feet people🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I scheduled a 45 minute foot massage and it was fantastic! The tech was amazing and the facilities are fantastic and clean. A must visit.

I had knee replacement surgery recently and had a lot of foot and leg pain. After a foot reflexology session Im floating on air. Relieved.

My girlfriend and i made an appointment to get massages here and when we walk in this guy at the front desk tells us “pay now so he can leave” so we said no because who pays for anything before hand??? All because he didnt want to sit in a chair until 9 FOR AN APPOINTMENT THAT HE SCHEDULED. Why schedule something at 8:15 pm if you dont want to do your job? Then this guy wants to say “i dont understand whats the problem im not asking for tip just pay now because i wont be here when you’re done” i dont think this dude actually realizes how delusional he is. Then he has the nerve to call my girlfriends phone again to say “just confirming this is the right number” (i guess to try to be petty and block her number) so she asked him not to call again because he’s rude and this guy say he didnt want us as customers anyway so i got nasty on the phone at that point. Honestly took everything in me not to walk back in that store the way this guy was acting. Overall bad experience im happy i didn’t give my money to that guy he needs to watch his tone with his customers although we did feel bad that his employees missed out on their tips since we cancelled because he was in such a rush to go home and so nasty for no reason.Also if he would’ve asked nicely it wouldn’t have been a huge deal, but he was disrespectful and for sure needs a reality check lol.

The worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life. The grouchy gentleman at the front needs to find a different career in life. Ive been going here for a few years and hes always treated me with disrespect telling me I booked the wrong kind of appointment. Maybe he needs to listen a little better. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. His reply below is false and shows his ignorance. He takes the joy out of joy.

Great place to get a massage! I go often, switching between an hour foot massage, and full body. The price is great, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. I’ve never had a bad massage here, highly recommend.

I have been coming here for a few years and find the reflexology to be top notch. The technicians are all great and it’s probably the most relaxing experience I’ve ever experienced. I have had many different types of massage, but this is my absolute favorite and you can’t beat the price.

This establishment is run extremely poorly. The ATTITUDE of the front desk is unacceptable, he should be dismissed. He is so miserable that he talks to every customer with disrespect. It would be better for this place if someone who barely spoke English but was at least nice to customers was at the desk. I walked out because of his horrible attitude. You just lost $150 and all future money from me. I really hope another Asian massage place opens nearby because surely, everyone will give this new place business. Only reason I tried in the first place because my doc was nearby. Too bad the people in Wall only have your stinky foot place as an option but I wish for them to find a really good place that opens up near you, they will all celebrate!

Have been there many times with Cindy who is wonderful. Upon arriving today I asked for an hour foot massage with Cindy. After a few minutes a woman came out and brought me to the massage area.I noticed Cindy is with another client. When I questioned this the receptionist who is a man in an extremely rude manor told me Cindy was busy which was quite apparent. Then standing over me asked do I want to continue or leave. I told him I did not want to continue. As I was leaving the male receptionist told me not to come back as if he owned the salon.That was never going to happen anyway. They have lost my business as well as several friends.

What a wonderful experience today at this spa! Jason at the front desk was extremely helpful and Wendy was incredible! She has those kind of hands that can move swiftly and deeply with a caring nature behind her work. So happy with this place!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been going to In Joy (FKA Happy Feet) for years. I personally have never had a bad experience. As a runner I am there once a week. Training for a bunch of halfs and two full marathons, my visits after my long runs have made it so much easier, as the next day I always feel 100% better (thank you CoCo and Amy, you are the best!). I recommend this place to everyone and those who have gone thank me for the recommendation. Ronny and the staff are friendly, the place is reasonably priced, clean, and music is relaxing. They now offer chair massages along with reflexology and massages. My personal go to is the 45 min massage / 45 min reflexology combo - it is well worth it!

The best place clean friendly and excellent massage !!!

I am a physical therapist myself and sometimes my body takes a beating taking care of other bodies. In Joy has been my go-to place to work on my aches and pains. Most times I am able to walk in and get taken care of. I’ve mostly done reflexology but today went for the full body massage with Amy and she was fantastic. In my line of work I’ve had lots of body work done but I swear the work here at In Joy beats many of the other local (and much more expensive) spas. I recommend it to many of my patients and can’t wait to see Amy again.

Ive been here a couple of times for foot massage and chair massage. Im really not sure how I feel about it so I think its best if I just dont say anything and give it three stars overall. If youve enjoyed massage in the past, try it here and decide for yourself. I suppose its hard to be too disappointed with a massage. I think the issue here is theres a communication gap between the client and the masseuse.

Fantastic experience, will definitely schedule again

Ive been coming to the old establishment Happy Feet for years now and I absolutely loved them. Once I found out Happy Feet sold to In Joy, I figured it would be the same, but I was completely wrong. I had made an appointment in advance and when I arrived to In Joy with my friend, the receptionist looked at me like I had 5 heads. The front desk must have messed up my appointment or got confused when I asked to make two appointments at the same time (one for me and one for my friend.) My friend got to go right in while I was waiting in the front area for a good 10 minutes. Finally, the receptionist takes me to the back and starts my massage. He had the phone in his hand and working on my shoulders at the same time. He would answer the phone when a customer would call in and then stop massaging me. What a horrible experience and to top it all off, I was extremely dizzy after my massage and then got a pinched nerve for about a week. They should have told me they messed up the appointment and to come back another time. Instead, the guy didnt know what he was doing, and I walked out with paying full price + tipping and sore/ dizzy as anything. Ill give this place another chance since Ive been going for a while, but Im hoping the next experience will be better.

Massage was very relaxing but as soon as they brought me back, the smell of stinky feet was so strong and horrible. A friend went the very next day and said the exact same thing. It was horrible! If they could only get a better ventilation system or air fresheners, it would be great!!

Amazing place! Im on my feet 6 days a week and the hour foot reflexology is a godsend! I rarely ever stay awake its so soothing. You usually hear snoring walking to your chair, lol. I swear by this place.

I really want to like this place, really. Go food shopping at WhoFo, throw the overpriced sundries in the car (pending if there is meltable ice cream included and what season it is), and then go next door get the feet rubbed for an hour. Brilliant!However, three separate visits have all yielded the same result: I feel like I just paid for someone to just apply lotion to my feet for an hour. Granted, I would never have the persistence to apply lotion to my own feet for an hour, yet I know I came here for a massage and there is a complete absence of actual massage each time. Just lotion. Not even lotion, but lotion and oil. So much lotion and oil combined that this is starting to look like a recipe.It is almost as if each time I would have had a better massage by a mime, who was not actually touching my feet, but acted out as if they were really a foot massage therapist.BONUS: Love the quirky, constantly overwhelmed front desk guy switching rapid fire between Mandarin and English almost as fast as he switches between using a face mask and not using a face mask. I cant help if he takes the mask on and off as he profiles each new guest coming into the space whether or not they have COVID. He made me smile so an extra star for the star of the show.

They are cheap but good it’s a very relaxing experience I like to meditate while I’m getting a foot message I don’t know if the therapists are licensed which could be a problem

Very good customer despite the true knowledge of reflexology. Tip generously every time. One day I had an emergency and could not get cash to tip and next visit was confronted on why I didnt tip. very unprofessional when I walked in about the gratuity despite being loyal customer 5 of the 7 days a week and a very generous tipper. Need some business wherewithal before I consider returning!

Went in for an hour massage with someone. Initially, it started out great but it just went downhill. Super aggressive massage. I asked her to bring it down but as many reviewers mentioned, they dont really speak english. 45 minutes in I asked to stop because I was entrenched in sweat. When I got out, I was told by the person I went with that they had the same experience.

As a returning customer, I had a terrible experience here. I had a gift certificate for one hour foot reflexology (my usual). Upon the start, my worker was sniffling. They usually do about 10 minutes of back work. When proceeding to my feet, my worker continued to sniffle, wipe his nose, and cough. When I opened my eyes, I noticed that through doing all of this, he continued to touch my body without sanitizing. I asked if he was sick and he said “yes, but it’s okay.” I stated that it was not okay and that I would like to come back. This was 20 minutes into the one hour treatment. Upon going to the desk to explain what happened, he said that I should have stopped immediately, therefore I could not be refunded my full amount. He gave me a 12 dollar credit, which isn’t even half, in return (the gift certificate was worth $40). He said that because I didn’t come out immediately he couldn’t refund me because I was able to “enjoy” the treatment. I explained that I wanted to be sure and that it was awkward. I also mentioned that I am a consisted client. He would not budge in my refund and did not seem to understand that it was NOT enjoyable at all. I will not go back after this awful experience of customer service. I used to speak highly of them until this point. But having someone who is ill touch clients bodies without even trying to stay clean was a major turn off on top of the lack of customer perspective. I will take my business elsewhere.

I flew to New Jersey from Florida To spend a week at the beach in Spring Lake. The morning of my flight, I woke up with terrible back pain. Upon my arrival at the beach, my family suggested a massage to help relieve my pain. They called “Happy Feet” (aka in Joy) and the front desk gentleman said I could come down in 20 minutes for a full hour massage. Tom was my therapist. I explained to him where my pain was. Tom went to work immediately on my Piriformis muscle with great power and strength, for a small statured man. He concentrated on that area for a great deal of time, and still managed to massage the rest of my back, neck and legs!! The massage concluded with hot stones and a hot steamed towel! My experience at Happy Feet Exceeded my expectations, and I am someone who gets massages often. I was so thrilled that my pain was relieved. Now, Three family members are going today for massages!! Looking forward to a painless week at the beach!!

This place has the worst receptionist i ever encounter ,he so unhappy with his life that he shows it in his work place . He was so rude since the beginning and when i ask for a female to do my massage he got mad cause I don’t feel comfortable with a man touching my body . He kick me out because of this request. This is not the first time he has been rude and I’ve heard about it from other customers. I’ll make sure no one that i know comes here.

Took my sister and 13 year old daughter last night for a one hour reflexology. Wow! Skilled and strong staff. Beautiful facility, loved the atmosphere. All 3 of us had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to go back!

Just had my first reflexology foot massage at Happy Feet! Spectacular! My feet feel like they are alive again. Would love to do it on a regular basis and I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot. The foot massage was great and my foot was much better the next day after months of pain. Ill be going back.

All you have to do is roll your pants up and relax. It is not difficult to fall asleep during an hour foot massage, but so worth it. The community room takes getting used to because not everyone has different levels of etiquette. That does not deter me from going there......must go visit!

You need to take care of your feet so they will take care of you. That in mind you should visit HAPPY FEET in Wall. They are reasonably priced and offer services to keep you moving at your best.On my first visit I took advantage of their 60 minut e foot massage. My wife was shopping in T J Maxx and I thought by 30 minutes I would be done and ready to leave. I was wrong, way wrong. They offered a wonderfully relaxing treatment that I enjoyed for the full hour. I think I may have actually skipped down the sidewalk when I left feeling very relaxed and pain free.You have to try them just as I did and you will make it a routine.

My daughter in law and I had a fabulous foot message today. We were taken on time and both soooo pleased with our masseurs. The only reason I did not give a 5 star was due to the fact they do not have headphones with music to isolate the outside noise. They did have nice tranquil relaxing music piped in but you can still hear the normal movements of the others in the room. I will be back with my own earbuds.....definitely returning. Thanks Peter!

This place is great! Massage and reflexology are on point. The only minor issue if I really had to dig for one is communication. No one really speaks English. But you dont go there for talking.

THE WORST FOOT AND BACK MASSAGE I EVER RECEIVED. I FELT LIKE I WAS ASSAULTED. THE MAN THAT GAVE ME THE MASSAGES WAS SO ROUGH THAT IT WAS ACTUALLY VERY PAINFUL AND I WASNT SURE IF ANY DAMAGE WAS DONE. I WAS SORE FOR 2 DAYS AFTER. I REALLY SHOULD REPORT THIS MAN TO THE POLICE OR FILE A LAWSUIT. I REPEATEDLY TOLD THE MAN WHO PERFORMED THE FOOT AND BACK MASSAGES, THAT HE WAS DOING IT TOO HARD AND THE PRESSURE DID NOT CHANGE. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING AN ATTORNEY FOR DAMAGES.
