Had a couples massage here. The massage itself was great, but my boyfriend had booked a special package and it fell short on presentation. There were wrapped snacks provided on a little cart, along with literal bags of Doritos. Not what we expected for a $500 package.

The therapist was skilled and attentive, making sure I was comfortable throughout. I got a great Chinese trigger point massage here. The massage table used disinfection and disposable products. During the special period of COVID-19, I felt safe. Very friendly staffs, definitely come back often.

My daughter, who’s a regular here at the Bethesda location, gifted me a massage to their Cordell Avenue spa, but I’d never visited any of Tea Spa’s locations before today’s visit. My excellent massage therapist, Jenny, was professional and warm, listened to my needs, made me feel comfortable in every aspect, and was extremely competent in delivering a seamless, 50-minute massage, while unexpectedly lulling me into a half-sleep - a first for me! I’ve had many massages throughout my life, in several different countries, but today’s, right here in Bethesda, was easily the most relaxing experience I’ve ever had. So happy to highly recommend Jenny!

I love this place. It’s small and simple, never overcrowded or loud which I really appreciate, so you just get to be relaxed and not overstimulated or pushed to buy something extra. Jenny is the absolute best, the massage is always excellent and she is also so calming and kind. I would get a massage by her every week if I could!!

Tea spa is amazing!! I’ve been to all their locations and honestly they’re all great. Massages are excellent and reasonably priced. All their locations are super clean and inviting. Love them

This place was wonderful. Calm, fun atmosphere, and great masseuses. DeepTissue was so nice, and thorough. My sis and I came out feeling so refreshed.

I went here for the first time and will definitely be back! The staff is so nice. I did an In n’ Out facial (25 minutes) with Shoshanah and it was amazing. I actually fell asleep because I was so comfortable and relaxed. I left looking and feeling great. I can’t wait to come back!

The massage therapist did a great job! My hip has been hurting and the muscles were really tight. She made it feel so much better! Perfect amount of pressure and knew just where the tight muscles were. I highly recommend them!

I have been here before and typically have had a positive experience but this morning I showed up for an 80 minute massage, deep tissue with hot stones, and was told my massage was only 50 minutes.While I understand technical glitches happen in the online booking system, I was told 80 minutes would be okay, only to undress and get on the table, then have someone come in and tell me my massage was only going to be 50 minutes. I was told someone had just booked the time after my massge.Why wasnt the schedule blocked for 80 minutes after the glitch was identified? It should have been.The staff was completely unable to troubleshoot this situation, telling me it would only be 50 minutes repeatedly as I was laying face down on the table.I had booked this massage several days ago, and the appointment that came after mine was booked while I was on the table.I asked of the staff could call the person who scheduled late to let them know the system booked over another appointment and the staff said no, even though there was room on another masseuses schedule.I ended up leaving before my massage even began given this was already 15 minutes AFTER my massage was scheduled to start.How can a technical glitch lead to an double booking of an appointment, and result in the person who scheduled an appointment days before leaving?It was aburd, unprofessional, and mindblowing that no one knew how to troubleshoot the situation. Instead of working to find a solution, the staff allowed for the loss of a $180 massage plus tip, and lost a customer.Update: Immediately after posting this review, Tea Spa customer service reached out to apologize for this situation and said it should not have happened, that they would be conducting additional training for new employees.They did offer a discounted massage at another location, North Bethesda. I booked a deep tissue massage with Lisa, followed by a 30 minute complimentary sauna session and it was a combined experience I never knew I needed. I will go back to North Bethesda.

Friendly service, massage was very relaxing with the right amount of pressure. The only reason I gave a 9 was because it was a little too warm in the room and most of my massage was done face down and about 10 min face up. I would recommend this place to anyone. 4.5 stars

Great massage. Everything inside was clean and warm. The ginger tea and biscoff cookie at the end were the cherry on top.

I read the positive reviews of Health and Wealth and can say that I share the good sentiments. The facility is very clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and the foot massage was great—relaxing but with enough pressure to work out the sore muscles. I loved the music they play and the beds are super comfy.

I attended Health is Wealth for a massage just before the holidays and wow! These girls are amazing. They are very attentive to whatever ailments you might have and worked wonders on my very stiff shoulders! I highly recommend and just booked another session!

Be careful of 5 star reviews for this business. They are bribing people with free services if they provide one, see pic. This place is good for the price, which is very low. I wouldnt go for therapeutic treatment, however. I asked if they could provide a foot massage that would focus on my Achilles tendonitis and, while I was told that wasnt a problem, none of the work the provider did was related to that. It didnt seem that the therapist was professionally trained. If you just want a relaxing foot massage, however, this is a good deal.

They have always been a good deal for a couples massage, even have hot stones and essential oils. They know exactly where to focus just by feel. I felt so much better after my appointment. Thanks!

I found this place because I work next door! I always saw the advertisements so I decided to give it a try. It’s $59 for 60 minutes which I think is an AMAZING price especially for the Bethesda area. It’s $10 extra for hot oil/hot stones. I highly recommend the hot stones. I texted them to make this appointment and they’re quick! The quality of the massage for the price is unbeatable. I could feel them massaging and working out my tense muscles. When you arrive they have you complete a quick form asking you where on the body would you like them to focus on. I had them focus on my back/neck area. By the time the massage was done I felt like I was on a cloud! I didn’t want to get up lol. They’re extremely friendly, clean, & professional. 10/10

I found this spa from Groupon and so glad I did! First, the customer service was 5 star from scheduling to making me feel welcomed when I arrived. Second, the atmosphere was calming and the massage was amaaazzzing! Okay my only won’t say complaint but ouch moment was the hot stone which was definitely hot lol it woke me up but other than that the massage was amazing. I was soo relaxed when I left, I was afraid I would fall asleep driving lol. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this spa. Can’t wait until my next massage!

We went for a couple massage. After we were done, i noticed a blood stain on my husbands table sheet. I checked my husband and he didnt have any cut on his face or bloody nose. That shows that they likely didnt change the bedsheet between customers. People can contract diseases this way. I hope management will take this review seriously and make sure the bedsheet is sanitized, and washed between customers. For $341 we expected more.

Have been waiting so long for a massage. This place is amazing. Very clean establishment and great service. I came in with shoulder issues and the therapist’s technique made all the difference. I felt so much relief. I would recommend anyone to give it a try.

I had a return visit for a 4 hand massage this time. I should have gotten to hour vs the half hour. I was truly in heaven during my visit. I need to see about setting up a season pass purchase for massage with them they was so perfect in their service.

The establishment was clean, the therapists wore masks and overalls, very friendly and takes the time to listen and share their expertise knowledge. The massage was excellent and met my expectations.

I went for a massage here using a Groupon that my wife gave me. It was strong, traditional style with lots of pressure. Unusual in that the therapist asked me to leave all of my clothes on, except for my sweater, shoes and belt. For the whole massage she pressed firmly through the layers. If I had known that I would have worn something lighter and more comfortable, i.e. corduroys were not ideal. That is the main reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5. She certainly knew what she was doing, helped get out a lot of knots and soreness from my legs and back although the process was a bit painful. Communications were challenging as she did not speak or understand much English, but still a good experience overall.

When I tell you that Lucy has hands of still I mean it. The perfect place to get your body tuned up and your mind tuned out! I left there floating after the most skillful session in years. Cant wait to return!

This place is the best I have encountered so far in many years. I play a lot of tennis tournaments around the country and need to keep my neck and back muscles in great shape. All the tightness goes away, when I receive the massages here.
