Been to this place a few times, and the first time was the best. (Weekday) The weekends seem to be highly busy.On my most recent encounter here, I paid for the VIP (first entry) experience. Definitely did not receive what I paid for. The balcony area (where I usually sit) was overbooked! The show was over sold but continued to let people squeeze in.The parking can be a but difficult to get close in area so be prepared to walk unless you choose to valet. The drinks are mediocre, and theres a two drink minimum with the ticket sales, so theres that.Ive seen a show that was knee slapping funny and another that I waited through 4 comics before I bust the haha laugh. Many of the reviews mention the wait staff being weird with credit cards and charges. I cant vouch that such is true. BRING CASH!!
Amazing experience! Tickets are not too expensive, lined up like 30min early and got front seats, overall amazing experience and will definitely do again next time Im here. Also shoutout to Craig Robinson amazing performance
Had a blast with my girls at the show. Ron G is by far the best host and keeps the show rolling and the audience laughing out loud. We messed up and waited too long to get tickets and had to buy the first entry ones that cost more only to arrive late and not get first entry ugh, our fault but the show was still funny. We got seated in back which I hated but we made the best of it. We quickly took care of the 2 item minimum order and got drinks & chips and salsa. My drink was okay, I should have chose something else. The best comedies of the night was Bodacious, he has a naturally funny set, it doesn’t feel written he just says funny stuff that comes to mind and is hilarious.I will for sure come back next time I’m in town.
Wonderful place with amazing food and great entertainment! I spent the whole night laughing. Shoutout Gabriel, he was a great server, walked us through the menu and gave great recommendations! Absolutely made the experience worth it.
Like many other reviewers have already pointed out, this place loves to overbook and squeeze out every single dollar out of people for a mediocre experience at best.If you’re not seated on the first floor, good luck you may as well go home. The second floor is the most insane set up for a venue, with probably 10 actual decent seats. Everything else is ruined from the drunk screaming coming from the bar area with a thin curtain to prevent the noise from spilling into the room. Please don’t waste your time here and just go the comedy store.
Worst comedy show experience ever. I went on a Friday, the comedians were not funny. I booked the early entry ticket but came in right before the show, the full first floor was filled up, they made us go up to the second floor and just stand there for 2 hrs and it was mad hot. Waiters were rude, comedians were cringey. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Cool atmosphere! Small place but nice. The comedian line up was pretty good. I would return.
Went for the Netflix is a joke event of Tuesday May 7 for my husbands birthday. We literally had a terrible time.We where told to quite down while we where laughing, our server came up to talk to us and tell us that her manager wanted us to stop talking...which we all very well understood is one of the rules...But manager comes and repeatedly tells us right after server, we explain that the only talking going on is the conversation they currently have us in. We werent in any conversations...we where there like everyone else for the same reason..We felt very targeted...In addition, the seats on the booths are extremely uncomfortable...small enough to be a childrens size booth...They ruined our experience with them..Ive been to so many comedy clubs including different laugh factory locations and they are not at all like this.Im not a review person either but this right hereHell no, they absolutely ruined our evening %1000000.Its unacceptable and Im going to leave this comment to make sure people know how they can expect to be treated here at this LOCATION!
Legendary service. First place in America where the staff actually deserved a tip! The comedy acts were 10/10 too. A must visit!
Really cool venue with a big list of celebrity comedians. We went Sunday to the Chocolate Sundaes show. Got to see a friend go on stage and then a variety of other comedians. Two drink minimum was fine and understood, just wish there was a little more variety for people who dont drink alcohol. Stage was well lit and it was easy to view and enjoy. I do recommend VIP seating as you are guaranteed a chair upfront. Get there a little earlier and you may get a small table. If I was in the area, I would definitely stop in again. At $30, it was worth the visit.
The Laugh Factory appears to be past its prime, as the venue feels quite run down, old, and dusty. The drinks were unfortunately of low quality, and there was a strong emphasis on the two-drink minimum. We also tried the guacamole with chips, which was excessively spicy and came with stale chips. As for the comedy, the host was the funniest person there, while the other comedians struggled to entertain. Overall, I would suggest saving your money and time.
Some of the comedians are pretty funny, others are so-so. What I didnt enjoy is the pricing structure. Forcing people to buy at least 2 drinks doesnt make sense. You end up paying $7 for a soda even if thats all you want. Why not just increase the ticket price and let people decide for themselves if they want a drink or not? Besides that theyre already either paying for valet or having to uber over. It just feels like a scam. People are packed in so tightly that you can barely walk around. I was expecting more of a venue with theater type seating but the seats are super uncomfortable for sitting hours at a time. They also force people to line up outside in the cold before letting them in even when you have the advance seating tickets. The bathrooms are also really cramped and outdated. This is just not what I expected for a famous comedy club in LA.
The comedians are great nothing bad so say about them. My issue is the horrible quality in food and drinks. The dirtiness of the floors and tables. And how they cramp u inside shoulder to shoulder.
Laugh Factory is a well-known comedy club in LA. It was on my bucket list to watch a show here. The club venue has a maximum capacity of 289. It has deluxe, VIP and mezzanine seats. Staff are nice, competent and professional. Ticket prices are relatively fair like $20 and $27 for nonpriority and priority, respectively. Also, a mandatory two drink minimum. Bottled drinks starts at $6. Cocktails is around $14. We enjoyed our night here; lots of fun and laughter. Valet Parking is available. Street parking is difficult. Overall, I recommend this comedy club.
Great show…but I Paid full price for half a seat. A person will slide off the booths upstairs. They are not booths or even possible to sit in
The experience on the house was really good . The Brazilian comedians were AMAZING , but when the guy of valet brought my was it’s was really bad . My car was damaged on the rear window and the owner of the valet said that nothing happened there with my car. If I go back on the Laugh Factory someday I’ll Uber it 👍and strongly recommend everyone to do the same .
2 stars for 2 mandatory!! drinks. Don‘t get me wrong - buying two drinks was not the problem, the way you were reminded was.3/4 of the acts were funny.Would go again.
This is more about the history and ambiance of comedians in the past. I would say that food choices could be a bit more of an option- and not to serve bagged hard round tostitoes with the dip and salsa. But it all depends on what youre looking for. I didnt go here for the food. The process of getting in and seating were as can be expected for first come first serve but very well coordinated.
The comedians were incredible! Super good lineup. But you should show up as early as possible, because once the seating is all taken, many people are forced to stand. The show is a couple hours or so, so it’s not great having to stand for that long. The drinks are pretty expensive and there’s a two drink minimum.
WATCH OUT!!! You will NOT get what you ordered if you ordered premium alcohol. They served us some cheap tequila in place of premium tequila which we had paid extra for! I never experience hangovers but with this cheap tequila, I felt awful the next day!
All of the comedians were great until Craig Robinson(the office) got on stage. He was terrible. He played piano for 45 minutes, and said 3 jokes the entire time. Absolutely awful performance, if I wanted to see him sing, I would’ve gotten concert tickets. It felt like karaoke night. Do not go to laugh factory if he is performing, he will literally play karaoke songs and that’s his performance for 45 minutes. Waste of time, and people began to leave mid performance. What a joke!
This place is so much fun! I love going on Thursdays, Tehran has the funniest show! It’s the best date night spot the hubs and I love it!
Went to the Friday night all stars. Parking. Laugh factory valet parking was $15. We parked across the street at 8000 Sunset Strip who offered parking at $2 per 15 minutes, show was 2 hours long, so we paid $20 total. 8000 Sunset Strip offers 90 fees paid with validation.
Some friends and I decided to hit up the Laugh Factory while in town for a conference. Ordering tickets online went smoothly, and we elected to do will call. Valet was $9, happily paid it and they were moving as quickly as they good. Got there and it was stressful getting in. So many lines going in so many directions and no way to tell where you should be. If you are a regular you may no, but for an out of towner, not possible. Got in, the venue was cool. Two drink minimum thats typical for all clubs. First one was not good, second one was better. Comedians all killed it. Overall good experience but only get 4/5 for the subpar expensive drinks and how confusing and hard it is to get into the venue.
Definitely a fun night, I went solo and had a great time. They require a 2 drink/item minimum and have cocktails, beer, wine, soda and water on the menu & food. I went on a Tuesday and all the comedians were funny in their own way or just unique. Its always an experience. It was a bucket list item to do while visiting LA and definitely worth it.
Visiting our son in LA, he surprised us with tickets - they oversell the capacity, standing room is non-existent, got bounced from overflow room with TV screens = “green room”. Decided to leave because there was no way to see the acts or have a place to even stand to see the acts and rudeness of the staff. How is this fire code compliant? What a joke haha #not laughing
Comedians make the experience. Laugh factory staff are generally good. Seating packed and very close to others. Cocktails are sugary and not good. We have never tried the food. Valet parking is offered but if you are in a hurry to leave after the show I suggest the movie theater garage across the street.
Avoid this comedy club. Came here expecting a fun relaxing evening in a SEAT.We purchased GA tickets in advance, and ended up getting shoved upstairs with 50 other people like sardines. It was hot and I did not pay for a ticket to be standing.I asked about it and the ticket teller said that it’s not their fault and the third party tenant over books the place and they have no control over ticket sales. This place is just out to get your money, not give you a good time. AVOID THEM, go enjoy an actual old Hollywood comedy experience at the Comedy Store.
15 minutes into the show and we just walked out, they had us on the second floor. No table just standing. Couldn’t see a thing just the back of peoples heads and the tip of the laugh factory logo.Literally worst comedy venue ever.If you don’t arrive at least by 6pm don’t even bother going in you will be crammed in an already tiny spaceWhat a waste of $60. Also the 2 item minimum shouldn’t apply to people who are standing, like there is no table or anything to put drinks/snacks on. The craziest thing is that when we left they were still letting people in.Really took away from the experience.
Parking/valet situation was kind of chaotic but that’s expected for LA, the valet guys were really nice. Hilarious show, comedians were all great. There wasn’t seating for everyone with a sold-out show & it was crowded so definitely arrive early. Quesadilla was delicious, food and drinks were a little pricey ($80 for chips and guac, quesadilla, 2 coronas & 2 sodas) but again, that’s LA. Overall a fun show.
We decided on stopping by on a Sunday, after the football game, (Rams VS Cowboys.) We had descent seats! But the 2 drink minimum!? Come on now! If your rule is a 2 drink minimum, & we order MIX drinks, can you guys give us what were paying for?! We ordered a total of 9 drinks (3 people) & it was all mixed with water! We told the waitress, & she stated, I dont make the drinks. Umm yeah, we know that!... So can we make it?! If you guys are serving virgin drinks, charge us non alcoholic prices. The upside, we got to see MC Lyte! Heeeey! (Beat biter, dope style takerTell you to your face you aint nothing but a faker)
We saw Tim Allen last night. The first thing he said was What am I doing in a dump like this? That was off putting, like he was too good for the venue. His act was so dated. We were bored.
I don’t understand why we pay more for VIP tickets to sit in the same seats as everyone else? Comedy is okay, valet is the worst please don’t pay for it they have you walking to the UPS and sitting on the corner for 20-30 months waiting on your car. Food is average at best, they gotta work on the menu tbh it’s just not it. The drinks are cool but between the valet and the attitude of people in the front we’ll be looking for venues.
One of the best nights that we’ve had!! Got there early and bought the vip tickets, definitely worth it cause it can get very full and if you want good seating better arrive early!! They make you buy 2 drinks per person but they don’t have to be alcoholic so thats ok. But the line up and every single comedian was Awesome!! We also had two surprise appearances and laughed so much! Highly recommended! After the show ended we even had the time to mingle with some of the comedians so it was great!!!
Great time per usual.... my drinks were so strong this last time. You know its a good show when you are laughing the whole time. Get home and cant remember, not 1 joke. Chocolate Sundays are the best
They practice BAIT AND SWITCH! If theres a change in the lineup, they only give 48 hrs notice and you cant request a refund less than 24hrs before the show. Ill stick to going to the Comedy Store.
I absolutely love this place!! You get to see top comedians at a great price. There is a 2 drink minimum, but Id be having two drinks regardless. You arent allowed to have your phone out during performances, but the comedians code and go by the restrooms, so if youre lucky, youll catch a few, and they do not mind taking pictures.
Tonights line up was amazing 👏 Dane Cook crushed it!
Im not sure this place is worth it. The comedians were mostly great except a couple of them. The 2 drink minimum sucks but they are upfront about that. The real issue is while they are busy trying to get you to order the drinks...they are very in your face and you cannot pay attention so you miss bits of the act. I placed a random order because I wanted the server out of my face, then she is right back for the 2nd order, really, I would just rather pay more upfront and get to enjoy the show. The worse part though to top it off is while I was figuring out my payment (again while she is interrupting the show), I hit 0 for the tip ( cause lets face it, I just wanted to enjoy the show but couldnt with her in my face), but she has the nerve to question me...Youre not going to leave a tip...so in order to get rid of her I go to tip, but then the amount I pick is not enough... is this lady for real? I choose a higher amount, and finally she goes away, but I have missed several minutes of act.
I went to a charity comedy event at the Laugh Factory. The event was held the day of LA’s big rain storm. The staff got us in quickly out of the rain. The table service was great. The comedy was hilarious and a good time was had by all.
People are rude, no where to sit. Good luck bringing someone disabled to watch a comedy show. We had bought tickets 4 days in advance, no where to stand and were continuously told to move
The Laugh Factory definitely lives up to its reputation for being one of the best comedy clubs in LA. I went here on my birthday with a couple of friends and it was so much fun. We had a great time laughing at the four different comedians and opening act. The food and drink options are great. I highly recommend this place!
We came as a big group of 8. The seats were narrow and super uncomfortable. We were in the back and it was actually very hard to hear and understand anything the comedians were saying. If you ask me - don’t go for these overpriced overhyped LA places. Any big comedian will perform in more than 1 place in LA, this just ain’t it unfortunately.Go for quaint, laid back comedy venue which there are plenty of in LA, and decide for yourself whether you wanna buy 2 drinks or not.
This is a gem of a place! Endless laughs. The comedians are cherry picked and usually give great preformances that are guaranteed to give you an incredible time! The fact that for each show there are 5-6 comedians is an additional advantage because it introduces more variety in style and humour. Parking is not easy around there, but valet is $9. Also you want to get there early because it can fill up quickly and upstairs the view is not great.
Go on a thursday night for surprise guest stars :)My friends and I went on a thursday night and were surprised to see Uncle rodgers and Jimmy yang come on stage. I believe bigger names come on a Thursday night to test out jokes for the main crowd later in the week so its a great time to visit!Tickets are $25-$35 and youre required to order 2 items on the menu. There is an automatic 18% gratuity which is fair since the staff is super attentive + kind. Menu items range from $7-$20 depending on what you get. If you come with a group you can sit in a booth together which gives you a nice view of the stage.Parking is valer for $20 or you can find neighborhood parking thats around a 5min walk. I recommend using spot angels to find parking if you dont want to valet.Overall a great spot to spend a thursday night with friends :)
A very horrible night. The Laugh Factory had my friends and me standing outside for over an hour and we didn’t even get into the show. We had prepaid tickets. They overbooked the show, having hundreds of people standing outside. There was a guest list of the comedians “friends” and they let the people who didn’t even pay get in. My friend was heartbroken. I was personally needing uplifting. I am a special education teacher who had a hard day and needed this event. This was very disappointing, and I doubt I’ll ever come back. #blackhistorymonth #blackhistory #laughfactory
We came here to see a bunch of comedians one being Dane Cook. He did not disappoint! Definitely still has it. It was a great surprise. All the other comedians were excellent as well. The drinks were priced reasonable and the setting was comfortable.
Great show, tons of laughs that night.Slightly annoyed with the 2 drink minimum especially if driving. Dont really need 2 soft drinks or 2 waters ($4) for the entire night. It was communicated on their website and on the tickets so cant say they didnt tell us. However I could not find any pricing before hand so did not appreciate that feeling.Overall good experience but perhaps there can be an option to pay slightly more per ticket in exchange for no drink minimum.
The show was AMAZING and since it’s a smaller venue, all the seats are great! My only complaint was their drink options. The cocktails were fantastic, but I was with a sober friend and other than soda, their only non-alcoholic cocktail option was a margarita that wasn’t that great. They couldn’t make any other cocktail options virgin. Would be awesome for them to have more mocktail options.Otherwise, great first experience here! Can’t believe it took me 3yrs to finally go!
Love Matt Rife, a bit disappointed in the show. Sorry Matt, hope you are feeling better.
Comedy was ON POINT. Drinks are strong. Hosts were okay. We were forced to sit in an area we didnt want to because they had to fill the room a certain way. ugh.
I love the Laugh Factory BUT:It feels like you could get bed bugs here. The menu is so bad, its rude. This place desperately needs an upgrade.
Went to see 1 particular artist who happened to be a no show, which sucked. Theres a 2 drink minimum for everyone who enters for the comedy show. So even after you pay for your ticket youre obligated to also pay for at least 2 drinks. The comedians were great, hosts were decent a bit intrusive trying to make sure everyone got those drinks! But I enjoyed my night, and the show did start on time!
Hilarious!! Had a great time! AWESOME WAY to start a Saturday Nite
The best service and experience I have had in decades.. The Laugh Factory and especially Gabriel 💯💯💯 quality service.. We will be back.
My beautiful daughter treated me to a well lit show. So many comedians and so little time. Ron G was the host... All the comedians were on fire.
Great place. I was celebrating my birthday. It was one of our stops. Comics were very funny. The host was amazing. Definitely a must revisit in the near future. I do want to say parking was a bit of a struggle. They do offer valet from a 3rd party company. Make sure you get first access tickets.
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves, we attended the Netflix is a Joke Comedy All-star show..
Got in on time, drinks were served quickly (2 item minimum), and my party of four for general entry was seated at a booth. Craig Robinson kept the show going until 12:20am. Was a great night, hope to be back again.
The food could’ve been better and the seating is still weird to me. But all in all the staff was nice and welcoming. And the comedians were solid.
Had an absolutely GREAT time at Rubee Tuesdays! Ruben Paul is an amazing host and there was an All Star lineup of comics. I NEVER thought I would see a legend like Arsenio Hall perform on a random Tuesday night!
Drove all the way from Phoenix to see Max he was suppose to be in there line up and he wasn’t there. Very disappointed
This place was disappointing and Id recommend going to the Comedy Store or elsewhere actually. For 35 USD + two drinks minimum + Uber rides it was not worth the cost at all. Guard was extremely rude, waitresses were next to impossible to get attention from, drinks were mediocre and therefore overpriced, no female comics in the line up, and despite the costs the place didnt even offer WiFi so we could order a cab. One star for Bobby Lees set though, and one for the host :)
Always great lineup, the minimum 2 items purchase per person is quite expensive for the quantity/quality of the food/drinks. They have valet for $15. My first time here, we were supposed to start at 9pm, but ended up starting at 11pm. We stood in line for 2+ hours!
Tuesday, November 21st. All acts (other than the headliner) heckled the crowd and had no actual content in their act- relied completely on the crowd’s responses to the heckling. Went to Comedy Store afterwards and they were awesome!
Thank you Matthew. Great management and great shows as always and always friendly dealing with situations. Thank you
A must-visit when youre in town. There are shows with different comedians from the WORLD literally every day
Show started 75 minutes late because of a surprise guest who we were told would also perform for the late show. She did not. Obviously not the fault of the staff but maybe dont get our hopes up if youre not sure. We were in line early since we didnt have priority seating and waited outside over 2 hours almost 3. Hearing over and over again that the show was running 10 minutes late, then 15... 20 and up and up. Our 945 show started after 11. We saw dozens of people leave before the show started and receive free tickets to another night. Would have loved to see the surprise comedian whose name I will not share... but apparently the rest of us who waited outside while her set ran long were not worth her time to stick around for. Buy tickets to the early show! And wear comfy shoes for standing in line.
Shaan Joshi invited me to this. He was producing this event called Shaan Joshi and friends I think. Had a good time. Great lineup. Decent cocktails. Though Im not into cocktails, tried the watermelon something( #1 on the list)Good crowd for a Monday evening. We went to Greenblatts after which is right next door.
Ugh! I really wanted to give 5 stars!! The seats are so cramped together literally if you need to use the restroom the entire row needs to stand up to let you out!! The servers were walking around the entire time blocking our view!! It’s so stuffy and super hot because it’s such a small place and of course to make more money they just cram people in! The alcoholic drinks were mostly water lol no joke! Again it’s to make the most money 💴 Oh and it’s a 2 drink minimum the comics are not great either just so disappointed ☹️
Our show was on 7/7 Saturday 9:30pm for Tiffany Haddish. I knew the $25 general tix line would be hella long so I purchased the $35 Priority Tickets, cause there was no need for the $40 VIP tix, right??? Well that was a damn mistake. Everyone and their cousin KeKe, thought the same too. Smh. Should had paid the extra $5 per ticket for me and GF, even though the VIP line was long but at least they went in first. Then Priority follows and finally General tix. We arrived at 9:05 and still sat wayyy in the back on the 1st floor. I believe some Priority holders even had to go upstairs with General tix. Which has a really bad viewing of the stage fyi. So get there early especially on celebrity performances and upgrade to VIP tix. Whereas on regular nights get the $25 general tix and youll be fine. Ohh, Tiffany performance was really just talking, we couldnt tell if she had anything memorized like a rehearsed skit? It felt very honest but compelling with an comedic timing, as if she was your funny cousin KeKe at the family reunion.
Cozy intimate spot..able to sit 2nd floor directly front stage so we didnt miss a beat. Our waiter (Gabriel) continuously stopped by to check on us & gave great service. I do wish their menu offered a bit more variety yet overall a good time!
They offer free tickets with registration and a 2 drink minimum. they have a very limited food menu! Great comedy shows twice a night with a 2 level seating. Valet parking $20 plus tip! Not too bad!
Legendary spot. Great acts. Can’t go wrong with any show. Will be back
It’s not exactly pleasant being told you HAVE to get a 2 item minimum from here…so if you don’t drink alcohol you’re forced to get water and they charge you $9.25 per bottle. I was charged $19 after taxes just for two bottles of water that they forced you to get for their “2 item minimum”. I won’t come here again because of that.
The seating is better than the Comedy Store. So is the service, and the comedians are funnier. They have valet parking. Do it. Treat yourself. Driving around LA for a space isnt worth the trouble.Paul Rodriguez is a really nice guy. He wanted to thank everyone individually for coming and take selfies with everyone. But, they had to chase everyone out so the audience for the next show could be let in.
Great place to get sum LAUGHS! Tehran was hilarious!!
Had a great night here on my trip to LA. Comedians were funny, and there were alot of great seats. We got early entry and so did EVERYONE else haha. So make sure you go early even if you have early entry.
Attended a 8PM Tuesday show not knowing what to expect as it was my first time ever at a comedy show. I couldn’t have had a better experience!!I did find the two drink minimum odd and inconvenient. Other than that, i can tell this venue has great shows all week. Tuesday night was packed!
Once we were inside, the service was great and the intimate vibe was nice; however, the website said to arrive an hour early for a sold out show, but it didnt say that the doors dont open until 30 minutes before ticket time. Consequently, we had to wait outside for 30 minutes in 42 degree windy weather. I wish management had the decency to take weather conditions into consideration before leaving patrons outside in adverse weather conditions.
We had a very good time here. We laughed, ate and took pictures afterwards with the comedians. They were really funny and the food here was good also. The only bad thing I can say is it was kind if small. Other than that I would definitely advise you to stop by and check it out
Love coming here! Always get a great laugh and leave feeling great. Amazing comedic veterans that still perform here.Always new material when I go. Go onto their website and pick which day you want to go and who you want to see. Expect a 2 drink minimum. If you sit on the balcony its a great view because no one is in front of you but its harder for the comedians to engage the audience up there (if they choose to) due to the lighting. They cant really see you.You can purchase preferred seating and get in before others to sit in the front at the tables on the bottom floor right in front of the stage. Somewhat small space so theres limited seating. Get your tickets online ahead of time. Enjoy!!!
Rainna took great care of us. Great service all night.
We attempted to attend a show at 9:30pm, we showed up at 8 thinking we would get a table and order drinks and appetizers. We stayed in line from 8-10 waiting for a seat, we FINALLY got in and there was only standing room. Once we realized there was no where to sit we left and asked for a refund. No refund was provided. We wasted an entire night of our vacation. The manager was extremely rude and completely disappointed in the whole situation. This place is a complete SCAM.
Really good lineup of folks. Comedy was great.Reducing 1 star for the dodgy behavior by the venue to charge for a 2 drink minimum and not just charge that as a cover while buying the ticket.
I’ve been 3 times . And Everytime that I’ve been the acts have been great. They always have at least one person that I know. Great environment.. Drink are very basic but they get the job done
Great show, the food and drinks are reallllly bad though. 👎 👎I ordered a couple non alcoholic margaritas and got lime Gatorade 🤣🤣🤣The guacamole was store bought and tasted like cardboard. And the salsa and chips were also a nooooo for me as well.
Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff, Craig Robinson is the man! 🤘
Enjoyed our night at the club. Staff was friendly and efficient. Comedians were funny and keep the pace throughout the night. We were visiting from Orlando with our 2 sons, one who is 20 so we were thankful that they allowed him in. Really!, in this day and age some comedy clubs feel that their humor is too mature for a 20 year old… Thank you Laugh Factory.
First time and last time. Too expensive 70$ for two people and thats not including a two drink minimum per person. I got 2 coronas for 20$ plus my wifes two mandatory Crystal gyser waters little bottles for 14$. some comedians not funny, horrible atmosphere. I was squished the whole time. Stay home and watch a stand up on Netflix. Trust.
Lot of acts. Id recommend
Got us in quick. Tickets were fair priced. Seating was good. Comics were funny. The menu could have a few more things on it but great experience
Wow, wow, wow. Funny as hell lineup.Cons. They make you wait in line even if you pay the higher fee. Not a fan of waiting in line. Prefer reserve seating. Other than that its worth the 60+ dollars
I recently visited the laugh factory for the “Party Down” promotional event and it was honestly one of the best experiences that I’ve had going out in LA. It was a special moment where you got to see all of these comedians from the TV and standup world having a good time and interacting with each other in a very intimate venue, and I really felt like I was a part of a broader world of comedy then. It is so cool that laugh factory would host something like that. The comedians were A1 and the food and drinks were a great touch as well
The Laugh Factory has a cozy atmosphere and the staff are very polite. I had a really great time during my visit, and I encourage anyone to visit this place. However, there are some things that I did not like. For instance, very few people wear masks and the staff do not check vaccination status. This might have been fine if everyones party was a few feet apart, but everyone is pretty much huddled together during the entire time. Another thing that I disliked was the two drink minimum because I dont usually drink alcoholic beverages or soda, and I know why they have the two drinks minimum rule. The last thing that I was particularly disappointed with was the lack of free/low-cost parking. The valet is $15, which isnt super expensive, but it definitely becomes another expense for the evening. The cost of the visit will easily reach three figures between the tickets, the two drink minimum, and the parking. Fortunately, I found a spot on a street in a local neighborhood. No, I wont tell you where it is.Overall, I had a good time. I highly recommend that people get vaccinated before their visit, though.
It was hilarious and they have surprise guests all the time
Sometimes you get a good show and other times you dont. Sometimes its a mixed bag but you Will end up laughing at something. You need to consume atleast 2 drinks at the place. Taking photos and videos of the comedian Is prohibited
Venue underwhelming if you get in. Twice waited in line for 3 hrs w tickets and was told to go home oversold. Wouldnt go back ever.
Been coming here for years. Before I’d park at the abandoned car wash across the street but now best to go earlier to find parking in the neighborhood or valet. Parking will be a mission.
Christmas show was amazing. My cousin and I attended because were here in sober living and our families are in Oklahoma. I wanted to thank the crew for taking the time out to help the public as well as clown one a few of them in the process!
Maria!! You were so kind and helpful with us today! We had the best time tonight! The comedians were hysterical, great crowd, great prices on drinks and just an overall amazing experience that we finally got to enjoy! Very thankful for you making our trip out to LA very special!
Pretty clean not a bad spot. I genuinely had a good time I like that the place is cozy and everyone is more together in that space. It provides for a more interactive audience with the comedian so that made things even funnier. Youre not allowed to record in there which I think is absolutely fine 👌
Had an amazing time at Chocolate Sundays! Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because I couldnt pay with cash. Our poor waitress had to take everyones credit card and try to remember who was who. It made me nervous because many credit cards look the same and I didnt want her to accidentally give mine away. Overall, the comedians were great, tho.
Very fun time! But be prepared to pay more for your drinks than you did your tickets. Bottle of water is $7 and you HAVE to purchase 2 drinks. We were also stuck in the back and chairs were uncomfortably close to each other. Very hard to hear in the back.
Overcharged me for drinks by almost double. Be careful. They will take your card to keep you in your seat and wont deliver the bill until its almost time to go. This is called priority admission.Priority admission can have you sitting in the back of the room. There doesnt seem to be any priority seating. General admission would probably be fine. Best to get there very early and wait outside in line for a half hour to get a good seat.Comics were pretty good but probably not worth the price of admission; intimate setting even though there were a lot of people; bathrooms were clean; servers were friendly; drinks were decent and stiff; but its tough when you get overcharged.Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. So be careful.
Great staff, great show. Drinks are a little on the pricey side. Definitely valet your car, only $15. Decently small venue, but you can definitely see the stage anywhere.
They should be more upfront with their prices. Expect to pay ~$70 per person for the ticket, two drinks and a shared appetizer. Comedy was okay but not work $350 for a group of 5.
Great and popular comedy spot. Typically they feature some amazing and hilarious headliners. Other times they feature Dane Cook, but that’s where the two drink minimum becomes handy.
The owner jamie doesnt care for the guest that come to his club...as he hasnt fixed his Air Conditioning for the last couple months. Its miserable watching the shows cuz you cant concentrate on the performer cuz its so hot.Furthermore, he doesnt pay his employees enough to live nor do they have medical or dental plans. He has millions, and doesnt care for his staff or the community. Stay away.
Went to see Max Amini. He was fantastic as usual. So talented. He starts with a conversation with a few in the audience and goes from there and builds as he moves forward. This guy is brilliant. I highly recommend you go see one of his shows
Went for Chocolate Sundays with my boyfriend and had a great time! The comedians were good, no one that I recognized, but I did spot King Bach in the back of the room so I had to get a picture with him. My only complaints are that the drinks where so small for $17. I knew they would be expensive but one of my drinks was maybe 3 shots worth of liquid. Also the stage was so small and really run down. I guess I expected more since Laugh Factory is such a famous place. But we did have a great time and laughed a lot. Then went and got tacos after.
Came in on a Thursday night. Jeff garcia and Paul Rodriguez were promoting a spanglish comedy night, which was pretty cool. Our server wasnt the greatest, but everything else was pretty great. Definitely will be coming back. Theres public parking across the street in the shopping mall area.
Had a miserable experience with the laugh factory Long Beach. They do not sell tickets at the door and tried for over an hour both my wife and myself on two different cell phones to buy tickets on their website and i was unsuccessful. We both run businesses we’re not idiots we know how to operate a website. Cost us nine dollars to park. Walk down the street in the rain to not be able to get in. The doorman was no help. Did not allow my wife use of their restroom while I waited outside trying to buy tickets.Totally unfriendly website and unfriendly environment won’t be back. Visit them on your own peril.
Snagged some last minute tickets to catch a show on a random Tuesday night and had a great time for the price of admission. People lined up really early for general admission but it was a bit chaotic and people kept cutting the line. They opened the doors like 15 minutes later than the ticket said it would, and as soon as we got in they tried to up sell us to a premium seats. We declined, and ended up getting seated right in the middle in the second row, so glad we didn’t splurge for the better tickets. Show was great with a good variety of comedians, drinks were pretty good although really overpriced and two drink minimum.
I loved it they even clowned me
One of the best nights ever at Laugh Factory saw Dane cook discovered amazing new(to me) Orny Adams, hilarious. Never had a bad experience!!! Always come back.
Caliente Mondays did not disappoint! The host Marquez Acuna along with the other great comedians did a fantastic job! Couldnt stop laughing throughout the whole show. Waitress was nice and friendly as well. Drinks were on point not watered down at all either. Definately recommened checking out at least once.
We arrived 2 minutes late (you are right that was our fault) but even though our name on the free guest list they made us pay 50$ (plus the 2 drink minimum per person) to join our friends inside. A BAD experience! We wont go back to this venue...The place is cool though, great crowd, great comedians.
I love the show love Tiffany it was worth $25 is worth buying the extra two items, only comment would be that the waitresses hammer and me to get the two items cause me to miss a few of the jokes.
We went on a Sunday night, the host was very funny however some of the other comedians weren’t that good. Once we sat down we were forced to buy 2 drinks each minimum. There is also no public parking and you will have to pay $15 cash for valet.
Loved the show however the seats are so close together you are touching each other small tables and very limited food selection. Comedians outstanding
The performances were fun to watch. Customer service was awesome. Every seat in the house felt very close to the stage and it gave the sense of closeness to the comedians. If youre visiting LA and you love stand up comedy, you should definitely check it out. Friday is an awesome night to be there to kick start the weekend with a laugh.PS: Be prepared to get two drinks minimum and theres no video taping or cameras during the show but you can sneak a pic or two 😉
The equivalent to being in the manger where Jesus was born if youre a Christian ... I felt among royalty past and present
Good time. The only downfall was we purchased GA tickets (which still was seated before the VIP section. which was a plus) but there was a beam/pillar slightly in the way the whole show...thus, id suggest arriving before the doors open.
It was ok. Comedians were funny. I do recommend management changes their payment procedures. The waitress should never walk away with my credit card. When you say theres a 2 drink minimum it almost has a reverse psychology. I probably would have ordered 3 drinks had I not been told I was gonna order 2 drinks or else.... Thats rude. Just raise your price of your drinks if you need to make a certain amount of money. Find your cost of doing business and charge accordingly.
The comedy is amazing but the waitresses are awful. The service is not the issue, the wait staff talks very loudly among themselves in the back. You can hear them constantly through out the show. It was my second time going and both times it was the same issue. Even after politely asking if they could be quieter I was ignored.
I have been there already 3 times and it never disappoints! Great selection of comedians and very nice place
It wasnt long enough...lol!! But it was a nice outing. The comedians and host were hilarious. Intimate setting and the drinks were nice and strong, I couldnt tell you about the food, because we didnt order any food. By the way, like most comedy club, its a 2 drink minimum.
Hi. The show was entertaining and the comedians were funny. The service couldve been a little better. Doors opened at 9:30pm, show started at about 10pm. We didnt get service from the cocktail waitress until about 11:30 pm. Other than that. Good show.
Helen hung was absolutely great as was all the rest of the comedians. Also big up to the comedy club crew. Cheers!
Had a great time comedians were great! Final act was Dane Cook he was awesome! The place itself is too small and very hot need raise up air conditioning and seats were really close together we were packed in like sardines.
Lovely place. Awesome atmosphere. Outstanding comics. We really enjoyed the evening. However service is annoying, you have to buy two drinks, and everyone had to do it. So basically all the time waiters running in the crowd with drinks. Which heavily distracts from show. The most stupid rule is that during the last 10 minutes, when the show is on peak - waiters are charging you and everyone around you. Which, again, heavily distracts and spoils the atmosphere :-/
