What a wonderful experience. Very nice technicians, soothing atmosphere, attention to detail. Taylor was amazing. I felt great after my deep tissue massage. Monique made my hands look and feel great. I hope my kids remember how much I enjoyed this experience and give me another gift card next fathers day!

Kristin is my go-to deep tissue massage therapist. I’ve used her for about 2 years now and will keep coming back. She’s prompt, thorough, and kind.Briana did my facial today. She was amazing! She tailored my treatments to what my face needed and gave me great suggestions for skincare in between visits.

Me, my sister, & my mom had a girls spa day at Escape Day Spa and we had an amazing experience. Rachel C., Evelyn, & Taylor S. gave a relaxing and overall wonderful experience. Escape Day Spa is a great place to visit when you are looking a day full of relaxation. The environment is calm & peaceful making it so easy to relax.

I was very nervous coming to my appointments today just because I didn’t know what to expect and had never been to a spa. From the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed. I was greeted and taken back in a room within 5 Minutes, I didn’t have to wait at all!! The atmosphere is the most beautiful and relaxing experience. Sound machiene, candles, dim lights, relaxing music. I was offered water often. Matt did my massage and it was PHENOMENAL. I only booked for 30 min, after today I will be booking an hour long massage every month 🤣 Nyree did my brightening facial and dermaplain and she is amazing! She gave the perfect tips and skincare recommendations. She informed me often on what she was doing or applying and she made sure I was comfortable. Will 100% be back!

I have gotten a few massages done at Escape Day Spa, and have had nothing but great experiences. The atmosphere is calm, inviting, and clean.When I initially called to set up an appointment, the receptionist was friendly and asked me about my preferences when deciding which massage therapist to put me with. I didnt have any preferences, and I just got lucky and ended up with Blake. He is very professional, and I was surprised at how quickly I felt comfortable around him. Hes just one of those people with good energy.The receptionists have always been kind and accommodating.

My boyfriend took us to go get a couples massage for my up coming birthday. I really cant say enough about how incredible the experience was - for both of us! We really felt like each of our massage therapists understood our bodies and their needs. My massage therapist even checked in with me to make sure the pressure of her hands was to my liking and I genuinely appreciated that. All through the service I felt like her hands had eyes and she could see and feel what was going on under my skin. My boyfriend kept saying how his back and legs have never felt better all the way home. It was such a lovely and amazing experience all around. We vowed to treat each other to a couples massage for each of our birthdays from here on out!Thank you to Lianna and Ellie (I hope I am spelling their names correctly and remembering their names right) as well as the whole Escape Day Spa team! Rachel provided the best massage of my life. Then my lady and I had hour-long facials that were amazing. They used a table full of products on my face. I don’t remember half of it, because I was in a sleep-trance.

I booked a full spa day consisting of a 90 minute massage a scalp massage a 60 minute facial and a spa pedicure. My appointment time was 1130, I showed up at 11:35 at the latest. There was only one receptionist so it took me about 10 minutes to check in And it wasn’t even by the receptionist it was by my masseuse. We got into the room. I told him what I was looking forward during my massage and we started my massage at around 1150 I was out of the room at 1:17 PM. I went up to the receptionist and asked them if he thought we were on a 60 minute massage with a 30 minute scalp massage. She agreed to take my 90 minute massage down to a 60 minute massage. I thought that this would be the end of any complication at the spa, however, was the beginning. As I walked into my facial, the receptionist precedes to barge into the door as I am getting ready to change into my row and tells me that I was late he was ready for me at 11:30 and she would not be taking it down to a 60 minute massage anymore. Alexa was fantastic with the facial. I very much enjoyed getting to know her and the expertise that she has in her profession. Eke was absolutely amazing during the small pedicure, I will definitely be back for her. As I went to go check out I was told that all of my services totaled up to $290. I told them to add a 20% tip to each person And she told me it would be $79. I’m not good at math but I do know that 20% of 290 is not $78, I also had $15 left over on a gift card but I was going to use for this, so my card should have only been charged a total of $36 after my entire service. After I left, I started thinking about the payment. So I called back, and the receptionist told me that she was looking at the wrong line and that’s how much it truly is going to cost me, all of the services were great minus the fact that the massage was rushed so that he could get to his next appointment, and the receptionist absolutely know how to kill High coming off of a spa day. It’s really unfortunate when you spend this kind of money at a spa and it doesn’t seem like the face of the establishment knows what’s going on half of the time.

First time ever at spa I got the relaxation massage with Matt and acne facial with Nyree. It was amazing and everyone was so nice and patient with me not knowing what to do and expect. I will return one day and bring a friend. Nyree even gave me some facial tips to keep acne off my face.

Everyone was so kind and the services were top notch. I really enjoyed my first ever facial and steam pedicure. I look and feel great. Thanks!

Ive been to this Spa 3 times in total, my first experience was nice even though I wasn’t expecting an older guy, my second experience I did not like, a younger man that used more of his hands than the hot rocks, and the last time was with a woman that I thought was a man, because of the name. My appointment was at 4:15, and I had to ask how long would it be, because I had dinner reservations. The lady was nice and did more than the guys ever did, however I was rushed out leaving my boyfriend inside and I had to call him. It was my birthday I expected nothing but excellent service, because I drive from MS to Birmingham. I’ll be exploring other options, because paying $160-$200 and not getting 5 star treatment is crazy. Oh and my time was 1hr and 45 mins. I received 1 hr and 30 mins, started at 4:30pm and ended at 6pm. I was early for my reservation because of this. I have this thing about my birthday being perfect, but its fine Im sure its plenty spas that delivers excellent services every time.

Visiting for the weekend to relax and rejuvenate; wife booked the appointment and these folx did not disappoint. Immediately felt at ease by soft greeting as I entered. Then led down a hallway with warm tone wood floors, calming blue walls into a waiting area complete with a massage chair. The room was very cozy and hygge style with southern flair! Comfy couch, rattan love seat, a hobo chic repurposed side board and a beautiful wood coffee table all adorned this room and completed it. They offered both cucumber water and a fresh organic assortment of hot teas and accoutrements from Walden Farmacy. I had their Coconut Cardamom Oolong tea and it was heavenly. I am not a big tea drinker but this may change my perspective, and its all in the waiting room...before the magic!Im sitting in the chair, sipping tea when suddenly Rachel appears. She invites me back to the room and takes great care of my neck and shoulders with a deep tissue massage. She is amazing! Im a big person and I was worried but she put me at ease and I drifted in and out of complete awareness as my normally tense and overworked muscles finally relaxed. Before I knew it, it was over and I walked back to my car like a baby giraffe that hasnt figured out its balance yet.Tl;DR I cannot recommend this place more. Sanitary, safe, stellar customer service!

Jessica was great to work with in scheduling our wedding party appointments. The experience was relaxing and enjoyable. The therapists listened to our requests, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the area was so cute with little shops to walk to and look through either before or after our appointments.

One of the most relaxing and professional spas Ive been too. The atmosphere is so soothing. Perfect place for self care. I enjoyed my facial. Sarah did a good job. She is calming, pleasant, and easy to talk to. Jessica at the front desk has great customer service. There is an African American young lady at the front desk also,dont know her name but she has great customer service too. She was there around 3 pm on a weekday if that helps. Glad I found this place.

Disclaimer: Ive only ever gotten massages here so I cant attest to their other treatments. However, I have been going here over a year, had many different therapists and the massages are always EXCELLENT. I recommend this place over a more expensive, hotel spa in town ten times over. The therapists always seem to truly care about my comfort and it is always clean. Love love love Escape Day Spa!Summer 2024 update - Still love and frequently visit :)

What can I say ,or where should I start ?Ive been coming to Escape Day Spa ,a beautiful quint spa in the heart of Homewood off Oxmoor road .Im even more surprised I have yet to leave a review as Im the self proclaimed Yelp queen and Ive had several services at this establishment .I make it my duty to attend every Open House and take advantage of the amazing Black Friday package deals.Ive had facials and massages and I can say without a shadow of a doubt the massage is where to go , in particular with the masseuse Ms . NITA . I can barely configure the words to type at how blissfully blessed she is and through her hands I can tell she loves what she does ! Although a small woman ,she has mighty healing hands . Every single session Im left in complete relaxation , bliss and feeling lighter than ever . She starts the service by inquiring of any allergies and or points of body that need extra attention ,followed by inhaling an aromatic essential oil. She focuses on each quadrant with enough time to really get all the kinks and knots out . You think the hands are amazing then she uses hot towels and stones to each tension .I could legitimately write a body ,hypothesis and statement and how amazing she is at what she does but this should suffice!What a blessing to have such an amazing masseuse in town !I love her and the amazing sisters that are owners of this establishment and the lash studio next door!Tell them KaShayla sent you!

I got my parents a couples massage for their birthdays and they loved it. They came out looking and feeling like new people. They praised the professional atmosphere and attention to detail the massage therapist took towards them. Will definitely be back in the future.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! In desperate need of a massage this week, I was referred to Escape Day Spa and told they were the absolute best in the business. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. From the moment I called to inquire about an appointment, I was met with a very helpful and caring lady who went above and beyond to find an opening for me. While it took a moment to find an appointment to accommodate my last minute schedule, I was never once put on hold or made to feel like I was waiting. She was very cordial, informative and kind as she confirmed an appointment time for me. Not many places these days that will go out of their way like she did. But this was just the first of many “wow” factors Escape Day Spa had in store. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff taking all the proper protocols for safety without feeling intrusive. Check-in was a breeze and within minutes I was greeted by my therapist and led to my treatment room. The therapist was very sweet and thorough, asking me in detail what areas needed focus and my preferences for pressure, etc. I could tell that I was dealing with a true professional who had a great understanding of massage therapy. The room was extremely comfortable, quiet and relaxing. I could go on and on and on about the level of service I received, but I can put it into one statement…the best massage that I have ever had. Period. And to think that all this was arranged last minute to fit my schedule. Not once did I feel rushed. My massage was incredible. The staff was professional, kind and caring. The atmosphere was amazing. Parking and location were super easy to find and access. And as a bonus…I was personally thanked by one of the owners as I was checking out. It is amazing to know that some business owners still care these days, and refreshing that she would take the time to personally ask about my experience. My wife booked a deep tissue couples massage with Escape. This was my first ever massage, although my wife has had many massages in the past. Justin and Samer were phenomenal. They put us at ease from the moment we entered the spa, asked us about problem areas, always paid attention to our massage pressure concerns, and had great recommendations for home care after we were done. Oh this place is truly magical. They are so pleasant and knowledgeable. They will discuss every detail of your service and provide good tips for at home care. I enjoyed my massage with Taylor and my derma planing with Rachel. Both are great and so sweet.

I spent 1/2 day for several services. Good atmosphere from the beginning. Providers took my lead in terms of conversation, so that was nice. I was a little disappointed that an add-on sevice I wanted was not provided, but no major deal. I recommend it!

It was my first time at Escape Day Spa and it was definitely a great experience. I was greeted immediately as I walked in the door, checked in quickly and escorted to the waiting area. I was taken at my appointed time. I had the steam pedicure and I highly recommend it. The pedicurist was very nice and attentive and did an excellent job! I will definitely go back again!

I went with my daughter for a relaxing pedicure together. It was anything BUT relaxing! From the time we sat down her nail tech complained that her polish was too hard to remove, made faces and sighed the entire time! She was very rough and she now has an infection in her big toe. My tech was better but rushed and my nail polish lasted 6 days before it began to chip and turn yellow. I live out of town, showed my nail tech at home and she said it was not quality nail polish. They (Escape) loved it simply because it was fast-drying! We gave a nice tip despite the service but I will never return and my daughter will need to see a dr for her infected nail!! Very unprofessional behavior as well. We heard them telling a lady that they couldn’t do her manicure bc she failed to tell them she had gel and it would take too long. She had told them she had gel , she was going out of town but had to go with chipped nails.They cancelled her appt. She was very upset and they simply said “sorry”.

I’ve been here a few times and had relatively good experiences. We went yesterday for NYE and I can honestly say I’ve never had a better massage than what I experienced with Laurie. Completely professional, communication was top notch in making sure I was taken care of. Can’t wait to book her again ASAP!

I have enjoyed this spa for my own needs such as prenatal massage and had a great experience in the clinic. The best experience for me, however, was today after an unfortunate cancellation circumstance for a sick family member whom I purchased a gift spa package for. I received really incredible customer service and thoughtfulness in navigating this issue. Having previously worked in a similar industry, I know that cancellations can cause real profit loss, but the manager was generous in listening to the unique circumstances and put the needs of the client (a family member of mine) first and for that I give them five stars.

If you need to grow 2 inches or have your body completely rejuvenated, you need to get a massage from Nita. Cannot wait to see her again for my next appointment.

From the moment I walked in the door I eagerly anticipated a perfect pedicure experience. Was I ever wrong! While staff throughout the spa all was dressed very professionally in black uniforms, the esthetician who came for me, waiting in a very relaxing room, was dressed like she was ready to run errands or take her kids to a park. She had a mask under her chin and occasionally pulled it over her mouth but never properly wore it over her mouth and nose. She did not ask if I wanted my nails shorter and when I told her I did, she only cut 2 of them. One, that had chipped was left just like that! Another staff member ate chocolate in front of a client. And the apparent boyfriend of one of the staff was allowed in the room and reclined in a chair while she continued to work. The experience was pleasant but not the quality I expected. Very disappointed and will not return.

I have been going here regularly for about 2 years and had an issue which caused me to go somewhere else and the owner reached out to me and rectified my issue. I was highly impressed by this since she found out about it on Facebook And I will definitely be coming back. I was very impressed with the level of customer service from the owner. Also their services are wonderful. I highly recommend Jackie for facials. Ive had very good experiences with massages and spray tans And a few other services.

Receptionist greets you warmly upon arrival, technicians and therapists are neatly dressed, well-mannered and nicely put together. They are all so friendly. Lets not forget the actual services rendered. Take a look at the website. My sea salt scrub, massage and facial were amazing. The waiting room is relaxing and sets the mood for the services about to be received. The name is fitting. This place really IS an escape. If you cant afford to go on vacation on the beach or somewhere exotic, just drive down to homewood, alabama, and check out this place. I almost didnt want to share this beautiful secret, but it is too good to withhold. Keep up the good work Escape Day Spa and staff! I will definitely keep coming back. Had a great massage, and I also want to give credit to Monique for my beautiful manicure! I dont know why I thought it was a good idea to get my nails done right before packing and moving, but this manicure has withstood the entire moving/packing/unpacking/furniture assembly process and still look pretty great. Not even gel, just nail polish. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I purchased the Twilight Package and it was an incredible experience. The staff was welcoming and very professional. Brad was my massage therapist and he was amazing! We will definitely be back!

0 the visit was not what i expected. My girlfriend informed me of the lack of proper cleaning. Telling me of the skin dust she had to hold her hands out of. YOU USED the same tools on her hands as her feet. Before the sealing process there was still dirt under the nail that she pointed out that was ignored. The tools for scrubbing feet did not look new or cleaned in between customers. A lady in the same room had her feet scrubbed and then dusted in the room causing it to fly up amongst the entire room. The leg foot massage was lackluster and rushed. Ultimately this is advertised as a spa and a spa experience and felt like nail salon. I will not be returning or recommending this establishment at all

For my girlfriends birthday I decided to take her here for a 30 minute couples massage. With this being our first time getting massages, we didnt know what to expect. From the moment we walked in the front door to the time we left we were completely soothed and immersed in tranquility! The environment was amazing and the massages were extremely professional! Got a couples massage here and it was absolutely amazing. You walk in to a relaxing atmosphere and while youre waiting they provide drinks, and take lots of precaution to make sure you feel comfortable. The massage itself was so wonderful, I had Nicole and she was absolutely amazing and very kind.

Today I get up its my birthday excited to get this couple massage my husband planned in advance. I told him I had been here before it was nice but of course I was with my white co worker at the time. Today was the worst customer service experience ever the look on theyre face was as if we didnt belong. I called in to cancel she said the fee was 50 % so I was like we just will go on with the spa day..I have you know the manager called the owner to see can they waive my cancellation fee. With not a care why this place will never be recommended you will reap what you sow trash at the front replacement is definitely needed. The owner have not called and may not Im so mad because people allow this behavior. I have been in management for over 15years and today level of non customer service and hatewas unacceptable. They totally didnt want our business. The mask wasnt the problem once again It was the rude receptionist no need to call you really wont miss my money . I had the mask in hand reading the signs everywhere to see what was the requirement.It was a totally racial experience. You cant apologize for ignorance. Train your staff.

This was my first time visiting a spa. I had 3 services and each one of them was amazing! Super friendly staff, and a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. I had Taylor, Monique, and Shavon. The massage was absolutely incredible! highly recommend.

I have an upcoming appointment at Escape Day Spa and had a negative experience communicating with the employee answering the phones. I called about changing out the service booked for a different service or adding on a service and the person who answered the phone stated she wont have time for that and hung up. I would hope for more explanation and a more patient, understanding tone from someone who works directly with customers who are seeking a relaxing experience. I cannot fully judge the spa as I have not had my first appointment; however, a strong first impression was made.

I received a gift certificate for a pedicure from Escape. Absolutely dont recommend. Selection of color is small. One type of off brand nail color. There was no cuticle oil used, cuticles not pushed back, the instruments were not from an autoclaved pack, all the clean nail files were were sitting beside the water- would be very easy to be splashed by every person who sits there getting a pedicure, no liner in the tub part of the chair. Not only was I wondering if I will end up with a fungus, but the pedicure itself was poorly done. Jagged great toe nail, poorly cleaned edges- looked like they had been smeared. And to top it off Monique gave out attitude if I asked normal questions about where things were or if they had a certain brand polish. Not acceptable in my book. I have never had a pedicure here so me asking simple questions shouldnt illicit a smart attitude. Save your money and go where they do pedicures all the time and where they do them well. *pictures on my Yelp review.

I went to Escape Day Spa this weekend with 4 friends for a girls day. The experience was excellent. I had a facial with Erin and it was wonderful! Best facial Ive ever had, and more affordable than any others Ive had. My friends all had equally excellent experiences. I will definitely be going back again soon!

Front desk was super nice and communicated with me and asked if I needed anything! My facial and massage was amazing to where I felt like I’ve been sleeping for years and felt so relaxed. I will definitely be going again it was outstanding!

I am reading the reviews trying to decide which massage studio to take my 19yr old daughter to for xmas. I stumbled across the review from Yalonda Burden & WOW! The response from the owner told me everything I needed to know.In the owners reply, they completely disregarded how their employees made this lady Feel like she didnt belong. Whether it was racial, the mask (or lack of), or whatever, the Owner spoke only about the mask & cancelation but didnt comment once on the employees negative energy towards this lady, which leads me to believe this behavior is acceptable & shared.People should feel welcomed when coming to an establishment such as this. Especially when they consider themselves a Healing Place. Well be going over to the retreat day spa.

They give the best mani/pedis here! Shavon did a great job. I like to get a great “workout” when my feet/legs are getting the message & exfoliation. Also cuticles are pushed back enough where they don’t grow back so quick. My nails are shaped just like I want. They give quality service where the mani/pedi lasts a good while.

Taylor, was GREAT! She took her time and focused on every part we discussed as well as easing tension and stress in parts I did not know. I highly recommend Taylor she’s amazing! Look forward to seeing her again!!

My Fiance and I had a couples massage for 30 minutes. We definitely enjoyed our massages. Unfortunately, I cannot remembered the masseuses names, but they were attentive, professional and poised. The atmosphere was relaxing. There was minimal décor in the massage area, but the waiting area was nice. I would definitely recommend this spa.

If you come for a massage ask for Samer! He is fantastic!!! He could tell what my issues were just by feeling my body. He is very professional and will make sure any problem areas are addressed. They also sell Young living oils that smell amazing.

I had one of the best deep tissue massages ever with Matt! I love the new space. It is very peaceful. Convenient location and easy parking. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be back and hope my friends will try it out soon!

Came here with some girls for a spoil/spa day. Unfortunately, the entire experience wasnt all it should have been. We were finally all called back individually about 20 minutes late. I was taken straight to the massage room and told to undress in there. (Normally, you are shown the bathrooms with lockers to leave your things in and a quick tour of the available amenities.) After the massage I was told to change back into my clothes. I asked about taking a shower and was escorted to the one shower. I had no idea where the bathroom was but there was no bathroom in the one shower room. There were a couple mismatched robes in there but no sandals. Overall, this was not a luxury experience as it should have been. We felt like the entire staff was eager to get us in and out.

I have had 2 deep tissue massages at Escape. The first time left a lot to be desired, but last night I had a 90 minute session with Elizabeth and it was fantastic!!!! It was well worth the money. I have a very stressful job and my neck, shoulders and upper back are constantly tense and this is the first person that actually worked out all my kinks! I thought I was going to be on muscle relaxers and be in pain the rest of my life but Lizzie fixed that! I will be back to see her!!

What a wonderful relaxing experience. I was gifted this massage by my aunt. I am from out of town andy son is in the hospital for over 3 weeks. It has been very stressful but this experience gave me an hour that I could relax and reset. My massage therapist was very professional and it was the best massage I have ever had. I left feeling calm and taken care of. She even gave me a free sample of thenpil that she uaed on me to help me stay relaxed in the hospital room. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone.

Today is my wifes birthday and when some of our earlier plans fell through they were able to move her appointment time the day of without any complaining or attitude. It was a seamless adjustment upon request. When I dropped her off I walked in to make sure everything was on the up-and-up, and to scope the place out. And WOW! The facilities are prestigiously top-tier. Inside, the atmosphere finds that rare balance of friendly, yet calming and tranquil. So far, its the best location to get a message in the Birmingham area, so I highly recommend it for any of you looking for quality. If youre looking for the best price, however, Id do some shopping around before scheduling here.

Had a bad experience, but one of the owners was kind enough to offer full refund or day at the spa. I decided to give them another chance and was reminded why I liked the place to begin with. Prices are still a bit steep, but for massage and pedicure services rendered Id say its worth it.

Ive had probably 8 spa experiences in my life and this was by far the worst experience, massage and facial I have ever had.The massage was so bad, I was counting down for it to be over.The facial was very basic. Each layer was not properly cleaned/removed, thus all the products pilled. A facial roller was used, w/o knowledge of ayurvedic practices or of the lymph system and was just rolled all over, haphazardly. The top and final product which is usually luxurious or the best, final step, was literally a cheap cream SPF. She must have put an entire TBS on my face because she rubbed it in for a very long time and even rubbed it on my lips. No end lip product was used. When I looked in the mirror afterwards, my entire face and decollete had pills and residue of product; I had to wipe my face off in the bathroom. My face was sticky for the rest of the day.

Very nice spa! I love the facials Ive received by Erin. Ive had a couple massages that were great as well. I also bought a face wash and moisturizer by the Hylunia brand the spa uses and sells; it is very gentle and anti inflammatory for my acne prone skin. I continue to repurchase.

The first time I got a message here my girlfriend and I got a couples message for Valentines day. The message therapists are very professional and do a great job. Ive went back several times since and would recommend them.

I am very disappointed with how the owner of Escape Day Spa treated my friends and me. We called to book 5 appointments for an out of town Girls Weekend to celebrate a friend who recently graduated with her PhD. From the time we walked in until the time we were asked to leave the establishment (Yes, I said asked to leave!!), we felt unwelcomed. The owner made several excuses for not having one appointment booked, even going as far to tell us that she spoke to one of us (someone who never called to book an appointment) after we repeatedly told her she didnt. She dismissed our concerns to take care of another customer and never came back to ensure we were accomodated. We all received great service from the massage therapist (Nita is great!) and manicurist, Mrs. D.J (Best pedicure I ever had!), but respect goes a long way. The owner constantly said Ive done everything I can to accomodate you, but she is a massage therapist, so why couldnt she provide the service? I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a MBA. One thing Ive learned is that to have a successful business, you have to provide excellent customer service to all clients. A patron that has a bad experience is more likely to tell others than one who has a great experience.

This is my favorite place to come after I have been stressed put and run through the ringer. Ive been a handful of times and it remains my favorite place to go for peace and relaxation.

The gel pedicure I received wasn’t good at all. The technician didn’t soak the existing gel polish off my toes (filed and scraped the polish off, which is not the correct technique and can damage the nail), didn’t use the uv lights as you are supposed to (she had them on each foot much shorter than than the instructions call for), didn’t trim/file my nails down as requested, didn’t use toe-separators, and three of my toes are smudged as a result. I don’t mind spending extra for gel, but $80 for a bad pedicure is terrible all the way around. Won’t go back or recommend this spa.

Today was my first visit there and I had a wonderful experience. Jackie made my procedures very pleasant with her professional and friendly manner and she was very informative and knowledgeable regarding the other procedures they offer. This was my first visit there but wont be my last! I highly recommend.

First off, I rarely right reviews but thought in this case it was imperative that I share my experience at Escape Day Spa. I was referred to Escape by a friend due to their excellent service and her experience with the lash extensions. My lash artist had just moved, so I was excited/ nervous to find someone as good as she was.My first fill was subpar after I had explain exactly what I was looking to accomplish for the visit. I decided to give Escape another shot - the second time my lashes turned out beautifully and I was thrilled with my experience. That was until - two days post lash fill half of one of my eyes lashes all fell out. This continued with both eyes over the course of the next few days. I am exactly two weeks from my fill and have zero lashes on either eye. I called Escape to tell they of my concern and they responded with zero help. They mentioed that is was “perfectly normal for all lashes to fall out in a two week period” - I would give them the benefit of the doubt on this one if I hadn’t ever had lashes and not understood the time line on fills - MAYBE. I have been getting lashes for over a year now and typically get a fill every four weeks - just a fill - not a freaking whole set. They mentioned that my fills were done at a time when the “glue was bad”. With bad glue issues and subpar customer service I would seriously not recommend going to Escape for lash extensions. Frustrating!! Needless to say Escape lost my business and that of my friend, who had a similar experience.

My sister booked this place for my bachelorette spa day for my 3 bridesmaids and me. Unfortunately the spa was anything but relaxing. My expectant sister (her doctor told her it absolutely ok for her to get a massage and this was told to the manager) was avoided by the employees for at least 40 minutes while everyone else was getting massages and facials, only after my older sister asked another employee where my sisters masseuse was and why was she not receiving the paid for services.We also scheduled 4 manicures and pedicures. My sister made sure we could all be together. They usher 3 of us into the nail spa area, my expectant sister was off getting a facial at this point, we told the manager we wanted to wait for her. She assured us we were only getting started and wouldnt start without her. A few moments later she comes back and says by the way one of you four will have to wait because we only have 3 nail techs. Well they told my sister over the phone that everyone would be together and getting their nails done together. The fourth pedicure chair, which we thought they had ready for my absent sister was actually for an appointment that was 30 minutes later. A few minutes later I went into the waiting area to grab something, and my expectant sister had been left there after they told us she would be brought in the nail spa area after her facial. I let her take my place to get her manicure done first. She had been left out of the entire day, and I was hoping this would make her feel better.30 minutes later the appointment for the 4th chair showed up and lo and behold so did a fourth nail tech. They told us they only had 3, then this mysterious 4th tech shows up. Then after everyone was done and I was waiting for a manicure, the nail tech who did my pedicure was working on my sister, but the other two were on their phones. They ignored me, and then told me that they couldnt do my manicure because the other girl had started. So youre just going to get on your phone in front of customers?This spa day was not worth the price or the mistreatment by the staff. I do not recommend for groups; however their solo packages are good.

Based on the website info, I would visit this place if I lived near or visited that area. I was looking for a graduation gift and I think we decided to use their services. The graduate lives in Birmingham.

I had a massage with lluh nita i think was her name & she was a very sweet girl! The place is nice i will go back but hopefully you guys take this review into account that it wasn’t the fully 30 mins i know it was 25 and if i am paying $65 I’m sorry but i need my extra 5 minutes of relaxation. I looked at the time we started on purpose because i read a review like this and i was afraid it would happen to me and it did. Only reason i will go back is because I’m going to make sure i say this upfront and they are all nice people and i still tipped not what i wanted because of the time.. but just know that is why i didn’t leave what i wanted to leave.
