EXCELLENT. EXCELLENT. EXCELLENT.My bf and I came here for a Friday night date night and it didn’t disappoint! All we knew about this place was that they had a sauna and cold plunge. When we arrived, we had a complete tour of the place and started by each of us doing 20 minutes in a relaxing massage chair in the same room. Then we did 20 minutes in a red light pod and 20 minutes in a humidity color therapy pod (individually). We followed that by 60 minutes in the sauna/cold plunge room that we were able to do together. Finally, we finished our evening together for 20 minutes in the salt room. I felt pampered, relaxed, and could breathe better. I will definitely be going back and can’t recommend this place enough.

Wow! Just wow! This very clean (and I’m particular about this)wellness studio exceeded my expectations!As an athlete my body is constantly needing regular maintenance especially massage. I have been going to Emerald since they opened the doors and have not found a better place. After being in a car accident my body and mind needed more modalities to heal. I needed to find my happy place again. I LOVE the way my body feels hours and days after spending a day doing the different rooms. I am especially fond of the halo therapy room. My breathing after years of sinus infections has improved immensely! My favorite room by far is the hot/cold room. After turning 50 I realize it’s harder to recover faster but once I incorporated the cold plunge, sauna and compression boots I truly feel my youth again!I think it’s convenient I can find everything I need in one place! I am usually not one to do reviews but I feel this place deserves the shout out! Thank you Emerald Wellness and Bodywork!

I had such an amazing experience and love the care that goes into the clients, it clearly shows at the beginning of your arrival. The float tank was the best rest I have had in months, and I was quite surprised of the size of the tank, for anyone wanting to experience this, I highly recommend it! The Hydrofusion is next on my list because it is so dry here in Idaho that I know this will benefit my body in so many ways. And Just to let you know, I have had over 20 years of experience in the Massage industry, Therefore, I’m very meticulous about body therapy of any kind, And I cannot rave about this place enough. ❤️

Beware of gift cards. See the other reviews. I previously posted a detailed review showing a message exchange with a previous employee, the CC resolving a false charge in my favor, and the letter from their lawyer threatening me to keep my mouth shut. It appears that Emerald was able to have it hidden. (I still see it when logged into that account but others cannot.) Ill post a much shorter review this time so that I cant be accused of violating some policy. Attached is a screenshot of the beginning of my previous review.

10/10 experience! My husband and I did the fire + ice room and a massage. It was absolutely incredible! Every worker was helpful, knowledgeable & the amenities were luxury! We were thrilled to have found this place after we experienced something like this at a resort in Mexico! Now we will be regulars 🤩 They’re in the process of updating their website so see the photos of the menus we got for services & pricing! Now go experience it all for yourself & Enjoy!

Hands down best service and amenities in Boise! As a full time ultra runner my body goes through a lot. My number one job is to keep my body injury free and rejuvenated to keep on training. I came into Emerald by chance on a run during my 3 day trip to Boise and decided to extend my trip to 9 days specifically to optimize my recovery here. (Side note I travel full time for my trail running) The customer service creates an outstanding personal experience and the amenities will keep you healthy at a comfortably challenging level. Could not recommend this place enough.

Been receiving regular massages for 1.5yrs from this location. Absolutely fabulous when Johnny was there. He did deep tissue massage & muscle work. I first went there for extreme numbness i was having in my arm. It had gotten so bad that my arm would be numb or tingling for 80% of the day. I could tell huge difference after 2-3 sessions close together and within a few weeks, totally healed!!! I stuck with them b/c of that experience, and continued to have great experience until he left. Id give 10stars up until then... tho over the 1.5yrs, the front desk staff was changing a lot. And literally Id give a negative star review now if i could. I have tried 3 other massage therapists in the last 6 months and none of them were good. And the office starting tacking on $20-$25 fees for this and that and the other.... things I didnt even know about. Like one of the fees was for the fact that a massage therapist was labeled as the sports guy? They never said anything about it when I booked the appointment, how would i know he cost extra?? and, I didnt get ANYTHING from his work done on me. He doesnt even speak English. The girl at the front desk is extremely frustrating to work with. If you have a question about your account or even in trying to book massage times, theare extremely slow & frustrating - put you on hold for forever, cant seem to accomodate anything, never have answers, and the system for trying to get answers (email the owner) DOES NOT work! I emailed multiple times to get an accounting for charges and was NEVER answered. The final straw was when i was in the area and called to schedule an appt - they said they had just had a 2pm cancellation and could come in - which I did and then sat til 230, then another half hour in the room - and discovered that the front desk and the massage therapist had COMPLETELY different stories, and the front desk would not take any responsibility for their mistake on time. I am so sick of the front desk and how rude and inconsiderate and irresponsible they are - I will never go back there again... the only positive, good thing was the deep tissue Johnny gave and he isnt even working there anymore nor can/will they give any info of where he is now working or even recommendations for another good deep tissue worker.

Highly recommend you book your next massage here! You wont regret it. Their professionalism, talent and options are amazing.You will notice the difference and feel better because of your visit.My most recent massage was with Carly and my shoulders have never felt better.

I have been going to emerald for massages for almost 2 years now.While pregnant I was able to do prenatal massages that were always incredible.Steve does an incredible deep tissue massage.Also very welcoming front desk staff!

I bought my fiance a gift card for Valentines Day for a one hour massage, this place is constantly booked and couldnt get an appointment until May!!!! Do you life and uncontrollable events we missed the appointment I called to reschedule but was only informed that they where booked yet again, and because we missed our appointment they deactivated the gift card! This is extremely unforgivable and absolutely not how you should run a business! Id understand a mild missed appointment fee but to just deactivate the gift card? No absolutely garbage customer service, I wasnt informed that was going to happen if we failed to show up. Do your self a favor and avoid Emerald wellness & bodyworks its not a company.....its just a bunch of thiefs.

I am very happy with the care I receive here. The owner is very knowledgeable about bodywork and goes above and beyond to make sure your visit is the best it can be. I feel they listen to your needs and make valuable suggestions for your treatment in order to feel amazing when you walk out of there. Lindsay is an amazing massage therapist. The place is clean and everyone there is friendly. Often times I can get an appointment the same day I schedule. I highly recommend Emerald Wellness & Bodywork. It is the only place I will get massages.

I highly recommend Emerald Wellness and Bodywork!! I received my first massage last night, and from the moment I walked in I was blown away by my experience. I don’t think I will ever find another place as nice as Emerald! The ambiance was very relaxing and the fireplace in the reception area is a nice touch. The entire staff was very knowledgeable including the front desk ladies. They explained the process entirely and reviewed my intake paperwork to ensure I received a massage customized to my needs! Arial, my message therapist, was lovely. She was very thorough and competent as she quickly found my problems area. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed!

Great place. Easy to get to. Clean, with a calming, peaceful atmosphere. The owner and front desk are very nice and professional. I have seen Bibi, May and Lindsey and they are all great therapists. I go there at least once a month for a massage. Very pleased!

Im temporarily paralyzed from a spinal injury & thanks to Johnny the muscle relief I gained in my hips and flexibility is life-changing. So Much easier to walk during physical therapy & around my home which makes my loved ones happy. Including he was just a really cool guy to Convo for an hour w made me even more comfortable. I Definitely recommend the essential oils & positive tranquil energy Ingredients for a great day and a great review!!!

Exceptional staff, facility, and massage rooms. Locally owned. Reasonable prices and great holiday sales!I’m a retired professional contemporary dancer, and used to receive many forms of massage on a regular basis. I have never had a massage as good as the ones I have received from Emerald Wellness and Bodywork. Hands down-they have the best crew! I recently went to Emerald Wellness seeking a sports massage, as I’m a nurse and fitness instructor. I really like Anna’s massages. She did a sports massage and even used the hot stones. She is amazing. I also highly recommend Carmen. She is absolutely incredible-she can do it all, energy work, sports Massage, hot/cold stone.

I was looking for a near by place to get set up weekly massages, I called a few places to get pricing information and when I called emerald wellness the lady I spoke on the phone to told me they had a monthly “unlimited” membership for $69. I was surprised by that too-good to be true pricing, so I asked again; “ I can get a massage per week for a total of $69 per month?! Is that right??” She said yes. I scheduled an appt. the day of I called to confirm yet again, this deal of $69 for unlimited massages. The new lady told me no that is not correct. I explained I had been mis informed. She told me if I cancelled my appt that day I would be charged full price for the massage. I asked to speak to the manager about it and she said they weren’t present. I read several other poor reviews about this place charging people without notice, or approval, etc. I didn’t show up to the appt and was charged not just the $69 monthly fee I was quoted , but an unauthorized charge of $99. It’s funny they can steal your money without having ever stepped foot inside their building or signing any contracts. Watch out.

This is by far my favorite massage place!!!The staff is amazing and they care about your well being! Every time I go there they send me home with tips on how to maintain until i return for another massage!!! I can honestly say that Emerald Wellness & Body work was the best experience I have had at a massage parlor. The staff was great, and very welcoming. They make you feel comfortable, and allow you to choose the type of massage you want. Great experience. I had Danny as my massage therapist and she was amazing!! I have had 100% satisfaction from the time Ive started and continue to receive regular monthly massage. I have been getting massages for 30 years now and have had some incredible therapist. Emerald Wellness & Bodywork has some of the best!! They are extremely knowledgeable, very professional and work very hard to accommodate you schedule. I cant say enough about this business, they are incredible!

DO NOT GO HERE! This place will take as much money as they can from you and isn’t doesn’t follow CDC guide lines!I started using this company for massages at the beginning of the year. I went back in after the temporary close period around June, since then I have had 4 different experiences of poor preventative measures regarding COVID. The first was July 16th where the therapist completely removed her mask for the duration of the massage until I turned around and saw her. My next visit a manager (or owner) had her mask on her chin while speaking with me. I have also had two separate therapists wearing NO mask and only a face shield for the entirety of my massage (the CDC does not currently recommend the use of face shields as a substitute for a mask). I did not leave the appointment early upon the risk of losing my money for the appointment regardless.. Upon realizing the risk of visiting this spa and being in a home with at-risk individuals, I decided to cancel my membership, forfeiting a massage I had already paid for aspart of the membership if needed. I was told they would NOT credit the prepaid appointment and they would also be charging me for the FOLLOWING month and I could contact management to see if they would waive the second charge. The manager responded that I will still be charged for the NEXT month but I could use the $100 as credit to go in again, but now I am not on the believe it program so I would have to pay an additional $40. At this point they are charging me $240 to cancel and I still have to go in for a massage regardless of me not feeling safe. She also added, As per the office staff not wearing a mask correctly, they may have just taken a drink of water and you came out. The 1st of the incidences their masks were not near them and placed on a table several steps away and the second it was under her chin the entire time we had a conversation not just for a drink. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH AN UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I saw Carmen today and she was amazing. Best massage I’ve had in a very long time. I highly recommend her. Definitely coming back! I signed up for the membership... you can cancel at anytime and there’s no fee to start! Love this place.

I have been going to this location for over a year and they have done a great job transitioning from the previous franchise envolvement. My therapist, Carmen, is amazing at what she does and she always makes me feel special. I look forward to seeing her every week! She has done wonders for me and always listens or has advice to help during the meantime. I appreciate the little extras they do to make your visit relaxing and comforting. Take care of yourself, schedule an appointment. I can always get in same day and usually even earlier than I originally scheduled. No complaints here! I only wish I could come more often.

My wife and I went to Emerald Wellness a few weeks ago for the first time. I drive by their place everyday so I told my wife we should try them out. Ill tell you what from the moment we walked through the door we had amazing service, established some rapport with the front desk ladies and one of the managers, and the paperwork process was quick and easy. I would like to thank the front desk ladies, the manager that was in Mrs. Cook, (sorry I didnt catch your first name), Jake, and Carmen for the excellent service and massages that we received. It was nice to experience a variety of things such as hot/cold stones and some deep tissue massage, it was really relaxing and helped my muscles tremendously. After our massages Mrs. Cook took some of her time to educate us on our muscles and sore regions and what we can do to help relieve some pain. She knows a lot and I could tell she genuinely cared and wanted to help us out. We were never sold anything which was nice, as I would rather sell myself on something. If youre looking for a great massage and positive atmosphere with people who care and know what they are doing please check them out I promise you wont regret it!

Going to Emerald Wellness was a spur of the moment plan! A friend messaged me out of the blue about a deal they had online. Could not have had a better experience there. Everyone was super kind and friendly, the facility was gorgeous and I enjoyed a great massage from Laura. I’ll be back; especially for the hot stones. 😍

The staff are very nice, they remember you and offer suggestions for better health. I just did an Asian massage with reflexology with Johnny. The reflexology was awesome and the Asian pressure was great... Johnny did a great job!

Exceptional staff and owner! Amy has always made me feel like a VIP and I will continue to be a loyal customer. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, prices are competitive and the staff is knowledgeable and truly cares about each experience.

Unbelievably poor management skills and only average massage therapist due to the fact that the owner can’t keep anybody happy and employed there.The current front office girl Emily is the most Inept person I have ever had to deal with that has no idea what Quality Quality customer service is about.When coronavirus happened I asked for them to stop my monthly payments and they continue to charge me for more than three more months so through a series of emails which got rather unpleasant I decided not to redo my membership due to their poor quality of service and the fact that they cannot keep their word no matter what. I had four gift cards and four sessions left on my account and they punished me by charging me an extra $30 for each of the sessions instead of giving them to me as they were originally purchased stating that they could’ve just taken all my money but they were being generous due to the coronavirus. There’s no way to win with the monthly membership because if you ever go to cancel you pay an extra month and then you lose anything maybe that you had stored up.... I’ll leave a massage one day with one of my last three sessions I’m paying extra money for that they owed me and the office manager is trying to charge me full price again once again showing how poorly run this place is and how inept the staff is I literally stated how they ruined by massage because of the 20 minute ride around I got because they didn’t even know what was going on in the wrong computer system with my account.Then for my Second to last session I asked upfront for them to charge me so that when I leave my massage I don’t feel frustrated at the Front Dess lady Emily cut me off midsentence and tries to defend her behavior for the time before so I told her to please be quiet until I was done talking and she jumped back in her seat like a scalded child for interrupting me and all I wanted to do was pay for my session up front so I didn’t have to deal with her ignorance at the end and so I went into my massage Super frustrated while she blamed the owner for making notes that were confusing.Top that off she decided to take a phone call made me sit there for 20 minutes while she dealt with a customer over the phone and was trying to figure out my account and yes I felt my massage was ruined and ended up leaving and then found out they charge my account an extra $30 instead of just giving me the massage for the price that I originally paid for and then added a tip on randomly not even know if I tipped the massage therapist with cash... top that off she decided to take a phone call and made me sit there for 20 minutes while she dealt with a customer over the phone and was trying to figure out my account and yes I felt my massage was ruined and ended up leaving and then found out they charge my account an extra $30 instead of just giving me the massage for the price that I originally paid for and then added a tip on randomly not even know if I tipped the massage therapist was cash And did it without my permission...So for the coup de grace they decided when I told them that my last session I would not be utilizing services anymore after my last session and they cancel my last session and leave me a nasty email about how good they’ve been to me and how I abuse them and that now my own money is in a gift card that I can donate to somebody else.... instead of just giving me my money back. that would’ve actually showing them that they took the highroad Knowing I didn’t want to ever go back to them that would’ve given them an ounce of class.They decide to spank me for a Poorly ran businessAnd their turnover is atrocious so good luck if you decide to darken those doors!!!

My family and I have purchased multiple gift cards for the holidays shortly before the whole pandemic started. Apparently they will not give an extension for the gift cards which apparently expired in June. They are charging us to use the services we have already paid for. We emailed management and still have had no response. I have personally used their services since 2011 and do not plan to use them moving forward and will advise anyone against using their services based on how they have handled this. I personally purchased 5 gift cards for family members. Quite upsetting that they are still even open and only allowed one month leniency through the pandemic. I plan to advise all family and friends we have purchased these for to submit 1 star as well. This is BS

Best in Boise! The staff always greet me by name when I walk through the door and extend a warm welcoming vibe that encourages relaxation even before the massage begins. Laura has been my therapist for years and I know my stubborn neck and upper back are in the hands of a professional. The atmosphere is simple, relaxing, and not overly fu-fu. The impressive variety of services such has aromatherapy, Himalayan salt, hot/cold stones, CBD oil, cupping, etc. should meet just about anyones needs for massage treatment. Ive had different massage experiences over the years but truly I would not need to go elsewhere every again!

Honestly I was shocked by my experience. Nothing about it was relaxing, I left tense stressed with a migraine. Her movement were rushed and without care. I was scratched by her nails, she would barely apply pressure and when I asked for a little more she pushed so hard it could and did cause injury. I tensed up and said ouch that hurts and wasn’t even acknowledged at times. She got lazy and started only using one hand. I had to repeatedly ask her to workout my knots. She didn’t have technique and seemed uneducated when it came to the muscular system. I at one point asked her to focus on my shoulder and she then proceeded to work my lower back and butt. I left there nauseous with a severe headache due to the amount of force used on my back and neck. I will never go back. Seriously questioning the credentials and skill set.

The owner is awful, to customers and staff. The turnover rate in the therapists is horrible, but it is no wonder with how they are treated. Owner is non-negotiable when you cancel your monthly plan...even when you move out of state. She rips customers and therapist off alike. While there are several goods therapist still working there, I would consider taking my business elsewhere as the staff are not happy and will likely be finding employment elsewhere.

I love this place! The atmosphere is relaxing. The massage therapists do a great job. I like this place better than Elements because they can now do essential oils, cupping, and KT taping! I love KT taping on my knee!

When I go.to a massage thearpist whom has supposedly fone to school to learn the trade, I fully expect professional level massages. I did not recieve one. It was absolutly dreadful. It was supposed to be a deep tissue. It was not, it was barley a Swedish! I would have had better at a Chinese massage parlor! The chick was very terrible at her job. I spent $159.00 of my hard earned money and came away feeling fleeced of my money not treated to a professional worthy massage. They did an aroma therapyTreatment . it was weak and ineffective. I will not be going back. Itwas a terrible experience. Follow up:I called the next day to give this place a chance to make up the sub par experience. The office manager defended the poor work of the massager. Not a happy customer. Customer service is seriously lacking in this town.

I have been getting massages from Emerald Massage since we have been able to reopen from the pandamic. I am very impressed with their protocal fthat they do for check in and to make sure we all stay safe. I have had different therapists and they have all addressed my needs for my massage. I would totally recommend Emerald Wellness and Bodywork

Horrible customer service! We scheduled last minute birthday massages and then had a change of plans. They kept our gift card we were going to use, saying they had a 24 cancellation policy that was NEVER disclosed at any time!! They called us after we left and told us!!! We get massages regularly and will NOT be going to or recommending this company!!!

This is a place of tremendous compassion and concern for the whole well being of their clients. I received a gift card from Emerald while my husband was undergoing treatment at MSTI and was treated kindly and way beyond my expectations at my appointment today. I’m so grateful to have “found” this place!

I have been really enjoying the new infrared pods. I have really noticed a huge difference when I use the pod before my massage sessions. I am less sore during and after I get work done. Honestly, Ive been using the pods daily for weight loss and IT WORKS.

Writing an adequate review for EWB is not an easy task; an endless list of superlatives barely scratches the surface of the depth and degree with which they impact peoples lives. Their goals not only include relieving the physical discomforts, but also entail helping you gain insight into the emotional/mental/psychological factors that are involved, as well as assisting you in getting in touch w/ your physical self.Just walking in to EWB, one is struck by the immediate change in ambience from the outside world. Theres a quiet calmness...a slowing down...but also an inviting feel that youre welcomed and wanted. Cheery and patient describe the pleasant front office people.Their massagers are skillful, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring. Ive had primarily Jason, who seems to have mastered this craft at a relatively young age. Every minute of the experience, theyre attuned to and focused on your tension level, needs, wants. Theyre equally adept at distracting you from your worries, explaining anatomy and goals, or just letting a session go by in silence, if that is best for that day.Any business wants to thrive financially, but clearly thats not number 1 on EBWs objectives. I experienced myself, and can attest to others whove had similar, that dramatic discounts occurred w/in a visit....wherein it seemed EBWs perception was that the importance of the treatment and session received by the individual... far outweighed the need to make a buck. This is most uncommon; one simply rarely sees this.Ive been around the block, so to speak, and its hard to overstate the excellence of this place. I would not hesitate to recommend them extremely highly. They are the most compassionate and wonderful group of people (and it starts from the owner, Amy, on down) Ive come across in my 57 years of life.

I was referred to this establishment initially but when my friend began having issues with the company I became concerned about the management. They are extremely unprofessional in their correspondence with customers and refuse to fix issues. In fact the management would rather argue and talk about her own personal issues than fix a simple problem. They have not only lost one customer but three including my fiancé and I. Very disappointed.

Staff members were very kind and knowledgeable of my physical needs. The office and staff were practicing covid protocols. I always enjoy their business. Best staff and services I have ever experienced.

I singed up for a monthly message program at a discounted rate before covid-19 and had the service for 5 months and paid for 5 messages which I used only 3 then I cancelled the monthly billing via email, a short time later I called to set up an appointment for my paid sessions only to be told that I forfited them. I FEEL LIKE THEY STOLE MY MONEY 💸💰.

As a Marine Corps infantry veteran, I have pretty chronic back pain and muscle tension. Emerald does an amazing job, and I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you have chronic back pain, or are a veteran of any sort.

I’ve been going here since they opened and previously when it was ran by the owner .Very passionate about helping people and extremely professional .Laura is the Best therapist I’ve ever had no one had ever compared.I get work done in Major cities and let me tell you this facility is second to none with talented employees and a Owner who really cares about your wellness.Top notch 🔥👌🏾

The owner was crazy rude to my friend who was a client there and cheated her out of her pre paid massages. Therapists are not treated with respect by the owner. Same owner from Elements diffrent name.
