Vintage Restaurant and Lounge

Stopped here for a quick drink before going elsewhere for dinner and wish we had stayed. The bartender was great..I forget her name but she made the best berry mojito I have ever had. They have a good wine list and lots to offer on the dinner menu. Ive gone there years ago and recall the food being really good. Its a nice atmosphere..large bar area which is where we sat and a great location. I will definitely return and next time stay for a meal!

Pretty tasty cocktails and warm vibe! Also one of the very few places where we could drink in peace on a 31st Dec night.

Absolutely awful. As someone in the restaurant industry I never write reviews but after such a horrible interaction it couldnt be helped. It started off well, we arrived at 715pm and were seated promptly and appetizer orders were taken immediately. Then it went south. We asked for bread that never came, 20 minutes passed before the server (if you can call her that) came back to ask for drink orders which we declined as we had decided to go elsewhere for dinner since we felt ignored and still had no food. After another 15 minutes we asked for an update at which point the server went to check in the kitchen and came out a few minutes later with someone elses entrees in her hand. At this point we were half way out the door and we told the server to cancel the order we were leaving, she began to argue and tell us things dont work like that which we said apps dont take 45 minutes and she continued to argue that it wasnt 45 minutes. Maybe it wasnt 45min since she entered the order since she forgot about us but according to out parking ticket from 7:12pm we left at 7:58 i think thats about 45 minutes, give it some leeway 35 minutes...still unacceptable for apps. It was a party of 5, 2 servers, a bartender, a manager and a general manager so I think we know what were talking about. We all understand the industry and have been in the industry 10+yrs each but felt this was inexcusable.

I just landed in Boston and had a lite and delicious dinner here. The wings were crispy and not too hot just the way I like them! The Caesar salad was super fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The salmon was perfect. The aperol spritz made by Gina was excellent. Cute, friendly and casual and right across the street from Boston Downtown Hilton Fanueil hall. The desserts I witnessed looked great. They aim to please and care about great customer service!!! As Arnold said....I’ll be back!

If I could give this place a zero they would receive a zero.. I have worked in this industry for over 30 yrs and never have I experienced such a rude obnoxious worker.. she obviously is not an owner nor manager but sure did act this she owned the place.: after waiting 40 mins for threeappetizers we decided to leave the establishment without even eating .. we asked for bread … never received, we weren’t offered cocktails until 30 minutes later.. and after saying that we were leaving because were tired of waiting the “worker” with an attitude commented “that’s not typically how it works” …,. I’m sorry I would like for her to I know how this buisness typically works and your service was not it….. beware …. Not great

We Took a private mixology class. The instructor (also the owner) was very knowledgeable on mixology and oenology. Taught us about the differences and similarities of seemingly different liquors and gave us best practices for hosting our own events. Step by step instructions on 3 unique ‘Vintage’ cocktails that we got to enjoy while we where there. Great personable environment and next time we go out will definitely stop by vintage again.

Went here yesterday evening for a business dinner. My office is around the corner and I had never been. Man, what a pleasant surprise. I will surely be back. The cocktails were beautifully made and delicious. The food was top-notch, and the service was just as good. We were waited on by the owner, who seemed like a great guy and also played the role of bartender, host, and food runner. Respect to that man, and we’ll see you again!

Not sure why this has so many stars. The drink was horrible. The app looked and tasted like came from microwave. Not sure how you mess up chicken piccata so badly. Waitress spilled sauce in table and never came back to clean it,and somehow took my napkin when i went to bathroom. Weird. Also was seated so close to bathroom we were practically in it and could see into kitchen, which wasnt appetizing at all. I regret wasting my money here. But at least we laughed.

I took part in a custom cocktail-mixing event with my Marketing team, but didnt stick around for dinner (which came after the lesson at 9pm). The instructions were clear, and fun, and made for an awesome memory for my team! But Im told the dinner was subpar... I had fun at least!

Great pizza, wings, cocktails, and service! So glad we ended up here a couple nights in a row while staying at the Dagny. Get the smash cocktail (can’t remember the exact name) as it’s literally smashed with ice, perfectly chilled and delicious!

We were the only ones here on a Friday night! But it was very tasty, reasonably priced, and with friendly staff. And a few creative cocktails never hurt. 😉 Definitely worth a visit!

A fun bar and restaurant right across the street from the Hilton. Service was great and the rumor is that the drinks are amazing. The food came out quick and hot. I was a little let down by the lack of flavor, but if I had a couple of beers in me it wouldnt have mattered ;) I would say its a great place for appa and drinks!

This hidden chic gem lounge in the front while a gorgeous private restaurant in the back. One of my favorite top places to go for cocktails and apps. The ambiance is perfect. The music volume is perfect to enjoy it hearing, but you can still talk to your friends. The bartenders are well manner and are great conversationalist. The owner, David is an amazing cook, bartender, conversationalist, and host. He will make you feel like you been going to Vintage for years even if it is your first time there. Great place to go and I recommend for everyone!

This place is a hidden gem in Boston!!! The food is first rate and very reasonably priced. Delicious cocktails and (per it’s name) the wine list is extremely impressive! The thing I love most of all, however, is the service. As someone who is new to Boston I have to say they make feel welcome and like home. I haven’t really gotten that kind of service anywhere else since I moved here! Also, if you need somewhere safe for a small family or office function - the place is immaculate and they have private rooms just for you and your guests.I wish I could give them more than 6 stars!!! ❤️❤️❤️

We booked a personal cocktail hour and then dinner. The cocktail bar tender was focused on himself - it cost us over $1,000 for 6 of us and he spent the entire time on himself. What a waste. The dinner was poor to average. Salmon was returned for being burnt. Eggplant parmigiana was over cooked. Duck tasted like chicken. Waiters never cleaned up the appetizers. We had to beg for water. And the wait staff blew us off. This place is poor service and bad food.

I found this gem a little while ago, and instantly felt like I was a part of the family. The food is absolutely magnificent. The drinks are made to perfection on any ask of what your preferred drinks is. The service and company is second to none. The staff is incredibly friendly and always able to make your day better. The perfect spot to stop before your commute home, or a night out.

Amazing food and service. Chef berger is huge and so tasty. Clam chowder is to die for and Gnoghi is so creamy and flavorful. Highly recommended. Try the light and refreshing cocktails. Cucumber cocktail is my favorite. Tomas is a great server, you are in for a great experience if he has your table. This will be a go to for me whenever I am in town.

What a pleasure!We went for a mixology class which was really fantastic; David is a great guy and an even better instructor. I have since dined with Dave and let me tell you - the duck breast is out of this world. His wine selection, cocktails, bread pudding, wait staff, all perfect!

One of my all time favorite places to eat, drink, relax, talk and meet people.Award winning Chef Rueben whips up a delicious menu, everything from sliders to Italian specialties. Menu changes seasonally and makes use of the fresh ingredients.Beautiful interior looks very upscale, however, you can dress casually.A very “hands on “ business. Owner and manager are on site to assist in menu or questions regarding their extensive liquor collection. They also are wonderful conversationalists without being intrusive.Special attention is given to guests. Strong neighborhood and visitor clientele.One visit, and you will find yourself becoming a regular.

Vintage has been one of mine and my families favorite places. The food is always amazing and the people that work there are awesome. Please support Vintage during this crazy time. I have already been in and sat outside this summer and they have taken the proper precautions. I have also had multiple work parties and my baby shower here! It is my cheers of Boston and food is so yummy!

My friend and I stopped in for a bite to eat.We dined outside and by the way was a beautiful evening. The Server was absolutely fantastic and the food would have been better but the owner of the Establishment was so consumed with one of his friends Lamborghinis that was parked curbside or whatever type of car that his friend owned. Which in turn the owner monopolize their dinner and ours by speaking about money and other cars that he owned by comparing vehicles, money etc…That went on and on for over 45 minutes.The owner walked by our table and never asked us is everything ok with your food but he asked his friends.And that inconsiderate of us really set us OFF!He was so consumed about materialistic things he did not even asked us about our meal..As we left the restaurant we past him which was a perfect opportunity to ask us was everything ok. He never asked about our food or acknowledged us again because he was still talking about his cars and money sounding so obnoxious and redundant like child in Middle School..

Great sophisticated bar but completely approachable and comfortable. Food is great. Drinks are great. Service is outstanding.....oh, and so is the bread pudding if youre into that.

For the first time since covid started, my brother and I went out to a restaurant for a drink and some food. We sat outside and we were the only people at the restaurant that evening. The service was good, but the food and drinks were not. The calimari was over salted, and the pizza crust was soggy. We each had a bourbon cocktail off the menu and it was basically just ice. My brother got an IPA that had clearly passed its prime months earlier. Portions were small especially when considering the price. I know things arent easy right now, and it was a mid-week evening so they may not have had their A-team in the kitchen, but it was very disappointing.

I came here after a night out on a party boat, looking for some food and this place had some strong drinks and really good pizza.

Fantastic scotch tasting at Vintage. Owner David really enhanced the experience with his deep knowledge of the brands and food pairings. Also noticed all of the food coming out looked spectacular.

The staff is beyond friendly. The bartenders are creative with their drinks. Vintage has maximized their space. Perfect corner spot with lots of windows and great outdoor seating. In the heart of the financial district perfect for lunch for dinner. Everything I have had was amazing. I got to meet owner who went above and beyond taking his time speaking with guests making sure all needs where meet. I will be going here from now on. Its hidden gem in the city!

What a great escape to celebrate summer- had a super fun experience with a small group of friends for drinks, dinner,, dessert. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly, service was efficient, professional and fun. The food was so incredibly good ! Great wine list topped the evening ( as did the desserts) Won’t be long before we are back

We were a bit disappointed at the Vintage. It didnt meet the vibe or food quality that appeared online. The layout is small and weird. Its not ideal during COVID. Definitely more of a small bar than a restaurant. The food and drinks werent very good- and I just got a burger and fries. My husbands mixed drink didnt have any other flavor other than straight alcohol.

Great customer service. Staff went out of their way for us and for other customers around us. Best berry mojito I have even had. Amd obviously made with care. Clean, and beautiful decor. We did not eat, but the food that came out looked absolutely delicious and everyone eating at the bar finished their plates and commented how good it was.Would absolutely go back. Thank you.

A hidden gem!!!! My wife and I stumbled upon Vintage and it was amazing. We got dinner early, and received top quality service. The food was prepared perfectly and the drinks were delicious. I would definitely return and enjoy for either dinner or just drinks.

Vintage is a gem in the city of Boston with excellent personalized service, chic furniture and romantic lighting. My favorite choice from their menu is a steaming hot plate of their flavorful Bolognese pasta. I also truly love their exquisite Traditional Flat Bread pizza. I cant wait to try more from their menu!

Great atmosphere!! Dave provided great service and food was perfect - gnocchi and flat breads were outstanding. My kids especially liked the fig and pear flat bread! Felt like it was my neighborhood restaurant!

We came late on Friday late at night. Almost closing time. The owner was there and this guy named Thomas who was very nice, friendly and patient. The drinks were great. Had a great talk with staff. Must try

VL has the most delicious food and the vibe is so much fun! The food and cocktails are excellent but the environment isnt stuffy and we had a blast. The menu offered so many things I like and the servers are incredibly helpful and friendly. Cant wait to go back and try another dish!

Filthy menus, booth seats were enormous and worn out, horrible decor, bizarre layout, none of the drinks tasted good, wouldn’t even eat food here after looking around at other customers’ dishes. Pretty gross. Pictures do not reflect the restaurant atmosphere. So many better places to go, like Tiki Rock.

The duck was very good. But the overall experience was just shy of five stars. Very good if you are already in that part of town at a hotel but probably not a big dinner destination for locals that dont live in that area.

This is a hidden gem! We had appetizers & Filet mignon . It was amazing!!!! The price is excellent!! Thomas the waiter was super helpful and sweet. Don’t judge a book by its cover!!! Great place!!!

Just had diner at this wonderful place. The staff was wonderful!!! Our bartender made us delicious drinks and the food was equally delicious! Do yourself a favor and visit this place for your drink and especially food needs!

I ordered fried clams that were $15 and got tons of lettuce and chips and very little clams, so much I even felt like it was important to bring up to waiter. I showed to all my friends to make sure I wasnt losing my mind, and they were equally surprised at the little quantity they gave us. Its like I paid $15 for lettuce and chips. Waiter said he couldnt do anything outside of bringing his manager. High disappointment. I know Im at a bar, but come on.

I had their steak that was sliced up and it was the most tasteless steak I have ever had. For 26$ which was one of their most expensive meal items on their menu was a hudge disapointment. They must have just taken the steak out of the freezer and just slapped it on the grill and thats it. This was takeout and they knew we are from the hotel accross the street and yet no utensils or napkins or anything. My wifes meal had things missing as well. This is my second review in my life and the first review was a positive one. Not recommended in my oppinion

Great place to go for drinks or hold a small party. Staff is great and attentive. Food is amazing!! I am have had so many wonderful events and memories at this restaurant. Support the local businesses and keep this place open!!

Great service, delicious food, apps are great, food was superb. Came late at night in search of a good bite. Right across from our hotel and was an absolute treat.

Glamorously appointed venue with attentative, knowledgeable staff provide on target New American cuisine. Wine card has a range pf choices for those that depart from the classic, inspired cocktails.

Well I dont know who had good time and great food there but when we went on 11/15/2013 we left sooo disappointed. Few ppl were there, maybe friends of the staff. We went to celebrate birthday and in the end when they brought us the so called cake it was disgusting- something made with ground beef, spices and mix for dough and on the top ice-cream?! Uhh. The restrooms were so dirty :(((. If you are going just to have a drink and be in more quiet place thats the place. They make only nice cocktails, may be that is the only good thing.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! We went on a Friday night for dinner and for some reason we were the only couple in the entire place. It was very confusing because their food was incredible. Definitely give Vintage a try.

Low key place, odd layout with two bars and a loosely connected dining room and lounge area. Competent bar staff, and unexpectedly good food, nothing too daring or trendy, just executed well every time. Tends to get a lot of business travelers from the nearby hotels.

The manager was the rudest person Ive ever experienced at a restaurant. The moment we stepped in the door he met us with attitude. Extremely pretentious considering the mediocre quality of everything else that followed.

Unique cocktails, interesting menu. Food was excellent, the waitstaff professional, and the ambience quiet and relaxed.

We stopped in, visiting from the Midwest, Stephanie gave us a tour and we came back for an AMAZING dinner and cocktails. The mushroom ravioli was to die for. Will be back next time we visit. :)

Terrible food and even worse service. Cant believe how rude David the manager was, Ive never been treated so rudely at a restaurant in my life. Will never go back and will never recommend it to anyone coming to Boston.

Absolutely unequivocally the most disappointing meal I’ve had in the last quarter century. The lone server was bored and arrogant and the food was bland to the point of tasteless, my partner couldn’t even eat his. Awful.

Nice lounge to grab a drink after work, bartenders are all very nice and the lounge has two sides plus a dining area. Usually less packed than the bars in financial district.

Always red carpet service and the food and drink are to die for. Never had a less than stellar experience @ Vintage. #Delightful

Vintage Restaurant and lounge is a classy yet relaxed place to gather with friends and family or have a quiet dinner! The service is second to none and the food was magnificent!!

I went there with the crew and service was excellent and it’s obvious that the owner /management take great pride in culinary excellence. The prices are very reasonable too.

Great place with tasty libations and tapas. A little bit tiny in the front area and a kittle pricey but a cozy atmosphere.

Food was delicious you can tell the pasta is homemade. Highly recommend the gnocchi.

A lot of the food was oversulted. Some of the other food was just OK.

Very poor customer service, waiter took too long between services, and the restaurant was more than half empty. My order was all screwed up. I wouldn’t receive it.
