Massage Envy

I frequent massage envy a lot and am always impressed with their therapists. last night I had a 90 minute with MarSheka, my first time with her, and it was a godsend. I expressed concern about my forearms from my career, and she made me feel like a brand new human. I swear she bought new arms and attached them to my body. Even after a nights rests my arms still feel relaxed and loose. I will definitely book again with her as soon as she has some more availability!

Tracie was great! She was very respectful to my requests and attentive to my trouble spots! We were even able to enjoy a good laugh! Definitely would book with Tracie again!

Had my 1st massage at Massage Envy with Shaina. She asked me how I like the pressure I told her not very hard and I didnt want it to hurt. I thought she understood. Some of the massage pressure was fine but others hurt as she applied the pressure very rough. It felt like an arm and elbow needing my muscles. Ive never had a massage when done I felt more pains and aches in my shoulders and upper back. I went in with one shoulder hurting to come out with additional pain. Massage should never hurt. I will not be going back there again. Such a disappointment for my 1st time there. UPDATE I received a call from manager that they wanted to get me in for the relaxing massage I wanted in the first place but I had to pay them more than what I did the first time because the person they were putting me with only had 90 min instead of 60. No way! That doesnt rectify the bad service I experienced by making me pay them double for service. Whatever happen making it right for the customer at the business expense?? I will never go to Massage Envy in Cool Springs. Such a disappointment. Bad business and bad management. They do not treat the customer well. FYI I didnt choose the massage person she was chosen for me. The manager try to say you can see on the website people that give massages. They told me who I would be with.

Tracie is always very friendly and she listens to what I say. She always asks if there are any areas of concerns before she begins, how Im feeling during the massage, if the pressure is good and will adjust accordingly. She will ask questions about my daily routine to get a better understanding of why I may be experiencing tightness or discomfort when I arrive. She will offer suggestions as to what I should do so Im not as tight/knotted up as I call it. She will work on the areas that are needing the most attention usually until I feel some relief. She asks again to be sure Im getting the massage experience I wanted. Before leaving she reminds me to drink plenty of fluids. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived.

Paris was exceptional! She delivered a truly rejuvenating experience. Her technique and calm demeanor created an atmosphere of pure relaxation! I left feeling revitalized and refreshed! I highly recommend Paris for anyone seeking a top-notch massage experience and I cannot wait to see her again!

Ashley is always very nice and knowledgeable. I enjoyed my microdermabrasion very much. She always knows what needs to be done. Thank you Ashley!I noticed you have increased your prices again. You should have a “Grand-Fathered” in price for long time loyal customers. I’ve been a member at Massage Envy 15 years. I don’t feel that I should pay as much as someone who has paid every month format years!

Lily is an incredibly professional massage therapist and I can’t recommend her enough! Book your appointment with her and you won’t regret it. She worked out some of my incredibly deep knots and even worked on my jaw as I have TMJ. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough great things about her. Will definitely be seeing Lily for all my future appointments.

Dale is undoubtedly one of the most skilled and experienced deep tissue massage therapists I have ever encountered. While his techniques may occasionally border on the edge of discomfort, he has an uncanny ability to identify and address areas that require attention. If you are seeking a knowledgeable, well-rounded, and enthusiastic deep tissue massage therapist, look no further. Thank you for your exceptional service, sir! Rachel was extremely nice. She said her pressure was light to medium. I would say her pressure is light. She did a great job but light is too late for me so I will have to pass on her next time. If you’re looking for a relaxing massage she’s your gal.

I hate to draw attention to my favorite therapist, as she’s already busy as-is, but Sheka is amazing. She’s smart, funny, kind, and has magical hands! I always look forward to my sessions with her. She always remembers my preferences and continually asks about my comfortability. My back would be lost without her!

First time going to Massage Envy. Staff was friendly upon entering. I filled out some documents pertaining areas of interest( massage areas). I liked that it allowed you choose areas that you dont want massaged. Marsheka was my therapist, she did an amazing job. 90 min session. Ill be back.

I Deal with chronic pain and massage therapy has been what’s helped me the most over the yearsI gave Veronica a 10 because God use her hands to help my pain level. I also enjoyed talking to her. I will definitely be back.

Bridgette was great! The whole week leading up to my appointment I had the worst crick/knot in my neck. I could barely turn my head. A couple of days I was dizzy it hurt so bad. I talked to her about it before the appt and she was attentive and made a plan for our appt. I felt comfortable and I’m just so appreciative! She did magic on my neck. I cried tears of joy when I laid my head on my pillow yesterday evening. It didn’t hurt anymore. (All of this sounds dramatic and I’m aware but I’m so serious!) Thank you, Bridgette!

I have been a member here for at least a decade. Have too many saved massages from membership than I care to admit. Called two days ago at my wifes request to book massages for each of us in her only day off this week. Spoke with someone on the phone and discussed times and preference for both female therapists and was confirmed with two different times with two female(wont name the here) therapist for 1030 and 11am.Arrived today and I tried to check in and the woman at the computer could not find my scheduled massage. My wife went to the woman at the other computer and checked right in for her 11am. That woman then left the front desk while the woman in front of me struggled to find my appointment.When the other woman came back out I asked her from where I was standing with whom was my wifes appointment. As my wife and I were the only customers in the waiting area, I was perplexed at the fact that she didnt respond to me three times that I asked herShe then stated that since I was in front of the other computer she still thought I was talking to that employee. I became frustrated as I was realizing that my morning was likely wasted as it is a forty minute drive to get to this establishmentThe second woman then berated me for being upset and said there must have been a miscommunication in regard to my appointment. I was astounded that it felt as if she was insinuating that I didnt understand what transpired during the phone call that I made to make the appointments including the knowledge of the times for each and who my therapist was supposed to beI told her that I was very clear in my recollection and understanding of the discussion in which I was an active participant. This second woman then told me that I had no right to be upset as neither she nor the first woman were the persons who took my phone call. So I am supposed to find out who the person was who took my phone call and wait for her to come into work and voice my frustration with her? As employees do they not have or feel a certain responsibility to identify and rectify the mistake or should they just tell a customer that oh well, sorry you didnt understand the substance of the conversation to which you were a party and you have no right to be upset that we as a business have wasted your time.I walked out, left my wife to have her massage and before her 11am massage my wife came out to tell me that they told her that the person who took my call was new and that someone scheduled another person with my scheduled therapistI told my wife to tell them to cancel my March scheduled massage as well.My wife then messeged me to let me know that they were going to have the Asst Manager call me. Ha! I would rather speak to Ms Sarah Stein and they owe me for 50% of the massage they unilaterally canceled inside of 24 hours just like they charge customers who cancel inside of 24 hours.

This was my second massage with Tracie and she is wonderful! She first starts with a conversation to find out what specific needs I have, then she provides a very thorough massage with medium pressure remembering those things I told her. I would recommend her to anyone!

Shaina is awesome. She knows many techniques and really tends to the areas that are most tense. The front desk staff are also always nice and helpful.

Lily was amazing and she made me even fall asleep! She knows what she is doing. You should definitely have her as your therapist! Thank you Lilly so much and I feel great!

I go to M.E for therapeutic massage at least once a month and I havent been disappointed! Ive seen Shawn a couple times and yesterday he worked on my hips and lower back pain from sitting and driving. Hes fantastic! I told him i felt 2 taller. Everyone I have seen has had their particular way of correcting whatever I have going on. I see Victoria on a regular for tension in my neck and shoulder causing numbness. I have had more immediate relief from my time at M.E than the physical therapy.

Everyone at this Massage Envy location is incredibly kind and helpful! Blake is my massage therapist and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is the most helpful and thorough massage therapist that I’ve ever been to. I feel so much better each time that I get a massage! Blake truly cares about helping others and is a FANTASTIC massage therapist! I am very thankful and blessed to have found this Massage Envy location!!

I have used several of the massage therapists at this location and I find all of them are very good. I’ve used 4 locations in the past as I travel quite a bit and this is by far the highest quality location.

Tracie has ‘magic hands’ only had 60 mins (usually go for 90) .. was so energized afterwards .. will be back again. For sure

The store is clean and quiet, I sometimes go in early just to chill and relax in the waiting room. Always relaxing music. The office staff and management are always very pleasant and very helpful! Roderick is awesome! He always asks what I want in each session and he always gives a great massage! He has just the right touch and I can really tell his mind is always on me and it’s not wandering off somewhere! else. I would give him a 10 out of 10!

I’ve known for a long time that Massage Envy does a good job… and I’m happy to report they’ve improved on good. While it took me a couple months to find a massage therapist that I really enjoyed working with, it was definitely worth the wait! The front desk workers at massage envy were wicked helpful when helping me book appointments with different massage therapists, explaining the different techniques/ pressures each one had. Since getting monthly massages for almost a year now, I’ve had two appointments with Roderick. I can definitely say that he is great to work with, and does an amazing job at listening and targeting the areas that you need help with. He is also a great conversationalist and someone easy going to chat with during your appointment. Alternatively, I’ve also nearly fell asleep on the table mid-massage. Highly recommend booking your next appointment with him if you’re good with medium- firm pressure!

I have been a member with Massage Envy for years and have used services at several locations throughout a few different states. The massage therapist Shawn is by far the best I have ever come across. He is professional, very friendly, well mannered, and very knowledgeable in his modalities. I have been coming to see him for therapeutic massage and over the past few months I have been feeling better than ever. I owe a large part of this to Shawn. Grateful to have met him and cant wait for My next session.

Shania was excellent! It’s been awhile since I’ve treated myself to a massage, and she walked me through the process so kindly. She made sure the areas I had concern about were sufficiently worked, and that the pressure was appropriate. We had a little giggle when she discovered some tough spots, and the convo we had really showed how genuine and kind of a spirit she is. I look forward to seeing her again!Additionally, the front staff were also very kind, informative, and attentive. It made for an excellent experience overall.

Tracie listened to me during the massage in regards to pressure. She helped so many muscle problems!!!!

My massage therapist does a great job, but she routinely cheats me out of time. She began my hour-and-a-half massage after 12:15 and ended at 1:29. If she wasn’t so good at massage, I would use someone else. It’s conflicting.

Had a wonderful facial with Ashley. She was very attentive and tuned in to making my experience great. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a great facial!

MarSheeka is not just good, she is transformative. I have chronic pain in my right shoulder left over from an auto accident 20+ years ago. Well, I did until I started working with MarSheka. Once a month, she maintains that shoulder at low to no pain. A miracle worker!

Dale is the absolute BEST deep tissue therapist I have ever had. He is so intuitive and can simply look at me and know what area(s) to address. I was having huge issues with my walking gait and the glute work he did has resolved that! In my last session, he knew the exact muscles to focus on to help me recover from holiday car travel. He is awesome!

Great Service by Liam, addressed all areas requested with preferred pressure, very knowledgeable and friendly. Followed up from previous visit tense areas.

I had my first massage with Iaisha yesterday. She focussed on my problem and, for the first time in months, I slept comfortably last night. I had questions for her, related to my pain. She gave me an explanation that was easy to understand, while using the anatomical chart in the room. She gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way. So the treatment was pretty comprehensive. My next appointment will be with Iaisha!

Lily did such a great job! I was a little nervous with it being my very first massage but she put me at ease. She is excellent at her job and very sweet.

Very effective massage… I came in for very locked up muscles around my neck and twinges, and Veronica knew exactly where to go to get those worked out. Also having a pleasant massage therapist with a positive attitude toward life adds to the experience.

Bridgette is a gifted massage therapist! If you prefer firm pressure and a high quality massage every visit, I highly recommend her. I also added the 30-minute full body stretch before my massage the last two times and greatly appreciate Bridgette helping me to increase my overall flexibility.Finally, i am new to Massage Envy (started a membership in September) and thankful for their attention to keeping everything running on time.

I got a massage from Dale who specializes in deep tissue massage and it was amazing! It was my first time getting one and he was very informative about how it works and what benefits deep tissue massages have and just all around a great experience. Highly recommend!

Marsheka is the best masseuse in the world!!!! I have been going to her at least monthly for over 3 yrs, and she has been instrumental in helping me manage my pain from arthritis and tight stressed muscles, she does stretching then massage at each session to make sure I receive optimal results. I recommend her services, she is very proficient, and intuitive, and can find exactly where your problem areas are during the massage. She gives great instructions for things to do at home (homework, lol) to keep my joints and muscles in a relaxed state. Her services have immensely improved my quality of life!

Liam was my therapist and he was 100% beyond great! He is very good! He did exactly what I wanted for example towards the end of my session I wanted a whole lot of pressure on my back and he delivered. I cant recommend Liam enough. This was my first visit and will definitely not be my last! PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!!!

She was great! But the headrest was so uncomfortable. I don’t know what was wrong with it, but she said she has been asking for a new one. Please get her a new headrest. It was awful. She helped me with my back and neck aches, but I left with my jaw hurting.

Took me a long time to find the right right massage therapist for me due to all my health issues. Larry was a God send. He knows how to massage my muscles without me hurting for days after, his knowledge of the craft made all the difference for me. Out of 1-10 he’s a 11! I hate to say that because the more people that know about him, the less chance I’ll have trying to get in to see him. He is more than highly recommended!

I havent been to the Cool Springs location in quite a while, but Im so thankful I went! Blake is an excellent therapist! My shoulder and arm pain is completely gone! And Ive made future appointments with him.

I booked an appointment a day before for 8:30pm. I was told I had until 10pm to cancel to avoid a fee and after that I would be charged 50%. All fine right!Well Massage Envy cool springs calls and cancels my appointment at 6:20pm. When I asked how fair this is I was told it’s a company policy and nothing they can do. I therapist called out so yeah!!They had a whole day to call and give me a chance to find someone else but instead they denied me that opportunity.

Had a very relaxing 90-minute massage. I didnt have to wait beyond my appointment time and my therapist was friendly and did a great job. The place was very clean and reception was helpful. 👍

My wife uses Ashley for her monthly facials, and can’t say enough good things about the experience: tells her everything that she’s about to do, massages her head and neck wonderfully during the facial, and generally goes above and beyond to make her feel great. Highly recommended.

Jamie, at the front desk, went above and beyond when Stephanie (facialist) called put 15 minutes before my appointment. He deserves 5 stars. Another facialist came is to fulfill my appointment. She was great too. I hope Stephanie and her emergency are all well, as well.

For the most part the providers here are great. I have used several different therapists and they are all quality. The issue tends to be availability. They only have a few female therapists who do firm massage. It’s maybe a small segment of what people want but it makes it difficult to get any appointments.

Good massage and nice staff. The only thing I did not appreciate was that the room was not ready in time so we got started 15 late and she did not add time on the back end for the late start since it was closing time.so I only received a 45 vs 50 minute massage.

Also have a great experience at this location. It’s easy to get an appointment for a message, even on short notice.

Its not what you say, its how you say it. Even if I hadnt gotten the answer i was looking forI could have left the conversation still having great respect for Massage Envy. Unfortunately that is not the case so Im sharing my experience for future buyers.After nearly 10 years of being a member with massage envy I was spoken to with haste by the assistant manager and without any solution minded approach to my dilemma. I planned to call and speak to the GM but my assumption is the way I was spoken to is a part of the culture and Id rather not submit myself to that any further. If its not, I welcome a call from their office to prove otherwise.Massage envy has conveniences, if youre anywhere you can likely find a location and schedule rather last minute. However, they make money like an insurance company. Hoping you never cash in. I was okay with that and let my credits collect. I liked the premium cost for the convenience. As a result I have 31 total massages available to my name and just wanted an additional 60 days added in hopes to have a couple massages over the next 6 months and to give me time to coordinate child care.I asked for a mild extension on a particular fine print of the contract because of the new stage of life Im in and the inability to get child care easily. Asking for 120 days versus 60 days is all that I was requesting and I was interrupted and cut off and just continually quoted the contract. I was a fan of massage envy prior to this conversation because it was super convenient and I planned to return once my children were in school. I definitely dont recommend it or plan to return any longer.There are other ways to receive massage therapy with a much more customer focused approach.

Massage Therapist Veronica at Cool Springs is by far the best therapist Ive ever had! When I leave there I feel restored, renewed and so much more relaxed. You can tell she cares about her clients wellbeing. She makes sure to focus on your areas of concern. Before I got there my sciatica pain was really bad, but when I left I didnt heve any pain at all! I called the Cool Springs location at 9:26 am and spoke to Kaela. I informed her that I had a 10:30 session, but I was not feeling well so I told her that I needed to reschedule. She informed me that thered be a cancellation fee. I repeatedly asked for her to waive the fee and she refused, stating excuses such as You could have called yesterday, and We have to look out for our therapists. I asked if there was someone who was more willing to assist me and she replied that she was one of the assistant managers. I told her not to cancel my appointment and I hung up. I live about 30 minutes away, so I drove in, checked in, and sat in the tranquility room. Kaela then asked me to come up front, where she told me that due to illness, the therapist would not see me. Kaela said that she would waive the fee this time. At that point, I requested the membership cancelation form, because Kaela could have saved me the drive and waived the fee up front or called me after I told her not to cancel the session to inform me that shed waive the fee.I called another location and was informed that Kaela falsified information and put in the notes that I called not even an hour before my session. The manager at the other location reported that she would not have handled the situation that way, and its unfortunate that Kaela had such a bad attitude.If youre seeking a clinic for your relaxation needs, go elsewhere.

Sometimes its about how you choose to operate your business:I go every week. This week I received a text stating my 90 minute message would need to be changed to a 60 minute and that I could cancel or reschedule. I called to reschedule but was too late to avoid a penalty of half the time allotted. This was fine but the manager Kyla said it would be half of the 90 min vs the 60 minute. I told her the reason I was not coming is that you changed my time to 60 min, she said it was not changed to 60 min in the system and I would be charged on the 90min ????She kept repeating you didnt cancel soon enough - which was not the issue I have- the issue is you changed my time to 60 min vs 90 min that is why I am canceling. I accept the 60 min charge but not the 90.I asked to speak to a supervisor, she then hung up on me!!!! Lol perfect

I booked a massage session for my partner today at the Mallory Lane TN location about a month in advance. I spoke to a representative named Jamie and explained that I wanted this to be a surprise birthday gift for my partner. Jamie told me he had to make a profile with my partner’s information and put my card info on the file. He also told me in order for this birthday gift to work for my partner, he would keep my card information on that profile he made and charge my card at the end of my partner’s session, hence my partner wouldn’t have to worry about payment. Today my partner had her massage and they forced her to pay for it, completely deviating from the plan that was set up with Jamie. Evidently the plan I had discussed with Jamie was never made clear to anyone else working at this Massage Envy location.With that being said, I hope this review helps anyone looking to book a surprise massage for a loved one. Save yourself the trouble and don’t book it with massage envy.
