Helpful staff that made going to a the massage easy for a man. I’ve gone here a few times, each time they are thorough, respectful of time and requests. Clean. Friendly staff, organized, and work with large parties well.

It’s hard to find a good place that gets all of your pressure points. My favorite is Lucy and I’ll probably be going back there for her.I don’t have a long review but I totally recommend. Worth giving it a try!

Possibly one of the worst massage experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a couples massage for my mom and myself as a Christmas gift. My masseuse seemed to be falling asleep at multiple points throughout the massage. I could feel the pressure trailing off as she dozed off, then vigorous rubbing as she woke up and realized she had just been holding onto one of my limbs for 30 seconds. I wasn’t sure she was falling asleep when I was laying on my front, but it happened consistently and I caught her nodding off when I was laying on my back.Aside from that, she seemed to miss every pressure point. A lot of the massage was her rubbing her forearm on my oiled back with no noticeable change in pressure or focus. I left with the same pain that I came in with, plus some new ones.I was given a small 7% discount once I explained my issues to the front desk, plus a rewards card with 3 punches (instead of 2), but I wouldn’t want to come back to take the gamble. I also wasn’t offered a single apology. The only reason I give them 2 stars rather than 1 is because my mom enjoyed her massage.

Love coming here to get my back and foot massages. I’m a creature of habit so when I like a place I continue to go there. I’ve been to Tang Spa for almost two years multiple times a year and have never had a bad experience. The people are kind and the massages feel good not like when you go to a massage parlor and you leave more sore than you left

Had the worst experience here today. My masseuse basically seemed like she was falling asleep while massaging me. I paid for the 60 minute back + 30 minute feet. Back was okay but the last 30 minutes for the foot massage was horrendous. She did not put any pressure even after I asked her to go harder. Her hand motions was like she was casually stroking and then trailing off as if she was falling asleep. Honestly such a bad experience because I came out of the massage more tense than when I went in.

Two stars for the ease of booking and flexibility for being able to come earlier than the original scheduled time.One star for the actual 60 min foot massage. The masseuse stared out the window the whole time, and seemed very disinterested and bothered that she was even there. Tipped her 25% for the awful “massage” and she didn’t even say thanks, just rolled her eyes and looked away.Would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

I came here around 5pm today. I walked in with no appointment and was asked if I had a preference of masseuse and I stated I did not. A gentleman came and accommodated me in my recliner. About 5 minutes into what I thought would be a relaxing experience, the receptionist comes and speaks to him in their language and he stops. He then excuses himself and the receptionist walks away. Not once was I acknowledged or told that I would be changed masseuses nor asked if that was okay with me. I honestly stayed seated because I was exhausted. About two minutes later a new masseuse comes and reluctantly continues the body work. She then asks me when I started. SMH. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. PLEASE TREAT YOUR CLIENTS WITH COURTESY AND RESPECT.I let the lady finish, paid, and tipped. Again, never acknowledged by the receptionist. Rude, rude, rude.I see that I should have booked an appointment and may have avoided a misunderstanding, but it still doesnt account for TRASH customer service.NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER RETURN OR GIVE THIS PLACE ANY RECOMMENDATION.

I was looking ab 7 years to find a good clean place where the price is good, and masseuse can make a really good massage. My friend recommended me this place and I went there first time today.And I really loved it. The massage was really amazing, with hot stones as a complement and they gave me bottle of water couple of times. All masseuses and all personal was very nice and welcoming. And all salon was booked with another customers, which was really surprised me that ppl love this place. So, I definitely wanna come by tomm as well, to take a new massage treatment for my face. And I highly recommend this place who wanna enjoy atmosphere with good ppl where is clean and who wanna get a real massage on your full body and face.Thank you Tang spa!

Tang spa was extremely accommodating and professional. We had 7 in our party that wanted a one hour massage. We made an appointment one day ahead and were able to all be seen at once, on time. The massages were excellent. I highly recommend this spa.

As a frequent customer, Im very disappointed at the service I received today. I usually go for Jojo or Amy as they are a wonderful masseuse and provide a great service. Today, I decided to go get a massage with my friend but we didnt make an appointment so we didnt ask for them. We got a one hour body massage which is $49 and we each both tipped 20% ($10) to our masseuse. They both gave us the dirtiest look and didnt even say thank you! My masseuse went to another masseuse and said only $10. Last I checked, tipping isnt mandatory and after that response, I will not be returning

So amazing! The massage was great and the prices are too! My masseuse was very thorough in the massage even though I could only do 30 minutes this time. The place is clean and has a relaxed ambiance. Staff is professional and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to get a full hour and would love to try reflexology. Bring cash to avoid being charged a processing when paying with card. So worth it!

I was there today and from the first minute of massage I was wishing to finish as soon as possible (thanks god my 1 hour session finished in 45 minutes). The massage lady was very unprofessional, I have pain of my back and left feet after I leave. Instead of relax, rest and heal, that massage made me feel tired, uncomfortable and unsatisfied.

One of the best massage places in south Brooklyn and prices are crazy good. Go to Tony , he’s so so good. I had knots in my back and he removed them all

Great ambiance. The music was very relaxing and the staff were pleasant. The decor is lovely. Great thing is that they take all credit cards! I got a full body massage for one hour for $40! If that were in Manhattan itd probably be twice the price. Highly recommend anyone in the Bay Ridge or Sunset Park area to come here if they want a little self care.

This is a very good massage place, the environment inside is very clean and tidy, and it is very quiet when enjoying the massage. The skills of the staff in the store are also very good. I highly recommend everyone to come.

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and grand-daughter in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and wanted to get ourselves a massage as well as getting one as a gift for our daughter and grand-daughter. We made an appointment for a 90 minute couples session for ourselves, and had Shirley and Wendy as our massage therapists. At the end of our session I shared with Shirley that it was the best massage I have ever had! My husband agreed, and we readily signed up for another session the following day. Both Shirley and Wendy were professional and utilized a variety of techniques that effectively treated the challenges we have due to previous injuries and multiple surgeries. We checked with our grand-daughter and she too indicated she also experienced an excellent massage! We purchased a gift certificate for our daughter, and trust she will find it exceptional as well. We cannot say enough about the cleanliness and effective treatment we received! Thank you so much, Shirley and Wendy! We look forward to making an appointment the next time we are in town. I had visit once when I was pregnant for a foot massage and chair massage and they made a great accommodation for me since I was too big for the chair 😄. I still appreciate it greatly. Honestly its a hidden gem in bay ridge. The owner is super friendly and nice. They always are clean. This Is my go to spot. They dont just have massages they offer premium massage with cbd infused oil And facials. I would give it a six stars if I could !

My boyfriend enjoyed our couples deep tissue massage so much. The masseuse hit every single pressure point , there was even some stretching involve. It was the most soothing massage ive ever gotten. I’ve been waiting for Tang Spa to open back up and they have at long last! New location a couple blocks down but the same great price, service and atmosphere. They have the best therapists and the place is CLEAN and quiet. My absolute favorite affordable massage in ny.

Tang is top notch. The owner is very friendly and accommodated me when I called in for a last minute appointment. The place is clean and spotless. The rooms wall doesnt go all the way up so you can hear a little noise but from the other patons but it was very minimal and didnt take away from the relaxation. I went for an hour of full body massage and the pressure was spot on. It took knots away from areas I didnt know I can have knots. I also appreciate the complementary hot stone and it was a very nice touch. The price is also very reasonable (as 1 hour is only $40). Pls tip your masseuse more than 20% as the massage price is so cheap and they definitely work very hard. This is my first massage since covid as I worry about cleaniness but this place put me at ease and I cant wait to go back.

Dont bother making an appointment, first come first serve, appointment or not. Made an appointment, 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment I ask about my scheduled appointment 20 minutes ago. Girl tells me that they are busy... so am I, that is why I booked an appointment and got here 5 minutes early.Smoke detector has been chirping for at least 2 months. Put a $3 battery in the thing.Its not about service, just about collecting your money.Just to update, the spa did contact me after this and handled this matter very professionally. Sometimes I get nervous about spas these days for obvious reasons but this one put all of my worries to rest. This is a great location. Professional and prompt service. I travel a lot and its difficult to tell which place is worthwhile. This one is. This place is the Popeyes Chicken sandwich of spas. Id wait all day for it.
