Amazing! I work upstairs in the same building and have always wanted to try a service at Mind Body Collective, and I was not disappointed! I saw Alison for a massage and she was wonderful. I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders and upper back, and usually when I get a massage it’s so painful while they’re trying to get my knots out. Alison’s technique was effective AND gentle. I’m not kidding. I was on the verge of passed out the entire time, and when we were finished I felt so loose and knots were completely gone! So good that I bought my boyfriend a gift card for his bday right away. Definitely recommend 🙌🏼

Milo is an incredibly talented healer! From the outset of my one-hour session, they checked in consistently to ensure I was informed and comfortable, immediately helping me feel at ease and ready. The dedicated and intentional space at Brooklyn Mindbody Collective is beautiful and helped facilitate a great session. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Milo over the next few months to delve deeper into my healing journey. In just one session, I made more progress than I had in years of struggling with blockages in other forms of therapy. Thank you Brooklyn mind body collective!! I have received absolutely transformative and healing Rolfing from Chelsey and acupuncture and bodywork from Alison. I’m always impressed by how intuitive and knowledgeable the practioners are, and their work has helped me heal both physically and emotionally! I have received rolfing and bodywork from many practioners and both Chelsey and Alison have far surpassed in their insight, skill, and care for clients. I was new to acupuncture and a bit nervous, but Alison does a great job communicating and letting me feel open to share and work together to determine the best treatment. Combining bodywork with acupuncture feels like such a unique approach that is so relaxing and beneficial. Would love to work with others in the collective! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend the Rolfing & Wellness Collective! I came to Chelsey with chronic lower back pain and within 2 sessions, not only is that pain gone, but she’s given me tools to ensure my body is operating at peak performance. Im halfway through my 10-sessions with Chelsey and my body is noticeably different and functioning/moving in a healthier way. Ive been to a number of massage and physical therapists over the last several years, but Chelseys approach to using Rolfing/Structural Integration along with Thai Massage techniques have been a real game changer for me and the results Ive been seeking for a long time! I took an unlocking the hips course taught by Chelsey and greatly enjoyed it! I learned so much about this area of my body and how to care for it. I had the privilege of getting to know Chelsey not only as a rolfer and Thai bodyworker, but also a practitioner of her newer modality of scar tissue healing and integration.I found Chelsey’s scar work to be a powerful and unique experience that I would recommend to anyone, but especially those who are interested in rejuvenating areas of the body that have been affected by surgery or other traumatic events.Chelsey is a highly experienced bodyworker. So, even though the scar work is a relatively new addition to her repertoire, she brings her many years of experience and vast amount of training to the work. She is also a highly sensitive and creative practitioner. Like a true artist, she uses the techniques as a framework for improvisation, following the body’s cues and placing her attention to where her intuition leads her.The actual scar work is almost deceptively gentle. At several points while Chelsey was working on my scars, her touch was so light that I felt lulled into a state of deep calm. But the gentleness of the manipulations are not indicative of the power of this modality. Even after one session, there was visible and clear change in the appearance of the scars, as well as softening of hardened tissue, and an altered sense of sensation and flexibility in the areas she addressed. She described the work as gently unraveling layers, and it did feel like her attention was re-educating the body to find new energetic, and more inclusive pathways through and around the scar tissue.Even as an energy worker myself I don’t know of any other practitioners who are addressing scar tissue in this way, coaxing it into a state of reintegration with the whole.Working with Chelsey is an opportunity not to be missed!

Ive been seeing Chelsey for the last 2 months and she has been fantastic. Not only to help me recover from a hip injury I sustained over the summer, but also helping to fix general structural issues with my alignment. She uses easy-to-understand language when explaining complex anatomical or functional concepts. She is incredibly knowledgeable and responsive. Between sessions, Ive reached out a couple times to ask follow-up questions about homework assignments or other issues and shes always been available. I was concerned about how this sort therapy would work with COVID-19, and she does an excellent job ensuring that the studio is clean and safe.I would highly recommend Chelsey to help with any structural or alignment issues you might be having. Chelsey has a deep understanding of her practice and is an amazing healer! I leave her sessions feeling lighter, more in tune with my body, and with a feeling of self love. Chelsey is so great to work with. I’ve started doing private yoga sessions with her after completing 10 sessions of Rolfing. I feel like Chelsey really knows how my body functions and creates sequences that challenge me. She also takes the time to answer any questions I have and work through poses and sequences that I have never felt like I truly understood. Chelsey is an incredible practitioner of Structural Integration and yoga. The kind air about her coupled with her confident touch made for an awakening I didnt even fully understand I needed prior to our session. I started my rolfing journey with Chelsey a month ago and our sessions have helped me heal tremendously! I have been dealing with on and off flare ups of tendonitis in my calf, and she has been able to identify the sources of pain, treat them and provide exercises to strength weaker muscles. When I decided to try Rolfing with Chelsey, I Was expecting to be happy with my results. I wasn’t however, expecting to notice results as quickly as I have nor that it would have such a drastic positive effect in my life in such a short period of time.Chelsey is amazing at her work and a wonderful human being. She is truly passionate about her work and her clients. Her amazing energy makes me feel such at ease; she patiently listens and addresses my concerns more than any Doctor ever has.After our first session, my body changed completely. Daily autonomic functions and second nature tasks that usually go unnoticed, have become noticeably effortless, such as exercising, walking, sitting and breathing! Yes! Breathing! My confidence has increased as I no longer feel self-conscious about certain aspects of my body that she has corrected, and my posture.I am now on my 6th session of the 10 series “Recipe”. Chelsey is the best!! I see her for both yoga and rolfing and I can’t get enough! She always makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed, and has such a positive calming energy. I started seeing her for rolfing, which has been one of the most helpful things for my back and neck pain. Chelsey knows so much about the human body, and really works to figure out exactly what you’ll need to feel your best. I always feel so amazing after a session with her! My bodywork appointments with Chelsey were great. Having already done the 10 series some years ago, I went to her for a ‘tune-up’ on lingering issues around flexibility, mobility and muscle tension. She was great at isolating the root causes and addressing them efficiently. I observed a notable all-around improvement over the course of the 5 sessions and in the following weeks. I would highly recommend Chelsey’s work and look forward to going back for more myself.

She was very good at helping me with fine alignments and answering my questions on standard sequences, and I particularly liked her confident and strong approach with hands-on assists. I found her guidance very helpful with the more advanced poses Im working toward, and I made good progress on them with her. Id still be working with her if she was still here in Colorado. During and after my 10 sessions of Rolfing with Chelsey, I noticed my body changing. My long term chronic muscle tension and pain especially in my upper back and shoulders seemed to melt away. A distinct sign that her work helped me is that I used to feel like I needed a massage all the time. After the Rolfing it was like, a massage would be nice but I don’t need it. Her space is comfortable and manner professional and sensitive. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Though the work was sometimes intense, it was never painful. My body is very grateful! I highly recommend Chelsey for Rolfing—it will make you more aware of your body structure and unique compensations and this awareness can change your life.

I completed a 10 series with Chelsey. I had been suffering from chronic neck and shoulder pain for over 6 years after going through a really stressful time in my life. I had done Rolfing in the past, but could never afford to do an entire 10 series. Chelsey offers a very reasonable rate and I found her to be an amazing practitioner. She is very intuitive and sensitive and bright. Very knowledgeable across several practices, including yoga. I think its supremely important to feel safe and trust your practitioner and her calm and warm demeanor put me at ease during our sessions. I have had such a healing in my body. I feel lighter and more grounded, I have more energy and my neck and shoulders feel transformed. I still get occasional stiffness from overdoing it in life, but nothing compared to the constant annoying pain i had been living with. I recommend rolfing and especially Chelsey. Shes amazing

Chelsey is amazing! She analyzed my body and targeted my problematic spots. I had not understood what Rolfing was until I experienced it. I am a hair stylist so back and sciatic problems are common. Chelsey is an incredibly talented rolfing practitioner and yoga instructor. I would highly recommend her to anyone suffering from any type of ongoing or chronic pain issues or if you are feeling your body is out of alignment (which is the case for most of us). I first met Chelsey taking her yin yoga classes, which were excellent. At the time, I was suffering from chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain. Although I was getting massages, they would only give me temporary relief, and the pain would return. I did a 10 sessions of rolfing with Chelsey, where she focused on different parts of my body and experienced major relief after each session. I released a lot of tension throughout various parts of my body (that I didnt even know I was holding onto), let go of the back & neck pain, increased mobility & flexibility, felt more grounded & connected, and even lost excess weight which I had been holding onto. I did a yoga retreat when I had completed most of the sessions, and I was surprised at how much I was able to do, and I really credit the rolfing for it. I had been scared of rolfing because I had heard it was terribly painful, but Chelsey is a gentle & talented practitioner and healer. So, yes, at times it can be painful but Chelsey is very sensitive and responsive and makes sure to never push your body too much. It has been 1 year since I had started the rolfing, and I am still feeling the positive effects and benefits. To describe Rolfing (which I’ve attempted to do with friends) is difficult because it’s such an individual experience. The best I can do is explain my own experience. I had been a patron of massage and chiropractic therapies since I was a child. I’ve long been an advocate of this kind of self care. Rolfing is different.Each time I leave a session with Chelsey, #1, I feel the physical benefit in the area she worked and 2, I always leave with a greater understanding of function of the area we worked on that day. Chelsey helps with my awareness which I think is the “homework” of helping her to help me to get to a place of long term comfort and balance.I also like to think that I am learning how to undo years of habits caused by occupation, emotion and just life.

I started private yoga sessions with Kathleen in April of 2020 as a complete newbie. In less than five months I saw a dramatic improvement in my posture as well as my energy levels and mental health. She is a phenomenal instructor who is willing to tailor sessions to her clients individual needs and can roll with the punches when I say hey, I dont think I can handle anything more difficult than stretches and restorative poses today, or you know, this morning I want something fast paced that will make me sweat. Starting sessions with Kathleen was one of the best decisions Ive made for my wellbeing in 2020, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her private classes, particularly for newbies, people with limited mobility, or for those to whom big group classes seem daunting.

Chelsey is the real deal. I started seeing Chelsey a few months ago for the Rolfing 10 series to address chronic upper back pain and posture issues. I heard about Rolfing and how it is able to work with the fascia in a deeper way that traditional massages werent able to address. Chelsey is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and looks at it holistically and how all of the different parts impact the whole. She is so intuitive--she senses minute changes and shifts in my body and I am constantly astounded by the way my body has responded to her touch. She is kind, a compassionate listener, gentle, and is able to understand what her client needs. Not only do I feel better in my body but our work together in the series has help me become more embodied in general. I notice where I hold habitual patterns and tension, and how this shows up in my life emotionally and the way I hold myself. There are places that you just cant go with talk therapy. If you have been struggling with pain or just want to get some good bodywork, RUN TO CHELSEY! She is an incredibly bodyworker and magic maker.

Chelsea is great. i’ve been doing massage for 20 years and I’ve gotten work from various rolfers over the years. I had a great session with Chelsea- I have been having some achilles tendonitis and she really focused in on my calf. She did a great job of talking to me before the session and planning exactly what get to in the session. Her work was very 3-dimensional- she approached the muscles from many different angles to really get them fully open. She also had a great sense of pressure. Rolfing can definitely be super intense, but I felt she kept it within the “hurt so good” range that I could still breathe through and relax. I left feeling much more aligned and open.

Chelsey is a perceptive and highly skilled healer: she has an easy, down-to-earth manner and knows a lot about the body—both intuitively and scientifically. I came to her at a physically and emotionally exhausting time in my life. We had ten sessions together: that process had a profound impact on me in many ways and helped me see patterns in my own body and habits of movement that I didn’t see (or couldn’t) change in 20 years of yoga. Great experience with Chelsea. I was referred by a friend and have been to see her twice. Shes like a body whisperer! She can identify problematic areas and has a very unique way of addressing. This is my first experience with Rolfing and highly recommend! She is definitely worth a visit.

Chelsey is a wonderful practitioner and I highly recommend her. She has a calm and judgement-free demeanor, listens patiently, and is highly attentive. Her technical skills, attention to the physical tissue, and intuition make for a phenomenal session that opens up deep patterns of restriction. She focuses and listens to the response in the body and she works, and despite the structured nature of early rolfing sessions, is also able to improvise to work with the unique needs of the body at hand. She has a calm presence that never feels rushed, waiting for the body to respond and working at the pace it needs. She also picked up on subtle patterns of imbalance without me mentioning them. Afterwards my walk felt lighter in a way I didnt know it could, and my breath felt deeper into areas I couldnt reach prior to our session. As a healthcare professional I would definitely recommend patients see Chelsey.

I didnt know what Rolfing was but decided to give it a try, and Im happy I did. My body feels different after just a couple of sessions. I work as a waitress and I used to have intense pain in my feet and back after work, those pains are either gone or have decreased in severity. Chelsey has something special in her energy and her hands.
