This was my third visit to Edisons. My only complaint would be the service. It sometimes took a while to get served, as well as both bartenders completely forgot I had put in a drink order which I never got. I ended up taking that as a sign from the Universe it was time to venture back to my hotel! 😅That aside, Edisons is my favorite LGBTQ+ spot in Buffalo. The staff and other patrons were very nice and the bar always looked clean. They had popcorn and played different movies and music videos on the TVs. I felt welcomed and a sense of belonging which isnt something Ive ever felt living in Philly for the past 20 years.
Cute safe spot in Downtown/Allentown. The staff is great. Drinks are reasonably priced. Its a charming and cute environment. I Was there the other night with some good friends and had a fantastic time. I just moved back home and found this new place. Love the atmosphere. Will be back soon!
Great space in the heart of Allentown. The lighting and coziness is fantastic. Its a great spot to chill and connect in a more intimate setting than some of the other wilder Lgbtq+ spots. Its a great place to start your night off and meet up with friends or end the night for a nice nightcap. Theres a cozy back area with intimate lighting and exotic leather couches to converse more privately. The Owners and staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed.Theyre able to craft bougie drinks without a ritzy price point. This is a relatively new gay spot in Buffalo. Im Definitely going back, and if youre not sure where to go on any given night give em a try. Youll be just as satisfied as I.
So I just will update this now. I had a two star review, I didnt say anything. But I dont know what any of this response is. Therefore Im changing it to a 1 star with this description.Kitchen account? I simply dont like this bar because it has horrible music, no one goes there, and there is a lot of discrimination that goes on with employees and the owner...This is kind of a weird response to a negative review that put no information on it. But heres the truth. At this bar, after one drink youll be paying about $10 when you tip your bartender, and its not worth it when you can go right next door to an actual lgbtq safe space, where the owners care.Oddly enough, I gave it to two star rating. If anything of what he said was true, youd expect a one-star rating like half the other people here...
It smells like backed up sewer in the corner by the bar, there is now food as advertised, and they play 70s music and sometimes racist old movies on the TV to the left of the bar. Granted they are just old movies. But things like that shouldnt be playing in our safe spaces.Im also deeply concerned by these past reviews. The responses by the owner seem reactive and not becoming of am establishment owner.**** I edited my review tonight after watching patron get harassed by the BPD. I changed it to a one star because the owner of the bar called the police on this person for being legally parked outside of his bar, but patronizing another establishment. He made up fictitious claims against him regarding a warrant that never existed. Is this what you want in a bar?***Another update after the response from the business owner on here, you can see the mans actions publicly. Everything he says here highlights when you should never go to this bar. Im not the only person he called out here improperly. Accusing me of being some random person. How ridiculous.
Hi everyone Im Chris Armeli for your information. I have no idea why this owner keeps responding to others flipping out over my 1 star review here. I made no statement here. Just left a 1 star. Seems to be a breaking point for this owner, clearly highlighting why this bar is bad to go to...----------You do realize, the only thing youre accomplishing here is making yourself look ridiculous on Google, correct? 😂 You can call me names for leaving you this bad review all you want, but in your diluted mind, you believe the whole world is out to get you and the whole world is me. All youre doing, is making new customers run from your bar when they see this... 🤷 Thats why youre just breaking even, and being investigated by the liquor authority. 👏
David and Johnathan are wonderful! The staff are on point and accommodate everyone that comes into what I consider a very safe space.I Definitely get a family feeling Atmosphere.I wish you continued success.💯♥️😍
This place has so much character and charm..you feel welcomed the moment you walk in and the bartenders are so friendly and fun. If your looking for an all inclusive space and a great drink dont miss this place ! Thanks for a great time Edisons !!
Edison’s is a fun and welcomed new bar in the community. I love the themed nights and the fun and friendly staff. The ambiance is classy and casual and great place for friends or a date!
Not a fan. I shouldnt have to walk in and hear the owner complaining about other patrons and such. Just a bad vibe and rude. Seems like a clicky place and full of drama.Edit: I have no idea what this owner is talking about. This is some crazy stuff... 🤷
Weird response, but ok. I didnt like the bar because of price. Now I dont like it because of this owner. Who is Chris Armeli? 😂
The music is horrible. All day 70s music. You have to pay to hear quality music on the Jukebox. Nope, not for me!
Best LGBTQ+ new place in the heart of Downtown, Buffalo NY. Definitely a hidden gem to check out.
Had such a great experience!!! Awesome drinks, Hayden took care of us and he was so sweet and personable!
