Lovely spa

A huge Mistake!!!!!! I didn’t enjoy my experience. I was left in the room by myself most of the time. In stead of a relaxing and peaceful spa I was laying down by myself waiting for the specialist to jump in the room and touch my face. She was working on two people at the same time. I’m not even sure if she was washing her hands between clients. It was very disappointing. And the price was overpriced for the service and experience. After the visit was over I paid for the service and the guy at the front desk attacked me for not leaving a tip. As if it’s mandatory whether the service was worth tipping or not. I will not go back or recommend anyone to go there.

It was an amazing experience! I had the most fantastic foot massage, full body massage, and facial that left me feeling like a new person. Gigi was not just fantastic but also gave very helpful tips for helping to get my acne under control. Cant recommend enough!

I had the most wonderful relaxing deep tissue massage from Chichi! I am so grateful for the care and attention provided. I had been experiencing excruciating shoulder pain for the past 2 weeks and she helped me to loosen and relax my muscles, my shoulders feel amazing now! I definitely recommend.

AMAZING massage from Emy!Today was my first time to go Lovely spa massage I call them the speak to me very friendly and i gat my appointment 5:30pm i think her name was Emy, She really knows the body, muscles, and understands what and how certain habits i.e. bad posture, etc. She has deep knowledge of how the body works. As a therapist, she is empathetic to your issues and how to overcome them. She follows up with you with exercises, stretches, or tools for you to use to improve your health. Besides being a gifted therapist, Emy is caring and positive. She has helped me fully recover from my back pains. I have never in my life had such a perfect massage. I am most definitely going back. Thank you. #Lovely spa

DO NOT USE, Not professionalThey try to get your money before you have a bad experience by making you pay firstInsists on tip, which I did because I felt bad and everyone deserves to make a living wageHowever, Amy has not a clue what she is doing, she needs education, training, and lessons on how to give a massage.I tried to provide customer feedback/critical feedback to manager, they did not careThe door to massage room was always cracked open, massage therapist left multiple times to talk with clients/employees at the front deskThey blasted music at the front desk, the room was draftyIf you have any experience at receiving massages, YOU WILL BE DisappointedAmy, you do not know what you are doing when giving massages, please please please seek out lessons/education and then I think you could be decent maybe even great at giving massages. I do believe in you, but you need proper lessons and then I think you can have a thriving massage therapy business.

Had the couples massage, they were actually successful in realsing tension that he has for a long time.

Well...I started to have Tony as my hair stylist during the pandemic due to the recommendation from my friend. Basically, Tony was the best hair stylist I have ever met in Boston despite I have tried many stylists before. Moreover, not only his unique standard of identifying the beauty, but also his remarkable skills acted as a light in the dark night, illuminated me from struggling with selecting the most appropriate hair style.Another staff whose name is Amy worked here as massagist. She provided terrific services which are aimed to reduce the pain. In fact, not only her elegant personality, but also her professional skills that were performed in this relaxed period of time made me not to suffer from the injury.Overall, this place is nice and clean. The atmosphere here attracted many consumers from Boston.

EDIT: downgrading to a 2 because the owner saw my review stating that I was overcharged for my service and didnt do anything to even attempt to refund me.The reviews here looked solid so I took a shot at this place but just wasn’t impressed. Scheduling an appointment over the phone was difficult, the woman could not understand what I was asking for and then instead of confirming my time slot over the phone she said I’d hear from them before my appointment? I then got a text message confirming the service, date and time, so whatever, weird intro. When I got to the spa and told them I had a reservation, they had no clue what my service was, even though my text had confirmed the 2 hour couples massage I had booked. I told the woman again what we were getting, but when we got to the room she asked who wanted to go first, which was a bit strange to have just one masseuse for a couples massage... the second masseuse showed up about 10-15 minutes in, so I guess better than never. My boyfriend and I were running early, so maybe this was the reason, but there was no communication whatsoever about needing to wait for the second woman. After all of this, the massage only lasted one hour, even though I had booked a 2 hour. The women both just stopped, and after some earlier language barrier problems I didn’t even attempt to try and remind them about the extra hour I’d booked. Once we were paying, the woman accidentally overcharged my card, telling me she accidentally put $180 when it should have been $160. Now that I’m looking at their rates again I when writing this review, the hour couples massage should have only been $145, so another thing that got messed up. The massage itself was good, but all of these other hiccups really took away from the relaxing experience I wanted.

I had an excellent massage with Amy today. She was nice to talk to, incredibly intentional about my comfort, and skilled as a masseuse. I would absolutely recommend, and Ill certainly be visiting them again.

My husband and I went for a couples massage. Very kind and helpful staff. Overall good experience. They were very professional and made us very comfortable. I went in with a slight headache and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. We would definitely come here again in the future.

I booked an appointment online for a $80/90 min facial that includes eyebrows shaping & hot stone eye massage (L1). None of those l mentioned above were done, simply because my eyebrows were already waxed and l wear contact lenses.I paid beforehand, but they did not give me a discount, even though they were aware l wasnt going to get the full package treatment.The facial was over 15 min earlier and l was pretty much forced, by the front cashier, to tip 20% when l wanted to only give 15%. The tip is up to me to decide and the fact that she was so persistent, annoyed my whole experience! Beware of these money-hungry people.

Called Lovely Spa this past Sunday and they eagerly accepted a same day reservation for a massage. Both the staff and the reception area were very professional and the massage rooms were very clean and relaxing. The massage itself was absolutely incredible!! Ive gotten about a dozen massages over the past few years while on vacations at high-end resorts and a few other places in the area and I have to say that I think this may have been the best massage Ive ever gotten. The masseuse (SaSa) checked multiple times to ensure the pressure was right and was sure to pay attention to the trouble areas I mentioned. Cant wait to go back!

Went for a couples massage and it was amazing! Everyone was really nice and they did a great job! I booked the wrong time online and then called to correct it and they were really understanding and changed the appointment with no problems! Would definitely go back.

Before the massage the receptionist asked us if we will tip by cash or card and if we wanted to tip before or after the massage. We said after. After the massage we tipped the receptionist, but she suggested a higher tip amount for us and tried to pressure us into paying it. I felt both actions were strange and intrusive. The massage was nice, but the receptionist soured the experience. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Ugh. They are money-grubbing and they are sloppy. Bad combo.I asked for a thai massage for one hour. The first guy clearly had a cold, and I asked him to stop and send in someone else after he kept coughing.Then, he sent in a girl. She did a Swedish massage for the remainder of the hour, and didnt even finish my whole body (she only did one leg). Then she asked if I wanted more time. I said yes, so she finished the Swedish massage, apparently realized that she forgot that it was a Thai massage, then quickly went through the motions of a Thai massage before telling me I was done.So I ended up paying $115 for what was basically a one hour Swedish massage. Not great.

Chose this place blindly after moving to the area. I have had two great massages with Tony and I’ll keep coming back! Clean place and relaxing atmosphere. I booked same-day both times with no issue.

Really bad… tools that are being used are so simple and old. Too pricey for the quality. Blow dry was not done well, nor did they have any oil to put at the hair ends after the cut/dry..

A very disappointing experience. I went there for waxing today and the lady did a very shabby job. When I showed her the areas that evidently needed to be waxed, she said she had another customer waiting to be attended and that I should come back later and refused to do anything about the problem.A big waste of time and money. Would not recommend this place ever.Because there was a customer waiting and I insisted she gave me some minimal discount though.

Just visited and had a great experience. It was super easy to make an appointment by the phone, Amy was terrific, no wasted time, and I feel so much better than when I walked in with crazy neck pain. Recommend!

Today I had a massage from a new young employee named Sharon. She was amazing. I have had back pain my whole life, but I feel great now. Truly amazing.

Amazing service. Great massage and hair cut. The hair treatment was perfect, suggested by the pro. Highly recommend and I will be back!

As soon as I walked in, they asked me to pay beforehand and they put my card in. The place is run down and not clean. From the massage room, I could easily hear the man and his friend at the front desk chatting loudly and blasting pop music. There was just a slim door separating the massage room from this. Then the masseuse starting digging in with her elbows after I requested medium pressure and I said ow and asked her to stop 5+ times. Not only did she not go easier like I requested but she teased saying “you’re weak! You can’t take a real massage!” As she moved onto other sections, she pushed super hard for each one and despite dozens of requests to alleviate pressure and go gentler, she’d laugh and then continue. Im covered in bruises and am limping from where she pulled my foot in the opposite direction and stuck her knuckles in hard despite my asking her to ease up. I do not bruise easily so this is saying something. When I went to add the tip afterwards, the masseuse kept insisting I give a higher tip by saying she’s only paid $25 for an hour massage and that the owner keeps the rest. I tipped her because she deserves a living wage but I will never return.

Hands down the worst massage I have ever received. The masseuse seemed to have no idea what she was doing. It was so weird and a waste of time and money.

I live in a neighborhood and I said let me try this place out the place is a fantastic place its wholesome the people are real friendly my experience has been with them and now Im going to put them on my weekly schedule because thats how great they are the facials are amazing that I dont want to mention the ladys name and public by the facials Im telling you male or female have a facial unbelievable and I had a massage which was unbelievable and the folks are professionals at what they do especially the lady I asked you very professional I know that pressure points everything they know about the anatomy very knowledgeable I will keep them on my path unequivocally God bless have a great day

Gigi does the best facials. my skin always looks radiant after i see her. i make it a point to go once a month now.
