Great place to stop and grab a drink at. Great atmosphere a few games in the back to play. Plenty of space to lounge out in plenty of seating. Just be sure to be there before the crowd hits cause it can get packed at times but that just goes to shoe how nice thus place is

My recent visit to Khartrum Bar in Campbell was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon attempting to engage with bartender Nikki for service, I was met with appalling aggression and unprofessionalism that left me shaken and deeply disappointed.Nikkis behavior went beyond rude; it was downright hostile. She began yelling and even resorted to throwing lemon and ice at me, actions that were disgracefully captured on the bars security cameras. Feeling utterly disrespected and unsafe, I couldnt believe the lack of professionalism displayed.This experience was a stark reminder of the importance of customer service and basic human decency. Khartrum Bar failed miserably in this regard, and I strongly caution against patronizing an establishment that allows such behavior from its staff. Save yourself the trouble and seek out venues where customers are treated with respect and courtesy.Doesn’t Matter what I did, at the end of the story she was attacked me by throwing ice and lemon on me, then I kicked out from the bar because she “said”. I’m not gonna come back and I’m gonna fill complain in the license.

I dont drink but my friends like to go here so I will go with them. I always have a good time. Its a fun environment. They have alcohol, music, TVs, and karaoke. What else does a bar need? They dont have the shuffleboard table anymore so thats a bummer. The bathroom was a disaster.

It is a fun place to meet friends and get a couple drinks. It has always seem to be the same type of place, even through all its outside remodeling. No more shuffleboard though, so that sucks. The staff is usually really nice and the crowd is usually a good size depending on what night you are there. Hit it up to check it out if you are drinking a night in dt campbell, just dont expect anything amazing or different/new.

The security guy, named Jordan, was very unpolite to everybody in the group, and didn’t let two friends get in, without motivation. They were without their ids, but were going back to the hotel to pick it up. But Jordan said that even with their ids, he would not let them in, as they were “unpolite to him”. And that was a lie. It seems that they just don’t care or need clients. Do not recommend to anyone.

I think this is one of the only places in Campbell that I would invite people to come out to as the Irish pub gets overly crowded and the bar is impossible to get a drink from. The spot that calls them selves a dance club usually has a lot of fights and overpriced VIP section. And of course the cave plays so much house, techno and electronica you would think you were at a rave without the fun lights and drugs.Khartoum has the best venue for sports, karaoke and drinks in a fun relaxing environment.

Pretty good for what it is. A slightly nicer version of a dive bar. Irish themed. The crowd was mainly on the older side until about 10pm, then some late twenties to thirties came in. Variety of seating options including soft seating, round high top tables, long high top table for larger party.Slightly hidden inside what looks like maybe a mixed office building

My friend got kicked out because the security guard said she was dozing off in the lounge but she was at the bar the whole time. The security guard’s name is Estaban. I will never go to this bar again. It is boring and the security guards are on a power trip. The bar is so boring that no one is dancing. Do not go here if you’re trying to have a fun night.

Went last night, the one bouncer was incredibly rude and the other bouncers just stood around as he spoke to us awfully. So unbelievable they let their employees talk to people that way, tried to give them a chance after everything happened with the bartender adding things into girl’s drinks, will not be going back! Do not go if you are a women, you’ll feel super unsafe.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My son is on the spectrum and 21. He has a medical condition and has lost weight since receiving his real ID. The bartenders were incredibly rude and I felt a sense of prejudice. Even with my California ID as a parent, they did not acknowledge me. Worst experience and I was worried they would take my son’s government issued ID. They tried to intimidate me and my son.

Questionable - second time at this establishment. The restroom reeked of vomit. While finishing my beverage, I was told by security the place was closed at 1:45 and needed to leave. I ask how it could be when the website said 2am. They have a jukebox (TouchTunes) that allows you to play music thru an app on your phone. I placed money on the jukebox at midnight and never heard my songs play. The security was a little aggressive and accused me of arguing when I only requested clarification of the closing time. I explained my concern because I paid to play music and never heard the songs. The bar manager took my information and claims someone may credit me for the jukebox money. I had hopes this would be my new dive bar but a security officer with attitude without cause does make for a pleasant place. I will update If i hear back from establishment.

This bar is one of a kind with the people and the vibes.. I love going on a wednesday or thursday its karaoke night and it gets pretty fun. Weekend can get a bit too much cause people in general. The drinks are great though. Service is good and you will meet some new friends if thats what you are looking for. Theres darts, foosball, couches, and something kinda fun. There are 13 hidden dolphins in the bar. Whether it be in stained glass or not. Kinda cool little game. (I still havent found them all and its been years! Lol

This place is crowded all the time.One of the few places open late in Campbell which is why we end up there but we always regret it. The bartenders over serve people, so theres always someone throwing up or people fighting. The security is clearly untrained and on different pages randomly throwing people out, randomly letting people in. Dont waste your time or money there. Unless you like feeling unsafe and having sweaty gross men touch you every chance they get.Also, Im not sure how this bar even has this many stars on here but if you need more proof of how bad this place is, you can find those reviews on Yelp.

This place is so great. Best vibe. Great energy. Bartenders top notch. And the renovation they did recently adds so much to the vibe. Perfect place to grab a drink when you’re spending an evening in downtown Campbell.

Best bar in the San Jose region - doesn’t matter what you’re looking for - they always have the correct games on their TVs which is a big pet peeve of mine for other bars, drinks are on point, and they just put in these ridiculously comfortable leather couches all around, 100% recommend.

Our experience was GREAT!! The Staff, Security and Bartenders great and quick with serving up everyone for it to be so crowded, wanna give a shot out Shileah and Jared from the basketball park for making sure our experience was superb and also to guy with the BIG mustache who found our phones Thank You we owe you one! Okay, Im going to say it... I miss Boswells. But, this place is still in the family, its larger and has better couches. For the 10-plus years I lived in Campbell, Khartoum was the mystery location that always had the just sit back and enjoy your drink vibe. Once Davys Karaoke re-established itself there Wednesdays/Thursdays, it became my new favorite in Campbell. If you want DJd house music on weekends, go to the Diff, but if youre like me hang out at Khartoum. Theyve got a great selection from well to top shelf, and the hardest-working bartenders in South Valley. While youre there, tip well and raise a glass to Kelly.EDIT 8/30/23 - dropped by for karaoke with DJ Davey, just a reminder that Wednesday nights are usually the quiet night that are best for dropping some talent and getting out while no ones listening 😂Its a great place to just hang out with a drink and maybe a good friend or 3, just make sure your ID is 1) up to date and 2) with you at all times.

This place is pretty cool. The best thing I love about it are the couches. Lay back on a couch and chill, thats exactly what I wanna do when drinking after a hard days work, especially drinking a lot. Beer was cheap, bartender was attentive, really cool place. Plus they played a lot of rock. ( DEFTONES, my favorite) Will definitely make it back to that spot.

Had the most lit night of my life. Vodka reddies were insanely good. We would like to inherit this place cause it’s so lit. The guy in the bathroom was wild but cool. The only complaint is that the Moscow mule was just vodka no mule but it treated my friend right and she got super lit. Well trained security they how to pick you up when you fall down. Tuesday nights (@ 7:30) are trivia nights. Its not easy, so bring a friend or two. The bartenders do a great job of keeping up with the drink orders! As always, the couches and stained glass make for a comfy atmosphere (but when are they gonna finish working on the ceiling?)

A good bar, security is really nice. However it gets PACKED. It gets impossible to order on some nights. And if you want to move to a less packed area of the bar, have fun pushing through a crowd. And if you grew up in this area, every weekend is like an unwanted high school reunion...

Decent dive-like bar with interesting furniture. Karaoke is only Wednesday and Thursday though in the past I swear it was on Fridays. On Saturday it was pretty dead.. given no karaoke and theres tons of construction outside right now. Maybe it will be better after. Rum and soda cost $10 which seems steep especially for this place. The bartender was nice. Jello shots 2 for $5.. interesting! We didnt stay long but had fun at karaoke in the past.

Comfy hangout spot with lots of leather sofas and tvs surrounding the whole place. clean bathrooms though they needed to refill the paper. good variety of beers. dimly lit, huge bar with their own parking lot. enjoyed the decor too, filled the walls and comforting space. would go back to hang out with friends while catching a game on TV!

It is a very overcrowded Dive Bar where you have to push people aside to get through. It wasnt until I was already in the place was way over crowded that the person checking IDs in the front of the bar would even count how many people were going in. I felt like I was being pushed around. The only reason why Im giving at least two stars is that the bartender was a very nice lady and really was working the bar well. There needs to be a way for the person letting people in to track how many are going in because I think it was way past Max Capacity

The atmosphere is great, as is the service. There are so many spots to hang out, and if you get cozy and dont want to head to the bar, just wait - a waiter will come and ask if you would like drinks. Sometimes the music isnt the best for dancing, but it can get better. This is a great place to spend New Years as well.

Excellent decor, a lot of space on the bar and on couches. Sports bar during the day with multiple large screens. Older regulars earlier in the day and $4 drafts/well happy hour until 7. Active young beautiful manager and the friendliest of bartenders. Younger tech crowd arrives later in the night. Story: I do non-profit goodie type stuff and a younger woman sits next to me one day and goes into how she does not get nice guys and basically they can go to hell. Then asks me what my story is.

Our bartender was great, the bouncers and bus boy have serious attitude problems. I hope the owner is okay with losing money because of their attitudes and sensitive egos.

What a place. Came every Thursday for karaoke religiously while working in San Jose. We had a blast every time we made our way out here.

Great place to hang out and snag a few drinks. No pool table or recreation but they do have a jukebox and contemporary feel. My boyfriends friend is security so this might be a little biased, but in my opinion the service is great.

Khartoum is generally a place you go when you want a fun, casual night out surrounded by 20-somethings. Overall a really good bar with fair prices, friendly bartenders and bouncers, and many seating areas.But New Years Eve stands out. They didnt charge cover (easily could have) and had balloons + fun hats and noise-makers all over the place. They also had a DJ, just before midnight handed out sparling wine for FREE like crazy, and even did a balloon drop when Jan 1 rolled around. They went above and beyond which contributed to an awesome transition into 2020.This bar is a fantastic part of the Campbell community.

This is my favorite sports bar in Campbell. It has lots of rich, deep, comfortable leather chairs and couches reminiscent of olde English manors. Khartoum has a dozen wall mounted TVs that let you can watch all NFL games at the same time. Football fans feel like a kid at Disneyland during football season. Nice bar and friendly service. While they dont normally serve food, they often have free pizza or chicken wings during games.

A great place to visit and socialize with many locals both young and old in the Campbell area. Campbell of the late 90s had many bars that advertised to all and over the years most have shut down. This is one establishment that has ridden the tides of change and overcome. Place to be seen. My new favorite with Cardiff lounge in downtown Campbell.

Service was good. But the bars security should not be rushing the customers out before 2AM. One security man snatched my drink before I could finish it. I paid for my drink. I would like to have time to finish my drink as long as I am out of the bar by 2AM.

A hidden gem, how many times have you driven past the Cannery in Campbell and not realized there was a bar there. Karthoum is the Cheers of Campbell, funky furnishings, friendly staff, several rotating taps, tap takeovers etc.. Just stay away until 8pm, so I can enjoy it

Best bar in town! Great environment for the younger crowd lots of seating and long bar. Not over priced drinks. I go for the awesome karaoke Thursdays.

This is a local spot hands down. Lots of screens for sports, but I wouldnt say its a sports bar. Combination of couches, old furniture, tall bar tables and regular height too. They dont serve food here but you can bring in your own, on occasion they buy some pizzas or have a local bbqing out on the sidewalk. The Green Bay Packers have their meet up here in but its in a private-ish back room so no worries there. Lots of different events throughout the week:music, comedy, etc.

Never been a fan of Khartoum. Naturally its just a dive bar. No real dance floor, just meet and greet and having drinks. More or less youll find the same type of young people there.

Its a cool place with all the decorations, mixed drinks are not good. So if you care about how your cocktail taste like then just others something like wine or beer.

Campbell institution that will soon close its doors (if it hasnt already). Dive bar that Ive frequented for over 30 years. It was usually my starting rendezvous point to an evening of bar hopping with friends. Well, it was good while it lasted.

Decent bar with lots of room inside, they also do occasional tap takeovers from Craft breweries. Staff is friendly, helpful, and knows how to make a good drink.

I went around 5:30 and I gotta say its a great place to relax and kickback after work. Lots of couches and plenty of drinks. No food though but there are plenty of places very close by that can help you out if need be.
