1 was quoted a 60 min massage. Screenshots from phone confirm 50 mins.2 my wife and I booked together. My wifes therapist called off and they cancelled her appointment. They would not cancel mine without charing full price as if I was there. So I was forced to have a massage I could not enjoy knowing my wife would not be able to enjoy also. I asked the manager at the counter she refused to make any exception even though both massages were in the same name3 got there a half hour early but massage still started late. Lobby was empty for several minutes when we arrived. Pictures includedThere are lots of places to get a massage. This isnt it. Management has bad business practices.Edit. I cant respond to your response but a refund would be appropriate here. Its not like you dont have my phone#.
Amanda is amazing. I have been getting weekly massages for over 10 years at various establishments. When she has openings, which is not very often, Amanda at Massage Envy is at the top of my list of ‘go-to’ therapists. Thanks for all you do. My left hip thanks you!
Just had the best massage from Jennifer in Canton! I’ve tried so many therapists lately and haven’t been happy until now. She did deep tissue where I needed it and had me SO relaxed for the rest. Highly recommend her!
Terrible experience for both me and my fiancé. We were going for a massage to relax us before our wedding and this did the exact opposite. Massage was supposed to be an hour long, and it was only 40min. They didn’t even get through the whole body and staff didn’t seem phased when asked why it was less time than it should be, yet still charged us the full amount. Both my fiancé and I actually feel like there is more tightness than any form of relief, and are frequent massage goers. REALLY disappointing.
My coworkers and I bought a gift card for our coworker who is pregnant with twins for her birthday. She called this location to setup and appointment for here massage but was told they have a policy of only being able to give massages to women who are 15 weeks pregnant or less. She was told they could not help her if she couldnt lay on her stomach. We were upset because we chose Massage Envy because they advertised the prenatal massage on their website. We called the Northville location, they stated they have never heard of a 15-week policy. They said they would work with her about laying on her back and side. They also said they have pregnancy pillows she can use so she can lay on her stomach. They explained they have helped women who were a few weeks or even days away from giving birth. I hope Massage Envy updates their website to reflect this 15-week policy that applies to prenatal massages at the Canton location.
Website to book is great if you are only trying to book one service. I tried to book a couples message and had to go through the booking process 2 separate times to book 2 individual appointments. Both appointments were under my name and 30 minutes before the appointments I received a call saying one of the therapists were not in. I wanted to cancel the other appointment because only one of us would get in and I was told that we would still be charged for the one (not the other) since she did show up. I tried to explain this was for a couple and was the intention of the double appointments at the exact same time.
Be careful getting a holiday package for someone. I was given the Rudolph package for Christmas. It was supposed to include a 60 minute massage + facial and also included $25 gratitude. When I called to schedule I mentioned the package multiple times. I arrived for my appointment early, but when we went back to the room there was confusion. The facialist said I had not scheduled a message. Majority of my facial was filled with complaints about the front desk scheduling things incorrectly. During the facial I was frustrated that my appt was not as I had scheduled it. When we were done we went to the front and they had squeezed me in to get the 60 minute massage. It was impossible to relax during the massage because I was worried about the mess up and what that would mean for me at check out. Again, this was a package deal that I was gifted and should not have paid one cent towards. When my message was over I went to checkout and had to pay $110 more than expected. They charged me for both services separately because of their scheduling mistake. Overall, I am not happy with my experience going to this location of message envy.
So, be careful booking a couples session here; if one of the masseuses decides to not show up for work, you wont be allowed to cancel your partners session.... Which is stupid, since it was booked as a COUPLES massage.Yall are ridiculous.

So relaxing!! My first experience here was interesting but in a good way! Minutes before my appointment, the power went off. Despite this, they were equipped to still get me in and I needed a massage in a bad way so I was relieved! Jamie was so nice and did her very best to give me a great massage session. I already booked my next massage and will be back for many more!
Massage therapist are great. The MANAGER is awful! I’ve been dealing with with a problem for months, and by months I mean like 6. She has returned one call of my at least 15. My husband cancelled his monthly program numerous times but because he had massages left they told us that we still need to pay $20 a month until he uses them all. Guess what? He used them all and we are still being charged $20 a month AND $65. I will be contacting corporate and leaving these beware reviews so everyone knows they scam people. I’ll be in next week to retrieve our money back (this time) you will refund me! It is against the law to do what you are doing. Stay away from this place.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my mom.She was given a Massage Envy gift card and decided to come to this location as it was the closest to her home. Her first massage was with Lisa who she said while nice, was very light handed and it didn’t really feel as if she was doing anything. So my mom said, no lost (because she had the gift card) and just decided not to go back.Well since she left, the location had been sending her texts messages asking her about her experience and if she would like to make another appointment. She never responded. A few days ago, she gets a call and it’s a representative from Massage Envy. She’s asking my mom how was her experience and my mom was honest with her and said that while it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t good either and she didn’t plan to come back. The lady then told her that she was sorry that that was her experience and asked if they could make it right by giving her a complimentary massage as a second chance. My mom said sure and had her appointment today.Trisha did her massage today and was better than her previous time. She even offered to turn on the heated table (a feature Lisa didn’t offer) and gave my mom a better massage. My mom went to the front to leave a tip for Trisha, and they told her she owed $75. My mom stated this was suppose to be complimentary and explained what she and the lady had discussed on the phone. My mom couldn’t remember her name, but after describing how she sounded, the woman at the desk (Brittany or Brianne) said she must have talked to Ryan. In any event, the front desk woman was polite and vowed to get to the bottom of it. She stepped away and called her boss and that’s when things really got bad.The manager/supervisor, who my mom said she think he said his name was Lexi or something similar, called her from a blocked number and was rude from the start. After she explained to him the conversation she had with Ryan, he told her that it was not a complimentary massage, it was for an enhancement. My mom said “an enhancement for what? I wasn’t planning on coming back, let alone add an enhancement. I came back because your representative offered a complimentary massage as I did not enjoy the first one and was not planning to come back” the manager then proceeded to tell my mom that she just wanted free massages and that the rep she talked to didn’t say that and all but literally called my mom a liar. Then he asked her why was her credit card on file if it was complimentary, but earlier had stated that Ryan couldn’t have booked an appointment without a credit card. My mom told him it was on file from her first appointment. He told her “well you’re going to pay for this.”While she’s on the phone with this manager, the store tries to run her credit card for the $75! Didn’t ask for permission, and at that point my mom was over it. She told him “you called me on a blocked number at 7pm basically accusing me of lying to get a free massage when I literally had no intention of coming back! Y’all store reached out to me!” The manager then stated that it was his day off and he doesn’t want customers to have his personal number. My mom told him well, call back on Monday when you’re on the clock and maybe we can meet in the middle in regards to payment and hung up. I told her don’t pay and cancel her card!Even if Ryan didn’t have the authority to issue a complimentary massage, she did and you should honor it. Or, like my mom was willing to do, pay a portion of the cost. Don’t reach out to customers, ask for their feedback, offer them a free, better experience, then try to charge them and have a nasty attitude to boot!Trisha was nice, Ryan and Brittany was nice as well, but other than that, my mom said she would avoid ever coming to this location and plans to throw away the other gift card she had received for Massage Envy because this particular location has left an impression that she won’t forget or subject other people to by giving away the gift card. One location has tainted our point of view of the whole company, which is sad.
I generally do not write reviews and I am usually pretty easy going and understanding, however, what I experienced today was absolutely horrible customer service and an overall terrible experience. I would not recommend doing any business with this location. The masseuse Jamie declined services 5 minutes AFTER the scheduled appointment time and I had already been sitting in the waiting for 20 minutes. The location manager, Orien, offered that I could reschedule my appointment. The way I was treated and the whole experience was unacceptable and extremely frustrating as a single parent who set aside an entire afternoon of her work day to be treated like this solely because the masseuse said she could “smell marijuana”. I was absolutely astounded and appalled that this refusal of service occurred with no valid reason and it was 5 minutes after my appointment time, after I had filled out all necessary forms, and over 20 minutes after I had sat in the waiting room. Update: The manager did call and offer me services to make up for the experience that I had the first time. When I went back for the complimentary services I did have a much better experience and no issue.
I came to massage envy on my search for a new MT, since my last long term MT at another massage franchise is unable to do my massages anymore. I didnt know who to see, and ended up booking with Chad, and am so lucky that I did. The best massage Ive had in months, he hit every problem area, was kind, and professional, and only talked when he had specific questions, which I appreciate. Now he is going to be my MT as long as hes available! The spa was clean, and comfortable, and the front staff (Brittany) was very kind, and knowledgeable. I will be going back from now on.
First time going here and wow!! Jamie was amazing. Having neck/head pain after trauma and she did a deep tissue massage that included my head/face. This is definitely a monthly necessity for me. Already noticed eye pain gone but I have a bit of a road ahead. Thankfully I found the perfect therapist!!
I love Massage Envy in Canton. Staff is very friendly. Office is clean. Bruce I have been getting massages from since June 2022. I go every 3 weeks. I had horrible Sciatic pain and I can honestly say I am pain free everywhere right now. He is amazing!

Just left and had to leave a review. The front desk were nice people, but the massage was awful. I just ran a long distance yesterday, so I wanted focus on my legs.All I got was a finger pressed in my glutes for the first 30 min. The rest was light hand rubbing. She also seemed annoyed when she saw me and told me I’d have to stay on my stomach. The part of my body that needed the most attention were my thighs and she never touched them.Worst massage ever. I definitely won’t be coming back.

First time & worse massage ever. Lisas hands were cold, pressure uneven and not a full body massage. Done within 48 mins. Waited longer than required for masseuse to come in and start the massage. The front staff is also unprofessional.
Although I only worked here for a day (my own health issues get in the way of me performing regular massage anymore unfortunately) I can say from direct experience that this is one of the cleanest and best organized spas I have ever been to! The staff is genuinely cool and very client focused, the cleaning procedures exceed any of the standard Covid protocols that Ive seen, and the therapists are well trained with lots of education opportunities. The compensation was definitely fair as well :) Very much recommended!
The last few times Ive been here there has been some issue. The customer service isnt great and the whole situation is just less than desirable for the price.
I have been using massage therapy services at this particular location in Canton for over 3 years. The environment is always pristine and super comfortable. The staff congenial and efficient. The massage therapists and the aestheticians are amazing at this location. I have never had a bad massage or facial experience. HOWEVER, the front desk staff unfortunately are not my favorite. There seems to be rigid policies and rules that they have to follow. Again, I realize they are doing their job but they seem to be on a different path compared to other locations. Because of a few negative experiences, I cancelled my membership with Massage Envy after being a loyal member for about 6 years. :(
I have been there twice now and have seen 2 different people for massages. The first was much better than the second one. Saw Bruce the first time. Fridays are best for me which Bruce does not work. Going to try Chad next time. Heard great things about him so well see!

Cheryl gave me a relaxing AND informative massage. She knows her stuff and she has magic hands.I also experienced my first facial and was astounded that my skin could feel like that. I wish I would have read the reviews on this location before I booked my appointment. Had 3 unused paid massages left. Booked my appointment after they verified my unused massages. After the massages were completed , which by the way Bruce was good! My husbands therapist just ok, the front desk suddenly was no longer accommodating. They said i had no massages left to use. I had verified this before coming with 3 different location. Only came to this one because closest to my house. They were very rude and condescending and did not honor their previous confirmation. They then charged my card even though they did not have authorization. Heidi the owner was very rude and threatened to call police even though they were in the wrong. My family belong to Massage Envy in 4 different states and we never had a problem. This was the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. If you want to feel like a number go to this location. If you want true customer service please pick a different location!!!! Not saying all Massage Envy are like this one as they are independently owned but the Canton location is horrible!!! After reading the reviews I am not alone
I travel the world for work and have had quite a few massages over the years. My massage with Bruce here at Massage Envy in Canton was by far the BEST!!! I felt immediate relief when I stood up. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the entire staff is professional and polite! I’m a client for life here now!!
Martha is by far the best esthetician I’ve had experience with in Michigan. I specifically only go to her. I’ve tried other places and staff but none compare to her. It’s the only reason why I come back and even drive 30 min to see her. She’s very professional l, friendly, has great technique when working with the skin. I’ve seen results and she keeps me on my toes about putting on my products and eating a clean diet. Very much recommend Martha

Theyre very professional and the massages here are great. Wife and I go for couples massages and we have never had a bad experience in the ~6 months weve been going. We decide to get a membership, although it doesnt seem worth it. You save on additional things.
The masaage itself was pleasant and relaxing. We did a couples massage with Jamie and Zachary, both of whom were professional. The reason Im giving this place 3 stars is due to the price. This was my second time here and the website only displays the introductory, first time price. I booked knowing that Id pay more than my first time and its my mistake for not inquiring on the price. No pricing quote was offered during my booking either and the receptionist could see we had only been the one time prior. So it was such a shock for me when I went to go pay after our massages that it was $195 for 2 one hour massages. The first time we went it was $50 each person. So unless you pay for the $65 monthly membership they insist you get, youll end up paying double, which is beyond ridiculous. Now I see why they push the memberships so badly. I wont be returning and it has eveeything to do with the price and lack of honesty on their website regarding pricing and services.

I have been a member for about 6 months now and am very happy. Im a return customer for Jamie, she can vary the massage based on my needs from deep tissue to relaxation. I have had a re-occuring hip issue that Jamie can stretch and massage right out.
This massage envy is the worst. We tried to cancel a membership, simply because it is not in the budget at this time. They gave THE HARDEST time canceling the membership. We had points to use, so decided to give a few to a friend. They gave me a HARD time in transferring points to use up. They want to charge for every little thing and then not make you aware of some of the fees. They also want to charge you right away when the appointment is made. I will never get another Massage Envy membership as this one was not a pleasant experience. I will not refer anyone either going forward. I will go to the Fru Fru places they advise you NOT to go to because its not real therapy, they say. However, I have a massage therapist that comes to my job EVERY two weeks and provides better service than this establishment. Please send me a survey, so you know exactly how your customers feel.
Book the therapist that has to book about a week in advanced usually. If you use app, you will notice their schedule availability. Avoid Lisa at all cost. Dont make her regular therapist unless you can tip 20% of the hourly rate. Even then, Back and Neck are the only parts she can massage good. Pens in this location need to be changed because I already have issues 3 times recently. Pens are cheap, so dont forget to change because the ink ball is not working properly.I have been a member since 2017 in a location at FL. I moved my membership to Northville location because MI monthly membership is cheaper while additional sessions are charged less. I like Canton location because I had great experience with 2 therapists who are Trica, another one whose name I forgot out of 4 total. In Northville, I dont like 2 out of 2.The 3rd masseuse just doesnt know how to massage. Lisa was great in the first session but it was only scalp, back, neck only per my request. So, I did 2nd session with her since he knows the right pressure and where to massage in the first time. During this session, I noticed that she is acting as if she is either not interested in massaging me anymore, or she is tired from other sessions she had like wrong spots and very soft pressure even tho I told her 2 times to increase it(this is what I thought at first). She also left out the back of my lower body parts like glutes, hamstring, calves even tho I said whole body massage at the beginning of the session. I didnt realized that it was an issue with my tipping because I always tip $6 per hour which is 10% of hourly rate. On that day, I was charged additional $15 for the left over Hydra Boost I brought from home. I told the front desk that it was brought from home which is my first session leftover about half bottle. So the staff explained me that it was a charge from therapist for additional service and not from ME for the bottle. If I have to pay $15 again, I would have bought new one from ME instead of BYOB. That is when I figure out she was massaging me as if she is not interested in providing me service during my second session with her. It was a tip issue. I booked with her because I always book close, and it looks like she is the only available one because other therapists are fully booked. So, my suggestion is that book someone who is not available in short booking and pay 15% tip minium and possibly 20% if you want to be safe. I have never seen someone who would do this just for a couple of bucks. She should be thanking me for taking the unfilled slot. For the name of 3rd masseuse, I forgot. But I only had one session with her. It was back in 2019.
Well my husband posted a review but it hasn’t shown up, I wonder why! This place ruined our day and yet to hear from anyone there. Just avoid this place if you want to plan ahead because they will just cancel on you and not care a bit.

I had a prenatal massage. The massage itself was really nice and the therapist was very careful as well. However, it was supposed to be an hour long massage but the therapist finished 15 minutes early. That was a bummer for the price I paid. I dont think I will go here again. Then I recalled and the same thing happened to me for a facial I had gotten previously.

Been coming here for a few months and have used the same therapist since starting.....Tricia is WONDERFUL!! She is a great massage therapist and caters to your specific needs. Definitely does not pressure you into anything you arent interested in. Was leary of committing to a year membership, but do not regret it at all!! Definitely recommend Tricia at the Canton location!!

Absolutely ridiculous lack of customer service. The first time I went the facial was not a facial. The esthetician was clearly new and did not know the proper way to give a facial or do extractions. After speaking with the Manager about the experience I was invited back for a complimentary second facial to give them another try.Again, I drove 30 mins to their location, only to be told they could not give me a facial because their protocol was that you could not have had any other facials within a month. That was not mentioned to me the first time, nor was it followed the first time, as I had also had a IPL facial two weeks before that treatment as well.Unprofessional, a waste of time and money. Much better spa facilities elsewhere. Do not waste your money.

Be wary of using the app to book appointments.. I had a verification number, appointment time, and the name of the masseuse, etc. and they were STILL unwilling to accommodate me. I understand scheduling restraints, but don’t offer a scheduling app if you can’t get it to function properly. Most good business practices/customer service approaches would find a solution to take care of their customers. NOT this place, so again- be wary of this particular M.E. 👎

Visiting from out of town and bad spasms in the back, difficult walking due to psoas spasm. Bruce addressed the issues directly and knows exactly what he’s doing. Pain 9 of 10 when I arrived and 1 of 10 when I left. Excellent result from a single visit! As an MD and athlete, I highly recommend Bruce at this location.
Go see Zac. Just do it. Trust me. Hes fantastic. The experience here is also quite nice, independent of a massage. You are offered a beverage while you wait, and I selected a cinnamon and spice tea that was delicious.
MISLEADING, RUDE, and INCONSIDERATE.One of the employees at the front desk has misled my boyfriend and I with the membership.In person, We made it clear that we were nervous about getting a membership for a year if we were NOT going to get more than a 60-minute massage for the price of $60 each/per month.The employee assured us that they had monthly add ons and that it would be worth the price. She whipped out this large colorful list of monthly add ons and pointed to them saying we could add it onto a massage each month.We double checked that we could use this with a *regular massage* because we were NOT interested in facials or anything else.We then signed the contract in March.We went back in April and used the first coupon with our massage(free extra 30 min). We were satisfied.Come May, we tried to use the coupon for that month and the employee told us that we had to purchase an additional facial to use the coupon.So then we were stuck with having to pay for an additional session(ON TOP of the monthly fee), for a *facial* that we did NOT even want. We only wanted the *regular massages*.She said there was nothing she could do about it. We asked her about the other coupons, and it turned out that only A COUPLE of the add-on coupons could be used with a *regular massage*. The rest were for facials or stretching sessions etc.So we left.I came back a couple of days later and talked to a manager to settle the misunderstanding so that I could cancel our memberships. The manager told me that she DID NOT BELIEVE that my boyfriend and I were misled by her employee and that that she will NOT let us out of the membership unless we had proof of moving to a different area or proof of a medical reason to not be able to get a massage.I talked to corporation on the phone three times. They then gave the Massage Envy in Canton THREE separate notifications to assess the problem with me.Finally, the same manager called me saying that she remembers me from when I came in and that her decision WILL NOT change. I told her that I cannot afford to pay this price of $60/per month for one single massage!She then offered some other add ons for a massage. I did not accept because I did not trust their word anymore! She said that I was being dishonest and nothing else was done.I called coorporation back and they never responded.MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAVE NOT USED OUR MEMBERSHIPS SINCE THAT FIRST TIME IN APRIL. SO NOW WE ARE STUCK BEING ROBBED EVERY MONTH.I’ve paid for 2 months (going on 3 in a month) of unused service because of them.
Chad is the greatest &Very professional! The whole massage envy canton staff makes you feel very welcome. The facility is always very clean, and accommodating!
This was my first visit to Massage Envy. My massage therapist, Jamie, was very professional and even offered exercises for me at home to help keep my muscles stretched in-between massages.

Horrible experience and it was all over the phone before I even came in to receive service. I made an appointment that I eventually CANCELED and I was still charged $110 on my card when they specifically stated they would NOT charge it! They are LIARS, THIEVES and have horrible customer service, I am calling my bank to dispute this transaction to get my money back. I will never EVER call this place, if they at least offered to give me another appointment, since they already robbed me, I would have considered that good customer service and maybe came back but they didnt so to hell with this place, I heard massage green was better anyways!
Had the hour long stretch and was out of the room with 12 minutes left on the clock. There was also a 10 minute consultation that was deducted from the stretch time. Complete muscle groups were missed and parts of the routine were pointless. The therapist was not strong enough to do the job thoroughly (115 lb therapist, Im a 220 lb guy) . I was instructed to roll my feet on a ball for 2 min. I payed for an hour and got about a 23 min stretch.
I booked an appointment weeks ago just for them to call and cancel my appointment at the last minute, didn’t even offer to reschedule.
Chad is always so great and really works hard to get all soreness gone. Nicole is always so nice and helps facilitate a smooth check in
Ken was fantastic..he offered tips that no one had ever done..offered me comfort solutions that hadnt been offered before..will definitely be going back and will most definitely recommend him..

Walk in to ask about information prices and more questions and they just said due to covid they dont take walk ins I just want information and I had to have a appointment so I ask if I could get a appointment for today she said we dont take walk ins do to covid and I said so you dont have time to talk to and explain answer questions for a first time person who want to become a client or member here and she said do to covid we dont take walk ins I understand Covid but I just wanted information and questions

The .assagr is top notch, but if you want a weekend appointment, you need to schedule it up to a month in advance.

Came in for a facial due to dry skin. Facial was great. I was told that the next time would be for 1 1/2. Basically the same service and much more expensive.
Massage Envy Canton has a very nice atmosphere and the massage therapists (in particular Jamie) are knowledgeable and friendly and effective. Love it!
