Delicious double tacos 🌮 great service and an all round feel good American Bar. Travelled from Sydney Australia and highly recommend this place, the bar staff and atmosphere are awesome.

I just have to share. We have been going to this place for many years, even when it was a membership bar. We cannot miss even one week because of Michelle and Dave the chef. We are very thankful. It feels Homie and loving. Thank you for being here, Great, if you live locally! We are thankful there is still place to get a seat at the bar in season. The food is exemplary. .❤️

As we were on our way out last night, I said I’d really like to find a bar to call Our Bar. where we like the bartenders and the atmosphere. They know our drinks you know, our bar. Well, we found our bar and we made an entrance by getting stuck in the back parking lot. Thank you so much for everyone coming out to try to help us. Lexi was an amazing bartender. You guys are “Our bar!” From here on out!!!!

Pretty good experience. Drinks are poured good and prices are in line. Hamburger was tasty and only $3 on Fridays.

I came here about a month ago and everything was fine, the bartender was nice and the food was good. we played darts and had no issue with our visit, but i come in today and this lady had a problem with me and my friend as SOON as we walk in, asking for ID’s immediately and then says “my boss can’t let you in because your photo ID is up and down and not sideways”…. that’s literally because i got my photo ID before i turned 21, but it was perfectly fine for me to come in last time. i’m 23. she needs to be fired and let go she doesn’t deserve her position.

Love the O bar drinks are cheap. Food is good. Friday night New York Strip, baked potato and salad 10.99, absolutely Delicious, Way better than going further south to the Dek home of the flat soda and Cape Coral Cops and the drinks are expensive.

We (group of 8 women, ages 23-50) loved this place. Karaoke was fun, drinks were strong and the crowd was very welcoming! Will definitely go back when we return to town.

I went early AM and it was dark and not many ppl but that isnt negative, it has the atmosphere of a real nice bar almost club like except no loud music. Bartender was nice and polite, tho there was only like 5 ppl there cause i hit just after 12 im sure the place is a poppin spot at night and i plan to return! Prices were good too!

Within 5 minutes I was introduced the six or seven people and 10 minutes after that you would have sworn we knew each other all our lives. Really friendly atmosphere. It was sort of like rediscovering a better America in the fact that you can sit at the bar drink smoke and cuss! Thats my kind of people.

Very fun atmosphere on Friday nights for karaoke. Im not used to smoke, and it took me a little while to get used to it. Bartender was super chill. Everyone was smiling, singing, and having a good time.

Went early on a Friday night to eat and sing karaoke from out of town. Be forewarned this bar allows smoking and the place reeked like an ashtray. Not the best atmosphere for singing at all. We were so turned off that we did a 180 and left immediately. If you are looking for upscale or classy keep looking.

Its a bar, its close to homeRevision: the O Bar has become my second home, and I dont drink much ever. I go because it reminds me of a time when smoke filled the air, bars smelled like booze, and if you have 10 bucks, you can eat like a king. At first I was hesitant when curiously scanning the neon backlit dry erase board with todays menu written on it - their version of a menu, and it works just fine. Speaking of working fine, dont think for a second that VJ (GM) will let some schlub work there long enough to provide you with less than great service, fantastic and very affordable food. Everyone there is there because they want to be - something Im not used to seeing, but happy to experience. Ill be back, probably tomorrow for 75¢ Wing Wednesday and most certainly for a large ribeye with sides for 10.99 - or is it 12.99? Who cares, there are truly delicious steaks and would have cost $20-$25 anywhere else. Its like cheers with smoke, cursing and zero daylight, lol.

Place was dirty and the drinks watered down. I either got sick from the dirty environment or the food but Ive been really sick almost 103 fever the very next day after visiting this place. Maybe I got sick somewhere else but Im just saying what I saw and experienced. Very dusty and the half the food was ice cold.

Fun place to go, good drinks and good food, however it can be very smoky which is minus 1 star, but that is what they allow so no problems, just wish it was better vented. We enjoy it more when the doors are propped open. I also love that Betty seems out all types of texts showing upcoming events and special. Amanda is the best!👍

Best bar on the cape. Currently here enjoying $1 mimosas and bloody Marys and the ribs special- literally falling off the bone, so tender and only $5 with fries and beans! Every day is a new special. Chef Donny is so friendly and comes right out to the table, the girls are great at the bar. Locals rejoice, a nice hidden gem. :)

My first visit here. The service was awesome. We ordered steak dinners and they were amazing, the cut of meat was good and cooked to perfection. The drinks were great mixture. Im sure well be back often. Thanks

Absolutely love this place!!! Wings can be Naked or Breaded.....Sweet Chili sauce they have is DELICIOUS!!! Low lighting but works perfectly. More TV’s than you will ever need. Great pricing too and food is very well done!

Been going here since the mid 80’s. Best Chinese food in town. Owner is an excellent cook and very pleasant. We mostly do takeout these days don’t remember ever being disappointed.

Food is average but the staff could use a refresher on manners and sanitary best practices. They forgot something from my order and when Ai returned to pick it up, they made me feel as if their day had been inconvenienced because of their mistake.

Really nice staff and really good prim rib that had no toughness to it and the price was really cheap , but the potatoes were instant so ask for fries instead. So two dinners 2 drinks a piece was under $30.00 , I can honestly say that the prim rib was perfect and staff was just as good. So stop in and have a drink or meal or both

First time i ate here that it was bad. Prime rib so tuff that it was hard to cut. Push your fork in then cant get it out. We were members when it was a member club. We ordered ours rare ,my husband was ordered rare, rare, some problem as me. Like trying to eat leather. No flavor like it use to be. Sorry but really bad. Put 100 dollars on card before we ate. I wish we would of waited to do that.

Walked in, so dark couldn’t see a thing and was already smoking a cigarette just by breathing.Ordered 4 drinks… just well/call liquor (2 with water and 2 with Diet Coke). Total bill $27.41. Largest bill for alcoholic drinks for the last 10 days!!! Asked bartender what price per drink was..Her reply…divide it by 4.Totally RUDE! Will not recommend to ANYONE and will NEVER be back! Head further into the Cape and go to the Dek, Tiki., Dive bar…, you will thank me!

YOU BETTER WATCH WHAT DOOR YOU USE TO ENTER THIS PLACE! I walk into the bar and the room abounds with stares. I had just gotten off work and was rocking my navy work polo and cargo shorts.This must have been far too formal attire for The “O”, because suddenly a chain-smoking middle-aged woman approaches me and says “What are you doing here?” I hesitate, having never received such a kind greeting on my way into a restaurant. “Uh, I’m just here to eat.”She proceeds to continue her darts game that I must have disrupted. Must be training for nationals, as she appeared to take her craft very seriously.To avoid more trouble, my partner and I proceeded to have a seat at the furthest table in the corner of the room. It was so dark that my blind partner had to use his phone to view the menu.“Only fried foods after 8pm,” said our waiter. No problem. We weren’t here to diet. We were here to gorge ourselves.After a bucket “O” beers, our wings and corn fritters were out and piping hot! I must say, the food was tasty, the sauces worked well. Try the wings both with breading and naked - you won’t be disappointed! I think we had some kind of mango seasoning. I don’t know, you can’t go wrong here. If you think otherwise, you take your high expectations somewhere else, city-slicker!!I don’t know what it was about The “O” that made me fall in love. Maybe it was the smoke filled room that reminded me that yes, in 2019, there are still some states that allow smoking in bars. Maybe it was the intensity with which the dart throwers worked on their craft. Or maybe it was just the country folk cussing loudly over lord knows what. I’m not sure. You’ll just have to find out for yourself.

All in all Id say this just isnt the place for me - mainly because of the cigarete smell. Improve ventilation so the air is breathable. My daughter just moved to Cape Coral so she, her boyfriend, her dad and I decided to go there to check it out. The very first thing I noticed was that it was very (very) smoky inside with little or no ventilation, and no outside seating. The smell in there was horrendous, so for sure they should invest in a good ventilation system. We werent there long, but my clothes and hair smelled like I chain smoked all day and night in a closed car, yuck! The music was played by a DJ and was not my type. My daughter and her bf both smoke, and liked the music, go figure, haha. I guess theyll go back. As far as food goes, it looks like they have very good (cheap) food specials, but I had to wonder about the quality of the food based on the inexpensive prices. We didnt eat there but full dinner with 10 oz NY strip steak for $9? What? The server explained its mainly to get people in the door to drink. Makes sense, its a bar! On the bright side, and the reason this is not a 1 star review is because of the service. We barely sat before a very nice lady came to our table and took our drink order. She was friendly and very welcoming, at the end she came over and told us that wed get special perks like $20 birthday tab if we signed up for their mailing list. All 4 of us did ... because why not? Anyway, I did like the vibe of the place just not the insane smokiness. If it wasnt so cloying Id go back to try their daily specials, the ribs and steak specials seemed really good.

So, Ill start by saying, THIS IS NOT A FOOD REVIEW....I used to love this bar. Now, my days are numbered. Im only writing this post in the hopes that, MAYBE, POSSIBLY someone (ownership/management) that can change the direction of this sinking ship, does.THE OWNERSHIP; who used to be onsite daily/nightly, built the business up, and cared about their customers, IS GONE! Management, a revolving door (and very confusing), is laughable at best.Current state of business: Good people and staff by day, THUG crowd by night. After 9:00pm it becomes (once the coast is clear) BAD RAP music, that only the young staff plays and wants to hear, and HORRIBLE SERVICE. It seems to become the staffs (and their non-paying friends) personal playground, and its driving all of the (long time) good PAYING CUSTOMERS away.We; the mature and good PAYING/TIPPING customers will find a new place, without all the drama and arguments (with the staff), where we can (once again) enjoy our evenings.Well miss you O Bar!!

Love the atmosphere and seems like a lot of different crowds come here. Food is really good and reasonably priced. The alcohol seems a bit over priced. Love all the sports and the many tvs they have. Also they have different specials everyday.

Whilst it is a dive bar, we received excellent service with a smile and great bargains on food and drink. Join their VIP club and really save money! The band at the Grand opening was good. Really appreciate that this business employs real musicians not posers billing themselves as musicians and singing karaoke.

Good food good drinks great staff prime rib is real good a little loud some times but a great place for a drink and a bite.. I dont know whats happend to this place but last night was the worst. 6 of us went for prime Rib plate came out one at a time at ten minutes apart my margarita had orange juice in it I ask why I was told it makes it top self??? All in all not a good night!!!

Food is good. Waitresses are nice, but they only had 2 that night I went so everything took forever. Smoking is allowed so I left with a massive headache. Live music was really good.

I like it there because its homey feeling and being the new face in there people welcomed me and everyone was so nice and welcoming Def gonna be there more. I can Def hang out there. Wings are the best Ive had since moving here in 2016.

I use to visit her frequently and my last few visits were unpleasant the pace spoke for its self. I returned today solely to meet a friend for her birthday and am pleased to say that Shannon and Katy redeemed my faith in the O bar. Thank you !

Allows smoking, only had beer here after getting hit with smoking, so only can rate on my initial impression. Did not get to try food. They have NFL package if youre a football fan.

Oh, it was pretty cool, although, Im not a fan of smoking in the bars, or restaurants. They mix good drinks, and are very attentive, to the customers. Id go back, for sure.

Heard it had great food ,was very disappointed when I arrived. Before I opened the door I could smell the smoke. Once I opened the door the smoke was so bad it made my wife sick to her stomach. We didnt eat there so never got to try the food. Maybe take out would be a future option..........

First time here, definitely a hidden gem. Amazing and comfy atmosphere, with friendly staff and strongest drinks around. Reminded me of a friendly northern bar. Next time will check out the food!

This place is a diamond in the rough. Great food, Pbr on tap! and the staff are amazing. Check out their special but dont be afraid to go off the beaten path. Just saying. Awesome time.

Hardly any ventilation. One person starts smoking and the whole place fills. Way too many smokers to enjoy anything. No outside area either to get away from it. Think being in a car, all windows closed, 3 people smoking.

If smoke filled, bad music, in a dark bar with no windows, surrounded by people that are....well...not who I hang around fills your need? Then this is your place. They do have more dart boards than most bars. Im really searching for a positive.

I am shocked and embarrassed that I took a friend to The O Bar tonight in Cape Coral. We are sitting having a drink eating a pizza listening to karaoke. Everyone is having a good time, when the DJ playing the music puts on a song for someone to sing..the song...White America....Really?? Is this a song to be sung in public for Karaoke purposes? We complained to the waitress who told us she had already told the manager she had people complaining. He didnt care, we paid our check and left. I am not one of the millenials or democrats. I am a middle aged adult that votes Republican. I am also a business owner in the Cape. I am completely shocked that someone that have as a manager would allow this song, and disrespect customers complaining about it. There are tons of Eminen songs that could have been sung. I would think a serious bar manager, and a professional DJ would know this is not a song that most of the public would want to hear sung for karaoke.

This is definitely a drinking bar. Friendly bartenders. Many TVS. A bit darker than I like. Other patrons said the food is good. If you want a night to party, this is a good place to be.

Been going here over 3 years great place good for a low cost. I live 45 minutes away and my wife and I still make the trip. Fun bartenders and good people.

Came for karaoke and was here for 2 hours and only 4 people sang. He played music the whole time. No karaoke. You should advertise for DJ not karaoke.

Its sad when they charge you 5.00 dollars for a bloody mary then on top of it is another charge of 1.25 for the mix so you are paying over 6.00 dollars for a drink.so sad are we at a club?
