Oceana Massage

I really dont like writing poor reviews. But this place needs to understand how to improve their service or they will go out of business. The lady left my Mom on the table 4 times to leave to answer the door, talked on the phone on her portable in the middle of her massage, and the massage overall wasnt good. Beds arent that comfortable and no one speaks English. (which would be tolerable if the massage was amazing).

A very good massage experience. The masseuse who massaged me was named Wendy. She was very nice and patient in massaging me. I will make an appointment in advance next time, thank you

Leanna is just a delightful surprise. She has in-dept knowledge of soothing and eliminating my worst pain. If you want a GREAT massage with a congenial therapist this is my choice. Best choice I have made and it makes a great difference for me every 2 to 4 weeks

I believe theyve hired some new staff. They guy on the phone and the young woman at the desk when we walked in spoke clearly and communication was not a problem. The prices have gone up a little but it is still a good value and well worth it. The massage therapists do a great job; I left feeling so relaxed that I could have fallen asleep. There isnt a lot of parking available but I always manage to find a spot somewhere.

I have been getting regular massages for many, many years, and have had nothing but amazing experiences at Oceana. All the staff are well trained and the full body massage is reasonably priced, and comes complete with hot towels. Highly recommended if in Cbad village and looking for a good massage!

Massage was good (when she was in there) she answered the phone at least 4 times during the massage. Might be better to hire someone to answer phones than lose a customer who has sent at least 25-30 people in there and never asked for anything besides a real hour massage without an interruption every 10 minutes. I like the staff but they’re just understaffed.

Best massage Ive ever had. Prices are so reasonable too. I had a migraine & ordered the 60 min foot massage. Its like he just knew what I needed. Got a full scalp massage. Walked out feeling so much better. Ill be back for sure

Usually I like this place but tonight the 2 ladiesAt the front desk talked loudly my entire massage which made it hard to relax.My massage itself was pretty good, a littleRushed feeling. I hope they read this and have more consideration. People won’t come back if you’re talking the entire massage. I think I’llTry a new place next time unfortunately.

Was looking for massage location in Carlsbad and found a gem in Oceana Massage. Felt welcome from the get-go and pricing was very affordable. Optd for the 1 hour session. Massage was very relaxing, good pressure, and left rejuvenated. Highly recommend.

Great little place. One hour regular massage in a clean room with large heated massage table is $50, and you can ask for a free table shower, but then you get 45 - 50 min massage plus the shower. Reflexology foot massage in a chair is $30 for the hour which is a great deal. Remember to tip your therapist!

I LOVED the reflexology massage. It helped me out a great bit. Also got a 60-minute massage. I dont know if there was a communication gap or what but wound up with a deep tissue massage on my upper body only. I know my shoulders blades needed it but did not care for it. :-( my son went and had the same thing done and wound up with a rash on his calves. Not sure if its from the lack of lotion or if maybe he had a reaction to that particular lotion. However he did like the massage itself and the reflexology.

Just returned from a thoroughly relaxing massage from Danny ! He certainly knows the right pressure, soothing strokes, gentle stretches, breathing patterns and thought-provoking self-assuring responses to make any tight muscle, stressed mind or injured area relax! I feel refreshed to take on the world, prepared for a great night’s sleep and reminded that self-care really matters. Thank you, Danny for the attention my mind, body and soul needed! The absolute worst massage I’ve ever received. The table was right beneath the air conditioning, I asked if it was on and she told me no. I checked when the massage finished and what do you know it was on. Don’t recommend waste of money.

Owner doesnt want you to leave the bad comment on their webside, so they shut down the leave review section on their webside. I think the most important thing they can do is shut down their business. Employee overthere doesnt have professional training at all. they do not speak English very well.Close by there is other business you can go.

Great deep tissue massage! Had spent 12 hours on a flight and she restored me to new. Tremendous value. I will return soon!

So irritated with this place. I used to come all the time ahd the last two times the woman up front doesnt speak or understand English and over booked. Drive all the way there on lunch to be told to come back or wait 30 min.Just be weary, they set appointments by dont understand enough English to actually understand how that works.

Its a great place. Dont expect the artful hands of an Aveda but the hour long foot massage costs a lot less and is very relaxing.

Employee doesnt get training overthere, they always ask for high tip, even they want to provide happy ending if you can give them high tip, this place need to be shut down forevor...............

Friendly welcome and staff but kindness is not a job. The massage was mediocre and not very technical, my masseuse was clearly a beginner and my wife found her back blocked this morning, clearly not the desired goal.
