OYO Hotel Channelview I-10

This place is trash and not up to fire safety codes and they are price gouging the price because it shows $55 dollars online but when you go to website it says $75-$79 a night so tell me why the had me pay $85 a night...the rooms arent worth $85 they are trashed the floors are disgusting and no smoke detectors at all and I had a trail of ants coming from my bathroom floor straight to my food and dogs food which I had to throw away. Currently have a lawyer and Fire Marshall investigatior looking into it and to refund me my money because they was supposed to rent me the room with out it having a smoke detector in it its against the law and they could be fined or sued in civil court

The photo on website of the rooms are nothing like the room. Damp, damp, clothes smell. Very very old furniture beat up furniture!!! Truck highway noise for the whole two-days stay. I paid $78.00 dollars for the nights! Doors 🚪 🚪 are beat up and the security lock was broken! NEVERRRRR Again!

Main reason for such a harsh rating is because me and my fiancés luggage came back with bed bugs! We have to get a whole new mattress for our home now because we stayed here!

This OYO Motel is the best place to stay at and was extremely helpful and helpful during my time of need due to a Hurricane in Houston Texas. I plan to stay there again this weekend.

This place is a joke. I went there on March 29th to get a room I did tap pay with my phone and lo and behold it said declined and yet the money has still come out of my account somehow and even says that its from oyo yet I cannot get a hold of anyone to refund my money since I did not get to stay they will not return my calls they will not return my emails nothing

You get what you pay for ,just saying. I would bring my own blanket and towels lol and slippers so you wont be barefooted on the carpet.

Manager at front desk is awesome human bein I felt very welcome here and hotel is clean my bed is very comfortable 👌 I would really recommend you wont be disappointed, they actually care about whats best for you .

Don’t go here dawg. nothing like the pictures, my daughter (8mo) crawled on the floor for two minutes and her knees and hands were filthy, when i went to give her a bath the drain plug was too small and did not work. saw roaches throughout our stay, our ac unit leaked all over the floor and got on some of our stuff, the sheets were stained as well as the mattress, moral of the story you get what you pay for but i’d rather pay 70$ a night not to feel like i’m sleeping in a trap house.

The office staff made us feel very welcomed both rooms.i stayed were clean housekeeping always makes sure you have clean.towels and linens daily and its quite and easy to get a good night rest I recommend this property

I was a little skeptical at first with the low price, but the room was great! Very roomy and had a tv with cable. The man in the front was also very nice too, let us check in later than our estimated time and everything. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Houston!

Broken door locks, old decore unlike what is pictured online, very low water pressure, horrible cheap shower heads, no hot water, phones dont work unless you need a paper weight, bugs, cable and wifi are a waste of time as they are spotty at best, mattress is terrible, feels like it would if you were laying just on the inner-springs if there was no padding or fabric and the springs were bent and broken. There are better options in the area for the price. I do not recommend this place. The only thing they renovated was the sign out front when they changed the name to be under the OYO brand, and maybe a few rooms got new blankets. Thats it. Dont be fooled by the pictures online.

Amazing stay, good staff and happy faces

The location and the price is good.. my bed was very clean.. the bathroom and floor not so much.. the bathroom seems to have issues with ants and the maids here doesn’t do a very good job cleaning.. Dried up snot/ buggers on the bathroom walls, and a lot of hair on the floors. Floors are still dirty with old stains. The chair was looking a bit rough so I use their towels to cover up the chair…

Great customer service, everyone are always so polite at the help desk.

Nice safe place, I didnt see any roaches and the place had a lot of cable channels. 5 stars for my first hotel in the Houston area. 😀I just wish the refrigerator had a freezer part. Oh well. 😄

Owner was a life saver printing out our cruise boarding pass! Thanks a million! Room was pretty good with micro and fridge; no stains on sheets preferred & housekeeping needs to cleans vents & walls; staff was very nice though; safe hotel & parking; keep up the good work!

The owner is extremely respectful and caring. The housekeepers do an awesome job at cleaning the rooms and keeping the towels and bedding washed. And they are super sweet.

I went back because I loved my 1 st stay. Oh man last time I stayed here I felt like I was imposing like not welcome. Paid online was given a smoking room which is the only thing I did not want. To get a double bed have to pay $12 Cash more!!! Ridiculous. If you dont like your profession quit The maid staff is awesome.!But that man is a creep

Unbeatable for the price! The owner/manager was friendly and the rooms were comfy. There was a lot of variety on the TV and the wifi was fast. Overall a great stay.

Extremely dirty.. smelled like cigarettes when we walked in. I’m not sure how this hotel is a 3 stars because it is NOTHING like what the reviews say. We stayed here for one night and let me tell you, I BARELY SLEPT. There was a bug crawling ON the bed.. The body soap they offer is legit the size of a quarter. I don’t understand how this is 3 stars!!! We checked for bed bugs but luckily didn’t find any. I do not recommend this hotel! Only perk is that it’s next to highway and very well lit at night.

The rooms were really clean and the people were nice. The ac worked really well. It was really close to the highway and I stayed in the first room in the ground floor. It got really loud when trying to sleep. The door also let a lot of light in from the bottom. I would stay here again but I would ask for a room further back.

This is the nicest OYO I have stayed at yet. Its not the Hampton, but it surely isnt awful. If you want a nice place for the money. Then this is your place. Its nice and clean. Very safe. Very fast WIFI too. This is my go to place when I am in town. Nice owners too.....

DON’T STAY HERE! First room we got smelled like mold, the furniture was run down, stains on the sheets, the fridge was broken, and the toilet was broken. They moved us to a room an hour later that we thought was better at first but there was no tv service, the wifi doesn’t work, and there’s blood on the shower curtain! Nasty!

My wife always books our stay here at OYO and we have never had a problem when being there. Staff is very friendly and helpful! And rooms are always cleaned and the manager does change the air filters which is lovely!

Im very upset with in 20mins of booking a room and due to work and weather the young lady would not change my date too 2 days ahead after I explained it rained and we can not work outside and we will be returning in a few days and then but 5 to 21days. She stated no refund and I lost my money after we had stayed 3 nights I will never return due to that. I will go else where with my money...

The guy at the desk at night was friendly as was a different guy in the morning. When renting a room we were advised that the credit card machine was broken and it was cash only, which was fine this time since we planned on paying cash anyhow. I observed the morning guy walking through the parking lot checking vehicle descriptions/tags and checking them off his list to ensure only people renting rooms were there.Outside of that our visit wasnt too impressive. Our room had roaches. Luckily, we didnt see many but still something you dont want see in your hotel room. The room we occupied was sort of in the middle of the main building and you can hear the highway traffic pretty well when trying to sleep. The noise didnt keep me from sleeping but noticeable enough laying there with tv off that I mentioned how well I could hear the highway traffic to my wife.Overall, Ive stayed at places that I would consider worse. We went cheap and we got just that.

This was one of the worst hotel rooms. The blanket had blood On it, the door bottom did have a seal so bugs came in and it was drafty. The shower never got hot, even in full heat.

For the price I was very satisfied. The owner made sure we were well accommodates. I would stay here again if I needed an affordable place to get a good nights rest while traveling long distances.

Nice room it’s perfect for the price you pay for, very friendly staff, but internet connection is very very slow. Cannot get work done on my laptop

The room was nasty. Had bedbugs. Sheets were dirty. Bed are uncomfortable.

Worst customer service experience I have ever, ever had! This was exhausting. I got the run around with conflicting statements about my reservation with every person I spoke with. This is my first time traveling to the area & this has been awful. Book online & get everything stated clearly in writing. I would give it no stars if that was an option.

The room was nasty bed had pea stains no internet or cable the walls was dirty the carpet was sticky I was told cause I book the room no refunds I felt like I was at war we ith this motel it very un nasty .

Could be cleaner, and stained towels, shower curtains and bed sheets should be thrown away. Always hair left from the previous person who stayed. Its just not cleaned sanitized so well.

The bed shirts were dirty and had holes thru from cigarette. Disgusting. Dirty place. Not recommended. Pay $10 more and Book elsewhere at chain hotels.

Really very dirty, you can see that the sheets are not changed frequently and it is obviously a bit unpleasant to sleep on top of the dirt of other people, the pillows totally dirty

Never come here! The guy in the office was rude to my mother, and kicked us out for no reason. And we didnt receive our refund for that day. So please choose another place that actually treats you right.

Rooms need a major update.

Owner very nice. They worked with us... but some times bad seed come out but owner was first to deal with any concerns that arise.

Terrible don’t go here, don’t use Priceline, if you save your money and sleep under a bridge it’s the same thing

Horrible conditions nasty I didnt even get in the shower in that tub.

Expensive for the quality. there was also super noisy renovations going on in the room below for over 10 hours 2 days in a row.

Was meeting with friend to pick her up from the inn. The whole parking lot smelled of marijuana and was dirty. Lots of trash and debris across the lot.
