Vinos Bar and Grill

Vinos has better food than most of the restaurants in Charleston, not even kidding. The wife and I shared a plate of cheese fries, along with some boneless wings and a Monte Cristo sandwich, all of which was delicious. The staff was excellent and attentive, we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Honestly, everything was far above what we expected, which was a breath of fresh air. Go here, now!

Such a great atmosphere. Ive been here several times on the weekend but thursday salsa night is my fave!!!! Good vibes great drinks. Although 1 bartender charges something different every time but its all good. Love the whole atmosphere!!!

I visited Vinos with some out of town friends. We were all pleased with the staff and the facility. We stayed on the lower level had some drinks, played pool, and a hunting game. The basketball shoot-out game did not keep score and the balls were flat, but thats my only complaint 🤷🏾‍♀️

Oh my God!! Seeing Americans dancing Latin music is the most beautiful thing I could see. Here dance classes are given. The opening time of this place is enjoyed. I enjoy when I travel to West Virginia

My buddy and I were visiting WV for the outdoors and wildlife, but we needed some night life. We went to Charleston to get Pepperoni Rolls and got drinks at Vinos. Next thing is the bartender says there is salsa upstairs, it was shocking, in a good way, to see so many non latinos dancing to the beat. Keep it up guys, great dancers and novices trying to get into the rumba

Nice spot, packed with people!! Music was good, drinks reasonably priced and made good!! Great time with family, other than fight that broke out, music never stopped, security took along time to break up fight but folks still continued to party!! Nothing like going home to Charleston Wv!

Not sure whats so special about this place. bouncers are really nice - but, its just a two story bar. nothing fancy ... and definitely nothing fancy enough that a dress code is necessary.

The crowd is a bit of a mix... Be prepared for a small town mentality. Otherwise the drinks were fast and fair. Upstairs is your best bet- not that it is secluded but at least quiet. Large leathery sofas and club chairs and a game of darts. **be open minded**

Its the best bar in Charleston! Everyone from the owners to the door guys are friendly and welcoming. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I walk in, and I dont go out often! The door guys are professional and keep everyone safe, the bartenders are cute....stop reading reviews and go!!!!!!!

My favorite bar to go to on the weekends and downstairs they have good food for a bar. Owners are always there and make sure customers are having a good time and take care of their needs. Bartenders are usually female and they do a good job especially on weekends as it is super busy and they keep it rolling. Thanks guys cya this weekend 😊👍

This bar seem like it was a great place to go to. But at the time that I went there was no one there. But the bartender and five people.

Definitely one of the most upscale bars in Charleston. Security is tight, dress code is appropriate, upstairs is gorgeous, and downstairs is laid back. Their food is also on point. Love this place. Vicente & Christy are the best!

There was nothing wrong with the bar itself it was more the people just keep getting younger it was chanting Cardi B in there I was born in 1985 filling out a place downstairs is more for people our age upstairs is more of the dance area and younger people more mixtures stuff like that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the bar I just rather be home eating wearing a nightgown watching TV now I didn’t feel lonely being by myself I’m newly single I did feel comfortable

2 of my girlfriends and i were excited to go and try this bar/club/grill. i’m 18, another friend was 19 and another 18. we were told by MULTIPLE people that we were allowed in at 18 with valid ID. (which we all had) WELLL WRONG . you have to be 21. yikes didn’t know you had to be 21 to dance, talk and order food. Dumb if you ask me.

Unfortunately, one of the only places for younger people to dance in Charleston. Service is slow, drinks overpriced. Security acts like theyre TSA. Staff is rude.

We were at this bar on three occasions. It was mainly for a snack and a drink. First two were very pleasent experiences - both due to excellent attention paid by the staff. Opposite was true the third time. Having owned a restaurant, we understand how things can go wrong and two out of three isnt bad.

Watched a guy get choked out here the other night and bouncers watched and didn’t do anything. Definitely don’t feel safe ever going back. Doesn’t seem like they care about the safety of their patrons.

There is always a line at the bar and at the bathrooms. The bouncers charge different people different amounts and there is always a cover and never a band. The only thing this place has going for it is the size. Go somewhere else if you are looking for a good time.

They would not let my husband in because he had a tank top on (no sleeves)... I had one on also -- not a problem tho for me...ummm. it was 90 degrees out, there was hardly anyone in The place.... wonder why .

Excellent service, delicious drinks, and the BEST bar food in Charleston! Chill atmosphere downstairs and an awesome club vibe upstairs on the weekends. Highly recommend!

Came to visit. Very disappointed that the DJ up stairs was not open to customer song request. Its after midnight and no one on dance floor. We were told no request. Seems to be a Drake and Beyonce only environment.

This is one one my favorite .if you dont have a good time its your fault ..very clean friendly ..they got the best food..and the owner is a person who makes you feel like your family ..every person should try this place ..its 100% the best place

Tried to go here last night but the bouncer didnt let my friends in. They had international IDS and he asked for their passports. These guys play for the Power team and turn in their passports. Funny thing is when they explained this he said that it is ABCA law. FunnBBBk bbbbbb?b bbbpcy thing is when I A WHITE looking MALE asked if it was truly ABCA law he backed down and said it was your policy at Vinos. I know ABCA law does not say that you need a passport because I deal with them on a daily basis! Your bouncer is just a racist that thinks he is a big shot because he is in security. Two things, check the ego and the race card. We gladly went somewhere else and spent $450. I also want to note that I am telling everybody about this and making sure as many people know about the race card he was playing. Good job Vinos! I heard that this place was latino owned and wanted to give my business to a fellow latino. Check your staff.

Always love the atmosphere here...was a bit crowded upstairs but was able to get service with no problem downstairs...great time with my wife and her sister was celebrating her 30th Birthday!!!

This is the place to go to if you wanna hear the top 40 list of music at an unbearable loudness. Crowd is lively and its popular among the lay-dees

Nice place enjoyed the energy can’t wait to go back the place was clean and no drama everyone wanted to have fun! The music was hip hop and R B the drinks was on point!

My favorite bar in town. Has the best bartender and really good bar food. Try the buffalo chicken wontons! There is one bartender that works there that is really awful though.

Every employee working the night I was there looked miserable. Every single one. I dont care how hot you are if you look miserable you look miserable. To be fair this place is for ppl who think theyre on Sunset Blvd or something & I shouldnt have been there.

Its alright. There is no dance. Sit or stand for drinking or talking as fun. Good foods & music. Just little bit boring!

Well they are not nice to foreigns. It was obvious. I went there to eat something. Waited and waited waitress went by and no word. Walked out feeling sorry for their ignorance.
