Carey Lamar is the best hair stylist, period. I’ve been coming to him for years, first to fix a color nightmare a different stylist made. He is a master at color and I highly highly recommend him to anyone.

Salons by JC is one of the best salon suites in Chicago!! I’ve been renting a suite since 2019 and I couldn’t be happier ! The concierge (Val) and building managers (Bob and Jeana ) are so sweet and helpful!

As someone who used to rent here and also still comes for services I will always love this place. I’ve made lifelong friends and I’m always welcomed warmly and receive exceptional services. Elsa at Flawless Permanent Makeup and Shana at Skyn Studio are masters in their craft and I would recommend them to anyone!

Love this this place! It radiates warmth and friendliness as soon as you walk in, tasteful decor and kept impeccably clean. The owners are not only kind but also highly professional.The neighboring suite owners contribute to the positive atmosphere, fostering a sense of camaraderie. Safety is a priority with secure key card access and a convenient client keypad system. The on-site concierge is a gem, especially during busy hours, ensuring a smooth experience for both myself and my clients.One notable aspect is the flexibility at the end of the lease. The move-out process aligns with the contract terms without unnecessary hassles. Additionally, they offer classes, access to a washer and dryer, and a break room.What sets this place apart is the understanding nature of the owners, creating a welcoming environment, especially during personal challenges. This understanding allows for a comfortable return when ready to resume operations. My experience here has been exceptional, and I cant imagine working anywhere else!

Salons by JC is one of the best salon suites in Chicago!! As a stylist who works here, there is so much diversity within the beauty industry here. The concierge and building managers are so sweet and extremely helpful. Wouldn’t be happier anywhere else 🩷

I like being in the salon. This is the best place i have ever visited. The Concierge Val is amazing and so caring, provides all information you need. Definitely recommend. I’ve been visiting this place for over 1year and not interested in looking for another place.

I’ve had a Studio here for seven years and it’s the best experience I’ve ever had ,the best part is that our concierge Val is an awesome person and whenever you need anything, he’s right there helping you there’s no drama and everybody is excited about everybody else’s success. I’ve been doing hair for over 30 years and rentinga suite isn’t easy but i am glad i chose salins by jc. The owners are very kind and i have no plans of ever leaving.

I love salons by JC! Jeana, Bob & Val are the best! They are very accommodating and helpful! The facility is has a great ambiance and is super clean and well kept! 10/10!

This place is the hub of beauty care. There are so many beauty specialized professionals, like nails, skin care, mens hair, color..etc you name it. The concierge is very friendly and helpful.

I go to Nate here, and he is amazing! He is so talented and a true artist. He has me loving my hair!! He is also so much fun. Highly recommend him !

Salons by JC is a well-maintained and very clean collection of salons of all kinds. The owner has been very sweet and directed me around the building many times. I love visiting my hair LC here, as she always does a great job with my cut and color.

Shear Vixen is the only person I will ever let touch my hair ever again. She is professional, personable, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. If you dont know what you want, she will help figure it out. And then she delivers! She checks in throughout the process to make sure youre liking what youre seeing. If you want to change it up, she adapts.I had no idea my hair could look this good, even months after a cut and color. I have never had so many people ask who did my hair! Thanks Vix!

This place is like going to a hospital but for your hair. I like the one on one that you get to have with your beautician. The owner is also very nice.

Go see Nate at NJR! Hes been my stylist for 4 years and is masterful. Cut, color, custom shave: hes game for a challenge, accommodating, and super fun. So sad I cant take him when I move.

This is like a salon incubator and is a nice idea and decent facility. I go here to see Jay Jay (JMA Salon), a lovely person and stylist.

Went to see Josephine for a loc retwists super friendly very kind I never seen my locs come out soo beautifully awesome experience definitely will return to her from here on out

(WHEELCHAIR USER) Front door has automatic door opener button - great for wheelchair users! There are elevators to the 2nd floor and hallways are very spacious. Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible as are sinks.

Convenient location for all types of spa and cosmetic procedures. I had lip tattoo done at Skyn Studio.

Great mixed shop for small practitioners! My stylist has everything she needs and the smaller offices make it a lot quieter.

I absolutely loved Ann. She did a fantastic job with my hair

LC is a very thoughtful and talented hairdresser. And the price is very reasonable in the neighborhood (it depends on hair length).
