I went in July for my first-ever massage, and I had a calming and lovely experience! Tracey was my massage therapist, and she made me feel so comfortable! Ask for Tracey, and make sure to shop their amazing products! :)
I did the 75 min Lux Facial here, the esthetician was good, accommodating and attentive. However the routine of the facial was underwhelming per price and quality of the place, I was in and out within 75 min so the facial in itself isn’t 75 min. Easily accessible, staff were friendly. Very zen and calming place!!
Customer service here was not great! Miranda was very rude over the phone with me.We were cutting it close for our graver period because there was a lot more traffic than anticipated for a Sunday. I’m not sure of her name because she didn’t have a name tag however, she has black and blue hair. called and I explained to her that my mom was upstairs already and I was struggling to find a parking spot. She said that even if I was there a minute after the grace period she would charge my card and I would not get my services, even though my mom was already inside checked in for our massages. She was VERY VERY rude to me. I parked my car in a random spot and sprinted to the spa within a minute of her about to charge my card. She didn’t great us coming into the door either. I was so upset and anxious I cried going into the locker rooms. She purposely didn’t have on a name tag but I think her name was Miranda. The other staff and guest were great! We spent a great deal of money there and were treated like complete trash ON MOTHERS DAY! Please consider someone else when it comes to customer service. My massage was amazing and Direnda did an amazing job in helping me to relax after the debacle.
Had my first massage at Milk & Honey Gold Coast this past Saturday as a bday gift. I had Deidre and she was AMAZING! Probably the best massage I have ever had and I will definitely go back and request her again. Thanks Deidre for a fantastic massage and making it such a relaxing and calming experience.
My wife got me a 90-minute massage for my birthday. She selected Diedre M. as my therapist based on all her 5-star reviews for excellence. My experience confirmed why Diedre’s considered one of the best! It was a phenomenal experience and an amazing start to the day! Going forward Milk + Honey will be on my list every time I visit Chicago. I highly recommend booking Diedre M. She’s a kind person with healing hands that will transform your life, or at the very least, your day!
I recently visited Milk + Honey Spa, hoping for a relaxing and rejuvenating massage. Unfortunately, it fell far short of my expectations. The service did not meet the standards of a reputable European wellness center. The staff seemed to lack a basic understanding of the aesthetics and principles that define a quality wellness experience. From start to finish, my visit was unsatisfactory and stressful. I regret to say that I will not be returning. If you’re looking for a truly relaxing and professional wellness experience, I would advise looking elsewhere.
I will sing Serina’s praise as an esthetician to anyone who listens! She is knowledgeable and brings years of experience. We talked throughout so she could provide answers about my skin and the routine and care that would be best for it. It was a great value for the great treatment she laid out for me during my appointment. I will definitely be back!
I booked an evening massage with Monsura and she was attentive to my needs and found the knots in my neck I didnt even know were there. The space was so relaxing with beautiful lightening and facilities. I will definitely be going back. I recommend this spa to anyone looking for a high end service!
Tevion is amazing! I went in for the first time two months ago because I was given a gift certificate, but I ended up buying a membership because he was so amazing. I had pain in my shoulders and neck that I always thought I had to live with, but Tevion not only helped ease it, he told me ways to stretch and other ways to help alleviate it at home. I never felt so revived and refreshed after any massage, until I came to milk + honey and saw Tevion. I cant wait until my next appt!
What a wonderful experience. Had a gentle yet firm sports massage. Deirde was so sweet and had great hands. The place was so beautiful and clean. Loved the robes and slippers too. Lots of bathrooms, showers, and great products for sale. All the staff are friendly and they got light snacks and flavored water. Would highly recommend.
Easy location, clean facility, very friendly staff… however, the chairs in the mani/pedi area are VERY uncomfortable, I had to sit straight up during my pedicure. I didn’t miss the water but why not have a comfy chair? Also, it is kinda gross and unhygienic for the nail techs to set their trays with their tools directly on the floor. Is this cool with the health department? My absolute main complaint is that the person taking my payment asked OUTLOUD what my gratuity was going to be… uuhhhh gauche much? I would much rather tip in private, but I had no access to that. So I don’t even know if my bill was correct. Anyhoo, definitely trying to put forward a chichi spa experience but falling short of the mark. Not worth the very high price we paid…
I decided to try out Milk + Honey this past week. The inside was very cute and the staff was very welcoming. I had a great experience while I was there, but my post facial experience has been nothing but a disaster. I am truly disappointed in the recommendations made by my esthetician. During my consultation, I made it very clear that I have sensitive skin. The woman recommended a medical grade moisturizer for my skin. I trusted her recommendation, because she should be knowledgeable in skincare. Two days later, my skin has broken out into acne, rashes, dry spots etc. I have never once had this happen from a facial or a recommended product by a “professional.” After researching the product, she recommended me a moisturizer that has 16 different skin irritants, and it is ranked very high for irritation. I feel steered in the wrong direction, and now I am left with a face full of acne and a lot of money wasted. I was told that a manager would be giving me a call to resolve this issue and I have not heard anything since.
This was my first experience at Milk and Honey and I opted for the 60 min facial. The place is really cute and welcoming. Danielle was my esthetician and she was so sweet and knowledgeable. I told her I like being informed on products used and the process, and she really took the time to walk me through everything. Overall it was a wonderful and relaxing experience and a great way to celebrate my birthday. I will definitely be back!
I had a reiki massage with Cindy and wow she is amazing! Prior to this I read all the great reviews about her and knew I had to see her for myself. We started of by reading my energy and I was blown away by how accurate she was in describing what my blockages were and where they came from. I’m truly grateful to have been able to experience this with her and the next time I’m in Chicago I’ll definitely be seeing her again.❤️
Hopped off a plane from LA and went straight here. Let me tell you, Chicago is LUCKY to have Cindy. It was one of the best, most personalized massages I’ve ever had. She incorporated Reiki and I walked out feeling balanced and lighter. Thank you Cindy!!
I went to milk and honey for the first time for a facial, eyebrow tint and hot stone massage and it was the WORST experience I have ever had. I will not state the aestheticians name as maybe she was having an off day however the facial was so unrelaxing, there was no music playing so all I heard was clinking and clacking the entire time. She took so many breaks to the point they were more breaks in the hour facial than actual facial time. Finally, we got to the brow tint. I asked for darker brows as I am blonde and fair skinned and have very light eyebrows. She suggested a black or a bluish black, which I was horrified by and asked if there were any browns to choose from. She showed me a handful and I chose the lightest one. THANK GOD I DID. She completed the tint and proceeded to leave the room and let me know that the service was over. I got up and went over to the mirror to see what she had done and I was horrified. It looked like two uneven, unsymmetrical caterpillars had landed on my face with dark splotches all around them. I ran out of the room and asked her if she accidentally left the tint on and could remove it. She proceeded to tell me that it’ll be a little darker for the next couple of days and that it would go away however this is not something that it was going to look any better in the next couple days given how splotchy and uneven they were. She came back in and wiped some off but they were still horrifying and so I asked for the solution so I could wipe them off myself. I scrub so hard that my eyebrows turned bright red, but was able to get a decent amount off. I proceeded then to head straight to the restroom and continued to scrub with warm water and soap. I went back out because I still had my massage to go and the manager came over because she could see i was upset. She told me she would fix it after I was done my massage. Andy gave me the hot stone massage and it was great too bad I barely got to enjoy any of it because I was still shaken up from earlier. After it was over, I ended up leaving because I just could not be there any longer. I frequently get facials and eyebrow tints and this is the only experience that I’ve ever had that has been this horrible. I paid $418 and would never do it again.
One word: Cindy. Hailing from Bali, she is a force of energetic WOW. I have had a lot of massages in my day but she immediately assessed my needs, and zeroed in on the impactful solutions utilizing a mixture of sound healing, shiatsu, and myofascial. I told her I’m referring to it as a “Prism Massage” - it literally changed my lightforce. Bent it, like a prism 🌈 in the best way possible. I feel loose, alive, softened ‘round the edges. Amazing! I only wish I lived here and could see her regularly. Don’t sleep 💤 go see Cindy.
Really lovely spa!! Imani gives a great facial, so relaxing and she is so knowledgeable and educated me about my skin and what products to use. The front desk staff was so nice and helpful. I can’t wait to return!
I can’t speak highly enough about my experience at milk + honey. Deidre is such an incredible massage therapist. I always leave my appointments feeling like my best self! ✨
My daughter and friend recieved their first facial today and Mystique and Chelsea made them feel like queens. Sincerely thank them for their professionalism and welcoming attitude.
Really enjoyed my massage with Monsura B.! She was so attentive, kind, and provided a very personalized approach. Highly recommend the overall spa experience and quality care they provide there!
My pre-natal massage with Candace was lovely. It was the best my body has felt this entire pregnancy. I loved the ambiance. I just wish I could take advantage of the steam showers in their locker room.
I went in for a massage, manicure and pedicure. The massage was amazing and the guy did a great job! The women who did my nails was very unprofessional during the whole experience.
My best friend treated me to a massage, and it was everything and more. Robin and Deja did a phenomenal job. I feel so relaxed, and we will definitely return.
I was gifted the signature massage and facial and I am a changed person! The entire experience for me was amazing, the staff were very friendly and explained to me everything in detail! The interior is just amazing with the best amenities once you enter the locker room. You are given a robe and slippers to wear during your time. The locker rooms feature a steam room, shower, and multiple hair products to use before or after any treatments you have scheduled. The main lounge area is beautiful and you have access to light snacks and water. The massage that Candace gave me was wonderful. I have been thinking about it for days after I went. My facial was amazing as well, a great deep cleanse of my pores, which is way more than I would have expected from a signature facial.Would definitely come back myself and bring a friend!
Had an appointment that I took the day off for and 30 minutes before I received a call indicating the person I booked with called out and that they could put me with a male provider but there were no female massage therapist available for the rest of the day. I personally do not feel comfortable with a male provider and didn’t request a specific person, I just asked that I be placed with a female provider. Tried rescheduling but everything was inconvenient to my schedule (since you know I took the day off to do something nice for myself) and I was so frustrated I ended up just saying forget it and I was no longer interested. I was offered a discount on a future service but why would I book another appointment here? If anything since this was so close to my appointment the next service should be free. Never mind I paid for parking, my time was wasted and nothing was done to make it better but for the premium price of this spa this is poor customer service. I understand you “can’t make people come in” (as I was so lovingly told) but to not understand the frustration or how this is inconvenient to someone’s schedule is mind blowing. Highly disappointed and I will not be returning/booking any other services.
Amazing staff and great ambience! My facials have always been amazing and I leave with a glow. However, with comparable prices to other spas in the area, I’m disappointed with the lack of amenities. Only water, dried mango, and a few mixed nuts in the common area. The bathrooms are small and don’t offer sauna. The spa is also extremely cold and extremely BRIGHT. I think if they worked on the ambience a bit more it would reflect the amazing staff and medical professionals. I’ll come back because they do an amazing facial but will stick to my other spa for massages and amenities.
I never leave reviews, but feel compelled after a particularly bad experience. I came to milk + honey after seeing good reviews on Google, as well as a referral from a friend. My husband and I came for facials together (and from out of town), and showed up to the appointment to find out they could only take one of us. One of aestheticians was sick, which I understands happens, but was a weird experience.I proceeded with my facial, because I didn’t think we could both leave?, and it was a pretty horrible experience. I’ve had many facials before, and it was very clear this “aesty” had no experience. I was most excited for extractions, which I communicated to her, and found out they use a special tool that did nearly no extractions at all. Nothing by hand, nothing felt in depth or personalized. The facial was short, and after, I asked several questions about the skincare products she was recommending and it was clear she had no clue what she was talking about. She was recommending water based products and then showed me only oil based products, and no thoughtful answers about why she was recommending specific products. The icing on the cake though, was i woke up the next morning with chemical burns. The facility is beautiful, serene and I wanted to loveee this place and I didn’t. I will not be back.
Milk + Honey spa is absolutely amazing. As I prepare to move away from Chicago I had to write a review as I’m going to miss my frequent visits to Milk and honey the most. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. Everything you are looking for when it comes to self-care. I frequently get facials. Chelsea is very knowledgeable. My skin has improved so much as a result of her care. I recently completed a 60 minute massage with Monsura and it was heavenly. The staff always provides handouts with recommendations and little take home tips which are super helpful. The ambiance is amazing and gives an extra kick of sweetness and confidence. I recommend this spa for alone time and time with others.
I am writing this with very mixed reviews. The space was lovely, the staff (for the most part was great), I had a wonderful facial and massage, yet there were many areas for improvement. Be aware when you book multiple services, it is scheduled back to back to back with no time in between services to use the restroom or really just relax for 5 mins. It was difficult to find the concierge between services for questions or really find any staff in the lounge to help transition to the next service. It was unclear if it was appropriate to wear the robe in the nail area as it located in front lobby and not the main lounge. The staff became extremely agitated and hostile with me when I was late for the next service as it was unclear if I had enough time to shower after my massage. The staff made it clear that my actions were making her behind schedule. I apologized numerous time and asked for express service or to skip it, but eventually ended up in tears during the service because the situation was tense and hostile. It was a very uncomfortable and overwhelming experience. The staff did eventually compensate her services and I received a discount on my other services. Overall, it was a nice place but it needs to give better directions to first time customers with multiple services so they know the expectations. And the staff needs to be trained on how to keep their composure even if they are behind so the environment does not become hostile.
My husband and I visited this past weekend as part of our anniversary trip and it was one of the greatest highlights of our trip. I have been to plenty of spas in Chicago and other big cities and this is now at the top of my list. From the lovely young lady downstairs that greeted us to, one if the mangers (Caroline), to the young lady that checked us out, I felt every member of the team that I encountered was warm, made us feel welcomed and relaxed. To start, I called the afternoon of December 31st after being canceled on by another spa and was hoping to find something. I was able to book a 90-minute Signature Massage for my husband and 60-minute for me, although our appointments were different times, I was grateful to get in. Also, I enjoyed sitting and relaxing in my robe and slippers with plenty of light refreshments. They have a large area for sitting and relaxing that is calm and serene. Both my husband and Im massages were top notch and both therapist (Autumn and Robin) made an effort to give us tips and stretchs for after and at home care. The aromatherapy during the massage was something I never had experienced and elevated my massage session. I cant say enough good things about milk + honey spa. It is a must do for locals and for tourists, you will not be disappointed.
Amazing first experience there with Kate for a facial. She was knowledgeable, attentive, gave really personalized advice and made me excited about my skin for the first time ever. Will definitely be going back!
I cannot recommend the Milk and Honey facials and mani/pedis enough. The staff are timely, professional and so so knowledgeable. I love coming to see Imani for my facials. She just understands my skin concerns, and all the nail technicians are solid. 💛
Superb service and calm environment. They are a pricey Gold Coast spa experience, but if you know what youre paying for, its well worth it. They sometimes have new customer deals too. Youre never pressured to buy any products, and staff have had great customer service each time.Clients are encouraged to arrive a little early or stay a bit later and relax in their lounge with tea and little bites, and theres a full steam shower in the locker rooms. I appreciate not feeling rushed out of a massage to make room for the next person!Monsura was a great masseuse, she asked questions at each area about appropriate pressure, any pain, or focus points to give more attention to. Highly recommend :)
Wow! This spa was amazing! Everything about the experience here was so intentional and relaxing. I highly recommend the deep tissue massage by Tyrell. He was incredibly professional and very clearly well trained in his craft. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. My fiancé surprised me for my birthday with a 75 minute couples massage and a 60 minute minute facial. The facial was a great experience with Breanne as well! She gave me some great suggestions on how to hydrate my skin and new products to try. Everyone here was so friendly and it was a very tranquil experience overall. What a treat! We will definitely be back!
Had a lovely time here! Easy to book, great range of services, and amazing facilities. My friend and I both did the Signature Massage and had great experiences. The decor is so pretty and calming - well be regulars here, for sure!
Went here for a birthday weekend treat for a facial and massage. Right when I arrived I knew I made a good choice for a spa day - the whole building is relaxing, clean, and clearly newly renovated. Before my appointment time, I was provided with a comfortable robe and slippers, and waited for each of my treatments in a lovely waiting area where each of the providers promptly met me. Tea and water was provided. On the specific treatments, the masseur did a great job focusing on areas I wanted to target. And the estetician left my face feeling peefectly smooth and poreless. I finished my day with a steam shower, and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
This spa and staff are amazing! I was met with their wonderful concierge staff that made me feel welcome. Danielle, my aesthetician was extremely kind and knowledgeable and explained the products being used and their purpose. This was important to me as this was my first facial. I was interested in the products that benefit my skin and get into a better skincare routine. I will be back and may utilize more of their services!
Although the feel of this spa was modern, I didn’t feel that the massage was worth the money. I booked the ultimate massage, and I enjoyed the options of oils and massage lotions; however, the massage was subpar at best. I have so many knots in my neck and shoulders, that i did not get any relief after spending over $250 and 2 hours in this spa. The only decent part of the this massage was the dry brushing and the hot oil scalp massage. The staff are ok, but they’re not overly friendly and welcoming, and they do not explain anything to you, as mentioned in other reviews as well. Also, there was not a clear, obvious area to check in or check out.I definitely feel that I could’ve better spent my money elsewhere.
The atmosphere in the spa is very clean and relaxing. Entire staff were great! I was greeted as I walked into the spa area and offered complimentary beverages/snacks. I had a 60 minute facial by Jade; she was beyond amazing, extremely knowledgeable and offered some products/suggestions that I will incorporate into my skincare routine. I will definitely come back.
Ehh. Waste of money. I got a pedicure here and it was the worst pedicure ever. My nails werent even filed even. I arrived at 9:15 and I was told the service would take 45 minutes. I left at 10:15, I didnt even get my toes polished. Would not recommend at all.
This spa is fancy and I usually feel out of place when visiting such luxurious venues. I have never felt condescended to, insulted, shamed, nothing from this staff. I suffer from a few chronic conditions that make my shoulders nearly immobile with stress. Deja, the masseuse Ive had for both my visits, was fantastic. She beat up my shoulders just like I asked her to, made conversation, but didnt disturb the ambiance, and even wrote down some stretches and product recommendations when I expressed that this kind of service was a big treat for me. I ended up getting a membership because my body is in a state and found out you can even transfer (with proper notification) your monthly service to a friend or family member for a nice gift. Love it so far.
I had such an amazing first time experience here. Tevion, the massage therapist, was very professional and knowledgeable and you could tell he really enjoys what he does at work. I highly recommend both Milk and Honey and Tevion as your massage therapist when booking.
Front desk lady didn’t greet me and also had AirPods in the whole time she was showing me around. The facial wasn’t great. No music in the room which was pretty awkward, and it felt like my facialist was really rough with my skin. Left with a rash and my skin flaking.
I had a signature facial at this location and Katie was amazing. She was knowledgeable, addressed all my concerns. My skin looked great after the facial. Also, they have amazing products specially there natural deodorant works wonders.
I know this is a newly opened spa and while it was a great experience, I think theres a few places they can improve. When I got there, I called at the buzzer and no one answered. I ended up calling the number and talking to someone, who said they would get someone to let me in. After waiting 5 more minutes, I buzzed again and was let in, exactly at my appointment time. The amenities were amazing and the products were excellent too. The space is beautiful & has a lot of nice areas where you can relax before or after your massage and still feel in a private space. Kudos to the layout & design. I think theres a few opportunities for improvement - for example: the tea is labeled on the bottom the container but it doesnt tell you if its caffeinated or not. I think one was called cup of love which tells me nothing about the flavor - it was also a little odd to pick up every tea to have to see what flavor it was, although I understand the aesthetically its nicer. There was also no place to discard the tea bag in the waiting area. Finally, the waiting area had cups & trays of other patrons as there really wasnt a place to place used dishes. I was also surprised that I didnt find any face wash or lotion in the locker room. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair products were all top notch, as expected. My massage was incredible, Joel was an expert and did an excellent job talking me through breathing and releasing some tightness. He was extremely knowledgeable and did the right amount of talking and letting me relax. Thank you Joel! However, the room was quite cold with cool air blowing on me throughout the massage and there wasnt a warming mat on the table. Also, I was a bit surprised the oil & lotion wasnt warmed. All in all, I would absolutely go back, just for the massage and hope that some of these opportunities are addressed in order to create a flawless experience. Since they are just opening, I do expect they will continue to make adjustments and I look forward to returning in a few months!!
It was about the time to treat myself so I decided to visit Milk and Honey at Gold Coast.I had the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!Everything from the staff to facility was amazing. I had Karolina for my facial and her hands are magical. She made me feel comfortable and talked me through the entire treatment. Thank you for making my skin glowing.See you soon ladies.
I just want to thank the amazing staff especially Serina for taking care of my girlfriend she got a facial and she is beyond happy with the results she’s super friendly and professional
It was a really nice experience here with girl friends! The environment is peaceful and clean, the technician who did facial to me was patient, nice and professional! She didn’t push to sell but I really the products they use! My face looked glowing and soft afterwards! Will definitely come back again!
Got a bikini wax here and the person who helped me was very nice and made me feel comfortable overall. It’s very cute inside and has a nice waiting room where you can wear robes if you’d like. Would definitely go back!
One word for y’all…I-M-A-N-I!Okay…my very first experience here was not the best. I decided to give it a second chance before cancelling it completely, and received services by Imani.OMG!I am a spa bum and am faithful with facials. I don’t skimp in these areas…ever…so high quality experiences are required and let me just say that Imani’s treatments are top tier! I haven’t stopped coming to her since, and will NOT! She is very knowledgeable, and skilled, and I believe I have fallen asleep each time after the fort treatment I had with her. For reference, I do face and back facials and she is stuck with me!Booking is easy and while so don’t do massages here, the setting is serene and conducive for the services I receive. I typically go on Sundays and when it’s busy (as it is most times), I do note that it would be too busy for a full spa day/massage setting so I take care of that elsewhere. Back to the point of this review: I-M-A-N-I! She is the best!
My massage at milk and honey was great! Lupe, my masseuse, was fabulous. She was super knowledgeable and constantly made sure her pressure was just right. I will definitely be going back!
First and foremost I love the atmosphere super clean and peaceful. I want to thank Stephen for his amazing work. I loved that he asked questions and listen to what I wanted but also knew what I needed. He made me feel very comfortable during my massage and felt brand new after. Thank you Stephen for being a dedicated therapist!
I think the spa is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, however, my overall experience was left with a bitter taste. This was my first time to Milk + Honey and I am disappointed with the service I received - a Massage Envy vibe with higher end spa prices.I was scheduled for a Signature Spa Facial (priced at $150 for 60 minutes) and was upsold to the Lux Facial ($195) during my treatment (typically scheduled 75-90 minutes - mind you my appointment was still set for a 60 minute slot). My aesthetician first asked if I would like my makeup removed (I only had mascara on) and I said sure. She informed me it would be an added charge of $40 so she could then apply an eye and lip mask. I denied the service. She then mentioned she thinks instead I would deeply benefit from a deep exfoliation (I assumed this was part of the facial) but long story short she mentions yet again that this would be an added charge for $45. At this point I was extremely turned off and I said yes to the deep exfoliation to avoid any further selling points and to get on with the treatment.I was asked if I prefer oil or regular moisturizing creams, and I mentioned regular creams because I tend to break out with oils. The aesthetician and facial overall were nice, but towards the end of my appointment I was informed, “I know you mentioned that you didn’t like oil moisturizers, but I used it anyway, I think you will like it.”I rated my experience a 1-star because I felt consistently forced in to buying an additional service. BUT more than anything, if I am being charged for a 75-90 minute Lux Facial, do not charge me the full amount for a 60 minute time slot. Milk + Honey, if this is your business tactic, it’s extremely disappointing. I felt pressured, I feel robbed of the actual service I paid for and it was apparent that my preferences were intentionally disregarded.
As a person who gets a lot of massages, I can honestly say Lupe gave me the best massage of my life. Typically I will experience moments of discomfort or pain, but for the duration of a 2 hr 15 minute experience it was absolute bliss the whole time. She clearly knows the body extremely well and gave perfect pressure. The facilities are lovely, the staff was friendly and the dried mangos they leave out as a snack really hit after getting turned to butter on the massage table. 10/10.
I had an amazing experience at Milk and Honey Chicago. I had been to the TX location previously, and was excited that a Chicago location had opened. I got the massage with Deidre and the facial with Naiah, both of whom were great professionals. Deidre was kind and attentive and during the facial, I had the least painful extractions I ever had.
Went in for a gel manicure that immediately peeled off. I contacted customer service to see if I can get it fixed and the best they could offer was for me to come back in and pay for a new appointment (with a 15% discount). This felt odd to be asked to pay more for a bad job, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and an opportunity to make things right. However, it’s near impossible to actually schedule this appointment. How is any of this ok for a manicure that costs over $75?
Ive been going to milk and honey for 6 months now and I have loved my facials with Imani. I have tried other facials in Chicago but they havent really worked for my skin.I struggled with acne and redness and my skin has improved a lot since my treatment. Imani is very kind and meticulous. She makes sure to explain the treatment to me and recommends products that are personalized to my skin needs. If you are looking for a facial in Chicago, I would HIGHLY recommend booking an appointment with Imani!
Truly a luxurious relaxing experience. Love the decor and vibe of the place. Steam rooms after massage are a great way of showing after service care. Look forward to my next visit soon!
This is my second time visiting the Spa, I never realized how much stress I was placing on my body from the type of work I do. My massage therapist Deidre is very knowledgeable and pin point trouble areas, looking forward to coming back.
I attended the spa last month and it was the most disorganized booking experience imaginable. When one of my package services was canceled, the staff offered no alternatives or accommodations. Further, several times I was told that my services were rebooked/rescheduled/canceled without notice. After several confusing phone calls, emails and day of interactions, I had a very mediocre facial that the spa both started late and finished early. Upon checkout, I was told I was compensated 20% off my service and gifted the full range of full sized milk & honey products - in reality, it was a few tiny sample jars.book elsewhere. period.
Had a great massage! The locker rooms were very clean. I had some difficulty finding some sandals for me (I’m a size 10 and I had to look in several unused lockers to find sandals). Received no pressure from the workers to buy any of their products!
I wanted to treat myself to a facial. Its been way too long! I picked milk + honey because of the proximity and availability of appointments. Both a plus. The space is lovely, but the very first thing you are greeted with is their store and that seems to be the theme. The check in process was a bit unorganized and as a result, the employees appeared frazzled. The locker rooms are very nice and clean, but the woman that gave me the tour spoke very quickly and rushed through. You have to go locker to locker to search for a robe. No rhyme or reason to the sizing. If you wear anything over a size 7 narrow in shoes, forget about using their complimentary slippers. I had a 75 minute facial. All in all it was very nice, but before the use of each product, I was read the description and ingredients off of the side of the bottle and was then told it would be at the checkout for me to purchase. I was there for a facial, not to go shopping. Sure enough, when I finished up, there on a table were all of my products to purchase. The team at checkout seemed equally as frazzled as the team checking in. The woman looked at me, pointed at the lotions and cleansers and serums stacked up for me and said, those are for you to buy. Just odd. Yes, my face is hydrated, yes it was relaxing (for the most part) but I also still have several visable blackheads too. Ill try somewhere else next time.
I was gifted the signature massage and it was the best massage Ive ever had. Justin knew exactly where my pain points were and helped me out so much. He is awesome!!
I had a facial with Jade and it was an amazing experience! The spa is very calming and the perfect little getaway. I especially appreciated the locker rooms and amenities for post appointment care. 10/10 would recommend!
Beautiful, high-end Medi-Spa. Highly recommended. Had fabulous massage with Autum! A++
5 stars go to Joel and the administrative staff for their incredible service and level of professionalism, which creates a great atmosphere and is the reason why my partner and I come so frequently for massages.
Imani gave me a wonderful facial! She also gave me a great product recommendation for my skin and it was a brand I already trusted/use. All around, great experience and I will be back!
Nobody answers their phone here in Chicago and when attempt to put my call back number (too busy .. too long of a group of people waiting in queue?) they wont accept my phone #. Pathetic - must not want business.
Had a wonderful massage and a great facial. It’s such a beautiful place - super relaxing and everyone there is so nice. I will definitely be going back again soon!
Have visited twice and had a great experience both times. Imani gives wonderful relaxing facials and Shauna gave me an awesome gel mani! Now I want to try the massages options too!
I would love to say thank you Justin at Milk + honey spa. He was great and very professional. I highly recommend people to come here and get a deep tissue massage or more! He is great!
The atmosphere is exceptionally relaxing with a chill mood and positive healing vibes going. My therapist, Monsura, was EXCELLENT and quite knowledgeable!! Ill definitely be back.
Monsura gave me the most heavenly deep massage. The spa is so light, airy and calming in the middle of the Gold Coast. A great way to start the day!
Trevion, you listened to my body’s pleas!! Thank you for educating me on the anatomy of my pain! You’re highly recommended.
Dridre was an excellent masseuse- very thorough. I was so grateful to have her! The facilities are simple and clean, and built sustainability. I had a great first-time experience!
Excellent service and friendly staff. We came from Austin and booked two separate 60 minutes massages, well treated by the staff and I walked out feeling a million bucks
Joel gave a fabulous massage! A massage therapist’s therapist!! He knows his stuff and hits all the right areas. Very intuitive.Thank you Joel!!!!!
I had the 75 signature facial & it was glorious! Staff were very nice & welcoming. My esthetician was very knowledgeable.
Best day spa experience hands down!!! Everyone was so professional, and polite during our entire stay! Robin and Lupe were phenomenal-would highly recommend!! I can truly say I have finally found my day spa home!!
I saw Deidre twice for massage therapy. She was amazing. Very personable and took the time to identify my needs. I will be back this weekend! Thank you Deidre.
Deidre was wonderful! I absolutely loved my massage!
Very average facial for $150. Basically just applied two face masks on me, let them sit for a while, wiped them off and applied a moisturizer..very minimal face massaging, tools and products used on my face
This was my first experience having a massage. I was very impressed with my therapist Ery, she did an amazing job!
My friend and I visited yesterday and it was FABULOUS! We had facials. I highly recommend this place. Everyone was so nice and not pushy with products. We cannot wait to come back for another visit soon. Thank you Milk and Honey!
Came in a few days ago for a massage by Claire, outstanding service and left feeling refreshed! Always a great experience.
Had a wonderful spa experience! Diedre was kind, welcoming, and provided a relaxing massage! Will definitely return.
Beautiful space, lackluster experience for a pedicure that was not worth the price. I do not recommend for a mani or pedi at the current prices as the service did not reflect the online description.
It’s always the best to get my massages here. Every massage therapist is amazing.
Monaura was amazing great massage
I felt so relaxed it was heavenly, definitely be back asap!!!
High quality massage and well decorated/ maintained/ clean facility.
Joel was great! Beautiful space.
