This place is a mess. People must come here for the go-go dancers cause it’s sure ain’t for the service.This place is under staff and the bartenders scam you for tips.I ordered 5 shots for me and my friends from one bartender and the bartender must have had amnesia because he never made them and started making drinks for other people.I went to a different bar to order drinks and when I paid.. the little machine to pay forces you to pay 25% tip or higher. The “custom” and “no tip” button don’t work. So I was forced to pay 25% tip.Don’t recommend this place unless you want to see some go go dancers.

Cute place. However, they need one or two more bartenders. Especially at the “back” bar, AND when you pay.. the tip amount is shady. 25% or more. lol can’t click anything else weirdly… but other than, Gogo boy were cute. Good verity. And USUALLY good music.

As a solo traveler, this place was a great stop. The music is good. The talent is friendly. And the bartender Matthew is very nice and welcoming. Will definitely be back my next time in Chicago.

One of my favorite places to go - I imagine its similar to what queer nightlife mightve been like a few decades ago. Places like this are difficult to find even in other major cities in the country. I recommend it if youre a queer person (particularly male identifying, most of the crowd is).Please dont bring your bachelorette parties here - its not a space for that.

Will definitely be back. The lions share of the dancers were getting into it. The only thing is that the dancers seemed to be at the mercy of the DJ, so some of them were more into the tracks they got than others. Lap dances were 10/10

Only stopped by for a bit for a couple of drinks as I was checking out all the bars during my visit. It seemed like the guys paying for lap dances were having a good time I guess - so if thats your thing, seems like you get your moneys worth.

Very cool that chicago has a place like this! I went here and stayed for not very long but saw some very fit guys dance!

Don’t go here if you want the most horrible service. We were there last night and our bartender Tony was extremely nasty the moment we walked it. He did not even acknowledge us when we sat down, continuously ignoring us. He then CLAPPED on our face in a rude matter way saying “I’ll take your order” and after that we did not want him to, rightfully so, so we left the bar. Also, the bartender discriminate against women here, they will treat you like garbage if you’re a woman. I told the other bartender we wanted shots he replied with “make it simple” this is disgusting. Worst experience ever. Please go to better fun bars, this place is NOT worth it.

It is usually the first bar we hit on our night out. My husband and I have been coming here since 2001, when I brought him out to the clubs and places to buy LGBTQ shirts, etc. He was like a kid in a candy store. So getting back to the bar, we have always been treated well. Not every stripper comes out way, but some do. We have had some great conversations with these young men and one even helped us out with places to eat and to go. The bartenders have been nice to us too. I guess it helps to tip them too. I recommend checking it out. Its not for everyone and its nothing fancy, but we always can stop and let our hair down so to speak before we go dancing or see a show. Its a great place to start or end the evening.

Went here for the UNCAGED show and sat at the front bar. The bartender Tony was extremely rude from the start. And when I got the bill it was EXCESSIVE. And when I asked why it was so much for two drinks he told me “we only sell premium liquor here so” and sauntered away. My friend then asked if he could get a little more vodka in his vodka redbull that tasted only like redbull and Tony said “that’ll be an extra $6” when my friend said no he said “oh bummer” and stormed off. This is the worst service I’ve ever had from a bar.Thankfully I went to the back bar and explained my situation to the bartender Rob and he thoroughly apologized for the way Tony treated us and actually explained why the drinks were how they were. Because of our experience he was kind enough to offer us a shot each on the house and made sure we felt heard. I would give this more stars but the experience with Tony really turned me off. I won’t be back to this bar. Rob however was fantastic and I appreciate him and hope he gets the best tips.I know this is Chicago and boystown, but to be charged $30 for two basic drinks was excessive. And to not be given an explanation and instead blown off, was the icing on the cake on why I will not be here again. Tony needs to have better customer service skills. He clearly doesn’t understand how to talk to people and de-escalate a situation.

Belligerent drunk bartender working the front bar on Thursday 11/3/22 lost our debit card behind the bar and accused us of never handing it over to him. Bartender was very rude, condescending and yelled at our face when we asked for him to look for our card. From the moment we sat down we noticed the bartender to be visibly intoxicated and it was difficult to get his attention because he was busy drinking with friends and stumbling. Trying to work through this issue with him was impossible and very frustrating since he was slurring his words and didnt care. He shrugged his shoulders, put his hands up and said he didnt know where our card was. We were done dealing with this person and decided to walk out. This person should not be working as a bartender.

That bar lost serious money because of a nasty bartender Tony. He’s the worse thing that happened to that bar. Do yourself a favor and go to a friendlier bar don’t get me wrong the strippers were nice but the bartenders were rude and they sucked. I could not believe the disrespect that we were given by them I would never go back or recommend this place.

Depends on who you interact with, but they make good drinks. They have hot guys. And employ guys of all races. I do find a bit of the white-preference from time to time, which is unacceptable. The establishment is consistent though with drinks, and most of the guys it hires. Also, theres an asian dancer maybe 25-30, built well, who has been there for years, who is super hot. hes nice. Staple for me when I go.

I have to say that your experience depends very much on the people that you interact with. One night I feel that the gentleman entertaining me is genuine and earning his tips the next visit another fellow makes me feel cheap and a little uncomfortable even though in still paying him good money for his time... I ended up paying lap dance money just to be close which other men will do for dollar tips. The second the lights came on he split with a freshly placed ten dollar bill in his briefs.

Who doesnt like to drink with some eye candy? Horseshoe is a really chill place, fun atmosphere, but the crowd really makes it. The dancers are all fun to look at and range in style - no need to worry about cookie cutter dancers here. I make it a point to stop in here every now and again when I get to Boystown, its just a fun bar.

I wish I can give 1000 stars less. My best friend and I we have Bing going to that place for more then 8 years. and tonight one of the dancers came to our table wile me friend was in the bathroom. I told him my friend is sitting on that Cher and he told me I dont give a fk Im here to make money. I told to the manager what was happening end he didnt do anything. I strongly recommend you to not going there no body cares about customer any more

Visited from Seattle last weekend.Hey, its a downmarket gay stripper bar, fun and safe. The dancers vary in looks and approachability, mostly very easy on the eye and return tips with good attention.Drinks are about average in price.

The strippers here are friendly and some of them are scorchingly hot. This is a quintessential neighborhood strip club. Keep the tips flowing to bartenders and dancers and watch the red carpet roll out! No attitude, just good old fashioned neighborly good times.

We stop at Luckys ever time we cum to Chicago. Always a great time! Drinks are a little weak, but the dancers make up for it. 20 dollars lap dances, semi private on the floor are always the best.

Really rude bartender with the large glasses on Thursday nights/ Friday morning February 13th/14th . They wouldn’t give me his name but he literally just denied to serve my friends and I simply because my friend ordering for drinks is a Spanish speaker and he didn’t understand him . He told us, “No, no , no” . And then came back with the excuse that he didn’t serve us because he looked too young when his ID has already been checked. Baddddd serviceeeee !!!! Just him , not everyone else. First bad experience I’ve ever had here . Ruined my night and my perspective for this place . Love everyone else though ❤️

Nice place to have a drink and dance. Some stripteasers dance and you can tip and put a dollar on his underwear. You also can have a private dance for more. A good place to have a lot of fun with some friends. ;)

Awful. Work for a performer who is in the public figure and happened to have a show in town at a major multi-purpose sports arena and her and her dancers were looking for a place to party after. I called the bar once to try and set something up and was hung up on by the rude bartender. Called back and the manager yelled we dont take reservations. Was not looking to make a reservation, was just asking if they could accommodate a group of about 20. The performer whom was looking to come in usually leaves tips in the 6 figures - bars loss really, but learn some damn manners. Terrible place.

I’ve had good experiences here in the past but an unsavoury bartender and his unconscious bias changed that this evening by exclusively directing his attention to my white partner even though I was paying, and the one asking him questions. These types of microagressions toward people of colour are not ok in 2018. To be clear, I don’t need your white gaze as validation (believe me barkeep— you’re ordinary), but it’s straight up transparent and disrespectful to “accidentally” hand change to the person who didn’t actually pay you, and then completely ignore the person asking you a question by deliberately answering the person you would prefer to ‘flirt’ with. A disappointing and desperate loser. Rude, borderline racist and easily avoidable. We left immediately.Otherwise a perfectly trashy dive.

Usually they have very cute dancers! Drinks are normal price, be nice to the staff and tip them bc the boys dont work for free!

Nice bar with great space and potential. I went for happy hour which is a bit early for this place and was alone with just me and the bartender until 7pm when people seemed to start drifting in. Huge potential!

Love this place! Be prepared to tip for what you want. Never understood how people could have a bad experience at a strip club. Just dont fall in love, have an idea of what youre willing to spend, and youll have a blast!

Sad they require the covid vaccine card to get inside of the bar, and we come from Iowa and there is not require, also I have their Facebook page and Instagram and also the Twitter account ,but either of those said a disclaimer or note telling to people are visiting they need to bring the covid vaccination card ,sad,sad and sad probably next time we bring it with us

The staff at this place are discriminatory towards people of colour. While sitting at the bar with my boyfriend who is a POC, the staff would only engage with me and not him (even though he was the one ordering / speaking to the server). This is totally unacceptable!!!! QPOC watch out for this place.

Don’t pay with cash. Bartender will give you change for 10 when you give him 20.
