The best massage of my life! Nedra made me feel so comfortable in her space and then allowed me to completely turn off my brain and just receive the gift of a peaceful massage. 10/10 would recommend whether you’re local or in the Loop on vacation or business!

Possibly the best massage I’ve ever had. Nedra was such a pro. The pressure was perfect. The ambiance was very relaxing. And the oils she used have left my body feeling moisturized but not too oily. Highly recommend & I will definitely be back.

My massage saved my vacation. I had been suffering from chronic headaches that had gotten so bad I was thinking of heading home early since it was hard to enjoy anything. As a Hail Mary, I searched for massage therapists near me, since my experience with hotel spas are that they tend to be more relaxing than therapeutic. I feel so lucky to have found Nedra. She is highly gifted and I felt so much better just even 5 minutes into the massage. Its nearing the end of the day and I havent had to take any pain medication- which was unthinkable 24 hours ago. Wow. I initially saw this place online almost a year ago, but either appointments were booked up or I wasn’t nearby at the available times. I kept checking back. Well…I was able to book my first appointment and I see why people rave about her!! Nedra is THE best!! Words can not express how amazing Nedra is as a masseuse. She listened carefully about what my goals were for the session and then asked great follow up questions so she could customize my treatment. My wife suffers from chronic pain and we are visiting Chicago from Seattle. Despite many years of PT and other treatments, her only relief from the pain is through massage. There are a few good massage therapists in Seattle that help relief my wifes pain through regular sessions and we were looking for someone while we were in Chicago.Nedras very positive reviews and that she graduated from the Chicago Soma Institute gave us hope. However, after a 90 minutes massage, my wife only had a little relief with her hip pain. There was no difference for the rest of her body. Its frustrating because my wifes pain is very debilitating. To not get pain relief makes it impossible for her to enjoy the time in Chicago and it will make the upcoming flight home a nightmare.I understand that some massages are just for wellness but the Meticulous Massage website claims that the massage I booked for my wife is for pain relief and further claims Relieves tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Great for athletes! (see attached screenshot). Despite that description, with the exception of the hip area, the massage my wife received was superficial in nature.Lastly, the massage is very expensive compared to other options in the Chicago downtown area at $225 for 90 minutes and after the massage the suggested tip options were 25%, 30% or 35%.

Nedra is a fantastic person and expert on what she is doing. My experience with her massage therapy was one of a kind. I’ll visit her whenever I revisit Chicago.

Wow! Where do I begin?! As a clinical massage therapist, its extremely difficult to find therapists who do detailed work that meet my standards. I was very skeptical before I went in to my appointment, but Nedra did not disappoint! She is the most competent, meticulous, and empathetic massage therapist I have ever experienced. Her space is clean, beautiful and calming, shes highly professional, and a great host! Her services are worth every penny and more. I really wish I could purchase gift cards for all of my friends and family.

Nedra is outstanding. I had traveled to Chicago for a work trip and after suffering from nagging pain in my neck and lower back, I booked a deep tissue massage online at 11pm for lunchtime the following day. The space she has created is inviting and calming. The massage itself was tailored to my specific needs with appropriate pressure and I felt so trusting of her ability to work into those tricky spots. I left for my flight feeling much better and I would go back the next time I am in town.

I’m normally hesitant getting a massage on vacation that isn’t at a hotel or big salon but took the risk and it was so worth it. Nedra takes the time to make the room very comfortable to your preferences, explains everything well and is very skilled in her craft. I’ve had many massages and this one is up there in quality. I initially scheduled a 90 minute massage but as the time progressed and I felt the knots gradually soften in my back and neck, I asked if she would be able to extend it to 2 hours. Nedra creates such a whole rounded experience at her massage space, with special lighting that you can choose to your liking, and all kinds of different scents and treatments. She’s so kind, thoughtful, and generous! She even sent me home with a gift bag , see picture, with the oil I liked and eye mask and the retinol cream I added during my appointment, And - a thank you note that was hand written! She definitely is meticulous (!) super attentive to details which is exactly what I would wish for when coming to a massage treatment. I actually had a cold so I came in under the weather and walked out being able to breathe again as she opened my sinuses!! I really recommend trying some of the add ons as they really give that extra special pampering feel! I added the retinol, sculpt, face massage and gold eye treatment and I noticed the difference afterwords.A wonderful place in the perfect location! Nedra is fantastic at what she does. I was in Chicago for the marathon and went to see Nedra to relax and stretch out before the big day. I had a 90 minute massage and knew that my hips were very tight and she incorporated stretching and the right amount of pressure in order to relieve tension and ensure I was ready to run. I wish I lived in the area so I could see her more often!

Nedra is the single most talented and professional massage therapist that I have ever met. Her studio space is clean, spacious, and well thought out. Her décor is relaxing and tasteful, and I was incredibly impressed by the variety of oils and scents that I could chose from. She knew just how to accommodate my larger size by tucking plenty of extra towels under my shoulders to help keep my neck and upper back supported while I was laying on my stomach. She listened carefully to my troubled areas, and she spent a lot of time working my hips in ways that no other massage therapist has ever done for me. Usually other therapists will say that theyll work on my pain areas, but they really only spent 10 minutes. Nedra spent close to 45 minutes working just my left hip that was absolutely killing me that day. I literately limped in to her office and afterwards I walked to Navy Pier and back without issues! I splurged for the two hour massage and I dont think Nedra spoke more than four words that entire time. Having silence without asking for it was an incredible treat. Ive had plenty of good massages before in my life, but this was by far the best massage I have ever received. I was both physically and mentally better after receiving a massage from her. We have had massage treatments literally around the world on 5 continents, multiple times and this experience was hands-down the BEST! We got the Royal Treatment from Nedra (NEE-dra, with a long “e”). This 2 hour treatment refreshes from head to toe. I have never felt so relaxed and peaceful after a treatment. I have had over a 100 spa experiences and massages and I have never had one using Nedra’s techniques. Unique and innovative that led to real healing in my lower back and shoulders. The use of hot stones to massage the back and legs was incredible, especially after walking 20+ miles over two days in the Loop. Then the cool stones for the facial was unique and refreshing. I get a chair massage from Nedra at least once a week. It’s amazing what she can do for me in just 15 minutes. She is amazing! Firm but gentle, she makes all my little aches go away. I missed Nedra so much when I was working from home. The only good thing about being back working in the office is my weekly chair massage with Nedra. She helped relieve the muscle tension and pain in my right shoulder (before the massage I could barely lift my arm up enough to take my tee-shirt off) significantly with just one session. Her studio lives up to its name, Meticulous, in every way; ambience, cleanliness, peaceful. Nedra is very kind, caring and obviously quite excellent at her craft. If i could give Nedra 10 stars I would! I was visiting Chicago from London and have been staying in a hotel for over a week. The bed has caused me all sorts of aches and pains so I made a last minute same day appointment to see if a massage would help. Nedra is absolutely fantastic and its honestly one of the best massages ive had. I travel regularly for work so flying constantly is a nightmare on the body, Nedra listened to all my ailments and then put together a focused treatment. Hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had. If you’re an athlete, you MUST go see Nadra at Meticulous Massage. She is the sweetest and her studio is adorable! The best part is her craft!! You can tell she has a ton of training and experience and her technique is out of this world. As an athlete, we have old injuries, muscle tightness, sore tendons, you name it, we have it. Nadra was able to release tons of tension (I just ran a marathon two weeks ago) and I’ve never felt anything better. She had these release points where I would feel muscle tightness just release in another area. I can’t rave how incredible Nadra and her technique were. I’m running the Chicago marathon tomorrow. Nadra asked me what my problem areas were, addressed them and more, and wished me luck at my race. I messed up my back boarding a plane to Chicago. I was in so much pain and had 4 hours to kill in Chicago. Luckily Nedra had availability that worked out perfectly. The best massage have had in 8 years. Able to feel where it hurts without saying anything.

Katrina was amazing! She did a quick assessment before we got started and I explained my problem areas, to which Katrina was very attentive. She made sure to address all of those areas during the massage by adjusting pressure and even incorporating light stretching as needed. It was perfect!! I felt so much better afterwards.
