While walking the 🐶 I noticed a fragrance that reminded me of Southern California & decided to take a closer look. Mike & Jocelyn were such a delight to work with. I scheduled a acupuncture appt let’s see what the healing has in store!

This is an Oasis in the midst of the city.The massage therapists are knowledgeable, skilled and professional. They provide amazing products of skilled artisans to pamper the body and soul. I always feel a sense of calm the moment I walk thru the door!

We have been doing private couples Pilates with Alex for the last 6 months. Alex is an incredibly warm person and an awesome Pilates coach. He keeps the classes interesting while customizing them to our needs. In these 6 months, I have improved my overall flexibility, core strength and my posture. The L&A studio is a calm and cozy space. I find myself wanting to go earlier just to chill in the lounge area.I have also gotten a deep tissue massage with Leo, and it was incredible.We are lucky to have Alex, Leo and the L&A studio in the south loop and I strongly recommend everyone to experience the offerings here.

The massages are great!The rooms are kept warm with tranquil music. The full body massage was very relaxing. The deep tissue massage really stimulated my muscles.The staff is very friendly.An overall positive experience!

L & A Healing is a marvelous studio. It is immaculate with wonderful ambience. It is an all inclusive, Spa environment! The artistically design interior filled with arts, crafts and exercise.Leo, Alex, Michelle everyone there is top-notch, and they extend themselves above and beyond. I have also had superb massages with Manny. I have bought lovely jewelry and spa items.Seasonal art programs for children and adults. A wonderful addition to the community.Metered street parking in front, CTA bus accessible! A must visit!

Cant express in words how grateful I am to my massage therapist (Janie) who works in conjunction with the my doctors at the VA to find the root of my issues. Together they have helped me find relief and taught me the importance of self-care at the same time. I like this place so much, even had my brows done. Rhema gave me amazing results. Yes, I will return many more times! From check-in to check out the front staff are kind and patient.

This place has everything! Yoga, Massage Therapy, Dance classes, Jewelry and Art Classes, Fitness Classes, and fresh flowers + Plants! Ive gotten multiple massages by Leo and he is EPIC. He fixed up my lower back and hamstrings making me feel like I was in a whole new body by the end of the session. Ive also done their BYOB paint your pet night on fridays and I had SO much fun and now have a beautiful art piece that I got to make myself hanging in my apartment. Their flowers are also THE BEST FLOWERS IN THE SOUTH LOOP. I truly cannot get enough of this place.

L&A is such a lovely space. The most beautiful jewelry hand-made by the owner. Flowers, plants and the best smelling local candles. Great place to grab gifts! Also Pilates, fitness classes and spa services. Can’t say enough great things about this place and the lovely team of people here!!

Updated review:Ive been coming here weekly for more than a year and I honestly dont know what I would do without Leo and my regular massage therapy! And Rhema and my occasional Extra massage. I have chronic pain and fatigue and massage therapy is an integral ingredient to my pain management. I wish I could afford MORE! If I could Id come every day its so good!Plus, Ive grown to really appreciate a very friendly relationship with Leo, Rhema, Alex and the other staff. I feel very at home here and I really love all the services offered and beautiful merchandise available. Ive purchased several gift sets for work appreciation projects and everyone always loves the soaps and candles we send.Ive also had acupuncture here when my pain goes beyond what massage can help with.I also love that they rent the space out for small events at a reasonable price, and offer several classes. I havent been to one yet...but one day I will!

When I first went there was new to me and didn’t know what to expect, but man im glad I found out about L&A healing. My body has feel this good in year they do in amazing job. Proof is in your first visit try it out.

This place is amazing, for so many reasons! I have been going here for over two years after finding it in my neighborhood. Alex teaches amazing classes that I love, including Body Remix & floral arrangements. His unique handmade jewelry sold here is perfect for gifting (yourself or others), along with other bath/body/wellness products from sellers Id never learn about otherwise. Leo is an incredible massage therapist, he always finds trigger points I didnt know I had. If you love dancing, you *must* take a class with Dill - we are lucky to have her in the South Loop! Towayn is a knowledgeable acupuncturist who asks the best questions to determine treatment. I recently had my least painful wax session with the skilled & soothing Flor, who also provides esthetic services. Highly recommend, there is something for everyone in this inclusive space!

Hidden gem in the south loop.Went for my first massage (with Michelle) and she convinced me to try acupuncture. I loved the massage so much, I gave it a try. Call me converted because it was a truly amazing experience. I highly recommend Michelle!!! I also met one of the owners (Alex).

I have been going to L&A for a little more than a year now. The experience is always amazing. The owners, Leo and Alex are always welcoming and professional. Their dogs Xander and Burt are also very welcoming and adorable. Most importantly the services are excellent. I receive acupuncture from Towayn and massages from Leo. They always begin on time and address all of my needs and I leave feeling like a new person. If you have not visited L&A you are missing out.

I love L&A Healing! The owners Leo and Alex have created a welcoming space and wonderful business for a variety of needs. Leo has massaged me several times. After the first service, I knew I would be back for more. I have been in knots and left in utter bliss. He will be my massage therapist as long as Im in Chicago! I had the best experience in this boutique today. I was walking by and noticed the lotus flower and one of the window shops as well as the plants. I walked in and really love the energy and the layout of the shop. There were so many different things to purchase into look at it really was exciting to be in there. The cashier, I’m so sorry I can’t remember his name, was very nice and even gave me a tour around the building. I purchased two pieces and plan to go back to get some more. I really enjoyed being in the shop.

Flor was absolutely amazing! It was my first time getting waxed with the particular wax she uses. She was so attentive and answered all of my questions with grace. She made sure the experience wasn’t too painful with her pre-wax care ritual and also the after care.I am definitely booking with Flor again! ♥️

I just left L+A after receiving my first service there! Leo was absolutely amazing and hands down the best massage I’ve ever gotten. I have alot of health issues and he was so informative and helpful in regards to educating me on how I can really improve some of my body aches and pains!! I already booked another, I will be trying acupuncture, and even when I move, I will continue to go back there when I’m no longer in the area! 10/10 recommend

I cant comment on the services but I have been calling this facility for over a week now with general questions. No one ever picks up the phone no matter what time of the day I call. I left a voicemail and noone has yet to return my call. 😕

Oscar made our first time at La Healing Studio wonderful and helped us pick out perfect Mother’s Day gifts. He made gift baskets that were unique and special. You can’t find this service at any other shop!’ They have the perfect gifts there! They have fitness and yoga class that we may check out! Worth visiting!!

I dont get to visit this magical safe haven very often anymore and Im way over due for a massage but Leo and Alex have the most amazing space with so much to offer! From health and wellness to useful crafting, the calming environment and overall knowledge available is so inspiring. L & A Healing Studio is my favorite place to be. L + A Healing Studio is my home away from home. I was referred by my group fitness instructor to Leo for massage therapy. When I arrived I did not know what to expect, but Leo and Alex make me feel like one of the family. They are truly genuine and loving people. Leo has helped my with pain management for over a year. If you have not been to to L + A Healing Studio, you should defiantly try them out.

I’ve been coming here for massages, and the experience has always been very pleasant and wonderful. The shop is always clean and smells wonderful, and all of the massage therapists are well trained and cater to your needs. Scheduling is easy, and they also provide parking passes! I’m very grateful to have discovered this place.

Leo is the best massage therapist ever! For the longest time I’ve had back issues and have been to countless massage therapists and spas. No one even comes close. A friend recommended Leo to me and and after the first session with him, that was it! He’s amazing! He works on all my knots and aches and by the time he’s done, my body is completely relaxed. All the pain and tension just melts away. If you’re looking for the perfect massage, look no further. Leo works miracles!

The owners, Leo and Alex (L&A) are the most wonderful small business owners you’ll ever meet. The space is a welcome addition to the area with it’s chill vibe. Lots of enrichment here, from Yoga and Pilates classes, massage therapy and retail therapy, L&A has what you need for self care and to melt away the stress after a hard day’s work. There are also jewelry classes taught by master artisté and co-owner Alex. His work is divine. You can see the attention to detail in his pieces and he draws inspiration from his travels. His collection (Monsieur Pamplemousse) is available for purchase and they range from simple, beautiful stone pendants to elaborate statement pieces that will dazzle at your next big event. Leo and Alex also sell local artist’s work so there is no shortage of creativity for sale in addition to the various coffee and tea makers, flowers, plants and apothecary goods; it’s difficult to not walk out of the retail front without at least a small bag in hand, big smile on your face and definitely a happier you.

Ive been going to L&A for a little over a year and have come to appreciate not only the professionalism and kindness of Alex and Leo (the owners) and staff but also the quality of each product AND the services.EVERY item Ive taken home seems to become my favorites (especially during quarantine) —and friends and family (and clients) have gone out of their way to thank me for their products. Because of this trust, Ive made it a point to *always* purchase a candle when I stop in and light it right away when I get home. I was joking with Alex that I think hes a Wizard!RE: Service. So many words! This was my first place for acupuncture (Victoria!!) and Ive since sworn by it as part of my wellness routine. I run a small biz to things can be HECTIC. Ive also tried and loved the massage therapists (Sarah!!) and the facial — and just being there really relaxes you into a space of calm and care. BONUS — Try Alexs in house only tea. Its too good.RE: Yoga + meditation. Similar to the services by the practitioners, L&A has clearly hand-picked their instructors — and trust me this is not big box yoga [not that there is anything wrong with it]. Ayurveda yoga. Sound therapy. How yoga should be, or so I hear!As a Chicagoan who appreciates relaxation, I am so thankful for L&A!!

Horrible first experience. Me and my boyfriend had an appointment at 12 pm, thinking that it will be done simultaneously, like we were told. Therapist took in my boyfriend (without asking who wants to go in first) in and started working on him while he was working on some other patient in the other room and kept walking back and forth not even acknowledging me in the waiting room. He finally approached me at 12:55 when his other patient left, but I definitely did not have enough time for a session at that point. I waisted more than an hour at that place for nothing. It would be a different experience if someone had bothered to communicate, explain time issues or even acknowledge me in all that time. Disappointing treatment of a first time customer. Needless to say that I won’t be coming back.Response to the owner:Both of our appointments were at 12pm, no one EVER mentioned the second appointment being at 12:45. Even the therapist told my boyfriend that he will start working on me right after he sets him up but he was in fact working on a different client. Double booked obviously. Are you really continuing to be rude after you left a client wait for 54 minutes after scheduled time? And yes, I did have work after, what exactly is your point? I took time off for acupuncture appointment that never happened.

Victoria Sous is the best at acupuncture and cupping. I have been seeing her on and off for two years and she is Amazing . She always knows how to fix my aching body and give me herbs to help my health. She actually listens to you about your health goals and makes treatments calming and very personable. She has the best herbs in the South Loop. I have gone to other acupuncturists and herbal places and L and A is the place to go for acupuncture , cupping and herbs. I have also gone to see Manny for a massage. He has the hands of an angel and is a gentle soul!

I love LA HEALING STUDIO. They have so many services for whatever ails you. The owners Leo and Alex are amazing and MONA the new addition to the team was another great addition to the team. I love going there, because they make things personal and they truly care. Theyre not just trying to sell a service. The LA HEALING TEAM are continually finding ways to keep their clients happy and healthy. My massage therapist MANNING is amazing and a wonderful, delightful young man. Im wish they add a 2hr massage therapy session🤭. I never want my massage to end. Victoria has given me my life back. Since doing acupuncture sessions with her about 7 to 8 sessions. My ailments has decreased by 80% and Ive been able to decrease my medication by 50%. I feel alive again thanks to the lovely and amazing Victoria Sous and my massage therapist MANNING as well as the ❤ and support of the additional team(Alex, Leo and MONA.) I wanted to say thank you to the awesome team. As time as gone on I truly appreciate LEO, ALEX, VICTORIA, MANNING AND MONA. Each visit they already has a plan played out. Leo brought attention to something I wasnt even aware that acupuncture could help(dental) Victoria had a protocol for my other ailments and added that along with it. The results were amazing. Victoria always come to the rescue, shes awesome!!!! Just ❤❤❤ her. MANNING is so good before I know it the hr and half is up and Im all the way zen. Alex is the sweetest, kindest person and always concerned and wants to make sure you leave feeling ❤. MONA has become special to me and always make my visits fun. Support your local small business! Alex and Leo have an amazing space that is a must see. I saw Leo for a massage and I must say it was the best massage I’ve had in Chicago. Ok practice but horrible professionalism. Booked concurrent appointsment for me and my partner, tight timeline. Confirmed on the phone. Confirmed at the shop. Confirmed with the acupuncturist. With no warning or mention left us waiting for an hour. Won’t be coming back.RESPONSE:Person on the phone confirmed they could see us at the concurrently at THAT time but have to do it different in the system. I confirmed with the desk when I arrived. I confirmed with the acupuncturist. I was talked to first and invited in, with the thrice confirmed understanding I would be immediately followed.

Would not recommend this place.I booked a microdermabrasion with ClassPass on Tuesday to try this place out and received the service with Ruth. Ruth was very nice and attentive, however the service was only 30 minutes when it stated on ClassPass that it would be 75 minutes. I feel like I did not receive the full service for the price that I’m paying.After the service I begin having rashes on my face and neck, there wasn’t any service done on my neck so I can’t help but think that it is the hot towel that is not clean. I tried to reach out to the establishment on Friday to ask for advice on what to do and if this is normal reaction but it was read and receive no response.Overall it was just not a good experience and would not recommend it to anybody. Almost a week has been past now and my face and neck is not any better and I don’t foresee it to get better any time soon. Wish I would’ve seen a comment like this before I book this place.

This review doesn’t have anything to do with technicians, I’m sure they are lovely and great at their jobs. The communication and customer service that I just experienced, however, was poor. I arrived for my appointment and was told that I needed proof of vaccination (which I have) AND a negative COVID test within last 48 hours…. I booked through class pass and wasn’t informed about the test requirement… whoever’s fault it is that I wasn’t notified, I don’t actually care. I get that we have to be cautious and am annoyed but understand why my appointment couldn’t take place. HOWEVER, I did not appreciate the owner’s attitude toward me about it. He put all the blame on class pass and was very dismissive of my frustration like “oh well, too bad, come back next time in compliance.” Look: I have a small baby at home and it takes ALOT for me to get out for facial appointment right now, so Alex, next time show a little more compassion and understanding. That’s all I ask.

I’m a army Veteran receiving acupuncture here ! I was extremely Unsure on receiving acupuncture treatment at first,Well let me say I’m very comfort with the services I’m receiving! Ms.Victoria Sous is a Gem! I’m was uncomfortable with the lighting she made the necessary adjustments!! I am getting regular acupuncture and acupuncture with stim and I can feel a difference in my body all ready! My headaches are also a lil better too! Looking Forward to the possibilities!

Sarina is a wonderful massage therapist!! I have dreadfully tight knots in various places, and she is really good at finding them and getting them to release. Whatever shes worked on always feels brand new when shes done. Highly recommend!
