Wax Man Spa

Ive always used clippers to do my manscaping and Id be happy with it, but it always left that sort of prickly stubble. I always wondered what getting a wax would be like, but Im the type of dude that feels a little self conscious and bringing myself to actually try it... That was a whole different story.. Maybe it was being a little self conscious or worried about being judged, but personally Im a little neurotic and it was a rough hurdle for me to jump over.But I finally got myself in there and they couldnt have been more cool. I think they sensed I was a little apprehensive and went above and beyond to make sure I was relaxed. They did tell me it was common for first timers and that alone made me feel better knowing it wasnt just me being weird or something.As for the results... smooooooooth baby! It feels so much nicer and my girl doesnt complain about my chest feeling like sandpaper lolThey also had a variety of facial creams and detoxifying balms that I wanted to try out after doing research on the skincareaddiciton subreddit and knew everything I was trying to talk about and gave me a lot of great info. I have a pretty mean face and was hopin to smooth it out a bit - a little moisturizer goes a long way lolUgh this is so long but seriously shoutouts to Julio, Adriani, and Jacky - Straight up rockstars - easy 5 stars

Had my first ever waxing done and couldn’t be more pleased thanks to the wonderful Ricardo Adriani! He made it such a pleasant and relaxing experience. He is so sweet and walked me through the entire experience, definitely coming back! I strongly recommend them with new clients who are not familiar to the waxing process.

Ive been going to see Thena at Waxman for over a year now. I try getting in every 6-8 weeks and, quite frankly, Im spoiled. I wont let anyone else but her work on me. Shes fast, very thorough, and a pleasure to talk to. Shes well skilled at her craft and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Julio is amazing! My first time waxing and he made me feel so comfortable. I travel from Atlanta to Chicago often and will always book my waxes with him.

First time ever getting waxed and I was admittedly shy going into the whole thing, but Julio made this whole experience so much better. He made me laugh the entire time, but kept things 100% professional and gave me some great tips for after waxing skin care. Very service oriented and personable. Julio is always energetic and upbeat and willing to go the extra mile to make you happy with your service. Brad is professional and very detail oriented. If its your first time waxing and youre not sure.... they are the men to see. I always feel safe and in good hands there..should I ever have a worry they bend over backwards to change something to accommodate me. Highly recommended!

This was my first visit to Waxman Spa and it sure will not be my last. I have been looking for a new spa and now I have found it. Im very fussy when it comes to my hair. My best cuts had always been while abroad. By far. Not a bad excuse to travel to Europe, but also not an option.My constant search for a local salon that offered the same cutting edge style and technique but at an affordable price landed me at Wax Man Spa & Salon. Ive been very happy with Julio. He takes the time to explain what he thinks would work best with my type of hair and facial structure while being mindful of current trends and styles. His knowledge of hair has also allowed him to accurately suggest products to ensure my scalp and hair are at their best. While they carry excellent products they do not in any way push you to buy.I have not as of yet tried any of their additional services, but I have been very pleased with my haircuts as well as their professionalism and relaxed, fun and friendly environment.

Well I was nervous but Ryan was awesome! I got a Brazilian and for being a first timer, stuff like this can be intimidating. But this experience was amazing, I will definitely be going back to Ryan for maintenance. Hands down an awesome experience!!!

Okay experience. Passion waxed my eyebrows a little thinner than I like but I wasnt very specific so thats not on her. She also got some wax in my eyebrow that pulled a couple hairs from the center of my brow when I got home.When I was greeted she wasnt wearing a mask. It was a little jarring considering the current climate we are in. She put a mask on for my wax but promptly removed it as soon as we left the room to go to the register to pay.Probably wont be visiting again until after I get vaccinated.

Julio Was Amaxing. I Got A Chemical Peel From Him. He Was So Quick With The Service. He Gave Me A Oxygen Facial In The Middle Of My Service To Help Cool My Skin. When I Left My Skin Immediately Felt Better. The Next Day I Was Even More Amazed. MySkin Started To Peel And Glow. Today Is Day 3 Of My Peel And I Couldn’t Be More Pleased. I’m Beyond Happy. This is a small spa with a great staff and incredible list of services at reasonable prices.

It was ok ,the lady that did my ears left a good amount of hair and on my nose she missed all of the bottom hairs. Wont be going back. And back as well.

At waxman spa I had a microneedling treatment to activate the collagen in my face where I began with a deep cleansing with completely vegan products.
