My 11 year old son is trying to grow his hair longer and my husband and I struggled with how to help him style it. Hailey did a great job cutting and styling his hair. It was the best haircut he has ever had!

I go to Mitchells for manicures and pedicures on a regular basis. Everyone in the nail salon is friendly and professional. My nails always look great. They are always on time. I feel comfortable and welcomed always. I would recommend 100%

This was my first time here. I normally dont go to nail salons because its frankly exhausting with most nail techs these days trying to bully me into more expensive packages that I specifically said I didnt want or more expensive nail polish (like gel) that my nails simply just cannot handle. Im used to people scraping the skin off my feet when I tell them to please not remove my entire callouses because I need them (I am a climber). But that was NOT THE CASE here. It was AMAZING. Sarah was the sweetest person ever. She was so kind from the minute she came to get me. She was gentle and yet very thorough. She used tools that cleaned up the rough spots on my feet but were not at all painful. She was so cognizant of what I felt most comfortable with on my body. She did an amazing job. Plus, while I got the express pedicure, I didnt at all feel the quality of the job was rushed. It still felt like a true pedicure. I asked her about layering two colors of nail polish for a unique finish and she was totally on board. I just felt like all my requests were asked about and honored. Happy to tip heavy here. The service was unmatched.

I am seriously disappointed in my experience. I went and used my gift card for my nails and a pedicure. I was highly disappointed my nails starting to chip within hours after me leaving. My pedicure was quick and feet were rough. Called spoke to a manager she got me back in a day later with another nail tech and the nail tech was super nice and intelligent but my nails did not last yet again. I have been getting my nails done for 5+ years no problem. It was very uncomfortable coming back it’s like the staff knew I complained. I am super disappointed in wasting my gift card on a service that didn’t last even a day 136.00 waste of money.I will not return to this salon to feel out of place or even waste my time. Did not seem like the staff cared about my situation anyway.

A hair salon staff that is tone deaf and tone blind!All puns intended - Not only did I have multiple consultations and rescheduling errors but the execution and skill all around was poor. Started with virgin short hair (dark sandy bronde) a very easy lightening job. The first session turned out a strange Donald Trump, Guy Fieri hybrid job that was sloppily done: it wasn’t highlight, it wasn’t full color, it wasn’t balayage- idk wth it even was. The girl was sweet so being put in a position of GUILT + frustration is so stressful. She simply didn’t use the correct approach yet in the consultation was confident. I was scheduled for a fix (with Hana?) who was caught off guard that I was even put on her schedule so she sent me OUT stating that my hair wasn’t properly done thus needs a Sr. level who can color correct (Hana seemed to be the only one with bedside manners and HONESTY with the result) The fix involved multiple bodies and THE manager yet they still somehow missed several full chunks of my natural hair? The 2nd take yielded a strange Mrs Claus with my roots LIGHTER than the rest of my hair and dark streaks. They cannot blend or shadow if their life depended on it. Now I know why most of their clientele is elderly. I was put in such awkward situations multiple times. The manager at times tried to blame my hair, the ‘director’ who was supposed to be color correcting spoke to me so disrespectfully when I asked about the technique + essentially told me to go to other salon where they’ve never botched my hair. I was in tears on multiple occasions from frustration + embarrassment, had to drive there and be sent home. I had a skin resurfacing peel before (bc I didn’t anticipate needing a bunch of hair appts) so my skin looked nuts to boot so I didn’t need multiple sessions of people in my face during this healing process- Younger women know what I mean😅My hair still isn’t proper looking so have to go to another salon to slowly salvage a normal looking blonde or color. Save your time, the integrity of your hair, and respect and go to better professionals.

I have been hesitant to write this but at this point I feel like I have to a year ago I went to the tricounty location for a color correct where my hair had been lighten (with a low developer I might add) to remove dark color it was pretty patchy and I wanted it evened out and cover with another color like a brown she said I would have to put a level one back on my hair I said OK maybe this appointment shouldn’t happen and I should just continue to wait and grow it out because I didn’t want that. She insisted that she could do my hair and when I asked her if she could do a test Strand to make sure it would be OK. She immediately followed up with no we don’t do those here. Fast-forward a few hours later, my hair was literally falling off in chunks in my lap. Someone in HR told me to drive to the Hyde Park location immediately I did they assessed my hair told me it was pretty much blown beyond repair but the Hyde Park team did work really hard to try to repair it more so Mila and Hannah! They offered conditioning treatments at no charge and refunded me my money and I appreciate that a lot! That was never the issue the following year after that was the issue. Even though my hair looked better, it was still completely damaged so I knew really the only thing I could do was chop it off. I did chop it off very short grew it back out again to my back, then chopped it off again. I Tried to go back to pump because that had been the salon I’ve gone to for years after a year of treating my hair, cutting it growing it out. She was fine to do my hair until she saw my profile call Hyde park and then all of a sudden she won’t touch me I said OK I’ll go back Hyde Park then go back to Hyde Park to see what they can do with very low expectations meet with Hannah who is absolutely amazing. She gives me another cut does a test strand confirms that my hair was in a lot better shape and was OK to start moving forward with a low and slow lightning process! We were going to schedule it 6 to 8 weeks out that same week I got invited to something big and important. I tried to call and get him with Hannah to go ahead and Do it now unfortunately she was booked so I just asked them to send me anywhere anywhere that could get And I would follow up with Hannah I go to Kenwood meet with Nicolette who was absolutely amazing. She confirmed that My hair could be done and did a test strand For the next day, then I get a voicemail from the manager at Kenwood saying that she was going to cancel my appointment They weren’t willing to touch my hair And I needed to go back to Hyde park and see a stylist that I wasn’t even Or had seen in a year But that stylist also wouldn’t do my hair With a lightning service. It was really blown out of proportion the stylist really could have just said no. All the managers and the vice president calling each other and all the extra BS really wasn’t needed And it really felt like I was something dirty that no one wanted to touch Long story short, I went somewhere else They did my hair. It looks amazing. It feels amazing. It’s so healthy. I’ve never felt uglier than in the one year I went to Mitchell’s. Do better. Also telling me that It wasn’t Hannah’s decision to make to do my hair when I’m pretty sure I was paying Hannah to do my hair is absolutely nuts. Treat your stylist better. Because Hannah was 100% right

I saw Victoria for a pedicure over 2 weeks ago and my polish still looks perfect! I had such a relaxing time, can’t wait to come back :)

I had a great experience during my perm consultation appointment. The salon was clean and inviting. All staff were friendly as well. I like the self checkin process - it was very easy. My consult was with Natasha and she was very knowledgeable about the perm process and talked me through it. She went above and beyond by testing some strands of my hair that were previously lightened to ensure my hair could withstand the chemical process without damage. It was a great consult and I look forward to my perm appointment within the week.

Ive been to three of their locations and received great service at all. The ease of scheduling online is so awesome. I know of no other place where you can so easily schedule an appointment less than 24 hours in advance without having to call. As someone who often waits until the last minute, that efficiency combined with highly skilled stylists is priceless. I definitely recommend Mitchells Salon.

I went for a haircut, color and conditioning, massage, and pedi. It was my bd gift. They did a fabulous job. Everyone was so nice, professional, and on time. It was expensive but Ill go back when I wanna treat myself to greatness.

Heather is great at offering the kind of massage I need on every visit. She makes me feel comfortable and relaxed and is very professional. The Rookwood spa is very welcoming!

I recommend Jamie for a massage. He was extremely professional, kind, checked in frequently to make sure I was comfortable- I think it was the best massage I’ve had in Cincinnati and I’ve tried multiple places. Definitely coming back!

Unfortunately I was really disappointed with my service experience last weekend. My husband and I were scheduled for a massage and facial to celebrate our anniversary. They called the morning of to state they had an employee who was out and couldn’t accommodate our appointments. While I understand issues occur, they were not accommodating in helping us find an alternative date nor offered any type of discount or make good for the inconvenience.

When I just moved to Cincy I went there for a nice relaxing facial, massage and etc. it was cute. I’ve tried couple of other places since then but thought it would be nice to do it on my birthday again. My husband got me a gift card and booked a 90 minutes massage and pedicure for my birthday. He did that in advance. On my birthday he received a call that a person called out. Happens, right? But no suggestion has been offered. I called myself. Nothing really available. And they won’t refund money for the gift card! The receptionist put me on hold to talk to her boss about it. Just a bad customer service experience and sad that they simply do not care. For them it’s a routine appointment they’ve cancelled with no apologies or care but it was special for me on my special day

My 60-minute aromatherapy massage with Heather was phenomenal! I will definitely treat myself again at some point. Well worth it!

I had an exceptional experience today at the Rookwood Salon. I called last minute to try and get in to get a cut and color. They were able to get me in at 12:15. They booked me with Hanna. She had never cut my hair before and I was in desperate need of professional help. My color and cut are perfect and I could not be happier. The Rookwood salon has been remolded and I felt like I was in NYC at a high-end salon. I think Hanna is a very talented stylist and “cut above” even the most experienced and talented.Thank you to Mitchells Salon and Day Spa for helping me during a hectic time in my life. I left feeling relaxed and less stressed and looking 100% better!

0 star!! 0 star!!What a terrible experience with Mel! Went in for a bridal trial and it was a nightmare! She doused my hair with oil, and then took a curling i hair, you could literally hear the sizzle! She teased my hair from the ends! She really damaged my hair!! I literally looked like I had just rolled out of bed when I left there. I am mad at myself for paying, but I’m not the type of person to complain. I just left in tears, scrambling to find someone else to do my hair! Everyone I’ve shown the picture to says they cannot believe I paid for it! When my fiancé saw me, he said that girl just wanted to make sure you didn’t come back! That’s how bad it was!! Even the girl checking me out said let me go see what she wants to charge. It was ridiculous!! I certainly didn’t expect this from Mitchell’s salon! My appointment was under my maiden name. The Madison road location is where I was on 7/26/23. With Mel

Leaving 5 stars only for Jasmine. Her massage was top notch. I will rebook with her. I would encourage all Mitchell’s locations to do better soft skills training with their front desk staff. It’s very challenging to communicate with them.

Katryna provides such an excellent experience each time! She takes the time to learn what I prefer and then remembers for the next visit. Ive been a Mitchells customer for many years and appreciate the consistently excellent service.

My mom had a gift certificate that was gifted to her. Usually get my pedi done at my nail place let me tell you got me rethinking that. I tell you I was relaxed my whole hour. The care put into taking care of my feet was second to none. I have absolutely no complaints just compliments. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Woke up hurting and my husband called Mitchell’s. He was able to snag a last min appointment which really helped me feel better and brightened my day. The massage therapist was so nice, professional and was totally fine with my silence and ‘pain face’ noises…. she didn’t laugh once…. lol. Thanks!!!

Jamie was awesome! Best massage Ive had, just the right combo of pressure & technique to really work out those stiff knots while not killing me in the process. Huge pain relief for me, will definitely come back to see Jamie in the future!

Had the signature facial with Amber. She was very personable and easy going. The facial was so relaxing. She also got me hooked up with a new moisturizer. Will definitely be back!

The staff at Mitchells – Hyde Park are so kind and welcoming. They are always ready to be there for my every need, whether that is getting me water, etc. Heather is so amazing. She always makes sure that I am comfortable during my massages and does her best each and every time. I never leave disappointed.

Have had a cut and spotlight with Savannah, and she’s wonderful. She really listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations.

Ashley is the best Nail Tech I have ever experienced. She is gentle during the pedicure and extremely personable, I always look forward to spending time with her.

My hair stylist, Lillian is amazing. She is so friendly and welcoming. She makes me feel beautiful. She focus’ on really getting my hair the way I want it, while tying in her creativity. I also love all the ladies at Mitchell’s Salon. They are all so nice and great to be around.

They are consistently late with keeping their appointments. It’s a great place to get a haircut if you want to wait an hour past your appointment. What is worse is that Jessica, my stylist, copped an attitude because I was annoyed at waiting almost an hour passed my scheduled appointment. This is the last time I ever go to Mitchell’s.

My bff made pedicure appointments for us at the same time so we could go together ❤️ we both took the work day off to spend some quality mom time off and also had reservations at capital grill for lunch. on the way to Mitchells, she got a notification that her technician called in so her appointment was canceled. I had to cancel my appointment because the point was for us to go and spend the day together. ☹️we havent found a time that we can schedule together again but hopefully well be able to soon! Ill update once were able to find appointments together and be able to schedule it.

First time in this branch. Did a maternity massage and Jasmine was amazing and very professional! Will definitely go back for massage. Staffs were nice but this branch is too small. Gave this 4 starts because the waiting area is too small that there’s not much room to wait, you’d have to stand up. Rooms were also close to each other that I could hear other people laughing from my massage room.

I go to Mitchells for eyelash tinting. It is not cheap, but is completely worth it for someone like me with very pale red eyelashes. The difference is night and day. so much better than mascara.

After a hiccup in my sign in the staff made me feel appreciated. My pedicure was completed expeditiously. Shaneer did a great job. I felt as if I was a valued customer.

I love Lorna and Ava! My eyebrows and hair looked a hot mess when I went in between COVID and my pregnancy I don’t get a lot of time out for myself. They made me feel comfortable, relaxed, amazing conversation, my hair and eyebrows looked amazing! I will definitely make this my Mitchell’s go to location!

Scheduled a self care day for my boyfriends birthday with some friends. I checked in, and they forgot to give him a massage. I wasn’t made aware until after I had a full hour massage. When I got out he told me to go ahead and get my nails done. The lady couldn’t do tips. I got my pedicure and left. Do not recommend at all. I scheduled all of this over a month ahead of time and checked in MULTIPLE times to make sure everything was correct since I was paying a large sum of money. Extremely upset.

Hair stylist, Ryann, is amazing! She takes excellent care of my hair and is a delight to spend time with.

I have not had my spray tan appointment yet but I just wanted to say that I spoke with Mary who answered the phone and she was amazing. She gave me lots of informative information about tanning/spray tanning. I did make an appointment. She was very professional and very kind to me and took a lot of time to answer all of my many many questions

Lauren at Hyde Park Mitchells was awesome. She really takes the time to listen and figure out what I wanted. I would highly recommend her.

My wife and I came here to get an hour message. We had Heather as our massage therapist. I cant stress enough how patient, helpful, understanding, and absolutely talented this woman is. I got off the bed feeling completely rejuvenated and my wife was already scheduling appointments in the future. Would highly recommend, though we did not use salon.

My old stylist disappeared so I was forced to move on. By chance I had Kelsie style my hair and I’ve been a happy regular customer ever since.

I had a great massage and pedicure but the ambiance of the salon was lacking. It was not calm, relaxing, or inviting. The counter staff was not attentive when I had questions. The room for massage had a bright orange light, looked like a hospital room, and the music was high tempo.

Had a gel removal and polish. The service was quick, hygienic and beautiful!

Tamica my Masseuse was amazingly great. I had been working a lot in the past month and my shoulder is sore and She sent me to my own oasis, island retreat, she was quite engaging and friendly. My first time there and it was definitely a 10 out of 10 hands down, I don’t know how the other masseuses are but she was a dream

Everyone was very friendly! From the staff at the front reception desk to Brittney everyone made my first and second visits very pleasant. My first experience at another location left me feeling unwelcome. I still had a gift card to use and I knew I did not want to go back to that location. I’m glad I chose Hyde Park!

I just had a 60 minute facial. My skin looks great and the products and treatment were nice... when I was actually being treated. Now I dont know if this is standard practice at Mitchells, but any other facial Ive ever had they are working on you the ENTIRE time. For some reason, in between each little thing she did there would be like a 2-4 minute gap where she wasnt doing anything on me and was just standing there. For example, I had she put a hydrating mask on my face and during that time I was supposed to be getting a foot massage. Well, she put the mask on...and then did nothing for a few minutes while I just laid there...then finally started rubbing my feet...and then again shed stop for a few minutes....and then come and take my mask off. I had something covering my eyes so I couldnt tell what she was doing, but I kept wondering if she was on her phone in between each little thing. At first I thought it might just happen at the beginning--like maybe she was getting situated--but it happened the whole time. Apply mask (2-4 minutes later), rub feet, (2-4 mintues later), remove mask, (2-4 minutes later) rub shoulders, (2-4 minutes later) apply second mask, (2-4 minutes later) massage hands... Instead of just standing around I should have had a longer foot massage, a longer shoulder massage, etc. I should have been enjoying something the whole time! Therefore a 60 minute facial, felt more like a 35 minute facial. And truthfully I was getting anxious and frustrated while laying there in between each thing, so it wasnt very relaxing. Of course I didnt want to say anything on the spot and confront her 1) because I shouldnt have to and 2) because then the facial would get REALLY awkward. Anyway, my face feels great and nice, but if this gap of time between each little service is common Im not coming back. I pay for an hour and I want to be pampered the entire hour. I would definitely appreciate being contacted by Mitchells for a follow up.

I got my hair highlighted by Bri and it turned out amazing! She asked lots of questions to be sure of what I wanted and delivered exactly that! I’ve never been more pleased with friendly service and amazing quality. Definitely will continue going here from now on!

Have had great experiences with everyone Ive seen at this Mitchells location, but I cannot recommend Lillian enough. She is professional, fun to talk to, and a truly talented stylist - especially when it comes to coloring hair.

I go to Mitchells because there is a high bar for talent and professionalism ; I know it will be right and I have never been disappointed. The stylists dont waste time jabbering so I know they are focused on doing their best work to help me feel great about myself. My stylist is the bomb!

I had a Hot Stone Massage with Jasmine, and it was fantastic! It was the best massage Ive ever had! I felt relaxed and rejuvenated walking out! I highly recommend Jasmine and will be back again!!!

Martha is like a fairy godmother. I told her what I wanted and she went above and beyond! She taught me about the products she was using on my hair so I could recreate the same look. Ive been between stylists for a while but I found my stylist here with Martha and couldnt be happier.

Ryann is a gem. She is so kind and caring. I found her quite by happen-stance and couldn’t be happier. I brag about her to every one.

First time I have been very disappointed in Mitchells. They cancelled my appointment twice and the second time I was literally walking out the door when I got the call. I just expected better communication maybe I just wont go to Rookwood and try Kenwood location next time.....If I decide to ever go back.

Suzanne did a great job. She and the entire staff were very friendly and personable.

I had the Vitamin C Infused Anti-Aging Facial with Microcurrent treatment, which I have had before. It usually gets tingly and itchy while the solution is processing, but I felt absolutely nothing. Not even one single little tingle. So I didnt feel like I had gotten the treatment I paid for.

I had an appointment for a manicure at the Rookwood Pavilion Mitchells. It was supposed to be at 9:30. I paid for an Uber to get there. I got there around 9:15. I waited and waited until about 10:00 when they told me she hadnt shown up for work, and they couldnt get in touch with her. I was leaving the next morning for a trip, so I really needed my nails fixed before then. They couldnt work me in, so they did give me a gift card for the price of a manicure. However, it cost me the price of a manicure just to pay fory Uber there and back, not counting the fact that I had lost the morning of a very busy day. I hope the manicurist is OK, but this was one huge waste of time and expense.

If rating Mitchells expensive experience I would give it a 4 due to the up sell practice but in rating my wifes hair stylist/colorist I have to give her a 5. She is kind, accomodating, quick from start to finish, funny, and just a master of her craft. Alas, she must remain anonymous or my wife would never be able to book a future appointment with her...then again....so her name is Ah, I cant do it. I can give a hint though: rumoured to be the stylist behind The Dalton.

Mitchells is the most exquisite establishment. I have received impeccable service each and every visit. I definitely Mitchell for the most amazing service and customer service.

I love coming to Mitchells everyone is so nicehere but samantha usely dose my hair so good but unfortunately she was off this Friday and I was goin to an event so I wanted to be pretty an get my hair cutt an styled so I did just that an left crying because my hair just looks chopped an the style was awful I asked her to stack the back of my hair in layers but instead it jus looks like she chopped peaces out. she barely straighted or curled my hair I was hoping for so much more I wish I would have scheduled with samantha 😭😭😭😔😔

Mila cut my hair and she did a great job but for the price I guess I expected more. She listened to me and made my hair look good but I had a $20.00 dollar haircut at Bang Bang salon in Clifton that was way better.

The technicians were so nice. And I love the new look of their lobby after renovations were made. Very accommodating!

My massage with Jamie was EXCELLENT, as always. He is very professional and always makes me feel comfortable. He is THE BEST in the massage world!

I impulsively stopped in for a OPI gel manicure, The receptionist was friendly and there was a appointment right away. I had Kim as my nail tech, although she was nice there was a strange vibe I couldnt place. There was leftover base coat left from the removal, that was glazed over but I didnt feel like the awkward Hey youre missing a spot, I figured in places like this detail was Included in the priceI finished my gel mani, and avoiding the up-selling ended up paying $53 dollars (excluding tip) for a shellac manicure and removal. I hate that feeling where it doesnt feel like a good deal, and this was one of those instances. For the spa ambiance without the stuffiness and personable staff try Paragon. Skip Mitchells unless someone else is paying.

Ive been a client for 10 years. Throughout the years, Ive met wonderful hairstylists. Very professional, friendly and always take the time to make sure you leave feeling great.

For years now Ive been going to Toby for my wax and Kayla for hair (Hyde Park location). They are the absolute hands down best. I wish the music here wasnt so drab and lame I mean do they know who their clients are sheesh.

My favorite Cincinnati salon. They provide water and drinks while you get your nails and hair done. They have a great product line and have a nice relaxing atmosphere.

This was the very first time I had my hair done with an overall full demi-permanent color..i had the pleasure having Lillian...she is truly a hair professional and is an expert at picking out the right hair cut, style and amazing color....i will definitely be back the next time I am visiting my family in Ohio....thank you so very much!

The money they charge with their updated pricing is not worth it. Go elsewhere, you will be happier at a lower overall cost. I have been a Mitchell’s customer for many years and have decided to move on.
