I am currently enrolled in beginner ballroom classes as well as solo ballroom classes, and I must say that Patrick, and his team have created a warm and welcoming environment. The attention given to each participant is consistent, ensuring that everyone is treated fairly. Patrick and his team are truly passionate about teaching, which enhances the overall learning experience. I highly recommend their classes to anyone interested in ballroom dancing!

I started dancing with Patrick on the recommendation of a friend from Ohio State University after joining the OSU ballroom dance team. After a summer of lessons with Patrick, I was able to go back to school and start competing with the team. Patrick is so much fun to work with, and is always upbeat and positive about dancing. He teaches in a way that makes it easy and fun to learn (even for those who think they cant dance), and he really made me love dance and decide to stick around with the team.Included is a picture of me with my partner from OSU. Im so grateful to Patrick and cannot recommend the Midwest Ballroom and Dancesport Club enough. ReviewI first came to the Two Left Feet class about 3 years ago with absolutely no experience in ballroom dancing. In 2.5 short years (minus Covid lockdown), Patrick took me from an absolute beginner to a winner of some of the most prestigious regional competitions. That tells something about the teacher! Patrick is phenomenal: inspirational, patient, knowledgeable, passionate about dance, and generous with his time. He is a great professional who teaches only the dancing styles he is knowledgeable about and has professionally competed in. Once you come to his studio, you can be rest assured that you are in good hands, sometimes quite literally😁 In addition to his teaching craft and charismatic personality, there are a few other aspects about his studio that set him aside from absolutely all of the other dance instructors in the area:- He offers the largest variety of international stye latin and standard group classes on a regular basis;- Not only he couches and dances all levels of pro/am, he also couches am/am couples from beginner bronze to pre-champ levels;- He offers children group classes and individual sessions;- Patrick does most of the teaching himself, but beginner students also benefit from individual attention and additional practices with advanced MBDC students.So if you want to do ballroom dancing, give it a try and schedule a private lesson! Who knows maybe you will become as passionate about ballroom dancing as I am 🤷‍♀️

I have known Patrick for years and he is passionate about teaching dance! He is patient and giving of his time when teaching students. He is knowledgeable of his craft and has the ability to teach students from the beginner to advanced level. He is able to teach a new skill in a fun and captivating way. Ballroom dancing brings such enjoyment to those that become involved in the sport and he is excellent at what he does. Go see him and other dancers at this studio!

I have been attending classes for several months. I cant say enough about this group. Patrick is phenomenal. He is a world class teacher and a wonderful human being. Also, the people in the class are open and friendly. I highly recommend this group to anyone who enjoys dancing or just wants to learn. You will have a great time while learning to dance.

Patrick is an excellent teacher. He has a way of explaining the concepts and techniques for someone like me with no previous dance experience can understand. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I recommend starting with the Friday night class first. I found all the other students quite friendly and it has definitely been a fun experience.

If you are interesting in ballroom dance in any way, there is no reason to search further - this place is just for you! Patrick is a great teacher with huge experience and fundamental knowledges! If you have know previous experience and just want to learn some basic steps in friendly relaxed atmosphere or just have fun, drink some wine - “Two left feet” group class for absolute beginners & wine party is just for you (every Friday at 7:30, by the way;)). If you want to go deeper in learning ballroom dance - international Latin/standard classes. If you are looking for improving your technique and a chance to perform - Latin dancesport series. If you are a competitive dancer already - take private lesson. If you have wedding soon - it’s time to make wedding dance with Patrick. If you want to make the most memorable and romantic date - set up a private lesson for a couple (your experience doesn’t matter). Patrick can teach you any ballroom or Latin dance any level! If you have kids any age - bring them to the kids class.Stop searching. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Being a part of this club is more than just dancing...you will experience so much more. Patrick is a fabulous teacher with a deep passion to keep the ART of dance alive. The club members are wonderful to step in and help as well. You will gain knowledge as well as friendships...the kind you will remember forever!

Horrible!The guy cant seem to keep a business afloat. Very disorganized .Discriminates based on gender, age , appearance.Abusive, narcissistic, phoney and immature.Lies and tells you whatever you want to hear just to get your money.Many times a no show for classes or private lessons or hosts special events then departs early leaving students and guests to fend for themselves.Patrick was banned from the 11256 Cornell Park Drive property by the actual owner, but Patrick continues to advertise this address as if he actually has a studio.All other 5 star reviews on this site were encouraged or incentivised by him.Update: His ridiculous reply to this review is proof of his immaturity, among other things... Dating service?? Not sure how his brain latched onto that lame & irrelevant comment solely based on the review. Also anyone can claim to be world-class (defined as, the best in the world), renowned or premier. His name is nowhere in the books as being a World Class Ballroom Dancesport Champion. He has no class. More red flags to steer clear of.

You know the guy who sits in a corner at wedding receptions, looking down, nursing a drink, with, I cant dance so please dont ask me, written all over him? That was me. So it was a big step to attend a Two Left Feet - Ballroom Dancing for Absolute Beginners event one Friday night last fall (2018). After one group lesson, I was hooked. Patricks instruction, his examples, and the culture of the club hes created have made it possible for me to grow and develop skills that werent on my radar. Patrick and his senior members who help the rest of us are wonderfully patient and delightful in breaking down challenging concepts into smaller chunks we can learn with confidence. The vibe in the classes is one of fun, mutual encouragement, and just plain joy at learning something new. The members are caring and wonderful, and I feel Ive made lifelong friends here. The last nine months at MBDC have certainly been life-changing, all for the better. Highly recommended. You wont see me in the corner at the next reception.

When I visited this place for the first time, it was just a casual and I just wanted to have some fun times. I gradually realized that this place is awesome and got interest in learning dances. Patrick is a great teacher and really cares about his students. I love the fact that while most of the other places primarily focus on Latin Dances, this place has more variety, such as Swing, Waltz, Tango besides Salsa, Cha cha, Ramba. In each class, we practice basic steps followed by some intermediate/advanced steps. Moreover, our senior members Jillian and Andrew are really helpful, have tremendous amount of patience to closely observe the other members and provide feedbacks. Furthermore, the atmosphere is very friendly and a great place to meet new people and socializing. Also the monthly membership is quite reasonable considering that I attend around 15 to 20 classes in each month.

Really love the classes and the way they are taught: all the basic steps as well as some fancy moves are explained in such a way that even a person having two left feet can easily reproduce them. I never thought of myself as a dancer before - nevertheless, during the class I get so carried away that it gives me an impression I can actually dance :) Great teacher, pleasant music, nice and friendly atmosphere - thats exactly the perfect way to start dancing. I am so happy to have become a part of this amazing community! 💚

I’m so glad I found this dance studio. Friendly atmosphere, great music, high quality instruction, amazing and charming teacher! Hot Latina dance (salsa, bachata, samba etc) or classic standard dance like waltz, tango, quickstep - you can find it here. And every Friday is a social night “Two left feet” with drinks, food and great music! It energizes me for the whole week! Highly recommend this studio!

Nice facilities, Patrick is an excellent instructor that is fun and patient with his students.

Went here once with my mom. Such a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I had a blast and learned so much just from one time.

Fun classes, conveniently scheduled and well priced, for all ages and stages with emphasis on learning correct frame and technique, floor craft.

The atmosphere is great. The teacher is easy to follow. Love it!
