We stopped by during happy hour and were delighted at the happy hour prices and selections. I ate nachos, which were tasty with plenty of lettuce (which I like) and a scarcity of black beans (which I didnt like). My wife thought her black bean burrito adequate. The service was spotty as several of the servers seemed to be on an impromptu break in one of the booths and more interested in gossiping than serving. I asked for more salsa and was given it, but charged for it.

Great Service, Mixed Burger Experience . . .I visited Jefferson Social to try the Social Burger, and despite a few hiccups with the burger preparation, the overall experience was positive. I prefer my burgers medium well, but unfortunately, the first attempt was overcooked, and the second one was slightly overdone as well. It seemed like there was an issue in the kitchen with getting the temperature right.However, the fries that came with the burger were delicious and perfectly cooked. I also ordered a Mezcal Margarita, which was excellent and really hit the spot. The standout feature of my visit was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience.In a moment of wardrobe malfunction, I needed a stapler to fix the issue quickly before a concert I was attending. To my surprise, the staff had a stapler on hand and brought it to my table promptly. That kind of attentiveness and customer service is truly commendable.Despite the burger mishap, the delicious fries, fantastic margarita, and outstanding service made up for it. I would recommend giving Jefferson Social a try for a great dining experience with top-notch service. 👌🏽

Great spot located in a busy area with friendly staff, fast service, pretty cool interior and nice food! The corn 🌽 was amazing! delicious and spicy 🌶️ but just perfect 👍 Nacho’s were nice too! we took grilled veggies just to give it a try and next time will try something different! Overall a great spot!

Great location right next to a beautiful bridge. Nachos are good. Also tried the salsa, queso and guacamole, which are tasty. The street corn is great, a bit spicy just be warned. Atmosphere is very chill and the restaurant does have outside seating.

We stopped in before a red game and had a patio table. The crowd passing by was wonderful for people watching. The service to table and time to get food was delayed due to the full restaurant. Food quality was great. Portions were less then most. Server was great but spread thin. Located about two blocks from the stadium it made for a great pre game stop and considerable savings over the poor food choices at the ballpark. Perhaps add $1 to menu items and increase portions would make for a better experience. Overall a good meal, a great location, and nice night out.

The atmosphere was nice, and casual.The service was really good. The Margaritas are great(Top Shelf)!! I had a Chorizio Taco and the wings. The wings were good, but the Jameson Honey Sauce is kinda weak. The dry rubs are also really good on the wings. The Churros are donut shaped and pretty big. Goes really well with the chocolate dipping sauce.

Great atmosphere and food. I didnt love the chicken and rice bowl I ordered. The trio dip sampler was good. The quesadilla was ok.I would go again and try something different.

Great Tex-Mex restaurant and bar. Good selection of beers on tap (including local craft brews). Taco Tuesdays is always a good deal.They have table service including for outdoor dining. Inside there are booths for larger groups. They usually have a DJ on weekends and also a few TVs to watch sports (or music videos).

My husband and I went here on our date night to kick off my 41st birthday 🎂 week! We ordered the queso with chorizo and chips, wings, and a lemonade mixed drink. Our waitress was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Very attentive! The vibe was pretty awesome as we sat by the windows! The bathrooms were also really clean, and the mirrors are awesome, lol. We will definitely be back

Waitress was very rude- she didn’t want to take my order and constantly rolled her eyes every-time I asked for something. She had a tie dye shirt on. I asked to simply place my order when I got there and she rolled her eyes and said “it will be a minute we’re busy” literally barely anyone there and the way she said it was so disgusting. I asked for one refill after an hour of being there. A glass of lemonade and she said “it will be a minute” and runs to another table and starts chatting with another table. Didn’t get one refill fromher the whole hour. I had to go to the bar myself to get the refill. Then she lied about the wait time on my friend’s order. She said the order would take 30-45 minutes so not to order it. Ended up ordering anyways and it come out in 15 minutes. I normally tip a lot but unfortunately only got $1.80 from me and .50 from my friend. Worst service I’ve ever received. No “do you need anything ? Does the food taste good? Do you need a refill?” Judging a book by its cover it seems like but she’d be surprised. I guess 4 African American Law students still can’t get a little respect at a restaurant. Saw her busting tables getting refills for the old white men though! All good, just won’t be back there

Thanks Robin S. for amazing service on Memorial Day! You MUST try the Taconey! It is weird, but it totally works! We al had the Al Pastor and the vegetarian tacos. Both had a little kick but were delicious! The three-dip appetizer was delicious and allowed us to try queso, salsa, and fresh guacamole! Order the Mexican street corn as it was perfectly toasted and the best I have ever eaten! These visitors from Alabama will be back when next in town!

Went here before a Reds game. It wasnt crowded at all and service was terrible. It took forever to get anything to the table and we never got silverware or napkins. Would never go back.Food was good. No pics since I didnt plan to leave a review but with service that bad I had to.

We absolutely love this place! Love to pop in and grab a place at the bar for some tacos, drinks and great service. Try the queso with chorizo and a variety of some delicious tacos! Wings are also a must! 🌮🍴🥃

By far the worse service Ive ever had at a restaurant. The food was ok, good, but not great, & I realize its game day & theyre swamped, but when I had to basically wait on myself & get my own utensils & condiments, & drinks after asking several times & still waiting 30 minutes for it. How could it be any worse. I shouldve just left & not paid at all but Im honest & cant. Totally horrible service.

The beer selection is great. Really good appetizers to pick from. The Trio Dip and Cheese sticks were the pick of the lot that we tried. Very friendly staff who provided great recommendations to our group. Highly recommend for a happy hour event.

First time here, and if I lived in Cincinnati Id come back a lot! Outside seating is dog friendly! Staff were VERY dog friendly. Food was great! I had the chips and salsa (great salsa and hot chips!) and the taco supreme platter with a strawberry margarita! Everything was amazing and came out so fast!!! Staff did an excellent job!!!!!

Decent taco Tuesday deals, but the tacos are hit or miss. Taconey is delicious, but the chicken is just meh.Make sure you get the street corn, its the best thing on the menu.

Food was well-priced and delicious, the music and drinks were good too. This was my second time here, and I was right to come back - will be doing so in the future.

We had the same food we had ordered a week before. Taco was great again, the burger was not edible. The patties were not even the same. We loved the place but lost us as a customer.

Whatever you do, dont get the Burrito Bowl. Horrendous! It is as if they just looked around to see whatever the leftovers are, and then threw them into a bowl and called it; yes you guessed it; Burrito Bowl. The service was so so. Atmosphere has so much potential.Park in the garage on Rice Street. $4 /hour

Holy Guacamole! Sat outside. Beautiful night. Saw a homeless dude with a giant sign and other homeless guy asked me for a dollar for a slice of pizza. Margaritas are nice and waitress wore cool plaid grunge shirt. Saw some people come out of Ruths Chris stake house but I know they didnt have a blast like me at the Jefferson Social.

This is a nice restaurant. I had dinner here and was satisfied with my experience. I walked into this restaurant and sat in a booth by the window. I ordered a lemonade with no ice, which tasted good, and the $14 Cincy chili dry rub chicken wings with a side of spicy garlic sauce. The dry rub wings tasted much better than I expected, and the spicy garlic sauce was pretty good too. Each table at this restaurant also has four jars of hot sauce. I gave this restaurant five stars because it has good chicken wings that exceeded my expectations.

Food was phenomenal and the place is amazing will recommend to anybody traveling near downtown. Waitresses actually tried to be the best possible even tho it was busy. Was with my girlfriend for our 6 month anniversary. Thanks for the great experience will definitely be coming back.Outstanding service and atmosphere.

Food was really bad - we ordered appetizers. Cheese with pretzels had a film to start and then was chunky. Wings had no taste and were rubbery. Ordered celery for wings and it was really old (didnt eat it). Chips and salsa, chips are hard and cold. Tater tots were cold when served too. Atmosphere was really nice - sat outside, but had a hard time getting service. They do need more waitresses and more attention to guests.

Stopped for taco Tuesday.Korean, fish, chicken, special, and shrimp tacos are completely phenomenal. Along with the amazing house made chips and salsa, this 16 dollar feast would draw me in any time Im in Cincinnati!

Visited a couple of weeknights with friends around 11:00 p.m. Good drinks, reasonable prices, nice space, chill atmosphere. Its a nice place later at night that isnt too packed. More of a lounge vibe than a club.

We seated ourselves. After a long wait my husband tracked down someone to take our order. She took our order at 5:30. Our food arrived at 6:20. She brought the bill before the food even arrived. It was way off. We only had tacos (awful.) It should not ever take this long. Will not ever return.

Selected this place based on reviews and proximity to stadium. Should have gone elsewhere. Ordered taco salad with steak. For starters, it is served in a bowl, not a taco salad shell. That would make it a steak salad, not a taco salad.The salad itself was subpar at best. Primarily made of yellow and white lettuce (as shown in pic) with a sprinkling of black bean salsa and pick de gallo and less than 10 cubes of steak.Not recommended and would not return.

Food was decent. Waitress was horrible as well as service. Was told they were short staffed. Sat down on Saturday took about 45 min before a waitress appeared to wait on us. She seemed mad that she had to wait on us. She would rush by our table and before we could ask for water or whatever she would walk away again without giving us time to answer. She was rude and seemed a bit racist. We had a problem with our bill and she lied to the manager. When we told him the truth about the situation he took care of it immediately, which seemed to make her more agitated. I would never return with a horrible Waitress like that. I will patronize those busibess that treat customers with respect.

Taco salad with chicken was dry and tasteless. My husband and friend had tacos and said they were good. Another friend had a burrito bowI, and was disappointed . We asked for salsa and sour cream, they brought it after we paid and we finished eating. It took over 90 minutes to get our food after we ordered. At least 3 tables that arrived after us got served before us. I will not go back. There are better choices on the banks.

Fun spot! Fast service, friendly bartenders, food spot for a quick bite and a drink.

Food was great… when we finally got it. 75 minutes and multiple complaints about our wait. The tables next to us all sat down after we ordered, got their food, ate and left before we got our order. Still charged us full price for our meal even though we were obviously forgotten about.

Excellent speedy service and food. Tacos were a hit! Plus cold tasty draft beer selection.

One word: TaconeyUpdate: they must have changed the Taconey recipe :( They’re not as good as they were last year.

Wednesday nachos special is $6 beef or chicken. I went with chicken and it was killer. Definitely worth another trip.

Food isn’t bad. The service is horrendous. Went in there tonight. The big and tall bartender looked like he was bothered I was ordering from him. He gave me a ton of attitude. And he also screwed up my order. I’ll go somewhere friendly.

Amazing tacos! (And strong drinks!) Everyone at our table ordered a couple tacos and everyone raved about how good theirs was. Two vegetarian / vegan options was a plus! Highly recommend the mushroom one. Gluten free corn tortillas as an option. Good vibes and nice staff.

This is a nice bar/restaurant combo. You can get a variety of draft beers and many choices of bottled favorites. Happy hour features a nice variety of food, including burgers and tacos. A 3 minute walk to GABP.

We came to Cincinnati to visit and found this place walking by. Had a great time. The music was cool and our bartender Lauren was great! Thanks for the good times, we’ll be back next time we’re in Ohio!

Cool looking place, the two bartenders were both very nice. I got the burger, tots, and pretzel. The pretzel was very good, the burger didn’t taste like anything, completely lacked flavor, the tots were pretty good. I also got an old fashioned, it wasn’t good at all, it seemed the bar tender didn’t know how to make the drink. Probably won’t be back.

Eh... I tried it and wouldnt go again. Food was just so-so. The margaritas were not anything special. We each got different individual tacos. None of them blew us out of the water, my husband said his shrimp taco was the best one.

This is a nice cozy place with outside dining, good food and drinks. Nice terrace looking at the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame. Affordable $10-15 average per person. Service and food are very good.

This place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is the best kept lunch secret downtown.... People think of it as just a bar but the tacos are great and the Tuesday special is super cheap compared to most downtown places and the Weds nachos special is even more affordable and filling. Any day is a good day to go down there but you might as well get a deal.

Great Space! That’s about it ! Food Sucked for sure! Service was so so …minus the fact the waitress forgot to put in our appetizer. Our food came out before the appetizer. Southwest egg rolls were terrible I definitely do not recommend. They were completely bland ! Where was the flavor at ? When you order a southwest egg roll it would be safe to assume that it would have some flavor. I ordered the Supreme burger it tasted like absolutely nothing. Definitely didn’t taste like the taco seasoning that it was supposed to taste like . I could’ve went to McDonald’s and got a better burger. The tater tots had entirely too much salt on them . Chili burger ? Definitely needs to be renamed something else. Maybe Bland Burger or something along those lines . Overall the place sucks . The best thing about the place was the old man cleaning the tables !

Delicious!! & great service.We waited maybe 5-10 minutes for a table before a Reds game. The hostess was friendly and we got to chat. Our server was fantastic! She was SO BUSY, but our glasses stayed full and she checked in often.We got chips and salsa for an appetizer and drinks. A good flow of ice water. And then I had a burger and my husband had fish. SO GOOD!! We both loved our food, the chips were 10/10 also.Totally recommend.

Sat at a table for 30 minutes. Nobody bothered to ask us for anything. Table was dirty people bussing tables just walked by us. They couldn’t care less if you came there or not. Would not recommend.

Atmosphere on the outdoor seating area was awesome! The Service was mediocre they were not very busy, but super slow and not the most personable. The food tasted good but was room temperature at best. The highlight for us was the nachos, they were great! I will probably not eat the entrees from here anymore, but would definitely have the nachos and a few drinks on the patio.

Was in a few weekends ago on a Saturday when Kenny walked up behind me and put his hands on my shoulders and told me “I have to go,” when everyone around me was confused why he was kicking me out because I had not done anything wrong. Fast forward a few weekends later and I’m getting food with a friend when he walks up to our table and says he won’t serve me. When asked why he says he doesn’t owe me an explanation. This used to be my favorite spot, however getting kicked out for doing absolutely nothing and not even an explanation would no longer recommend.

Extreemily rude waitress before the reds game today. 1 hr for tacos. Pretzel for the kids never came. Gametime just asked for the check. Other waitresses tried to entervene, but she refused there help. Then she brings the check with rhe pretzel on it..uh no. Rolls her eyes and storms off to correct the bill. Meanwhile the pretzel comes, we told them we canceled it, and he left it..kid took 1 bite, she swoops in and takes it and hands us the bill.

Good environment to hang out and close to the reds stadium. I got the chicken tacos and I wasnt too impressed. The chicken was dry and didnt have any flavor to it. My girlfriend got the cheese sticks and those things are huge!! They are served with salsa which we werent fans of. Overall it was good, service was good and the downtown environment was just right.

Went for lunch during work. Wasnt busy, sat right down. Waited nearly an hour for a burrito. Was told they had one cook after Id waited nearly 45 minutes. Thats the kind of thing you should mention to someone whos clearly visiting during lunch and has limited time to be there.

Went here for a Taco Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised. Pretty decent selection of beer on tap and a very creative menu for tacos. Wonderful combinations of flavors. I only wish they were bigger because they were so good.

Went here and had the best time. The server was on the go and did a fantastic job. Loved the food and highly recommend the shrimp tacos for the spice lovers out there. I actually tripped on my way out and the bouncer helped me up and made sure I was okay.

Nice, very accessible taco joint on the riverfront. Prices are more than reasonable especially given its close proximity to large event spaces. Service was prompt. Tacos are street style and were yummy but nothing to write home about. There were some very unique menu items that I would have liked to try and may increase the appeal but I was there for a light and quick lunch.

What a fun little place to stop in near Reds Stadium! The barbacoa taco was fantastic! If you order the two taco platter you can choose two different types of tacos so it was perfect to share with my husband. Fresh air, fast friendly service and great drinks. Will be a regular stop for us from now on!

Honestly one of the worst service experiences Ive had. Waiter did not care and we never saw him. Theres plenty of other restaurants in the area, go elsewhere.

Great place to go before or after a Reds game, or whenever. Their wings are AWESOME! I got the spicy garlic and was very happy. My wife got the street corn and was in love. We were in town to watch the Cubs and the bartenders were super helpful in letting us know some cool places to go. Very cool place.

1st visit, Megan was our server and she sure was fantastic! She had so many tables to take care of and did a great job! The food was delicious, I had a mushroom swiss burger & tots. We will definitely be here again soon! Thanks again Megan!

The customer service was great. There were an adequate amount of staff on duty. A group and myself came here to celebrate a birthday. The chicken could’ve been cooked a bit longer but overall this is a fun, communicable establishment.

Stopped by after a reds game on a Tuesday night and they were PACKED. They were the only place open and still serving a full menu after 10pm so it really limited the options but glad it did! Great food, spectacular service and a fun atmosphere. Kudos for handling a mob guys! :)

Amazing tacos! My fiance and I went here for a date night. It was a perfect night for the doors to be open and enjoy the outside. The queso was sooo good we got 2 orders! Our server Katie was so friendly and informative and she recommended a great tart beer! We will be back soon!

Great mix of classic bar food and tacos. The proximity to the Great American park is wonderful. They have outdoor seating which is pet friendly. They brought out water for my dog, which we were on the way to Bark in the Park. Go Reds! Their service was fantastic and prompt. I would recommend Jefferson Social especially if you are on your way to a Reds game.

Great food and service! They had a special for $5 nachos and they were amazing!! Big serving with queso, beans, chicken, and fresh jalapenos. The drink menu was great with plenty of quality liquor selections. This was my first time in Cincinnati and I definitely got lucky walking in to Jefferson Social!

I attempted to take my team of 8 (Restaurant Industry folk) for dinner. We arrived at 820pm, waited for tables, and were denied once we were seated & ready to order, because one member of our party was under 21. She is one of our employees and her mother, also an employee, was with us. I even called ahead earlier in the day to verify hours & to ensure I didnt need reservations. It was handled extremely poor, especially by the manager who basically came over, tapped on our shoulder, and said they couldnt serve us and walked away. I have supported this establishment for years and will never return based upon how this was handled. We all traveled down from Mt. Washington, paid for parking and ended up at Tin Roof who accomodated our party. They serve 21 and up only after 5pm but do not advertise that or advise you of the change over the phone. It was handled inappropriately & I do not recommend this business. So much for trying to support another local restaurant.

Service was horrible. Server may have been high or drunk. Idk. Took food and drink orders, messed the drink orders up and didn’t deliver any food. After food was dropped off the server was asked about a missing drink and then vanished for 45 minutes (no exaggeration). We asked another server to find ours and after 15 minutes were about to just walk on the check. She finally came out and we chased her down to get our checks. They were all wrong. We eventually got her and we’re able to pay. Don’t bother with place. It was horrible on a slow Friday night.

Good place to grab drinks and food prior to a baseball game. Has a nice patio area if you like sitting outside. Great location. Had some beers and a chicken quesadilla before going to the stadium. Tasted pretty good. No complaints.

Wasnt anything great. Food came out quickly, but wasnt hot. The barbacoa tacos looks better than they tasted. I was really disappointed. Really didnt taste like anything. Had to put salt and pepper on them. Save your money if youre looking for decent Mexican food.

Great beer, great patio, great location. 5 minute walk from the Bengals stadium. We went on game day, sat outside with our pups. You can see all the big TVs from wherever you sit. Cheers!

Good tacos, decent outdoor seating. We asked for the fire pit style table and it was a good move given the weather.The veggies in the tacos had a little more oil than I would’ve preferred, but the seasoning was on point.

My daughter, granddaughter and I visited this restaurant on Memorial Day. There was a home Reds game against the Phillies and it was quite busy. When we approached the door, we were immediately met by an employee by the name of Marcus. The first thing out of his mouth was our kitchen is backed up, were not taking any orders except for drinks to go! Might I add, we didnt get a hello, how are you, how can we help, thanks for stopping by but... He was very short and rude and not very welcoming. My daughter and I were about to leave when I noticed a couple empty tables in the outdoor terrace area. We decided to sit down, just to wait awhile. Literally, 30 SECONDS after sitting down, a waitress was at our table. She gave us menus, and asked us what we would like to drink. My daughter and I were kind of confused because of what we were just told by the previous person. When we mentioned what Marcus had told us, she said oh its not that bad, were a little backed up, but your food will probably be out in 20 minutes. WOW! Totally a different experience from what we encounterd at the door. So we ended up staying. Our food was great and waitress was very sweet. Honestly, Marcus should probably work on his customer service skills. Also, keep up with the communication and whats going on in the restaurant. Might I add, he was also clearing off tables while having a lit cigarette in his hand. Seriously? You let your employees walk around dining patrons with a lit cigarette? I realize we were outside, but this is a bit too much on the unprofessional side for me. Thanks!

Jefferson Social is a really cool place. I love the food and have never had a bad meal there. I always order the tacos individually because I am not a rice and beans fan. The coney taco is very good and unique. The corn on the cob as just plain awesome. The cheese rolls were very good and I would order them again. The Korean taco was also very good although a little spicy

We saw a guy at the entrance (a worker, wearing green tee shirt, around 5’11” high), at 9/10/2022, 1:45am, tried to hit people because, he was too drunk. He literally chased people and took their phone and started the fight. Those people were nice and they somehow escaped the incident by saying sorry. But this guy and all his friends sitting with him and chilling him were really not safe. I’D ADVICE ALL MY FRIENDS TO NEVER EVER GO TO this place. Thanks for an awesome experience Jefferson social.I know everyone will avoid this because of bengals but PLEASE BE AWARE PEOPLE

When I worked downtown this was the usual place wed go for drinks. The staff is diligent about maintaining a positive atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction. They take care of those who take care of them, so tip your servers and bar staff. Especially these guys.

We werent here too long. It was packed before a concert. We drank a couple beers and attacked a table as soon as someone started to get up. We had to order superfast and munch on our food as we were paying so I dont really know how good it was. But everyone was very nice and the walls open up for very nice in/out seating.

I’m giving this 2 stars but it should be 1 star!! I’m from out of town and hopped around a bit on New Year’s Eve. This place had the worst atmosphere BY FAR in the downtown area brought on entirely by the employees. It wasn’t just my interaction w them either. Our entire group felt the same. Every person I/we dealt with in this place from the bartenders to wait staff to the absolute weasels at the door was quite honestly a cut below what should be expected. When looking for a place to go down on the banks..... I would suggest walking right by this place and go somewhere that hires people who realize that they should care about maintaining a level of competence and courtesy with the customers. There is a reason for all the bad reviews on this place! Walk on by and you will be much better off I assure you.

We went here before the baseball game. Real neat place and atmosphere! The staff was amazing. I had the spicy margarita, and it was on point. This place is a must try.

We loved the atmosphere, and we loved the food. BUT our server, Katie, started out so great.. By the end of our dinner the place got a little busier, and she seemed to forget about us. Then my husband left his Yeti, a $40 cup, on the table. We soon realize. The table we were sitting at had not been wiped off yet, so it obviously had not been a long time at all. I went back in and asked our server about it. She was snippy ( semi-understandable as I am a server). After waiting a few minutes she walked over to the trash can pulled out our cup and handed it to me covered in all kinds of junk.. Didnt even wash it off.Sad end to what couldve been a great experience. 👎🏼

This was my first time visiting. The service was slow, but only because there was only one waitress and one in training.. so not her fault. 2 stars because I ordered a taco, Social Supreme I believe.. there was no flavor to that meat at all. I couldnt believe how bland it was, even with the dressings on it, the unseasoned meat outweighed everything.

We only went for drinks. It was pretty busy on a Friday evening. Drinks were 7$ and strong. If youre into liquor this is a good place for you. Our server wasnt too nice and didnt seem to care too much about us which was fine because again, we only went for drinks.

I always have a great time here and it is a fun place to go to after a game. However. The service here has always been quick, attentive, but mostly rude. I bartend so in an atmosphere like that its hard to keep patience. I told the bartender who was taking care of us most the night, very friendly guy actually, that the dance floor was sticky and smelled horribly of vomit. He said did someone just puke I said no, but whoever did earlier, it was not cleaned up properly. He rolled his eyes and went to the next customer. The smell got so bad we left.

Got several different tacos and drinks. Also had chips and salsa and queso. Nothing was memorable. Our waitress was personable, but had no focus - very scattered and made several mistakes. Not a horrible experience, but wasnt impressed.

My favorite bar to go to at the banks! Casual, fun, busy but not over crowded and unable to move. The best mixed drinks!!! Good for any adult age and and has a great mix of every age group.

Waited 20 minutes at the bar and the bartender would not even look at me so I left. You would think they would have more than one bartender for such a high rent location.

Went here with some friends on a Friday. It was a popular spot for both reds and bengals fans. The beer selection and prices were about average. There are fenced in spaces on the sidewalk so you can hang out outdoors. There was also a DJ playing inside

Ive only ever been late (after 11pm). Enjoyed the live DJ, whiskey/bourbon selection, and chill vibes. My good friend and I stopped by for a couple cocktails after a full day of drinking around town and dancing and it was a perfect way to end the night

Quick stop before a concert at US Bank Arena. Great location near the Reds Stadium. A few of my friends had the tacos and said they were just okay. Good beer selection and staff was friendly.

I would give it 5 stars for the atmosphere, food, and drinks but the waitress Sophia made me want to give it 0 . It seemed from the very beginning she had an attitude. I dont want to say its because I was with two African American women but I did not see her act this way with anyone else not of color. She did not offer is water and was very short and talking about is to other waitresses and laughing. I am very disgusted. Too bad because I loved the restaurant.

Great atmosphere, perfect location for grabbing a drink while strolling downtown.Staff and service was great. During busy times and around local events it can get a bit cramped. Parking can be a hassle, just like anywhere else in the immediate area.

Great local spot on The Banks... Tacos were on point! Knocked off a star because I ordered root beer and it wasnt until I needed a refill​ that the server pointed out that their root beer didnt come with free refills. Kind of a rip, should be stated up front.

McKayla is an absolute doll! I’ve had her twice in the last week or so and she’s so kind, and efficient. I would highly recommend her! The food is great and it’s not overpriced. I come here quite often

Sometimes trivia is a bit too late and out of control, but when this bar is not slammed nut to butt during an event or on the weekends with college kids this bar can be pretty chill. They dont have the greatest food but its a good place to hang out if youre in the banks.

We had their chicken nachos. It was the special of the day, only $6. They were delicious and enough for two people to share.

Jefferson Social is the true gem of the Banks in Cincinnati. They have a wonderful and diverse menu selection with a highlight on many options including tacos. The back bar offers a wide selection for everyone along with a competitive beer selection as well. The standout of this this establishment happens to be the staff who delivers a warm, friendly, and professional level of service every single time!!! The Social will always be one of my go to spots in Cincinnati.

We came here as part of a bar crawl. The venue is really nice and their prices are very reasonable. We had drinks along with street corn. Both were very good and the service was also on point! Would definitely recommend going here.

Went for dinner after a Reds game. Sat down at 10pm, ordered dinner at 10:15pm. Waiter came over and said the food would be out shortly at 10:30. 10:48 he comes over and says sorry the kitchen has been running slow and we weren’t prepared for the Reds game tonight. At 11pm he hopped a fence at hopped into a car and proceeded to talk to them for 5 minutes. The waiter spent more time sitting at a table, talking to his friends, smoking a cigarette rather than check on our food. Terrible service and an absolute joke of a waiter.

Want some of the best tacos in town, this is the place for you. This place has the best tacos in town. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is great, and the service is hit or miss. Ive had more good service than bad, but on average, the service is a 3/5.

Didnt think $1 for a little side cup of ranch was proper but the tacos are always good. Gotta cater to the guest in some way and not be so petty with extra condiments when wasnt enough dressing given in the first place for my salad/mountain of lettuce.

This place is an incredible deal on Tuesday; half off most of their tacos. My wife and I tried six of them: chicken, carnitas, taconey, shrimp, Korean, and pork belly. The shrimp taco might have been the best Ive ever tasted. Carnitas and taconey were also very good. The only disappointment was the chicken taco, which was a bit dry and boring. One complaint is that they put a ton of cilantro on everything but its not mentioned on the menu; my wife and I both hate cilantro but we didnt think we had to say anything since the menu didnt mention cilantro on any of the tacos we ordered. Thankfully its very easy to pick off.

My husband got wings with Jameson honey sauce and they were really good. I got a burrito bowl and we split an order of the Mexican street corn. The corn was very lackluster and had very little spice on it. The burrito Bowles rice was over cooked and just generally bland tasting for the most part.

The bartender was so rude. I paid for a beer with my card, he was so rude and said People like you is why we have a line for drinks. I Happen to be Hispanic, the guy after me paid for one drink with a card didnt say nothing. The guy next me even looked disgusted by your bartenders behavior. Dont want to say it was racist but it kinda looked.

Ive only patronized the Jefferson during the afternoon for Lunch. They are our definitive Taco Tuesday joint. All the tacos are exceptional however my favorite is the Korean and Chorizo. I typically get one each and a side of Chips and salsa with an Arnold Palmer and it is spectacular. Service has been good for us but we are just part of the lunch crowd so the evenings may be different. I also love the music they play. Its a small thing but makes the atmosphere for me.

Waitress dropped food on me and ruin my favorite nice white t shirt 10/10 not a good time. Manager said “I’ll comp the $8 taco’s” which was really insulting. $70 shirt, ruined night and embarrassment. They handled the situation very poorly and added insult to injury.

Wednesday night only 8 table being used at the time. The waiter said she was on day 3 and did not know the beers on tap. Ordered a beer that was on tap she came back with it in a came. No exception. Ordered the food. She never came back to to table. So other staff stopped after someone from the back brought or food. Food ok but not impressed. Training and Coaching needs to be addressed as well as management having a presents. In three hours no management or other staff to check up on us. Failed

A great place for a drink! Been there many times before/after Reds games. Theyll be a stop on our pub crawl and they were so nice and made planning very easy!

Had lunch today with my family and brought our cockapoo. Here in Cincy for a baseball tournament. Staff was fantastic and very accommodating with our pup. The Barbados tacos were delicious! Will definitely go back!

The outdoor seating for DORA is so fun! Also we had a LArge crew and out wait staff killed it keeping us all adequately hydrated. Mass props to them really.

Took an hour to get a table which we sat at uncleaned then took 30 minutes and complaining to get our drink order another 30 minutes to get a food order then the burgers were burnt and we got the wrong drinks. Never going on game day again absolute mad house. Kitchen sent food out in the wrong order and everything.

The guy at the entrance, at 9/10/2022, 1:45am, tried to hit people because, he was too drunk. He literally tried to be ruthlessly harm against us. He came to us because he thought we took his pics because he was really rude to us.

While I was shocked to pay $4.00 for a Miller high Life! The staff and service are amazing!!! For example Marc of their security detail ran into me one night after hours and saw I was drunk and had lost my wallet, not only did he buy me a meal he personally saw to it that I had a ride home. I went back this past Saturday to repay this debt and say thank you! Not only was truly allowed to be myself which is a NonConforming Lgbtqia person of color, I met a very diverse group of beings! Also the dj on Saturday was on point! Thank you for a wonderful experience to all!

I did not eat here and only had a few drinks. Staff was very interested in talking with personal friends and other staff members. The drinks were top notch and the blueberry beer is a must try.

Service was... adequate. Not spectacular. Overcooked shrimp and too much cilantro. And it gets loud fast. Cant say wed go back, but we did leave with full bellies.

Mediocre food. Waitstaff that is superficially polite but have no listening skills or ability provide basic food service - like providing place settings, explain the menu (yes, we can read the menu but dont know what spice levels are or portion sizes or provide drink refills). Though I do admit that my impression of her was colored by the fact that the place is busy but shes in the corner texting on her phone while her peers are serving customers.

Great food. Service was great. Only issue was the wonderful aroma of Marijuana everywhere.

We highly recommend Jefferson Social. We just got carry out and the food was delicious! They are also offering delicious drinks to go. You will definitely want to check them out, you will be glad you did!

This place is decent! If you’re looking for an authentic taco like you’d get in Cali or Texas it comes KINDA close but not even half as good. I was super excited for a place w elotes in Cincinnati but it was a bit of a let down :( fast service and a cool environment

Stopped in a few hours before a Reds game for food and drinks. Walked in, no one acknowledged our party of 5, so I went to the bar and got a round of drinks and a menu. We sat at a table outside, not a single waitress would stop at our table, they would walk right by us and wait on other groups that would sit at the other tables. After 30-45 minutes of the waitresses even looking at us as they walked by and never asking us if we needed anything we decided it was way past time to leave. We will NEVER go back or recommend anyone to go.

Came in with a large group, waitress was nice, took our orders, when food came we were missing a few things. They fixed it pretty quick though. Prices were good.

Very impressed with the food and bar selection. I had a taco salad with barbacoa and an Angry Orchard Hard Cider during happy hour. The cider helped lessen the heat from the fresh pico de gallos jalapeños. Beautiful day meant all sides of the building were open to the elements. Will come back...often.

Arguably one of my worst restaurant experiences. Another table yelled and catcalled from the window to passerbys on the sidewalk. Repeatedly asked the waitors and waitresses to address the issue with no success. Eventually another patron spoke to them and asked them to stop and a fight almost broke out. Food is mediocre at best and the restaurant is in no way committed to a pleasant dining experience.

This used to be a GREAT pre-COVID outing...$5 Nacho plate, 1/3 smaller raised to $6!!!Quesadilla was $5 , now pay $2 extra to add meat!!! Passing additional costs onto customer... $20, now costs $28...I was really starting to ENJOY

Sportsy bar with good food. Rare to come by that combo. Tacos are great. Barabacoa tacos are my favorite and they even have Stiegel Radler. Yum!They have indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor, there is a bar, as well as high and low tops. There is also a large couch like booth that raps around with some low tables, which is great for a more comfy bit of conversation. Music is good but not overpowering like some of the other bars around. They always have the game on too.Would recommend.

Went for lunch. The wait staff were great. The food however was cold. It was like they prepped early to meet the lunch rush but didnt keep the food warm. I should try it again at some point not during the lunch rush. Maybe this was just a fluke

Taco special was great, I recommend ordering three or four if you want a full meal. I stopped here for a snack and a soda while out on a trip. Good atmosphere and good locale.

Went on a Wednesday. Ordered the $5 nachos and was charged full price, after the servers ignored us for 15 minutes. She made up for the ignoring us thing by taking a shot with my girlfriend and her friend... But then she never returned to our table to drop food off or refill drinks. All the food was cold too

I normally I dont give a 1 star Becasue I know mistakes happen but the way you handle your mistakes with customers is what brings them back and I unfortunately not going back to Jeffersons at the banks.. I work in the area and this was my third time going there for lunch I liked the fish tacos and I have been ordering them every time I go but this time my tacos had a BONE I didnt want to make it a big deal even tho I was really hurt , I have mentioned it to the guy and I wanted to see why I had that in my fish taco , I had no answer other than thats weird not sure why that was in your food and a Sorry .. I asked for my check and they saw me hurting it poked right between my teeth and that thing was not small I could have really got hurt, so he had taken one taco off the entire bill . I dont eat chicken or anything with bones and just him mentioning to me that it could have been a chicken bone I had left there straight to a bathroom and threw up everything I had ... I think that situation could have been dealt with better . Its not ok to get a bone in a fish taco thats not suppose to have bones..

Excellent beer menu. Had my favorite Miller High Life. Big taco menu. Korean taco very tasty. Right amount of spice in the Kimchi.

JS is doing a great job with Covid requirements while continuing to offer some of the best tacos in the city. Service is speedy and friendly. Its a favorite of ours at the Banks

Stopped in here on a visit to Cincinnati on a recommendation. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. They had a great selection of local craft beers. Definitely recommend if youre visiting the area.

Terrible customer experience. We had been sitting and ordered food, my son stepped outside for a phone call and the door man would not let him back in. I explained that he was there with his father and state of Ohio law allows for him to be there accompanied by a parent. They still refused to let him in and we had to leave. This was at 4:45pm on a Friday.....

Soupy tacos and watered down drinks at a premium seem to be a consistent theme for my experiences here. I try to avoid whenever possible, but if friends REALLY want to go in, Ill have a okay time.

Busy Friday night so we got very little attention and no waiters approached our table at all, we constantly had to get up for things. Drinks were strong though.

I really like to drink at this place because they always have good beer choices and a decent crowd. I have only eaten here once and wasnt impressed with the taco salad because it was bland.

The tacos were pretty darn good. I was quite surprised at the quality of ingredients. The only issue I have is the portions are pretty small. Even our waitress said the tacos were little.

Went there this past Saturday for a night out. Bar tenders were awesome and courteous. DJ actually acknowledged song requests which is unheard of. Will be returning soon.

This bar might as well be the basement of a fraternity. It is overrun with the obnoxious and annoying wasted college crowd. The bouncers are agressive and rude and will bully and push their way through the crowd, seeking confrontation with anyone who happens to innocently standing in their way. Save the trouble and go to a bar that treats its clients like patrons and not delinquent children.

Its a nice bar, but there isnt enough bar space. The waiting times are really long on the weekends. The bartenders are not quick, unless you just get a bottle of beer.

It was awful my food was spicy so spicy that when I took the second bite it took my breath away and I was coughing and choking and I asked to have it replaced keeping in mind the description of the dish I ordered did not say anything about it being spicy no idea the server he refused to replace my meal telling me that he couldnt waste any food never heard of anything like that in my entire life and I rarely request to have my food replaced you really have to screw it up for me to do that but spicy I cant do especially if its taking your breath away so I wont ever go back to that restaurant I spend my money what people are more respectful and thoughtful
