Great place to dance in OTR (literally, one of my favorites). Have been there plenty of times and they have great music and lights show. I always have so much fun there. Like it a lot 🎵🎶

If you love Karaoke, Mr. Pitiful’s is the go-to place on Thursday nights. The atmosphere is friendly and the drinks are wonderful. I came here for my birthday and really enjoyed myself. The bartender made sure everyone enjoyed their night. The DJ knew how to keep the crowd smiling, dancing, and singing.As you can see the bathroom is well kept & I was overall happy.I recommend drinking here.

DJ and open dance floor but the place is extremely run down and dirty

Not bad for a Cincy night club especially since energy is close now.

Security “boss” as referred to by other security guys is on a power trip. Bragged about how he had a gun on him.

My girl & I were looking for a night out...some cocktails, a little dancing...its been awhile, so I asked a good friend of mine where to go...he gave me several places and this was at the top of the list...a young crowd, but a lot of fun...some great music, everyone was enjoying themselves...no fights, no hassles...if youre looking for a quiet date night, dont come here...but if you wanna be 20 years old again, pop in...you wont be disappointed.

This is a great Cincinnati bar with wonderful bartenders. If you go after 9:00 p.m. on the weekend theres likely to be live music or a DJ and lots of dancing!

Bartender racially profiled me getting a drink. Had to get my white friend to order for me because she passed me 5 times.

People there are generally college age. Which is fine.Bartenders are fine.The 3stars however is for the DJ.Hes so bad. Music choices are dated plays the decent song for 30 seconds but will the trash songs all the way through... please find someone who can connect with ALL of your patrons.

The only negative I can say about this place is the restroom is ALWAYS packed! they should just make the guys bathroom the overflow for the women’s cause the line can get really long! Other than that... 10star rating! Great drinks Great prices Even better music!!! It’s skin to skin on the weekends so go early if you plan to sit(but why go and sit anyways) fun times!!

Headed here after spending some time at MOTR and hitting up Artis for a tattoo. It was SOOO much fun! The vibe was great, even though I was probably the oldest person there! Will definitely visit again if back in Cincinnati!

If I could rate this place ZERO STARS I would. Went in to get a drink and a woman on staff didn’t like where we were *standing* and instead of telling us to move, she got a police officer and pointed at us like we were doing something wrong. Tried to get my boyfriend and I arrested over nothing. Police officer acted like he was going to arrest us for where we stood. DO NOT go here. Didn’t even last 5 minutes in this place before they got extremely rude. We were both very sober too.

This place is not ghetto at all. I was misled. 5/5

This place is almost always packed every weekend and for good reasons. The dance floor and DJ are great and the bar has big screen TVs to watch sports. I wish this place had a wider selection of drinks (especially beer) but I still recommend checking this place out. Be sure to give yourself plenty of extra of time to find parking since there is no on site parking. Get there early because by last call that place is packed full!

It was a friendly atmosphere I really liked the staff. They were friendly and very approachable the dancing floor was also great because it had a lot of room and I never really felt crowded dancing. Overall is a great experience and I would definitely be returning on a Friday night.

If you’re trying to dance to some bangers this is your place! There are great drinks and some great tunes! I actually met my 3rd wife here and man did she ruin my life but at least we had a great time! Can not recommend this place enough!

We went there for our buddy, Murphys, memorial. The staff did a great job in making everyone feel like part of the family. The only thing we didnt do was do a viking funeral. For you hipsters; the prices are fair. The atmosphere was great, especially for the occasion. The selection is vast.

This is a crowded place but I like it that way. The dance floor is pretty big and usually packed after 10 PM on the weekends. The drinks have always been good and normal prices for a downtown bar. I love the music they play. Only downfall is the small restrooms.

Purchased TouchTunes credits to play music in the bar. They had the remote and wouldn’t turn it up because they didn’t wanna hear it. As a previous bar owner I know that is a lie and they didn’t want to work with me on something I paid for

Ive never had a bad time here! Best bar in OTR to get out and dance. Multiple bars and staff so you never wait long for a drink. Tons of tvs too so you never miss the games.

Its an alright bar.. Age range would have to be 21 to 28. This is not a mature bar at all. You have people getting sloppy drunk and the floors and bathrooms are nasty. I wouldnt recommend this bar personally but the drinks are priced reasonably and they have a dance floor with a DJ.

Brought my sister here for her Bachelorette Party 10/2/2021, because she wanted to dance…..bartender in the back at the dance floor was really nice and came through with that crazy glue lol his drink making skills were on point! Bouncers we’re awesome for putting up with some of the people in our group!

If I could give it zero I would. Power trip bouncer denied my REAL ID and wouldn’t give a reason why. It was just “his opinion”. Tried to fight my friends that were vouching for the validity of my ID. He needs to retire probably. Old. Mr. Pitifuls is #pitiful #sad. Roll Tide.

This was a good neighborhood bar but its in downtown Cincinnati. Didnt take anything away from the cold beer, large TVs, helpful and friendly staff and good times. They allowed us to have pizzas delivered, which we did, so I dont know about their food choices. Still, this is a place I would revisit if I ever came back to Sin City.

Was approached by who is apparently the owner, Jeff. While standing outside waiting for my friend to get there with my ID. He was extremely rude and unprofessional, 1st off we went into the little store right by the bar to call our friend because it’s freezing outside, we walk in and stand for not even a minute and he says, why are you in here? If ur in here ur going to buy something.. ignored him, said okay we would look around and see if we wanted anything he kept on and on, asking us what we were doing why we were n there etc etc i told him he was rude so we left. Then He follows us out of there while we go stand in front of the bar waiting on my friend, i had left my Id in her purse.. so he comes up and is asking me why I’m standing there why i don’t have my id why i left it in my friends purse why she took a different Uber why i didn’t have my own purse for my ID and so on, i mean this went on for like 20 minutes, he kept questioning and questioning for no reason considering i had no idea who he is, i was standing there minding my business the whole time, i hadn’t even drank yet. And he was right in my ear basically harassing me and i still have no idea why. i asked him numerous times to leave me alone, my friend gets there with my ID, and he keeps on and on and tries to start with my friends so we ended up just leaving because it was absolutely ridiculous.

Great music, great vibes.. walkin two or three blocks from parking cost $1 for all night charge 6 dollar little bit far from parking. It great distance walking in warm weather. Drinks prices were little bit pricey if order from hard liquor, good prices for beer and ask what their special drinks!

Where to start? Mr Pitifuls is exactly that, pitiful. On entering, we liked that it wasnt very crowded. Sadly, we quickly learned why. We stood at a pretty uncrowded bar for quite a while, holding a $20 bill. Nobody came over to ask if we wanted a anything. After a good 10 minutes someone finally came to ask if we wanted anything. Being a part of the local Bockfest, we asked what bock beer they had on tap... only to find out they had none. Very sad. Im not a professional, but I have watched a lot of Bar Rescue and have seen people getting free drinks and walking to the other side of the bar enough to think this place probably wont last.

Great place to dance but I will say they need to find better DJs.

What you would expect from a night club. Reminds me of My Adams Pavilion, but much more trashy and run down. Drinks were reasonable, DJ that night was ok, and the crowd on the dance floor was good. Dancing got a bit tight, luckily the main bar area has seating and is away from the loud music and light show. It was hot, sweaty and muggy which is probably what you would expect at a dance club type of place.

Had lots of fun here great bartenders to chat with before it got busy. When it finally got busy, it was a fun atmosphere. There was lots of dancing with a large dance floor on the other side of the bar.

Nice place to go out dancing on the weekend. The service was a little slow ,but its always busy on a weekend. The DJ has better taste in music than most DJs at clubs.

The rude, blonde, short hair, bartender literally looked right past me for 10 fn minutes. She literally helped every dude around me before she finally acknowledged me. Its an okay spot when theyre not busy but the service goes out the window when they get a little busy.

Music and crowd cheering for it is awesome.

It totally depends on what you want here. If youre looking for dancing and a busy club experience this is for you. The drinks are normal bar drinks. The dance floor is busy. Place is usually pretty crazy but fun if youre trying to rage.

There are a lot of bars that try to be something that theyre not - this one tries pretty hard not to be anything. Live music on the weekends is pretty intense - but the owner is a first class guy. Great undiscovered treasure Monday-Thursday - you can almost have the place to yourself !!

Mr Pitifuls is a fantastic bar with two personalities. Sunday through Thursday it is a great local bar where you can get a drink with friends and on Friday/Saturday it is a dance club that cant be beat! Whatever you are looking for you should be able to find it here!

Went out over Hannukah when a friend came in town. Pretty great service considering how packed it was. Never waited more than a minute or two to order drinks. Had my ugly Hannukah sweater on which was a hit including the staff. Great night.

The nightclub would be better if the djs werent so genuinely terrible. They cut to a new song right as the main unifying chorus hits, and shut off the music for every major chorus is about to come. People dont come to a bar to hear a thousand strangers screaming out of tune, but to hear the actual music

Obnoxious guys kept fighting drunk all night and security didnt even react to them. Definitely makes me feel unsafe. Also, they declined entry to my girlfriend claiming her identity was fake but let her in based off her age on Facebook. That makes no sense and is probably illegal. I wont be coming back

Im the wrong demographic. This place is for college kids and cougars looking to hook up. Not my scene. But the music was good. Dance floor was large. Drinks were ok.

The bartenders are great but the 1 star has to go to the old man who bounces and says he’s the owner. Sorry but if you’re that rude maybe you should stay off the floor and leave the customer interactions to people who know how to act.

As a guy that likes going out with friends, this place is alright.Everyone was dancing to the decent DJ, drink prices were okay and the bar had plenty of room in it for a bar.Ill probably visit again.

Only place we could find in OTR that had music to dance, and was the friendliest staff/security we encountered all night.This is the only place I would return to after our night out in OTR and its because of the staff.

930 on Friday. Great weather. No body there. 6 people. Hey, be advised, this is no longer a Blues and Cajun venue. Its just another dance club with a DJ.

Little crowded for my liking. Bar wasnt too bad of a wait but the beer was skunked, and they quickly got me a new one. Id probably go back.

The bartenders are amazing, friendly and the atmosphere is fun. It can be a bit crowded and the crowd is...lets say youthful but, just getting out for quick drink and dance, its great.

I saw a police officer shove a drunk guy into the middle of the street he fell down in the middle of traffic with his pants down. I was standing in line and saw this take place with my friends and other people. I loudly spoke to my friend and others stating that, he didnt have to be humiliated like that! The one police officer heard me and came charging towards me yelling what did you say? He kept getting closer and raising his voice you dont know what he did! My friend literally had to step in front of him and defended me before he got any closer. We proceeded to go inside and the bouncer pulled me and my friend aside and said if you guys dont like the way we do things here you dont have to come here. This is just one of the many problems that I have with this place, its crowded and never enough bartenders, no air conditioning. That police officer really tried to intimidate and bully me because I had a opinion, needless to say, I will never go back to pitifuls!!

Normal sit down bar with no dj or dancefloor due to COVID. Bartender said they hoped resume normal operations Feb/March based on governor orders.

Nice atmosphere and music was ok, but, the bartenders could at least try to look like they want your money and actually serve you what you request. Maybe I just got the wrong person with the wrong vibe. We went elsewhere.

Guys at the front are so mean and disrespectful. I had forgot my I’d and asked the guys can I show my soft copy, he said no and then later I brought my I’d and he said : I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU INTO MY BAR. MOST DISGUSTING MOMENT AND PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I HAVE BEEN RESPECTFUL THROUGH OUT THE CONVERSATION BUT HE IS SO RUDE AND YELLED AT ME. OMG WORST PEOPLE. Came here drunk and had a good time and left more drunk so Id say it was a good time! Their Long Island iced tea was so good.

The perfect kind of turnt up. The best place to end any night in OTR (as long as youre willing to dance with other sweaty drunk people. Assuming you are, this is the perfect place.)

You wait entirely too long to get in to a jam packed bar that smells like sweaty ass and you wait another 30 mins for a drink made by a rude bartender. also the bouncers are rude and not to mention half the girls in the place look 16.

Good night club near the action of OTR. Comparable to The Drinkery, but better music and dance floor.

Tall short dark haired bartender was CLUELESS. 10 people in bar took our drink order ,came back with people next to us order and completely forgot about ours

Seems like a college bar, with sticky floors at 9:30pm. The bartenders were nice though. Music was ok.

This is one of our favorite places to go when we go out! Not a fan of DJ 5-0, but DJ Byron never disappoints! Well always be back!
