I like this neighborhood bar. Cant beat their happy hour prices. I play darts there (6 boards). They have a nice patio too.

Fun place. Watch the steps room to room lol. The front bar room, a few mondays ago was slammed. I stood at the bar, thinking I was in line to order, however all orders are taken at the very very far end of the bar. That was my only complaint, no signage for ordering, I wasted a good 15 minutes standing there waiting for a bartender to even acknowledge me, finally I said hey, can I get a (whatever) and he politely informed me where to order. Mainly a college crowd, they were pretty friendly, and made a few friends!

I had a great time at Murphys Pub! There was a wide selection of beer and liquor and it was reasonably priced! Darts and pool were also enjoyable activities while I had some drinks.

My fiancé and I LOVE it here!! We would go to Murpheys all the time when we lived in Clifton. We recently went back for an engagement shoot there. (As Murpheys was our first date). Love the bar tenders. Love the darts. And the owners are the sweetest there is!!

Best bar in Clifton! Great atmosphere, good prices, and most of all, the best staff Ive seen in a while! A 5 star experience every time.

Extremely bad. They are not international student friendly. Expects you to carry your passport on you while out drinking because that is what they always do when they travel. My form of ID has been accepted to every other place I have been to in the US for the past 4 years. — I only attempted to get in once, I will not be coming back.

Great local neighborhood bar that also is a UC college hang out. Much bigger on inside with a patio and parking lot . Sunday is a great day to meet locals

This is one cool pub. We don’t have many pubs like this back where I come from and it was a really cool experience. First off it’s got multiple sections. The first being just your general pub. The second being a back area with a lot more room. The third being an outside area connected to a hallway and the last being a pool area with another bar and some games up top. Plenty of space for your friends to find a spot and chill. It’s also one of the few bars I felt safe in. Drinks were cheaper than what I’m used too and the music selection was diverse and fun. I’d totally come back if I were ever to find my self in Cincinnati again.

They have free popcorn and hotdogs for tipping customers and the door guy Noah (I think that’s his name?) is pretty cute

When I was there, Saturday evening in August, there was a huge lack of parking. Service staff were overwhelmed. The liquor was bottom shelf. The floor in front of the stage was tiny and crowded with only one way out!The good things were no cover charge and free hotdogs and popcorn.

Bad atmosphere. The male bouncers are really intrusive and rude - one barged into the womens restroom without any warning. Felt really disgusting and unsafe.

Love the comfy neighborhood feel. Always a great time!

Great spot and space. Male bartender with the dreadlocks was incredibly rude to me and all the other customers I watched him serve. Beyond just a one time occasion won’t go back if he’s there. Terrible service too big of an ego.

Amazing vibe. So much to do like pool, darts, some other game. The trivia on Tuesdays is super fun, 10$ minimum but free and unlimited hotdogs and popcorn. Also the guy who hosts the trivia is an amazing trivia host. Great voice and knows how to read the questions without error.

A pretty solid college bar. Decent beer selection, friendly staff, and good prices. Free hot dogs and popcorn on Saturday nights! Does get a little crowded and noisy on some weekends though, so pay close attention to the UC schedule before planning your night out!

Quintessential college bar. This place is a lot bigger inside than it appears. Two dart areas, two bars, pool table, smoking patio, some seating, and best of all: FREE HOT DOGS!St Patricks day was very crowded. Great prices though.

An absolutely great hole-in-the-wall bar that has crazy cheap drinks, free popcorn & hot dogs, and a pretty fun atmosphere. Pair that with the copious tvs, dart boards and youve got yourself a good time.

Free hot dogs, popcorn and darts. This place is heaven. Dont come if you expect something high quality, with a relaxing getaway atmosphere, or windows. But its an excellent place to unwind after a tough week of engineering classes and you cant beat the prices. $1.50 long Islands on Monday and Wednesday is my personal favorite.

Very dirty, poor selection of beers, and the curly haired bouncer was incredibly rude to my stepdaughter upon entry (we’re from out of state, so he was attempting to prove her identification was fake, not allowing her in even though she is of age). They had her wait outside alone while it was late at night, totally disregarding her safety. The one positive that I have is that they were very affordable and had free hotdogs. However, she is definitely not coming back anytime soon.

Great small dive bar with plenty of things to do.+ 2 bars, one in front, and one in the back section by the pool tables, with a dart board setup in between.+ Reasonably priced drinks, and not usually packed.+ Friendly neighborhood atmosphere

Its pretty great compared to the typical college dive bars. Especially with comparatively cheap drinks and FREE real dart sets u can borrow to play. Pretty friendly and chill staff and a relaxed crowd.

Intimate space, definitely caters to more the younger college crowd, but they have a good selection of craft beer. Dance floor and pool tables, but it can get too tight in there to shoot on a Saturday night. I need to go back earlier in the evening to check the vibe out then.

This place has free popcorn and hotdogs, bar games, and cheaply priced alcohol.Its usually not too crowded, except during Friday happy hour.The bar games include darts (free), a couple of arcade games, and a couple of pool tables. They also have chalk boards that my friends and I like to play hangman on.To get chalk or darts, you just have to ask a bartender.

They have 2 bars, one in the back near the 2 pool tables and some arcade games. They also have lots of dart boards, and a little enclosed garden for smoking and hanging out outside while drinking. They also have free hotdogs and popcorn, which are only appealing if your drunk. Fun place to throw back a couple pitchers with friends and play some bar games.

I still dont understand how this is a real hole in the wall, this place is dope. Darts, free pool on Sunday, popcorn and hot dogs. Decent enough selection of alcohol and beer, not the best but enough to get you where you need to go. This bar has been a staple of the community for ages and you will find a range of the young to the old here. Not necessarily a college bar but they do congregate here often.

Great place to grab a drink. They always have drink specials and some sort of activity like trivia. They card at the door and do not accept fakes which means it attracts a mature college crowd of 21+ and even an older crowd. They have dartboards and pool tables, two bars and a pop a shot. If you want to have music, you have to pay for your songs through TouchTunes.

They have mastered the low-key bar experience. Pretty chill with great drink specials, but it also has a large area for darts and ANOTHER area for pool which also has a bar. This place is nationally recognized for a reason.

Usually a great time. Ive been there many times with friends. The staff is cool with the exception of one of the bouncers. He obviously loves the pseudo-authority granted to him from his job. Cool place, just stay away from the tall, blonde, bouncer.

This was my favorite bar to visit while I was at UC and I still make the effort to stop by every now and again. Beer selections is really good, although they have shifted towards craft beer from their Irish roots. They have darts and pool in the back bar as well as a decent patio.

Its the best dive in Clifton. It is deceptively spacious. They have a tolerable clientele and very nice staff (shout out Leo & Dylan). Also free WiFi, hotdogs, & popcorn. Last, but not least, VERY affordable.

Great vibe!! Love this place, it was surprisingly packed for a Tuesday, which is completely understandable as it is a cute, off the beaten path establishment. Definitely a great option if youre looking for good vibes, good music, and good drinks.

Best neighborhood Happy hour location. If youre from Cincinnati youre guaranteed to run into friends here, and if not, go enjoy cheap beer pitchers and well drinks along with free hot dogs and popcorn! Murphys is always an amazing time.

Had a wonderful debate with a gentleman along the bar but a bartender named Mandy was very inappropriate by getting herself involved in our discussion along the bar. Since she got herself involved the discussion it became very difficult for customers to order drinks. She also stopped serving me since she didn’t agree with me. Is the best bartender you all can get? I mean really.

Great bar and friendly staff. Mind your manners and youll have a great time. Saw some amazing bands here (Cheers to Tiger Sex!) and never left regretting entry.

Love Murphys. This place is so weird and divey but in the best way possible.Drinks are insanely cheap and actually good its so weird I didnt not know how they do it. The staff is awesome and have always been on top of it.Dont even think about trying to get in if youre not 21 though they are very strict about it

Great place for the young adults. I dont like that they hold your credit card hostage until youre ready to cash out. (They should be able to save the CC info in their POS and close the tab at any moment. )

Absolutely awful customer service. I came in to celebrate my friends birthday and they ripped my corona light and lime out of my hand while I was walking out the front door to tell my friend that we were about to sing happy birthday to the birthday girl. They IDd me 3 times at the front door, which is understandable. But if you know for a fact that Im 21 and my friends are 21 I should be able to open the front door without having my beer ripped out of my hand. Go to macs instead if you are trying to celebrate. Im so disappointed.

Was not happy with the 20 percent gratuity especially after the bartender told my nephew after he had occurred over 50.00 on his tab. I lived and grown up in Clifton on Wheeler street and was very disappointed. The bartender should have told him that before hand. The drinks were Seagrams 7 and 7 which to me seemed weak. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is that the mens restroom was clean. I now live in Hamilton and will probably never go back to the place ever again.

I started hitch-hiking around the country for 4 years at the age of 14 yrs old 1971,and lived in many cities to stay and work for several months to save money and countine my journey. I was 17 yrs old when I made Cincinnati my home. Was at Fountain Square when the Reds won the world series in 1974. And Murphys Pub was where I was at when I turned 18. I lived across the street and loved that bar. Some of my best memories during my 4 yrs and 35 states of travels are in that bar and the people I met and partied with. Im from Va. Beach originally and Ive only returned one time in 1984 for a few hours and the atmosphere was still great.I can only say, there is no other place I can think of that Id rather had been in this world than Murphys to have my first drink..........legally. In glad youre still open and would live to see it one more time. Unfortunately recently I was diagnosed with AML. Its a type of Leukemia with no cure, and as I was reflecting my teenage years and this was the place first thing that came to mind. Yet it was the last city I lived in during my hitch-hiking days. Love all the good people up there

This place is a really nifty hole in the wall that is a local favorite for many in the area. It can get a little crowded and loud at times, but thats to be expected of a place frequented mostly by college age folks. Prices are good, even if the surrounding area is a little sketchy at night.

Great college with prices you can’t beat. They have free hot dogs every night (Monday nights they have chili to go with them). The $1.50 LITs are a favorite. Even if I’m not drinking off the specials menu, it’s extremely affordable. P.S. the WiFi password is freehotdogs

Murphys is a fun place, and I love the free hot dogs. But they could really use a good cleaning of their draft lines, and maybe a few more beers on draft or in cans.

Hands-down the best bar in Clifton, and Cincinnatis best (and earliest) St. Patricks Day celebration. Relaxed atmosphere, free darts, good drinks. What else can you ask for?!

This is a college dive bar that will be crowded on a weekend night when school is in session. If your ok with that then to enjoy the popcorn, free hot dogs, and cheap drinks with a game of pools or pop a shot

Used to love coming here, but it seems like a bunch of country bumpkins hang there now. I played 1 lil Kim song and cleared out the whole bar! The staff is still super cool though

Its a little to small but its a laid back place with nice drinks, I love to come in there when its a waitress name Val she keeps a smile on your face and go up and beyond for the customers...A++ is what I rank it

Fun place to hang out. Several different rooms to hang out. I played Singo for the first time ever. Its a bingo game with songs on the card instead of numbers. Music from several different genres.

Kind of shabby and run down. Beer seemed warm and a bit stale. They may need to flush their CO2 lines. I had a headache after having a draft here.
