We bought early access into the foundation room before a concert at the house of blues. I’ll try to make this as easy to explain as possible because I did not feel the staff at HOB knew how to explain it to guests. Perks of purchasing this ticket: you skip the line outside, you have access to food and beverages at a cool bar inside/upstairs that other guests don’t. To get there you go down a back hallway and scan your foundation room ticket and go up an elevator (they make it feel very speakeasy). You do get to skip the lines getting into the concert but ask a staff member where to go. We had balcony seats and needed to ask a few people where the “hidden” door was (it is not marked but down a 1/2 flight of stairs). If you’re general admission into HOB you have to go back down the elevator or stairs to get into the concert but you still skip the lines which is nice. We happened to be there on a night when a local artist was playing in the fountain room which was cool. I feel he was better than the opening act at our concert! The bartenders could smile more, but service was quick for both food and drinks. You also have access to this bar and these restrooms during the concert if lines are long but it’s a hike if you’re general admission. All in all we would purchase this access again just to not wait in the long lines outside before the concerts.

This is one of the best venues in Cleveland for a concert. Its not the biggest, but its wonderful. The location is amazing. So much to do around it that you can come early and not be bored before the event. The staff here is wonderful. Always fast, efficient, and helpful. Good drinks and great food. Absolutely love coming here for a concert. I know itll be a good show and Ill have a great time if its here. Venue has standing general admission, vip seats, and balcony seats. Ive done the balcony and the general admission and had a great time in both. There are several bars in each floor so you never have to wait long to get your drinks or food. The staff keeps the place clean as well.

Great music venue/bar above the House of Blues. Great vibes, very chill atmosphere. I really enjoy House Sessions every forth Friday. They always rotate great local DJs playing groovy tunes.

Excellent private bar/club. Fantastic atmosphere. Love the second floor where you can go while a band is playing downstairs and still hear them but its not overwhelming. Love the private booths with curtains. Love the balcony overlooking the pedestrian street below.

Worst experience ever!!!! at the foundation room, been going there for years, lately the staff and manager were horrendous!!! They kicked my friend out because the door guy yelled for her to take the stairs because too many people were in the elevator, never being there before she opened the door next to the elevator thinking it was the stairwell but it was an alcohol closet & was unlocked (negligence on their part). She immediately turned back around realizing it was a closet. The door guy kicked her out In 10 degrees weather called a security guard escorting her out while .treating her as a criminal. & not giving her a. chance to call an Uber. All because she mistakenly thought a closet was the staircase. Really a bunch of idiots working there!!! Who would put an alcohol in a closer unlocked next to an elevator that is in a busy area. The bartender was rude as F… and wanted to serve well drinks as opposed to a high shelf, a drink is a drink. Terrible experience ever, especially, after seeing an amazing band at the HOB, it completely turned the rest of the evening into a horrible experience. The customer experience has gone out the door… and saddest thing is the staff and manager were trash & did not care. Where is Jules? , he was the Bomb gave the best customer service, miss him!!!! It baffles me because I come from a generation were customers were of up most of importance and lately they just don’t care at all and are completely disrespectful to the customers, Customer service has gone down the tubes. I would not be surprised if the doors close soon at this location with that kind of operation . ☹️

The Foundation Room is a hidden gem that I love to frequent before and after shows at the House of Blues. The atmosphere is top notch, and they often have live music without a cover.

What could have been a bad experience due to an Open Table mix-up, was turned into a stellar stop and example of fantastic service and class by the manager, Julius. So glad, too. I love this place; even though this was only our second or third time there. Probably the coolest, swankiest restaurant/lounge stop in town. Youll be intrigued by the back elevator entrance, the interesting decor, and the multilevel layout. Food is top-class, too.

There was a 90s Hip Hop night here right at the beginning of October, and it was pretty lit. I thought this was something else though, not a bar/club with classic Hip Hop but thats just what it was. The music was dope and so was the vibe so Ill go back sometime

Super trendy place with some style to it. Foundation Room occasionally hosts music artists of various genre. It is located on the upper floors for which youll have to take an elevator. Additionally, the Room has a cool balcony with amazing views.
