From the moment we entered Touch, we were treated well. Service was prompt, but not rushed. We were impressed both by the quality and creativity of the drinks and appetizers, and our main courses were well prepared and quite generous. I dont usually have leftovers to bring home, but I was happy to experience the short ribs again (and again.) Overall a wonderful experience.
Nom Nom, Bachelorette Party Score✨✨✨✨ All of our food was yum, even the next morning! We danced to good music and enjoyed the nina simone tribute. There was a dj and a live band. The dining space upstairs is not ideal for crowds as there is seating along one wall with nice round tables a tight aisle then the bar. Great drinks, staff did there best to keep up.When I say it was packed I mean sardines. At the time we arrived there were two other bachelor bachelorette parties and a slew of saturday night partiers. It was a good feel for a saturday night and bachelorette good times.
Phenomenal place all around! Their food quality and selection is great! Their specials are good and drink selection is superb as well. Unlike most dining establishments they also have great music with national and international acts on the lower level! Touch has definitely been in my top 5 for Cleveland for well over a decade now.
The food and services was pretty great...the issue was it was a bit expensive. But you get what you pay for and this was fantastic all around. Will definitely be back for more.
Had no idea this place existed! Food and cocktails were great! We came here as our second stop of the night....and it ened up being our last. Plus......there was a salsa band in the basement. WHAT!?!?The bartender was also really fun. I asked him for a fancy water ....and he delivered. Very fun.
The staff at Touch were great during my bachelorette dinner. Even though we had a miscommunication about a reservation, they were able to accommodate our party of 12 with great wait staff, good drinks, and really delicious food. We were there at the beginning of dinner time and would love to go back to experience the club atmosphere.
Really enjoyed the food and the service and I plan to visit again in the near future.
The interior is the first thing that stands out. We were seated in the back, which is an old, cozy library. First time I have dinner in a library. Food was good, and had a unique variety. I had ramen and others had steak. Service was good. They didnt have a bottle of wine we asked for, so our replacement was on the house. Good customer service.
The hostess/ waitress was quite pleasant where the problem came in is when our food arrived. I ordered the salmon and rice. The salmon arrived undercooked and still raw in the middle. The white rice was hard and undercooked. I had the hostess take the food back to the kitchen and ordered the margarita pizza. The pizza came to the table drenched in liquid which made the dough mushy and unappetizing. Every thing was horrible! My husband ordered the steak it was also unseasoned and over cooked. The decor is quite cute and quaint if only they could perfect the menu. I will not be returning and would not reccomend to anyone!
Saturday night at midnight the place was dead. I liked the look of the place and we didnt go for food or drink we went to dance but nobody there. So we arrive early 10:30p and its a ghost town. The basement dance area wasnt even open yet. They said itll open in about half an hour. Thats when everything gets going. Staff was friendly enough, although basement didnt open til 11:30p. (1 hour later) And by midnight there was maybe 7 people in the basement dance area including the bartenders. The music wasnt even good enough to get us to hang in for the crowd to be. We split. Very disappointing.
Cool atmosphere. Food amazing. Salmon was prepared how I like it and the shortribs were yummy too. More I want to try! Bartender was our waitress as well- she did a great job. Friendly and attentive. Thought there was a band but turned out to be a DJ but not until 10:30ish. Unfortunately we couldnt stay that long so we missed it.Would definitely go back. Bring a flashlight/phone light- cant read the menu its pretty dark lol
Loved the vibe. The menu was well thought out. However, I have some small gripes about the food, which was good overall, but could so easily be executed better, I think. For instance, the fried cheese curds: these had a lot of salt on the batter on the outside that totally covers up the flavor of the cheese.I got the mushroom pizza. The flavors were good, but the fresh mozzarella gave up a lot of moisture that made the pizza unpleasantly soggy in the middle. Additionally, this cheese tends to pull off the crust in one piece. The solution is to use a different cheese or shred it and use less. The ramen was delicious. However, why is the pork belly in one giant chunk? This makes it a pain in the neck to eat it. Just cut it up into bite sized pieces. The poutine was different than expected, but very good. I think the fries had vinegar on them, which is not traditional, but really cuts through the heaviness of the gravy and cheese, so it was welcome. But, these needed more and larger curds. The cheese pizza and hanger steak were both reportedly delicious. No complaints there. I would come here again.
It was ok. The DJ downstairs kept cutting off the songs & not letting them play. Then it gets overcrowded to the point where you cant walk or move. And it was hot. Put on the central air. Workers were nice. Place was clean.
2 stars. I should give 1. So, cost 10 dollars to get in and we could even get in! It was packed! Clearly others enjoyed it and didnt mind. But for me. It was overwhelming, bad music. Musty people. Bad drinks that were expensive af! Was there for about 20 mins standing by the front door because we couldnt move any further. Someone i was with had to push through the crowd just to get a drink and like I said. Terrible drinks. I will never be going back to this place. Youd think after so many people they would stop others from entering. I kept thinking what of there were a fire what of there were a fight? They dont pat people down here either. Just bad. Very bad and upsetting
Came here for dinner on a Friday evening at 6pm and it was empty. Beer listed was out of season (Christmas Ales in late May?!) and the waitress didn’t seem to know much about beer styles. Tried to order 3 appetizers and they were out of one. Not off to a great start. Go around the table and try to order entrees and they were “out” of 3 different ones. 6pm and they are out of entrees??? Not impressed, will not return.
Love the atmosphere. Old school hip hop R&B the last Saturday of each month..Every week is something different new exciting artist good place to relax listen to music and grab some food!
There’s absolutely nothing to do in Cleveland other than this place. The food was good this is the type of place I go for a burger, hoagie or wings not for a steak, great music I just WISH someone have told me about the basement -_- I was on my way out when the bouncer told me about the basement.
It shouldnt be a cover charged here of $10.00. The DJ kept playing now new music. No music was current. I felt like i was at throw back Thursdays and after 5 minutes I was over it. I wouldnt go here and I dont recommend this place to anyone..
We used to be regulars here (at least twice a week) but weve cut back because our favorite servers left about a year and a half ago. That being said, the dining service is only so-so (bar is good), and they really, really, really need to do away with the cover charge to get in on Saturday nights. BUT. The food. The food here is the best-kept secret in Cleveland (although it does get crowded on weekends), knocking the pants off of its neighbors in the area (yes, YOU, Crop). If you are worried more about the taste of the food and less about running into every local TV personality in Cleveland, eat at Touch. Best in show are the 2/$5 gourmet tacos on Thursdays (get frites and the Touch Sauce to go with them) and Sunday Brunch (Fruity Pebble pancakes!). If loud music and crowds arent your thing, dine early on weekends or go during the week.
Really enjoyed the appetizers (Korean chicken wings, cheese curds, pierogies), but the entrees were just average. The pork belly ramen was impossible to eat, and frankly not very good. The pork was really tough and difficult to cut in a bowl of soup. Service was subpar, and I also didnt appreciate the filthy glass in which my wine was served. 3 stars because of the redeeming apps.
I found out about this place last weekend and decided to check it out and I have to say Im pretty impressed. The food is great (went there for dinner) and the drinks are poured heavy but are also a bit on the expensive side. The service was great and I will definitely have to come check this place out again.
Its an electric, friendly and fun place to go to. The menu is nicely varied and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Youll find some really nice surprises on their menu so be sure to read it all!
Red by the glass listed as Pinot Noir is really the worst kind of acidic cheap table house red wine. I paid for the wine and left 25% tip. Server was nice about it. I did not call the manager, but server decided to call him when I complained about the quality. Friday night manager was very unprofessional. He came up with the bottle, pointed to the label and said I just poured out a bottle of wine because of you. Never left a glass of wine todate. Not coming back and will let everyone know about this experience.
I love this place all around. I just moved here from Columbus and a college friend brought me to this place. I havent looked back yet. The dinner mac and cheese is good. The brunch is awesome and the last saturday of the month is jumping.
I went there once for the, I got 5 on it, that they throw every last Saturday of the month. It was ok, music wise. Waiting for the next one to see how the next dj plays his/her music. Otherwise basement is dark & gets crowded real fast during that 5 on it party esp after 1130(ppl could b waiting outside to get in) & $10 cover charge which used to b $5(from what others told me). Where the party is, people are shoulder to shoulder dancing bc its crowded. Then as it gets crowded, drinks take longer to grab.upstairs. begins to get crowded as well bc we all think its quicker to grab a drink up there, smh, no so much.
Brunch here is awesome. There are several different kinds of eggs Benedict. I had the veggie Benedict made with mozzarella and basil and a pomegranate mimosa. Absolutely delicious.
One of the best meals Ive ever had in all of Cleveland. Wait staff is extremely friendly and the food is to die for. I will absolutely be back.
One of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland for years. But Ill be damned if I ever pay $10 a person for a table for dinner. Maybe next time yall wont be so greedy
Upon entry, I went from hearing that nothing is relative to relating to just about everyone in the club! Theres lounge seating, food service, tall & short tables, and a bar with a wide range of spirits to enjoy on two floors!
The warm mushroom salad is awesome! The atmosphere is dark and cozy, its a fantastic little low key place to get late night eats.
Disclaimer: this is a review of the Touch food truck.Touch looks like the type of place that should have everything going for it: a hip, trendy vibe mixed with a creative menu featuring eclectic East-meets-West mashups. Alas the reality, Ive found after multiple visits, is nothing less than a colossal let-down.Part of the issue here is the balance, or lack thereof, of flavors in the food. At Touch, not only is mayonnaise its own food group, it forms the base of the food pyramid; this is most clearly exemplified in the kimchi fries. Dont get me wrong: Im a firm believer in the power a schmear of mayo has in elevating a humdrum sandwich into the realm of legendary lunchfare. You can even sell me on the Belgian practice of dipping pommes frites in mayo. However, no amount of kimchi, regardless of how old or pungent it is, can balance out the greasy, starchy, fatburg that is the congealed union of french fries and Touch sauce.Furthermore, the portions at Touch are found wanting (for items that arent french fries - alas those are supplied in overabundance): a 2 oz slice of tofu and three wilted spinach leaves on a tortilla does not a taco make. The pork belly taco likewise featured barely a handful of greens that, try as hard as they might, could save that ounce of burnt, desiccated pork from being consigned to the trash can. Simply put, Touchs tacos are an affront to hipsters everywhere. Im surprised a herd of bearded, pipe-smoking, bowtie-toting dudes havent descended on the truck to exact some sort of twisted revenge.I tried to like Touch. I really did. However, the food was simply subpar, even by the rather middling standards of the Cleveland food truck scene. This is especially a shame given many items on their restaurant menu look tasty. After the food truck experience though, I dont see a reason to set foot in their restaurant proper.
The customer service was terrible. We went into the restaurant waiting to be seated like what the sign said. The bartender clearly saw us waiting he didn’t call anyone to seat us or tell us where to sit. So we just ended up leaving since no one came.
Disappointed with the food. Why would you put green peas in Mac n cheese and chicken paprikash gnocchi? Super bummed, was so looking forward to a tasyt meal, was not found here.
Barely had the drinks I wanted. New bartender didnt know where some alcohol was located but they did their best to accommodate. Downstairs was pretty empty.
Great atmosphere and very great food. I’m craving the world’s best pizza and the Korean wings. Great service as well. Love it!
American food at this spot - super good. Great location to chill, eat some good food. The service was very friendly and kind.
Was a lighting was a little darker than I prefer, both up & downstairs. Will return for a visit when its a lot less crowded & earlier in the evening.
Some of the best wings in Cleveland, drinks are inexpensive and excellent sliders. Sunday Brunch is fantastic food
Great atmosphere! Service was wonderful! Food and drinks were delicious! Cant wait to return!
The service was great. The pretzel crusted chicken was delicious, but the chicken paprikash tasted more like a spiced marinara
Seriously cool interior. Just did drinks. Nice place. Not terribly busy, but thats not always bad
The music was great. Especially the Spanish music The dance floor is some what small. But the people are friendly.
Tried to go on a Saturday night hoping to dance.... got there and was told oh were not opening that part tonight . I feel like this should have been posted somewhere (ie, fb, ig , etc). We drove over an hour away only to be disappointed
I was there for a birthday celebration. Nice environment for group setting. The food and drinks were good.
Food was amazing, unique, and well prepared. Drinks were also delicious and creative.
Good food. Good service. Good drinks. A very solid, nice dinner choice for drinks and dinner for $100 per couple.
I ordered some beautiful vegan dishes. They were delicious. Very pleased with price also
Awesome place, great food and of course the I got 5 on it party is a c town classic!!!
Nice place. Very interesting menu. Good service. However, the 🍻 were warm.
$10 for a cover is way to much for here. Bartender ignored my friend and i after waiting for 15 min and served someone who just walked in the door.
Awesome bar. Great parties on Saturday night. Especially down stairs. Definitely got to visit that bar.
Nice atmosphere I wasnt able to try the food. A cool place for a date or hanging with the girls.
The dance floor in the basement was very crowded with minimal seating. There was no real exit (other than through a locked storage door) in the basement in case of fire.
Great food, fantastic service. Make sure you check the club downstairs on the weekend.
My favorite basement club in Cleveland. Queer friendly. Make sure to check out their Saturday Sanctuary Night, or Afro Latin night on Friday.
I love their shrimp tacos. Best Ive ever had! Awesome flavor.
Fun environment and good food. Loved the books on the wall. Felt like I was dinning in the library.
The food and service are excellent. Make sure you have reservations on Friday and Saturday night.
Very intimate, cool interior. Small but cozy, inviting spaces. Great food and great service!
Mikey the bartender is one of my favorites! He can make you just about any drink and will do a damn good job doing it!
The food is great and if you make happy hour you can try new dishes at a great price.
Pretty good dj on the weekends. They play a decent mix of old and new school hip hop/r&b
