Absolute Body Balance

My husband and I booked a 90 min couple massage with hot stones. We’d gone to the other location but this was our first time here. The environment in the lobby was relaxing and calming everyone was pleasant and helpful.Unfortunately our massage was in a pretty small cramped room ( therapists were bumping to move around during massage) my therapist talked about 20 mins into the massage. I was pleasant but a little put off since I’m used to relaxation. She explained there was only one set of hot stones at the time and she wasn’t used to it so to bare with her. During my massage the stones were a little warmer than Luke warm and towards the end weren’t warm at all.. they were a 30 dollar add on for each of us.While our therapists were pleasant and nice we both agreed that both massages were.. just ok- they felt more like lotion rubs with a little pressure in a cramped space.I asked my MT for more pressure and I was obliged for all of fifteen seconds. My husband left with the same knots in his shoulders he entered with -to the tune of about $400+ which sucked.Overall we were super let down with this experience, we didn’t want to leave a bad review but the more we talk it over, the less it seems worth the money. We wanted to make others and the owners aware.Sadly we’ll be finding elsewhere for our massages, I hate that because I was interested in the monthly subscription until I came in.

Love this place. Front office lady (Denise) is amazing and so much fun to talk to.My therapist, Kellyn, is fantastic. I look forward to seeing her because she finds all of my hurts and works them out. She is awesome!

After moving from SoCal (and being an athlete) I was looking for a good massage therapist. Absolute Body Balance has an incredible atmosphere and staff. Keith especially was attentive to my needs and ailments. As well as giving me tips and tricks to help reduce the amount of inflammation and tension in my body.Couldnt be more satisfied!!

Yesterday I got a massage from Genevieve after receiving a gift card from my husband for valentines day. I would like to preface that the majority of my experience was great and relaxing, but I think there is an issue that needs to be addressed. Nearing the end of my massage, Genevieve began asking me about my line of work. I am a paramedic and have been working on an ambulance for quite some time. She then began asking about the worst things Ive ever seen. Now, Ive been in this field for a while and am no stranger to this question, but I was very off put about being asked that during my massage. Especially in a calming space where I was trying to relax. I tried to change the subject, but she kept asking about my top 10 worst calls. I found myself talking about one call in particular, and being facedown on the table I was actually in tears. I finally told her that those traumas are incredibly difficult to relive, and it took a lot of therapy for me to work through. A lot of therapy that does not need to be brought up again especially in a massage. She apologized and changed the subject, but that line should have never been crossed. I went home and talked to my husband about it and I just feel disappointed. I was gonna let it slide but after the amount of money we spent on that session in an effort to relax, I feel incredibly let down. I decided to say something to stand up for myself because I didnt get the opportunity to during the session when I was already undressed and in an uncomfortable situation. I truly was trying to make the most out of my experience and enjoy as much that I can, but after thinking about it, my experience felt ruined. Id like to hope that perhaps it was just not a great match, but I feel a little gun shy about being in a vulnerable space like that with a stranger right now.

Virginia was the most incredible masseuse. She was able to get most of the knots out my back and shoulders. In order for her to get them all I would need a longer session! Overall, she was incredible I would recommend her to everyone!

What a great massage! The staff made me feel comfortable and taken care of. As someone with autism and high anxiety, this was a very comfortable environment. Jacob provided me a lot of relief with the deep tissue massage. I like very deep pressure and he was able to provide that for me.

Absolutely lovely experience. We did the couples workshop and Chase was absolutely amazing! Not only did we each get a great massage, but he is a great teacher and we both learned some great techniques for massaging each other. We will definitely be back in a few months for another lesson.

He made sure I was comfortable, delievered firm pressure. Most importantly, I walked away feeling AMAZING. My tension and pain melted away. Booked my next appointment on my way out, joined the membership. Never lose a massage!

Best Massage Ever! Brian was amazing! He located and relieved all the tight spots on my back and legs. As an avid runner, I now know where to go for ultimate pain relief and relaxation. I highly recommend!Just had my second massage, and it was also phenomenal! Andrea was able to relieve my sore spots, and also provide total relaxation for my entire body.

Ive had 3 massages. 2 were good 1 was excellent. Its more affordable than many places & more flexible with how used if joined. You dont loose my massages they roll over which is wonderful.

Absolutely AWFUL front desk! My husband bought me a full body massage with hot stones for my birthday to surprise me. I showed up the next day and they booked me with a massage therapist that could not do hot stones. When I went up front to pay, they said they did not see my husband’s credit even though I had the receipt with me. They did not try to offer ANY way to fix the situation, except saying that I could leave all the extra money on my account as a tip or a balance for the next time. I will not be going back to this place. They seemed very unorganized.

Got a couples massage by Ryan and Cassandra, the front desk was so polite and helpful, and the massages were great! Attentive to details and informative as well. Never been for one before and really really needed something for a tight upper back and shoulders after an insane past 5 weeks + Things feel better and I am looking forward to coming back again to try their other services, probably will buy a monthly pass and do this for a while! We read review on Absolute finding massage therapist and mention one person that was good. We thought it was a women and it was a man. We went along getting massage and felt like I was being tortured. Wasn’t comfortable try put a smile on my face. I will never go back there again.

These ladies were lovely! I haven’t been in to get a massage in nearly a year. I totally needed it and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from the customer service I received at the door to the massage therapist‘s professionalism and finally my check out.Ask for Brandy if you stop in! She was super friendly and got my pressure (firm) just right. When I was relaxing & unwinding she was respectful. When I was feeling more chatty towards the end of my appointment she was enjoyable to talk to and very polite.I opted for the 60 min massage & scheduled through Mind & Body App. Communication was excellent and I enjoyed it so much I signed up for a membership! Excited to book my next visit!

I bought a 90 minute massage for my mom, and she loved it so much she became a member and is going back in 3 weeks! I spent hours researching the best places in the springs to go and ultimately landed on Absolute Body Balance. They had the best online appearance, from transparency to reviews, they seemed wonderful. I really liked the fact that I could see what I was going to pay and availability all without having to make an online account (unlike countless other places). I was also very pleased with their costumer service. I called twice and both times spoke with very polite and helpful people. The therapist was Brandy (who people who reviewed seemed to really like) and my mom had nothing but praise for her work. I highly recommend. Very nice people and very reasonable prices!!

Ernie was amazing! This was my first experience for a full body massage with my boyfriend and much needed if you ask me. He explained everything very well and even gave me tips on how to self care at home. I felt super comfortable and relaxed around him and he knew what areas I really had tension in that needed some work. I almost fell asleep several times he was giving me the massage. I recommend this parlor and will he going back soon. Self care is so important!

Such a shame that after what should be a relaxing time, you are blindsided by the price. This was my first time to ever visiting Absolute Body Balance, I scheduled online & the price they show you when you book is $79. When the reseptionist told me my total was $109, I was shocked to say the least. When I said well when I booked online it said $79, she simply just looked at me and asked how much I would like to tip my therapist. No explanation of why I was paying $109 instead of $79, when I booked on their website no where did it state that the total would be different than $79 for any reason. I will say it was definitely not worth $109 & the fact that the people who are responsible for making clients feel welcome, understand their policies, & rates simply failed. I was hoping to make this my new weekly massage location due to how close they are to my house. This is the reason I have ALWAYS gone with therapist that have their own business & stayed away from chain businesses because there is always some hidden gimmick.

I’ve been coming to both locations for almost a year now, first for prenatal massages and now for 60 minute ‘post natal’ massages! I’ve seen several different therapists and have loved every single one! They listen to what I like/need, and I leave feeling so much better and relaxed! And the front desk ladies are always super nice and helpful! Definitely recommend!!

Like the Powers location best. Was about to cancel my membership because I couldnt the right match with a massage therapist and what type of massage I needed. Luckily I booked with Brian and found the best massage therapist in colorado springs. I am never canceling my membership as long as Brian is around.

I went here with my girlfriend, and we got a couples massage. I was given a deep tissue massage by a gentleman named Dietric, and my girlfriend got a deep tissue massage from a gentleman named Ernie. It was a very pleasant experience, place was clean and well tended, the massage was fantastic, everyone was polite and professional! I highly recommend and will definitely be going back! :)

Most relaxing massage I’ve ever had! I’ve lived in a number of places and seen a variety of massage therapists. This location is my favorite. The staff is kind and not pushy at all. Angel has done an excellent job tailoring my massages to my body’s trouble areas. I highly recommend this massage therapist!

My husband and I just had a FANTASTIC couples massage from Amanda and LeaTricia! It was relaxing but still definitely worked my sore muscles. They communicated throughout to make sure the pressure was good, etc., and Amanda especially was great conversation. We will definitely come see them again! The natural (and local) body care for sale in the lobby is great too:)

Andrea is amazing! I always leave feeling so relaxed and I can get some energy work if I need it too. Everyone is so nice.

My mom and I got massages with McKenzie and Amanda. McKenzie worked on my many knots and gave me tips on how to relieve tightness. I’ve gotten many massages and she was the first to massage and stretch parts of my body as well. She spent time on all parts I wanted focused. Amanda also gave tips to my mom and focused on where she needed relief the most..without even being told where her pain was. Overall a wonderful massage for the both of us. We will definitely be back!

I love this place. I started a membership after a great massage from Angel. I’ve had quite a few massages and she’s one of my favorites. Thanks to her stellar massage, I’m now a member and love it. One of the best values I’ve paid for a massage and with a great therapist.

Scheduled a pre-natal massage for myself. My massage was very uncomfortable physically. During my pre-natal massage, I was jiggled (think putting an elbow in a spot and then shaking the arm to make the body move), pulled/yanked, and pushed down on hard. Im sure I had some knots but I didnt ask for them to be worked out as pre-natal massages are supposed to more gentle than a regular massage. The best way I could describe the pressure was aggressive vs firm. I was so sore the next day.I also felt that there was no plan/routine to the massage and was being made up as it went. Overall, I would not be back for a regular massage nor would I recommend a pre-natal.

This is the east location of Absolute Body Balance - a small, local massage therapy business in Colorado Springs. The environment is professional, relaxing and friendly. The therapists are licensed and well trained and excellent at what they do. The facility is clean and modern and well decorated. Fantastic business and a great place to receive a massage! They also offer other services like foot scrubs, aromatherapy and various others.

The massage therapist was a very sweet gal. But I went in for a deep tissue and seriously my kids could have done better. She barely touched me with any pressure. Also my bed squeaked the entire massage which was a little irritating. I specifically said I would like my shoulders done she worked on them for just a few mins. Like I said gal was very sweet and that why i gave the two stars but I definitely will not be returning back for any kind of swrvices.

Friendly staff with good service offerings. It is a little less relaxing due to mask requirements but that is completely understandable. Membership pricing is reasonable and offer nice extras such as hot stone and aromatherapy. I would suggest at least a 90 min massage.

Me and my best friend got a couples massage and it was fantastic!! I was a huge fan of Danielle the therapist, her pressure is firm yet gentle. I feel so relieved and relaxed! Thank you so much! ☺️

I recently had a couples massage with my wife and everything was amazing! They made us feel special with rose petals and a beautiful room. Amanda and LeaTricia were amazing and very talented. We will definitely be back!

I enjoy my experience every time I go here. Everyone is extremely friendly and eager to help. Maia is fabulous. Her pressure is perfect for me and she goes the extra mile to make sure I’m comfortable. I would totally recommend Absolute Body Balance!

We did a couples massage and both Mackenzie and Brandy were excellent and very attentive to our needs. I felt like Brandy really got to the cause of my issues. Great staff-super friendly. I’ll be back!

Eric the massage therapist deserves 5 stars for sure!! He was fantastic, the atmosphere was very calming and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately the company gets 3 stars due to poor management.

I was given a message as a gift. I had not had a full body message in about 10 years and wasnt sure what to expect today. All the staff was very friendly, from making the appointment to checking in. The 9n line information was very informative and along with talking to the receptionist, I felt very comfortable with my message therapist. The message was what I expected and I left relaxed and expect tension to be released.

Danielle G. was my deep tissue massage therapist, long story short she was great. She utilized pressure points and deep tissue to really enhance the massage and get the blood flowing. I will be back to see her on a regular basis.

We were in town visiting for our anniversary and booked a couples massage. We ended up running alittle late and they were very understanding. They even stayed alittle late so we got the full hour. Definitely would visit again when in town!

Took my wife for prenatal massage with Sunnie and she loved it! Her experience was great! Sunnie was considerate and careful. My wife was so relaxed throughout the day.

Great massage, not fancy and didnt use oils or aromatherapy. The table was a bit squeaky and I felt like it might not hold. For a good massage this place is it though.

Great massage and great staff. They dont try to gouge you on price outside of membership and they have a great membership program if you choose to take it (although they are not pushy at all).
