40 Thieves Hookah Lounge

The only thing this place has going for itself is the location. The hookah was subpar. The staff is incompetent--the cover charge for the DJ is ridiculous. I tried to let the server know my concerns with the hookah asit was not pulling as it should. She kept talking to the only person at the table that did not smoke, I let her know that, and she continued to ask him about the hookah. After multiple trips to the counter, as the server was inept, the manager came and checked and said everything was good, but it was still not pulling. She condescendingly tried to blame it on the size of the hookah (being too big), my lung capacity (the first time Ive ever heard this), and that she would change it for a smaller hookah. After some back and forth, we came to an agreement, but for a place that was basically empty, it was taking forever for the replacement. So we ended up leaving and going to another hookah bar, where the hookahs were larger, and the smoke quality wasnt affected by the size. It wouldnt be farfetched to say the worst shisha establishment Ive ever been to. If you are a hookah connoisseur, save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. Iwould leave zero stars if I could.And to debunk her misinformation about the hookah size and lung capacity, I have included a picture from the second place we attended, Springs Hookah, where the hookah was a lot larger and I still had the same lungs!

Coming from Houston I had high expectations… while the place didn’t have my flavors the hookah was solid and the customer service was amazing. Monica took care of us … she listened and made my hookah the way I wanted without my first choice flavors. We will be returning for sure 🥰

Tried hookah for the first time. Staff was great in explaining everything to us rookies. Enjoyed R and B night. Will definitely be back soon.

Great price and service! The hookahs are packed extremely well and produce thick smoke ( dragon like) with great flavor!

The staff is so friendly and helpful. Im new to hookah and they were so kind to show me everything and get me started. Refreshed coals regularly. Chill environment. 10/10 will go back.

Had the best experience at this lounge! My third time in, its always crazy fun, sometimes its a packed club scene and sometimes its a mellow chill lounge experience, everytime is fantastic, the bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable!

Great experience, good vibes all around, good staff, good hookah and on Fridays they do live music with visual performers and lazers and the whole deal very cool to have a spot like this in the springs. Go check it out, i highly recommend it.

Really smooth hookah, server was very polite, conversational, and accommodating. It was really chill too and except for the loud music which was turned down on upon request, it’s a really quiet and relaxing space.

It was my favorite hookah lounge in the Springs! Im very sad that they closed the location here and moved it up to Littleton. I have many great memories from there and will miss getting Japanese Garden and Death Sentence with my other half. Thanks for the 11yrs of memories and smoking great hookah!!

40 Thieves Hookah Lounge off of Tejon is the dopest place to hang out at! Staff is super friendly and great vibes. Will definitely be coming back!

Perhaps the best hang-out place Ive been too. Theyre a big strange family that makes you feel at home when you walk in. Always something going on and the place gets bumping after 9. I highly recommend it!

Awesome place to spend a Friday or Saturday night, or any night you’re trying to go out! DJ’s playing various genres every weekend. CBD available if you’re into that!

Best hookah spot in town! Right in Downtown Colorado Springs, this is the best after hours spot to hit. The shisha options are amazing as well.

Hookah had no taste and the place is always dead. The staff is also always drunk and kissing up on each other. Way overpriced as well.

Terrible customer service. If your not the employees friend then you have to wait 20 minutes to get a new coal. I was packing up my things and leaving when its turned time to close; when her and her friends couldnt wait two minutes for me to finish before they started calling me fat and chanting get out. I wouldnt wish this place on anyone!!!
