I have been places where the massage is better and the price is the same. When they finished the 40 minute massage, he said $45. I gave him $50. He said NO, ITS 20% TIP. Huh? They have a paper and in tiny letters, it said 20% tip. Thats a scam!! Big time. Why dont they put that sign next to the prices? This is one n done. Goodbye.
Terrible customer service, it’s ratchet and ran down. On top of all that they basically expect a tip. Came in with my wife after reading the reviews on this place and noticed how most of them talked about how these scammers basically demand tips. I told them i didn’t want to tip and they looked at me crazy and started calling other workers from the back up to the front. Would never recommend this place. Straight trash, and should be taken out of the mall.
Its ok,I have had better massages and never been asked about a tip, probably should shop around and try some were else.
Recent visit, Friday Aug. 9, 2024.I asked for a foot massage and was told to lay on my stomach. I should have know the guy was off at that point but I kept going. The foot massage was fine. But when it came to pay, I used my card to pay the required $35 with a $2 tip PLUS $5 in cash. Added together thats a $7 tip. This dude had the nerve to say, this isnt enough. Give me $10. 20%I was dumbfounded! First of all, the audacity to tell me WHAT to give you as a tip is WILD ... and second, the inability to calculate that I in fact gave him 20% pissed me off.He kept saying more...more I said, you better be glad you got that and walked out.I wont be returning.
Ive visited this place many many times. I was very disappointed with my massage. I asked to end my massage early. As I checked out, the guy told me that my tip was not 20% and wanted to negotiate my tip. Also, some dont wash their hands. Ill never go back.
Be careful!!! These folks are crooks, at the end of the session, they would get furious if you dont tip them extra, if you pay with a credit card, they would add their own tip.Not coming back to this place!
Pros: good massages for the price. Cons: I tip regularly. I did not like how the masseuse asked me how much I am going to tip. I also did not like that he looked at my receipt to see how much I tipped without even telling me have a nice day. I also told him what I was going to tip and he told me to tip the maximum amount. They were really concerned with the gratuity which was a turn off to me. Ive attended this relaxation center 3 times. The last time I went, they demanded a tip. Like calm down...I will tip but let me tip the amount I would like to tip. Please and thanks. The massages were amazing but the customer service needs work. I would suggest extended employee training on proper customer service when it comes to checking out the customers at the cash register. Once again, I always tip but I did not like being hawked over by the employees to see what amount I tipped. Not sure if I will be returning. As a matter of fact, I will be seeking a new massage spot because the tipping requests were very unprofessional.
I received a 30 minute massage on 4/23/23 around 5 pm. I went in feeling great and just wanting a relaxing massage. The lady started the massage extremely hard and it was painful. I told her it was too hard. I had to tell her one more time before she wasn’t hurting me. Here I am the next day and I’m in a lot of pain, my back is very sore when I move and to the touch. I went in wanting to relax and came out in pain.
They don’t speak English and don’t seemto understand what type of massage you asked for. The place is unhygienic and has a musty smell, they reuse dirty sheets on multiple people. At the end they asked me how much I wanted to tip, and when I said $10 they somehow added $20 to my bill. Will definitely not come back.
I waited only a few minutes. The masseuse did a great job with the massage. She cleaned/disinfected the massage table while I watched. I felt so much better when I left. Im going once a week now and feel much better throughout the week.
Went downhill. DO NOT GO HERE. Ive been coming on and off for years. Your mileage will vary greatly in terms of quality. They are agressive with tipping... they dont let you write it in ever... they ask you before they swipe. This last time, the lady who massaged me was clearly irked that I tipped 15% and not higher. Pretty sure she double charged my card on purpose... had to call my bank. Unfortunate, because they have other therapists who are better with higher quality and never gave issues to me... just lost a repeat customer.
Lucy & Michael did a great job today, came in at 5 PM for a 90 minute massage, it was amazing. I had a knot in my neck and Lucy did some magic on it! Will be coming back.
Ive been here a few times. The one downstairs is honestly better. They create more better ambience. The last time I went here is the reason Im giving them a two I was the only one in there and the whole time the guys the three of them just talked and talked and talked and as soon as another person came in which was a white woman not sounding racist but then they stopped talking. That was like my last 10 minutes which I felt very rude. And I did a 60-minute massage when it was time to tip. He went on and on about its appropriate to tip and I said I would gladly tip, but honestly its appropriate not to laugh and joke and have a large side conversation while youre getting massage either 🚫
I get it, Communication is very limited but at least Meet the customer halfway. Very unprofessional. We asked if we had to wear masks, and she kept saying “massagy”? Obviously we want too but if your sign says masks at all times and were wondering if you have some then at least Understand. The whole time we tried the 30 min combination body and feet massage thank goodness we did instead of the hour because It was All just LIGHT pushing in certain parts of the body, and then when it came to the feet, She basically was just squeezing them. I took some chinese back in the day and im pretty sure they were talking bad things about my feet. Would NOT recommend. Ive been to many massage places in malls and in solo buildings throughout the country, ranging in different price ranges, and This has by far been the worst experience in my entire life. I agree with some people that Asking for a tip is not professional, if i feel a service has gone above and beyond by all means ill tip well But asking for a tip? Negative. I WOULD NOT recommend to go here.
I went to the mall in alot of pain so decided on a quick 10-minute massage. The best $20 (including tip) I possibly ever spent. I left with everything looking a little brighter than it had in months. My masseuse knew his stuff! I will go back for a longer session.
Cons they make you pay tip so it’s obligatory and they want more than $10 , my dad paid for my mom himself and me and they wanted a lot for tips for each of us.Pros I did 25 minutes and then added some 10 more minutes.they are very good at what they do, I felt less pain in a couple of minutes.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! This place is a scam! We visited this place tonight, and they scammed us out of $50. Here’s how they scammed us and how they will likely try to scam you. We walked in and inquired about a brief massage. They showed us a board with prices, including a 10 minute massage for $13. We talked at length about my wife getting the 10 minute massage, and they took my wife behind a partition, where they started the massage. After a few minutes, I overheard the masseuse say to my wife “30 minutes?” and my wife responded “No, 10 minutes.” After another few minutes, I heard the masseuse ask “30 minutes?” and again my wife responded “No, 10 minutes.” Finally, after 15 minutes had passed, I walked to the back and asked if everything was okay because 10 minutes had passed. The worker I asked seemed to panic, so I told him I wanted to pay for the agreed to 10 minutes, because this was starting to seem like a scam. The next thing I knew, all of the workers seemed to panic and chaos ensued as the masseuse looked at me and said “No, 30 minutes.” At this, my wife got up and got dressed to leave. Long story short, they threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay and charged us nearly $50 for a 30 minute massage. I pointed out that it had only been 15 minutes, and they said it had been 30. This was a complete lie. I went to speak to security and filed a complaint with mall management. There I discussed the situation with an two officers, one of which said he had heard this same complaint about Natural Relaxation many times. I went back to the business to photograph their price board for evidence, and the manager started yelling at another man working near the front, telling him to stop me from photographing the board. Just as a side note, the man reached for my phone, but he quickly backed away when I told him not to touch me. I only point this out to demonstrate the way they run their business and how they think it’s appropriate to behave.
My mother and I both just got 30 minute massages here and it was wonderful. Professional, clean, well-priced, and they really open up those tense muscles. Will definitely come back again and further update my review.
I suffer from horrible tension headaches (pressure), I have several knots in my shoulders, I have a bulging disc in my neck, often jaw pain. I’m literally always uncomfortable or in pain. I tried this place, tonight and was almost in tears. This was everything I needed for some relief. I’ll be going every week. Amazing.
Very happy with the 30 minute massage for $32. I love that you can lay down instead of just the chair, they were very polite and welcoming, and I left feeling super relaxed. I will definitely go back.
Im a massage therapist and its hard for me to find time for massages which i need at least once or twice a week. This is one of my go to spots in Columbia. I never have to wait long. Your fully clothed and sessions are short and sweet. If u like certain areas of your body focused on. Let them kbow the exact areas Before u begin or else u get their full body routine. Ive had work done by all 3 people their and the foot reflexology. Try them for 10 to 20 minutes of deep accupressure. Feel like a new person afterward :)
A great hole in the wall for a quick moment of relaxation. Leah is absolutely magical, getting her fingers into all my knots and cricks! Affordable and always have availablity.
Reasonable prices for a quick massage. The wait time wasnt long (just 15 min for my walk in), and the staff were nice and friendly.
Best place for relaxing yourself after work!!!
Hands down skilled technicians...When he massaged my head and the pressure points on my cerebral..I wanted to marry him Lawd,I need the combination 3xs a week..best reflexology spot in Columbia.
