Hotel O Columbia Downtown near I-65

We booked this room a year in advance in preparation for a festival we planned to attend. Upon reading the reviews, we knew there may be issues. The room was fairly clean and had nice laminate on the floor (I hate motel carpet). We would have stayed but checked the bed and found bed bugs. So we left. Thankfully, they refunded our money.

1st room we was put in was not the cleanest, TV didnt work but worsed part was we also found bedbugs! They moved us to a different room and it was no better! I highly do not recommend this place!

I cannot begin to say how disgusting this hotel is. We checked in went to our room and saw cockroaches all over the place. There was no water in the shower and crazy people outside talking to themselves. Whatever you do do not go here. We paid 100$ to sleep in our car because they refused to give us back our money.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful with questions. The room was spacious and the air conditioner worked well. The room overall wasnt clean. The floor apparently hadnt been washed, as my footwear soles required washing. The bedside table had a sticky substance with hairs stuck on top. I used a wet hand towel to clean it off prior to setting my items on it. The trash containers on the second floor staircase area was overflowing with garbage.The area was quiet for a Friday evening.

I stayed there with a friend while working at the GM plant for 3 or 4months. By law he is to pay the taxes and return the money to me at the end of my stay. The last week I was there I left two or three days into the week and he told me there would be money return to me for the rest of the week, on top of that he was supposed to send me my $50 deposit fee for booking the room in case I tore something up. He owed me 180 dollars in taxes, at least 200 dollars for the week I canceled and 50 dollars to return my deposit. I received none of these and his claim was that he sent it to the other card my roommates card. My roommate claimed he never got the money. Whether the money was put on his card it never should have been, considering the last 3 weeks I was there my friend was not and my card was the one that was paying. There is no reason that the rest of my week should have been sent to my friends card or the deposit that I never received. On top of that there is an older man that worked there who is constantly harassing me about towels. Now granted one week I did dirty the towel was up pretty good but after that and after I had apologized. I still received harassment about towels even until 2 months later when I returned to stay there for another week. The owner is friendly despite this. And overall I would stay there again, however, very closely watching the money. Because to me this seems like too easy a situation to get out from paying the money that was supposed to be returned to me.

The employees were nice room was very clean and the shower was wonderful. I would stay their again.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0- WOULD BE TO MUCH! This place is absolutely horrible in every way. This place is ate up with bed bugs. To where they dont care if lights is on or not. Climbing across the bed and down the bed skirt all on the floor. Dead roaches in refrigerator. The bathroom is just nasty in every way failing apart. The whole place is just nasty and failing apart. From the garage or laundry piled up outside the office. The stairs are rusting though. The air conditioning leaks from the 2nd floor down so bad you could take a shower. And probably cleaner to be honest. And forget about sleeping because traffic is coming through none stop. People coming in and out of rooms. I dont see how this place is still in business. Ive lived on the streets and it was safer and cleaner than this place. And forget about saying anything to the management. Because they could careless and pretty much say so. Horrible absolutely horrible. And as you can see these are not babies meaning they have been there for awhile. Unattended and feeding. Dont waste your money or your time. If there the last place sleep in your car. Youll be better off than this dump!

One star is generous! The only reason we had to stay here after seeing the reviews was because we were in town for a festival and ur originally booked hotel was closed down by the city without letting me know and everything else was booked. It was dirty, not cared for, lots of burn holes in the blinds, sheets, and blankets. My sheets were dirty when I arrived and had to get more. The toilet was loose and had to be moved slightly to get the bathroom door closed all the way. There was an onion ring under the nightstand table and dirt/hair all over the floor and shower. The nightstand lights did not work and started flickering at one point. The electrical is suspect for sure! The chairs were torn up and dirty. The breakfast was non-existent unless you wanted a mini muffin or a gas station donut. Do not stay here!

Rooms were AWFUL! Maintenance is not up to par. Lights not working, water was filthy coming out of faucet. WAY OVERPRICED! Nasty.

Literally just left this place 30 min after we checked in. DO NOT STAY HERE. Everything was so dirty and smelly I didn’t want to touch anything. Bed sheets disgusting. Cigarette smell was horrible. Bathroom had very obviously not been cleaned. There was actual belongings someone left there hanging in a bag. I would have felt safer sleeping in a car.

I stayed 2 nights during spring break so hotel was at full capacity. It was loud and busy most all night at no fault of the owner or mangt. My issue was with the lack of accomodations I was offered compaired to what was advertised when I booked my stay. No breakfast, no swimming pool, no hair drier, my fridge was hot (81degrees), microwave was non functional as well as the HVAC unit LPnot functioning so I was freezing night 1 the entire night. Nice tile floors but without heat it was unbearable. The worst part was that the jets on the hot tub were barely working I assume from buildup of lime and minerals. That and the lack of proper cleaning. The water pressure was great! Never had a issue with running out of hot water. And definitely no shortage of live entertainment (other guest) front office staff was professional, kind and did eventually fix the issues. Other then the cost it was what I expected.

We were on spring break and finding a hotel with an open room was near impossible. I called Hotel Columbia and they were able to get us right in. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and I had no issues sleeping through the night despite being next to the stairwell.**EDIT** OYO, I was very pleased with my experience, no need to apologize for anything, I was a happy customer :)**

It could definitely use some work and Im not sure if they do know and realize with the types of tubs we had that for home use a gallon jug of bleach has to be ran through those jets. So for hotel use, depending on the amount of people that stay in the room I would definitely say it would be on the safe side to run the bleach through those jets weekly. If yall had removed those baseboards BEFORE yall laid down that floating floor the job wouldve looked like a professional did it. So if I were yall Id remove them now and replace them with anything thicker. Hell, I know yall have plenty of old box spring mattresses, before yall just throw them away without thinking, break them down for just the wood inside, use a propane torch and burn them, slap a clear coat on them and put them down to hide the 3inch gap from the wall. And start having your cleaners to wipe those huge head boards.... getting someone whose staying there that night need help with money would be cheap labor to pull those weeds or weedeating wouldnt hurt yall to do.

Great hotel I loved it all. I would recommend this place. They have remodeled and it looks amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The tub didnt work and no plug for the tub.light over sink just flickered. When I told them they didnt say anything but the GFI wasnt working. Burn holds in sheets and curtains. But you didnt hear the traffic on the main road and to me that meant a lot. For a last minute room it was okay. But for a planned weekly trip I would pass. Didnt feel very welcome at check in.

Well, as a seasoned traveler, Ive stayed in many different hotels across the country.The manager was friendly and easy to deal with...hes the only reason this is a two star rating.The room...it was falling apart at the seems.The entire building and grounds are infested with multiple species of bugs, millions of them...everywhere, crawling and/or flying all over everything.It was way to expensive @ $775 a weekNo real maid or cleaning,or the placeIt was a nightmare staying there, I wont stay there..again

Was kinda nervous since this seems like it could be a sketchy hotel. Room didn’t look like pics and the hot breakfast they advertise was mini donuts or cereal. But with that being said room was clean enough, no bugs were spotted, and was good experience overall.

Well this place was disappointing. It was way over priced. If a hotel is going to charge over $100 a night, there should be no issues whatsoever. The blanket had stains on it. The door did not shut properly so cold air was coming in. The TV did not work. And the bathroom was dirty. Plus the parking lot had garbage all over it. On the good side the front desk clerk was very friendly and the pillows were actually comfy.

Don’t think i’ve been to a nastier hotel. If ur a tweaker looking for somewhere to shoot up then go ahead. Roaches all over the walls. Bed bugs and roaches battling to death in the microwave. Don’t know how this place hasn’t been nuked yet. I’d rather sleep in a grave.

It was fine for the money. Room was clean. Mattress was comfortable. It was hard to get ahold of anyone at the front desk for anything, and management seemed eager for us to check out even though we were quiet and didnt bother anyone that we know of. Its an old hotel that has held over some items from when it was a Days Inn a few years ago, but for the price its fine. Just dont expect much beyond the very basics.

Got there and was given some of the best customer service Id ever received. Friendly conversation, and ended up getting an upgrade to a suite at no extra cost! Loved the rooms size, bed was comfortable. Couple small issues, one lamp was missing a bulb, and jacuzzi jets werent cleaned properly.

The service was great. However, the room was in terrible shape: only one light bulb, bathroom door was off its hinges, not real clean.

Based off reviews, didnt want to stay here. Given reviews, prices of other affordable(cheap) hotels. In area for work. This one seemed to have least issues. How wrong I was. I could deal with some what upkept rooms, smell of cigarette smoke. I was fine. Then I saw a bed bug, FREAKING BED BUGS. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO PACK. Only to realize, no refund, and I paid for a week. Ever find yourself in the area, looking to save some bucks on lodging, DONT CHOOSE THIS ONE. Spend the extra, go to Hampton or better than this

1 star is an overstatement. If i could submit this review with no stars i would. Non smoking room smelled like smoke & urine. Comforter covered in cigarette burns & when hubby & I finally got into the bed there were bed bugs. We called office but they acted oblivious. Id rather stay in my vehicle than waste money here. Never again.

The pictures posted when looking this place up were nice. However, it was anything but. The rooms were dirty, the towels stained, holes.in the wall and shower. We ended up finding out there were bed bugs. I would not wish this place on my worat enemies. I should never have booked this place and neother should you

I would not suggest this Hotel to anyone, first... They offer a 10% discount to pay right away but you do not receive a discount. Second, I had a guy sleeping in his car outside of my room all night, and he actually knocked on my door at around 3 a.m. drunk. Third, The room had been cleaned halfway, there was dirt along the walls, the tables and dresser was filthy, and the room completely outdated. And lastly, they supposedly put a hold of $50.09 on my credit card for any damage to the room. I was only in the room from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. just to sleep. No damage was done to the room. I even made the bed before leaving. When I checked out I spoke with the front desk... The manager told me the hold was removed. They still debited my credit card for $50.09 and I had to dispute this with my bank.I will no longer be staying at this hotel on my trips to Nashville.

Run away as fast as you can. This place was a nightmare. It looked like it hadnt been cleaned since whatever hotel it was before OYO. Used needles, beer bottles, and cigarettes everywhere. Had to stop off interstate because I was tired, drove another 20 mins after this debacle. Nope not never.

The place was sketchy. The first room we were in the air conditioner didn’t work. They were happy and willing g to move us to a different room. The second room was better however the faucet leaked a little bit. The neighborhood was not very friendly looking. Not worth $100.00 to stay in that’s for sure!!!!

The rooms that I asked for were non-smoking but they smelled like someone had been smoking in them. The refrigerator was broken, and the microwave didnt work. The lighting in the room was really bad and I think it could have been better.

At first glance, it didn’t look too bad.. Pulled back the covers & they hadn’t been changed, there was hair from the last people who stayed in this room. Cigarette burn in the sheets to the mattress as pictured. Had to get new sheets brought up to us. What isn’t pictured here is the refrigerator that had bug droppings & bugs in it. Wash rag left in the shower from idk when.. Overall I wouldn’t recommend but if you had to stop really quick for a couple hours, I guess it wouldn’t be too bad 👎🏼

If negative stars was an option I would give that. The room smelled like cigarette smoke and it appeared people were living there in the “hotel”. There were holes in the towels… we literally chose not to even stay there it was that bad!

Nastiest hotel ever, sticky stuff on the floor, found 2 brown recluses, ceiling falling down, hair in the beds, garbage all over parking lot. $150 plus a $50 deposit that will supposedly be refunded to the card

Better than what was expected. A bit dated but again for a one night stay I was impressed. Price at other locations in that same area too expensive for one night. Room was clean. Bed was great. Overall for the price I’d recommend.

Stay here at your own risk!!! Hotel was not at all what is advertised online and I now have bed bugs here at my home because of this hotel. Id give it a zero star rating if I could.

Only negative is the adjoining room was super loud. You can hear everything between the rooms.

The room I rented was for $90 the room was filthy. The floor was sticky and the bed wasn’t made. And to top it off the lock was broken. I immediately checked out. Do not stay here

Very unfriendly, bed bugs in rooms, stains on all bedding, parking lot extremely full of trash and cigarette butts, trim in room coming down, bathroom very dirty, sink was filthy, smelled like cig smoke, all this for $150 a night . DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

It was okay stay charged me twice for the upgrade for a room that I only did once and even yet I didn’t get the room I upgraded too and I tried to get my money back they said sorry we can’t and only problem I had was room service came in when I was in the shower

Garbage everywhere, no breakfast as advertised, no pool/covered up, broken hair dryer, no light over vanity, very thin old sheets…

Nice comfortable mattress. Room was clean good value for amount i spent.
