This is one of my favorite spa places in the DMV area.Friendly staff, professional services, clean facilities.I especially like how they offer skin treatments for from teen to anti-aging.The services here are on the pricy side compared to the smaller skincare shops, but quality is consistent and worth the value.Plenty parking spaces out front, convenient location, easy to find.They do book up fast, so plan ahead 😉Highly recommended by @winedinenvacay

I received a full body hot stone massage from Cher and I tell you what… That wasn’t a massage… That was a whole life experience! I’ve never had a better massage in my life! Not only did she dig deep into the tissue, but her flow was smooth and relaxing and she literally made my body melt. I’m so thankful for her expertise and recommend her to anyone! Thank you Cher for your amazing work!

I booked a groupon appointment 2 months before the fact and they cancelled the week of because its not policy to have groupon appointments on the weekends. I was extremely frustrated by this last minute cancellation by them when they had 2 months to make that cancellation and nowhere on their groupon does it say that they do not accept Groupon appointments on the weekends.So I finally got around to calling them and they set me up with an appointment. And then the day before they asked me to confirm a different appointment time than what was scheduled. But after I corrected them, they said oh yeah, youre right.Im at the appointment, they take down my Groupon code, I go for my IR therapy, which is very relaxing. You can see my video I took of the IR therapy room. Its nice that you do have an individual room, and they bring you water at the beginning that you can have at your discretion. The facial I had was also very relaxing. It was a little awkward to walk outside basically in the parking lot to get there, but they are expanding, so good for them. The facial was very lovely. The woman giving me my facial was very good at telling me exactly what she was doing and when.Then I got to checkout and they tried to charge me the full price for the session and I asked what about my Groupon and then it took her like 10 minutes to figure out how to get it to work.I am really frustrated with the administrative services here. Can you really not get my appointment time or the amount that I owe for services correct? And cancelling my appointment week of? Because of policy? Did you not have the same policy when I signed up for my appointment? While the service itself was lovely and my face is super smooth now, I cannot recommend anyone go to this spa due to their administrative failings.

Tiarra is such a gifted massage therapist. She knows exactly where the problem spots and knots are and takes just the right approach to work them out, yet she is also very gentle at the same time. Truly a magical experience to get a massage by her. Thank you for doing what you do with so much dedication, care and intention!The front desk staff have been really friendly and pleasant to interact with also. This was my second time at Farashe and I’ll be back and will recommend Tiarra to others!

I went to Farashe for their signature facial spa, and it was a great experience! The front desk and the specialist (Terry Miller) are super helpful and friendly. Terry told me about my tips about how to take care of my skin on my own. Their products are also good to use at home. I got their star product c serum. Will recommend to my other friends and I will definitely go back for other services.

Update: Farashe made my bad brow service experience right. Now, I have the opportunity to fix my brows! To be clear, Ive been going here and leaving good reviews for a decade because I think the spa is terrific. Lynn is a magical massage therapist, Dee is fantastic with lashes and Shelli, the office manager is one of the nicest, most caring people on the planet. This group stands out as exceptional, and Im happy to be a customer.Thank you guys for the support!

WOW as a licensed Esthetician since 2009 in the State of Maryland. Also, a long-time resident in Columbia, I am completely devastated by the treatment I received from the receptionist Catherine this morning. My best friend went online because I always wanted to visit this day spa but never got a chance because I’m super busy. He bought me a 200-dollar gift card to relax because I’ve been grieving my mother is currently on life support in Ashville N, I just recently found out.My 10-year-old Autistic son has been sick and was in the hospital. It’s been crazy, so he thought a spa day would help. Today, while at work I called to book an appointment for today for message and light therapy and had the rudest most unprofessional encounter with Catherine. Afterward, I inquired about speaking with a Manager and she wouldn’t even give me their name. She told me to call back tomorrow when a Manager is there and abruptly hung the phone up. I called back hoping to speak with someone else and she wouldn’t answer and sent me to voice mail. I wasn’t even able to book the 4:30 appointment for today that she said was available. This was a horrific experience to have!!!!!

Cher was great!!! She gets 5 stars. Ive been going to her since I was in college. She has kept my skin in great shape.I received a hydrafacial on my latest visit. Awesome results!

From walking in to leaving the place everything was pleasant. The staffs are friendly and knowledgeable about the services offered. I had my session with Lynn, she definitely works wonders cause I felt like I was on the clouds afterwards. The place is clean, cozy, therapeutic. I will definitely be back.

Farashe Spa was wonderful to experience. The team there was so helpful in helping me plan my sisters bachelorette party while I lived out of state. Definitely plan to visit again next time Im in town.

I surprised my mom with a massage for the both of us for our birthday week. I had Elena, who was amazing and professional. She helped me with the tension in my shoulders and legs. My mom had Cher, whom she really liked and was amazing as well. Very knowledgeable! We did the Farashe Signature Massage for 60 minutes. The front desk staff were friendly as well. Overall, 5/5 stars! Will definitely come back.

Tiarra was EXCELLENT! She gets five stars, absolutely book with her.The front desk staff woman was a different story and incredibly rude. I was misunderstanding her explanation of tipping on a gift card and she was so snippy with me and not helpful at all. I was shocked. Way to undo an hour and half of relaxation on the way out the door.

Set an an appointment for my wife and her friend and paid both in full well over a week in advance. Even went through confirmation a couple days beforehand and filled out all paperwork required. Come day of and they said a therapist is 20 min late. Fine no big deal. Then they waited a total of at least 40 min after said scheduled appointment to be even seen by anyone. They were just hanging out in the lobby. Whats the point of confirmation if they arent going to have staff available? What was supposed to be an easy relaxing gift for my wife, turns out to be very stress inducing. Hopefully the massage is worth it.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now and based off of the reviews, Kiah, was the person to see. Booked my first appointment with her and been in love with her since! She definitely caters to my needs and skin. She’s so sweet, professional, and helpful with any skin care questions. I absolutely adore her and she always leaves me glowing!! If you’re not booking with her, you’re missing out. She’s the best! Collagen facial is my favorite by far and it always gets done correctly.

I loved the atmosphere of the spa. The waiting room was relaxing and the fountain both prepared me for relaxation. Tiara, my masseuse was excellent! She was authentic and kind with good energy; which made me feel comfortable during my message. Her pressure was just right and I left feeling renewed.

I got services here last week before my college graduation and the ladies here were very kind. Front desk staff professional and friendly. I had the 60min farashe massage. Tiara put me to sleep, it was so good I was snoring! Kiah did my facial and she was very thorough. Believe the hype ladies… my face was glowing for about 3days and I got so many compliments. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been to Farashe Spa twice! During my first visit, I got the MOXI treatment and during the second visit with my husband we got the Botox treatment. Both times, Ifedayo was the practitioner who rendered these services. I must confess, she is fantastic at what she does, and it is evident that she is very knowledgeable and enjoys what she does.My husband and I couldnt be happier with the results of the entire experience, which was smooth and professional from start to finish.Ifedayo was incredibly welcoming and informative. During both visits, she took the time to explain the procedure, its benefits, and any potential side effects. She answered all of my questions, which put my mind at ease.The Moxi treatment was virtually painless for me as I opted out of using the numbing cream, although I have a higher pain threshold than most people. I started seeing the results within 3-4 days after my treatment. I cant recommend this day spa enough. Everything Ifedayo explained about what to expect after treatment was spot on. There were no surprises! Ifedayo even recommended some skin routine to follow to maximize the result of my Moxi treatment.The Botox injection itself was little painful but still tolerable. Ifedayo was highly skilled and made sure my husband and I was comfortable throughout the process. The results were exactly what we had hoped for – my fine lines noticeably softened giving me us a youthful appearance. The effects of the Botox treatment became apparent within a few days, and we are so thrilled with how natural and subtle the results are.Lastly, the facility was impeccably clean, and they offer variety of services which are top-notch!I cant recommend Ifedayo and Farashe spa enough as they should be undoubtedly everyone’s go to in the DMV area!

I went in there feeling like I got hit by a bus and I left feeling resurrected! I literally teared up with the front desk and Gil, my massage therapist, because I was amazed at the results. It is the next day, and I still feel amazing, all my aches and pains are gone! Literally the most incredible experience! Worst experience ever at a salon. My husband and I had booked a massage for my birthday as a special treat. After waiting for half an hour, I was told that that my massage therapist wasn’t coming. They had already taken my husband back for his massage after telling us that it would be a few min for someone to come get me. After over 30 min of waiting, they told me that my massage therapist had an emergency and couldn’t make it. They still charged me for my husband’s massage. It was my birthday and we never even would have come if we had known that I would just sit there for an hour while he got a massage. My husband never would have gone in at all had he known that this would happen. The surroundings are not particularly relaxing either, it feels like an office building.The staff were apologetic but at this point we had already gone out of our way to come in for what we thought would be a relaxing experience, and it was the exact opposite. I was quite vocal about my disappointment that I had to pay for a service that we wouldn’t have booked at all had we known that it would turn out this way. The receptionist called the owner who agreed to refund us, but it was unfortunate that this wasn’t offered as the first logical step. Also, it doesn’t really make up for a terrible experience on what was meant to be a special outing. In the future, if two people come in for an experience together and only one therapist is available due to emergency, this should be made very clear - the circumstances are extremely rare when someone would come with their significant other or friend for a salon experience, and either party would be ok with just one person getting the agreed-upon service while the other just sat there and waited for an hour; that sort of thing really ruins the experience for both parties.I will say that the staff were very nice and tried to make me feel better. Policies could probably use some revising for situations like this.

Going to see Kiah is my favorite part of the month!!! She has changed my face completely!! She made me feel beautiful again! I absolutely love her and her service she is so kind and welcoming you will feel like you are right at home when she is taking care of you. Honestly the BEST customer service i have had!

Aesthetician was pretty quick with her facials. I come home and visit a friend who is also an aesthetician who said that extraction done on my nose for blackheads and white heads was not done entirely. There was a lot more that couldve been extracted. Not happy with the service. I even stated that to the front desk lady. I would not recommend my aesthetician but my husbands aesthetician was great.

I really enjoyed my massage, my husband and I did the couples aromatherapy massage, 60 minutes. He says he really liked his missus, and I liked mine too. The atmosphere is awesome, very classy and relaxing. Everyone was extremely nice. They also do a military discount with is so awesome. I appreciate that I was able to make the appointment the night before too! We would go back.

Ive been coming here for the past couple months...started with a gift certificate and ended up buying the membership. So far Ive done a couple deep tissue massage and mud wrap and I feel amazing. And of course cant forget the ultra relaxing sauna. Having the membership really puts the pressure on to take care of myself and forces you to take time out for you. The staff is fantastic and professional and really makes you feel comfortable. Gil is the best at loosen up those tight muscles and knots and Tiara was soothing during my mud wrap. Heading back next week.

This was my first time at Farashe The Day Spa and everything was excellent. I always get wonderful service at this spa. As soon as I walk in, I get greeted warmly from the front desk. I appreciate how much they try to accommodate me when it comes to the time I need to come in, rechecking, getting more information about other services, and so much more.Their COVID protocols are great too; they’ll check your temperature, sanitizer is readily available, and they sanitize them rooms after each guest.I typically always see Gil for a deep tissue massage and she never fails! I have a lot of problems with my back and she always remembers exactly what area needs to be focused on the most, and the pressure is perfect. I never have gotten a massage better than this, she truly knows whats shes doing.I love this spa and recommend this place to everyone!

The Massage Specialist and the Front Desk Receptionist were absolutely Phenomenal! I have always received Great service, Customer service consistently and never ceases to amaze me how Great I feel when Im at the end of my sessions. I had such a bizarre experience here. I decided to treat myself and made an appointment for a hydrafacial for my birthday- 6 weeks in advance. My appt. was for 11:00am, I drove the 30 minutes to the spa from my house and arrived 11 minutes early. Cher, my assigned facialist, arrived to work for the day AFTER my appointment start time. I waited almost another 10 minutes before being told they actually didnt have all of the products to do a hydrafacial and could they give me a different facial. I booked this 6 weeks in advance and your facility opens at 10:00am. I ended up wasting a lot of time on my birthday when I could have been doing literally anything else. I do not believe for a second that this couldnt have been avoided. Super unprofessional and I will definitely not be coming back.

Very relaxing experience. Cher is the best! All your stress just melts away upon entering the location. They now offer sauna services. Their tranquility room is very inviting, it has a DIY nail station! They make sure to assess all medical needs and areas youd like to focus on. I definitely recommend stopping in!A tip for the ladies, make sure to get your massages and or facials before getting your hair done 😊

Love this spa and dont get to go as often as I like. From the infrared sauna to the Turkish bath service, i have never been displeased. Just had the Baltimore Checkers pot package, slept through most it, cause thats what happens to me, but I left very relaxed. Treat yourself. Its worth it.

Cher was my masseuse and esthetician. She was very rough during the massage and during the facial she didnt tell me about a single product but asked me if I wanted to buy one at the end. when given feedback she became very rude and irate. She wouldnt even leave the room to allow me to get dressed when I asked her three times. I had to yell for help then she called me crazy. She even put her hand in my face when confronted

Excellent, well-maintained spa. The prices are consistent with a top spa that offers their level of luxury and service. I have been to this spa three times in the past four months. The first time, I spent the day with Gil who did my Turkish Vichy Bath and Massage. I also did a 30-minute sauna session. After this session, Gil became my go-to aesthetician. The second time Yasmine did my Egyptian wax (a step above the Brazilian). She was very professional. This last time, I had Gil do my Egyptian wax and deep tissue massage. She is wonderful and very caring. If you are considering getting a private-area wax, be sure to book with Gil.there is no need to be shy with her. She is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable. I am definitely looking forward to my spa day next month.

The receptionist was so personable and had a great sense of humor. Farashes infrared sauna has an ambiance that I havent experienced before with soothing music, soft lighting and back rest. Can you say mood setter😄; I fell asleep.

I found this place on Groupon and Im extremely grateful I did! Its a beautiful place with a relaxing vibe. Wonderful staff that have a wide range of capabilities. Theres plenty of Groupons out there if you want to go try it out. I was so happy I bought another one when I was there.

Farashe is a gem hidden in the center of Columbia. I was never a spa goer until I started with Farashe. After visiting some other spas I can say, their level of service and products really do surpass many.I mainly get facials and massages and can honestly say that Yasemin has improved my skin more effectively than any dermatologist out there. I am at the point that I can now go for maintenance and relaxation.As for massages, I am a tough one. Literally! Some many massage therapist tell me how tough and rough my muscles are and I am definitely of average female frame. However Alex and Yue provide the best deep tissue massage (and respectfully adjust to your pressure preference). Puts me to sleep every time :-)Try the new Turkish Body Treatment. It helps with toxins in the body and reduction of swelling.Overall A+ and well priced. They are definitely a part of my health and well-being family!

Terrell did an amazing job. He focused the massage on the areas I indicated and really helped me release chronic tension in my muscles. He was courteous and personable, and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed

Yasemin is absolutely amazing. Since going to her for facial treatments my skin has gotten so much better as far as wrinkles and smoothness and health wise. She doesnt let you get spa facials just to get a facial, she educates you on what needs to be done in order for your skin to start repairing itself and what products to use. She does not let you waste your money. If you want actual results, ask for Yasemin! Amazing.Also, Shelli at the front desk is a gem. All around feel at home here.

Lynne is an excellent massage therapist. She is knowledgeable and knows exactly how to conduct the massage based on your reports and what she feels during the massage, and I always feel great at the end. I highly recommend her.

I LOVE this place and the people who work there!!! Ive been going to Farashe for regular waxes, facials, and massages for over a year now and I would never go anywhere else. Yasemins waxes are almost painless and her passion for skincare and health are wonderful. Awhile back I began to break out suddenly and terribly. Yasemin consulted me on how to manage my skin and treated me with pore extractions and a facial peel and Im happy to say that my skin has never looked better! Now that Im pregnant, Ive been getting prenatal massages and I feel like Im walking on air afterwards, which says a lot considering Im nine months pregnant.

I wanted to try as many spas in Columbia as possible, so I make it a point to go to one every month. Last Saturday, I went to Farashe and I would have to say that their masseuse was really good. It was very relaxing. Only reason I’m giving it a 4 is the price. It’s expensive compared to most.

Ive been to many salons and have had many facials, but Yasmin, who is the new owner of this day spa, is the first in a long time to keep me coming back and refer my friends. I was frustrated with my dermatologist and frustrated that nothing really worked to give me clear skin, Ive nearly tried it all. Yasmin not only gives a great facial, but shes sincere in her work to help me have better skin. Since shes owned the salon I know she is investing in the business and wants a staff that cares about skin and health just as much as she does.

Yasemin produces great results and shes a pleasure to work with. I’ve been a client for 3+ years and seen a dramatic change in my skin. So grateful for her talent and fun personality!

I treated myself for the first time for my birthday back in January and after spending $265 for the service the boss ask for a tip what if that was everything I could afford ?and it was something that I saved up for its rude to ask your customer for a tip and then tell your customer that your ladies work really hard ,I work hard for my money as well and I save that for my birthday so I can treat myself so demanding a tip is a complete turn off never again will spend my money here69

My SO and I found this place when trying to get a massage on short notice, and we had a great time here! The 60 mins couples massage was excellent, Cher and Noor were wonderful, and my only regret is that I didnt opt for the 90 minute option

I went in today for a facial. The lady was very nice but i didnt get any massage during the facial. I was quite disappointed. Most facials i have had in the past did some sort of neck and chest massage. I believe this place is overpriced and the service is underrated.

Love love love farashe. Joy was amazing, dont really tip front desk receptionist but every time I come she gives me her undivided attention, treating me with care. Please dont get rid of her . New customer appointment felt rushed. Didnt keep their word about covid policy. Asked us to book a 1 hour farashe facial, then later complained that we booked too short a duration.

The receptionist was kind. I went for the infrared sauna, it wasnt hot enough for me. I know its mainly for the different wavelengths, the setting it was on was very mild
